Minecraft Vampire Expansion Gameplay

What’s up guys cuscohonk here and today we are playing the vampire expansion map on the Minecraft Marketplace I was gonna play this one last week because it came out last week um but I was sick so I didn’t have time but we are checking it out today

Looks like I’m gonna be turning into a vampire in this stream oh I got a monster Soul that’s cool what does that do nothing yet maybe for crafting what have we got over here Vampire Knight that’s cool it’s like a vampire villager he’s gonna give us a tour by the looks

Of it ah here’s all the custom items okay we got custom weapons some custom totems on the right side that’s cool and I know that we can actually turn into a vampire oh look at the vampire arm on the left that looks epic with the the flapping wings

Hey guys welcome to the Stream uh so graveyard dungeon you can challenge monsters and gather souls to trade for new equipment and that’s what the Monster souls are for okay so that’s the Traders got a sole Trader and the Crimson Trader they look cool but especially this look at this that is epic

Okay he’s gonna give me a tour of each of them but oh yeah okay the Crimson armor is a useful armor set that gives bonus effects to players with Crimson helmets giving flying ability while equipped can I just I know I can’t wait oh yeah I can I can

Give me give me give me oh no no give me that back you can just take the armor straight away who needs iron armor sick I’ve got strength resistance fire resistance and night vision and I look very cool I just became a vampire in Minecraft oh look at that I’ve got double jump

I can double jump now just from wearing the armor that’s very cool I’m not even listening to the uh I’m not even reading what the Villager guy is saying that’s okay that’s epic that’s very Epic so this just straight up gives you uh the ability to fly pretty much

There’s a cool little bat effect can I do it again oh yeah oh yeah I can just fly I can literally fly I’m just spamming the space bar and my wings flap a little bit and off I go oh okay okay almost died there so here we have wait let’s read this

Quickly see if there’s like a crafting recipe Crimson armor players will receive bonus effects yep um oh wait wait I just saw it they can be obtained as hostile mob drops or they can be traded with the Crimson Trader right that makes sense Crimson helmets gives flying ability right that’s from

The helmet then the ability to fly uh huh double jump to take off and tap jump to fly all right yeah I figured that one out on my own so we’ve got a sword kind of a scythe a battle ax oh like a double sword that’s cool

Uh some kind of dagger or knife of sorts or just a long some kind of blade these look like yeah these are clearly stuffs so I wonder what they do uh we’ll read the book in a second this is like a vampire ender pearl I think and some vampire Foods

And some new totems I’m very excited to see what these do we’re gonna test all of them out during the Stream I’m going to become a master vampire uh some spawn eggs and disable fog or enable Folk wait let’s turn it off just for a second to see what it looks like

Uh yeah yeah it’s cleared it’s it’s a very light fog you can it takes a second to load yeah I see it’s kind of a it’s a very close fog it’s close to the screen but it’s very transparent so we’ll keep that on all right let’s take a look at what the

Weapons do crimson’s sword damage 8 durability 1500 I don’t know if that’s a lot to be honest uh attack type single targets uh can I burn in daylight that’s a good question Crimson gaming I actually don’t think so although the moon is going down so the sun is rising I guess

I guess we’ll find out when the sun is here will I turn will I will I burn I mean I’m not even sure if I’ve actually turned into a vampire I’m kind of just wearing the vampire armor so am I technically a vampire I’m not sure uh let’s see then there’s the Crimson

Dual sword that does damage six attack type single targets two ability 2500 can I oh yes I can try it cool oh I look epic wait let me take off my shield oh that looks so cool oh yeah yeah there’s a couple of animations we got left

Left right and then a double attack let’s try that on these dummies here wait if I hit them from the side and they still bounce back that’s something I always uh always wonder with the test dummies still a very cool animation cool sword animations too all right double jump

So let’s put those back this is cool this is interesting it’s like a an armor stand but it’s not oh there’s like sound effect wait what’s my let me turn on my way a little bit There we go it’s kind of quiet for you guys to I’ll turn it up on the stream a bit okay oh that looked like a powerful attack yeah this one also has several attack animations man I love the armor it looks so epic looks really epic very cool

All right how about the scythe oh got a spinning attack cool got three different attack animations again oh oh that’s Epic I can hit several things at the same time like uh like that enchantment on Java Edition what’s it called the sweeping Edge oh that’s very cool this is my favorite

Weapon so far uh wait let me see this quickly right yeah Crimson battle ax and Crimson Scythe attack type multiple Target right right that’s cool that’s cool oh what a oh okay that’s interesting we got a ghost spider here what is it doing wait attack me

Yeah wait it bites me I get Darkness for a second that’s cool that’s very cool nice and that gave me a month or so pretty cool very cool hey chat stream Sam welcome to the Stream so we’re gonna put the iron armor here I literally don’t need it because I’ve got

The vampire armor which is 100 cooler let’s try out the battle ax so this one also only does one tiger at a time cool animation though and I think it’s got a lot of attack doesn’t it let’s see that one does 20 damage oh yeah that’s the strongest one it’s

Kind of slow too to make up for how strong it is all right what’s uh what’s this one Crimson dagger damage for durability unbreakable okay so this weapon lasts forever cool let’s stick that back and then Crimson orb a range weapon that shoots a volley of crimson projectiles to deal damage

All right let’s see what this does oh that’s cool it’s kind of like a shotgun cool particle cool projectile particle ankle sound effect that’s epic got a vampire shotgun who would have thought and I can wait I think I can hit multiple at the same time yeah look at that

That’s epic that’s very cool okay I think that’s probably my favorite thing now so that’s second favorite that’s favorite what about these stuffs okay we’ve got a crimson wand a range weapon that shoots a crimson projectile to deal damage to a single Target damage four and unbreakable so it has no duration

Interesting the durability I mean okay this is like the oil I guess this one is easier to craft because I’m not sure why you would craft this one if you could have the orb unless this one’s stronger than the orbs let’s see damage two and this one damage

Four oh yeah this one’s stronger again very cool I like it a crimson stuff a crimson stuff is a ranged weapon that shoots a crimson projectile to deal damage to multiple targets damage 10 all right oh that’s cool there’s a bit of camera Shake there very cool exploding particle

I love it it’s cool how it’s all very sort of red and blood themed sticks with the uh matches the vampire um aesthetic so what we got here this is Crimson fruits fruit of Crimson Forest replenish full health and a small amount of hunger when consumed ah okay full health

With uh yeah I thought so it gave me for just a second it gave me a lot of regeneration that’s cool and then it replenishes a bit of uh hunger too what’s this one Crimson Pearl a mysterious Pearl that can be thrown to teleport player a player to where it

Lands and spread bad particles around cool down 1.5 seconds durability unbreakable this item is not craftable but it doesn’t break so it’s like yeah it’s a reusable ender pearl wait that’s a little bit higher that’s cool that’s cool I like that all right I’m just going to keep all the

Items with me actually so let’s put these aside uh yeah put the monster Souls there so what’s this thingy illusion shot a mysterious Crystal formed by crimps and shards it attracts nearby Hostile Mobs then explodes to deal damage to them go down three seconds durability unbreakable this item is not craftable

Okay so this is kind of like a a monkey bomb in um Call of Duty zombies oh it looks epic it looks Epic so zombies and stuff will walk towards it and then they will they will die from the explosion very nice right what about these totems so we’ve got totem of batsol

Totem of betzel summons dark bats to protect you and assist you in combat cool down two seconds this item is not craftable can be obtained by trading with Crimson Trader okay that’s cool foreign I just summoned like a little little minion very cool particle here too they’ve done

A great job on the particles and the models of the bad at least they look okay they look okay nothing too special I think they’ve done a good job on the uh on the item textures they look very good so totem of wolf Soul someone’s Dark

Wolf to protect you and assist you in combat cool down five seconds durability Unbreakable okay also not craftable let’s give it a try oh accidentally double jumped there hey mad CJ welcome to the Stream ah wait wait it said need eight monster Souls so using these costs monster Souls

I did not realize that let me just take one now I have four okay that’s cool so I need monster souls to use these that’s kind of a fair trade-off but so that one summons a wolf what about this one someone’s vampire Archer to protect you and assist you in combat

Cool down 10 seconds Okay cool so like my private uh skeleton bodyguard kind of uh someone’s vampire Warriors to protect you and assist you in combat that’s kind of like a zombie or a vampire I guess so basically I can spawn some new uh vampires very cool

Okay these guys are a bit distracted I will put this sword here too because I’m gonna be taking this and you know what I’ll take all the other weapons too why not just gonna take them all with me they are now mine double sword okay the wand is cool but I think wait

What do I want on my I think I want the yeah this one the orb the Crimson orb on my third slot since that one is probably my favorite projectile weapon of them all okay I’ve looted the tutorial area I’ve taken pretty much everything oh wait so monster Souls let’s read this quickly

On social Hostile Mobs with low health and high damage they can spawn in almost any location in the Overworld and nether with light level of seven or less killing a monster Soul drops zero to three souls and a bit of experience list of the once Souls we’ve got Creeper Soul

Zombie Souls spider Soul skeleton Soul future soul and animal Soul so those are the ghosts basically and they drop oh yeah there’s some pictures although the spider Souls messed up pill just Soul animal Soul very cool so those drop this item which I need to use the totems and stuff

What do we have here oh Crimson horse Crimson horse is a neutral mob that can be ridden when tamed and settled it is similar to horse Health 20 to 40 classification animal usable items monster soul ah Crimson bat uh Crimson horse spawns in Crimson forest biome in nether I know

This is still right this is still for the hardest Behavior so like it spawns in the Crimson Forest in the nether fast movement speed increased jump height fire immunity and cam walk slash run on lava oh nice taming is required to control it while riding okay how do I

Tame it though it doesn’t say what item all right Crimson bats Crimson bat is a neutral mob that can be used to transport items when Tamed sounds good health 20th Untamed 100 if tamed classification animal usable items monster soul are usable for taming I think yeah that would make sense

Uh spawns in every biome in the nether cool it can be used to store items and it can be dyed Can Be Tamed by feeding monster soul to it okay it makes sense but I can actually grab two of them from here oh wait I don’t really need this

Crossbow either since I’ve got the Crimson orb let’s just put that there so Crimson Horse let’s summon one of these very cool do I tame it like a regular horse oh yeah oh that was cool I don’t have a saddle for it though luckily for me oh no didn’t I turn on

Cheats I could have sworn I put on cheats wait let me turn on cheats I need a saddle I refuse to go without a saddle I will not leave this horse behind cheats yes on slash give at s saddle there you go oh look at that particle that’s very cool

A trail of well I guess blood oh look at its feet that’s funny the front feet they’re like almost slap itself in the face that’s funny very cool very fast and looks very Epic I love it and then the crimps and bats let’s give that one a try

All right I have to get monster soul no it ate all of them and it’s still not timed for more there we go hey look he’s got a little backpack that’s cute nice and I can put all sorts of stuff in there let’s uh let’s put this stuff in there

Do I need a bed I’m not sure and let’s do such give at s lime die to see if the dyeing works oh yeah cool the color changes color very cool and so does it follow me oh yeah it does look at it oh that’s so

Cute I don’t know why it just looks so cute it’s flying at me but these these ones are really annoying me now because they’re just standing here not doing anything I guess they’re just gonna be there forever now all right fine by me I don’t need the main way now let’s go

Explore the map a bit we got some cool statues around the place I saw those in the background somewhere that looks Epic very cool that’s the dungeon that’s where we can fight uh some mobs let’s check out the Traders first oh oh what the that looks cursed oh it’s shooting at me

Okay nice nice yes silica box plus a lay bats okay got four monster Souls let’s see uh what I can get from these Traders sole Trader okay he trades monster souls for resources that’s cool I think this would be a cool world to do just a regular um survival playthrough not for me

Because I’m gonna do just I think we’re only gonna do this for one stream but this is the kind of map that you could do uh a long survival playthrough on I wonder what’s better though netherai ingots I mean netherite armor it’s hard to say because I have

Resistance 4 from my um vampire armor so I’m guessing that would be better than full netherite I’m not sure and you can get all kind of in fact you can get all the best books from this guy that’s cool kind of overpowered but I like it I like it

Oh what do you trade Soul Sand from Monster Soul that’s cool pretty easy to get monster Souls then Crimson fruit I will get one of those because they are very useful uh and then this guy also just trades the weapons and stuff oh you can also get completely maxed out

Gear that’s cool very cool hey Goose can honk welcome to the Stream okay so currently my gear wait let’s let’s take a look at my armor it doesn’t say it but on the other armor it says which effects that it gives you see at the bottom it says plus strength

Three resistance 405 resistance and night vision so that’s cool where’s my horse gone there it is right we will explore the map a bit before we actually do the dungeon it’s a cool little graveyard here right that’s the dungeon down there oh that’s a cool statue

We’ll check that out in a bit let’s go see the other places first wait can my horse fly no no I can’t I should just fly around without my horse for a bit so this whole thing is a graveyard basically oh we’ve got a castle over here I think

I can use this as a base I think that’s what this is meant for this is basically your your house got some monster Souls around here you die you die too nice let’s just shoot that one it doesn’t do too much damage I forgot this one does a lot of damage oh yeah

Nice and then I can just fly back up oh we got pillages we got Pillager ghosts oh no I missed I missed okay wait I think I need the orb oh no I saw my bad no bat get out the way cool double jump this is epic yeah I think they’ve done a

Great job on this map it’s a nice little uh addition to your vanilla gameplay basically gives you a whole new play style in a way but still um through just adding a few small vanilla Editions yeah I like it I think they’ve done a great job on this map

Let’s check out the inside I’m not sure if I mentioned it by the way it’s by overtail Studio ‘s they um I haven’t played a lot of their maps to be honest okay that looks cool very cool well we got over here enchantment room oh monster Souls I will take those we got

A villager but he’s a noob because there’s an OP villager over there it’d be actually kind of cool if I brought that op villager into this room that might be a bit tricky okay let’s see we got a kitchen room also known as a kitchen as yeah some furnaces here basically

I keep double jumping accidentally that’s kind of annoying it’s very useful but it’s also annoying that whenever I try to Sprint and jump it it double jumps so that’s a dining room I also noticed I don’t have a pickaxe but do I need one

No yeah I’ve got a a new block a plant pot base and what’s this the plant pot top it is indeed so there’s a nice little new block as well in case you wanted that apparently vampires eat bread now that’s what they eat when they’ve run

Out of food what does this do again oh right yay I really want to test this I can’t wait to test that in the dungeon that’s going to be epic okay what’s over here living room it’s just kind of decoration really and make sure it isn’t garlic bread good point good point

That’s true so um what do we have up here is there a storage room was a new lampite or a block that looks a bit ugly though I don’t like that much hmm uh what’s this Library pretty cool just decoration though uh also Library free trident Workshop okay

It’s cool wait let me press that see what happens press button to refill water but that’s not water that’s lava dude okay we got another Trader here some monster Souls I had to write scraps for free this is basically where you do your crafting and stuff oh cool there’s even a map

Okay I think that’s these no that’s a dungeon area that’s a oh no that’s the spawn area that’s a dungeon area that’s another portal and I haven’t been there yet so we will check that out that’s cool I like that they um that they added a map a map of the area

Uh that’s a library master bedroom I got some storage here oh nice it comes with a little bit of loot nothing too overpowered uh and even the barrels are filled that’s something that I like a lot and the furnaces have coal oh that’s such good attention to detail

That is very good attention to detail some reason barrels and furnaces are always empty uh in um Marketplace maps and even in the vanilla Minecraft structures you’ll never find a furnace with uh with coal in a village or something like that I’m guessing what chat stream uh Sam to

Said is not true you can get a creeper to attack you with the melee attack I wasn’t really I read like half of it something about washing creepers feeds uh um not sure I read it properly so secret door here no no secret door it’s still in uh in progress Goose can honk

Oh I’ve already got more than a stack of monster soul sweet I do have slowness from this armor that’s a little bit annoying I guess because otherwise it’s a bit too overpowered they give you slowness as well all right that was the house then that I

Think I’ve seen all of the house there wasn’t a like a dedicated storage room but there was I know the slowness is from the Scythe oh yeah there is a dedicated storage room I just didn’t see it sweet oh for some reason there’s monsters holes there and there they’ve hidden them all over

The place it’s cool nice nice they’ve even given you a bit of sort of starter blocks this is good this is good we got another Trader guy here hello Trader guy and what have we here basement and villager chamber okay is this like oh oops think this is a trading haul

And this is more like a breeding hole for breeding villagers yeah yeah cool cool okay follow me bat guy backpack bat oh nice nice we’ve got a trading hole here too that’s cool water tunnel wait a minute now before we check out the water tunnel what’s over here

Automatic Farms this is very cool I wasn’t expecting this as part of it as well it’s kind of like the um ah actually you know I think Warden house which I played a while ago I think that might have been by overtail Studio too which uh would kind of explain why it’s

A very similar layout let’s Harvest all the crops okay that’s just for these ones over here automatic bamboo Farm got an automatic pumpkin and melon farm I think there’s a cat swimming there Harvest all of these nice semi-automatic crop farms uh maybe that one was melon over there

And this one is pumpkin or other way around oh tell me it goes in here automatically you know what it does yeah I know it does I see the water up there yeah yeah see it’s coming in let’s go to potatoes yes yes awesome awesome yeah I think this is

Probably the same people that made the um the wooden house map which was also a very cool uh map it was one that I said I wouldn’t really uh play personally for a long time but I definitely thought it was very cool uh thank you Drake just confirmed wooden

House is by overtail Studio cool yeah they’ve done a great job on this one it’s very similar to um to Warden house so if you liked wooden house then this is uh definitely a good map for you I actually prefer this one to wooden house because

I think the items are a bit cooler but they’re very similar definitely very similar uh let’s go to the water tunnel yeah this is the water tunnel whatever that may be oh cool it’s a little like a sewer in a way we’ve got a boat here some more Monster Soul Spyglass I will

Take that boat with chest I didn’t know you can do this I’ve never actually driven a boat with a chest do you drive a boat I’m not sure we cool it’s like a sacred uh tunnel out of your um out of your base Epic let’s hop out here

We’ve got like uh what is this a guest house I guess all right and we’re back at the start yeah this is the start a little wandering Trader you die all right I’m very excited to test out these weapons I’ve got lots of Monster Souls which I need for um

For the totems so I’m very curious how that’s going to go in the in the dungeon hey silly boy welcome to the Stream yeah yeah exactly Jake hey artem care welcome to the Stream we are gonna go into the dungeon with all our custom weapons now um

Let me rearrange a bit I think I won’t need the Crimson Pearl that’s basically an infinite ender pearl I will take the Crimson sword oh it’s random ghosts out here or Monster Souls I guess all right we are going in we’ve got the easy dungeon and the hard dungeon

A very cool skeleton statue let’s go uh let’s go easy first okay here we go nice the Scythe is very powerful I can just kill more with one shot but let’s try out the shard yeah I see they’re attracted to the side and then it blows up Epic

Gets a bit too far away I think wait can I shoot it oh no I can’t really shoot it spawns where I’m standing and it pushes me back nice nice very cool okay now let’s uh let’s deal with these a bit more efficiently the I think the projectile weapons

Aren’t that strong or they don’t feel that strong is this really the easy version supposedly let’s just double jump away from there double jump again the double jump is very Epic okay double jump double jump yes okay sword let’s get out the sword paper or Creeper Soul

Nice when there’s a lot of them the Scythe works very well look at all these monsters okay let’s try some totems uh totem of Warrior soul oh epic let’s go I got some vampire warriors fighting for me now wait I’m stuck I need food food food food okay double jump

All right all right let’s try out the ultra soul right now we got some Archer vampires oh epic they can fly they’re like flying skeletons and they’re on my side oh lots and lots of Monster Souls oops accidentally take my own thing wait I know what I’m gonna do Crimson fruit

Boom full health there we go all right I’m surprised this is easy mode it’s actually kind of hard so we’ve used the Archer Soul the warrior soulless Trail the wolf soul hey we got some vampire doggies they make funny noises and that’s all nice get some friendly bats

So does this use so I’ve got 64 wait let’s see how many do I have 64 64 and 15. oh don’t I please don’t die okay uh let’s spawn the warrior soul and how much does that oh yeah yeah no it does it definitely uses some of the

Monster Souls so you have to have monster souls to use the totems let me just use my sweeping Edge okay I’ll shoot them from a distance a bit the projectile weapons make it feel uh a lot like Doom especially with the fact that I’m jumping around okay

We got a lot of mobs in out stay back stay back some more vampire bread hey Marcel hey Nolan welcome to the stream guys all right let’s spawn some more Warriors oh that has it cooldown I forgot and some other vampire dogs nice I know right it’s uh it’s a very cool

Map it’s kind of small it’s um very similar to Warden house if you remember that it’s by the same makers of wooden house and it’s very similar basically it adds a few sort of oh no they killed my carrier back they killed my bat with chest and basically they added like a base

Like a fully kitted out base with everything you could need automatic storage system for um for your crops and then they added some cool little weapons and stuff like that some abilities I can double jump with my very cool bat armor so yeah it’s uh it’s a nice little map

And it’s only 660 mine coins so I think this one is uh definitely worth it this gets gets a um ghost stamp of approval there’s some custom mobs and stuff custom weapons custom items uh let’s try some different weapons for a bit oh I’m low need some more garlic bread yummy yummy yummy

Lots of Monster Souls around here kind of low oh wait wait wait I know I need to what’s this for those that haven’t seen it yet what’s that and Kaboom oh look at all those monster Souls so wait wait so is is this is this dungeon never ending I think it

Might be never ending bread bread bread well it’s gonna end soon if I don’t survive hey the void welcome to the Stream I think this dungeon is never ending I think they’re both never ending maybe it’s just to get some monster Souls okay let’s spawn some more Warriors archers wolves and a bat

Oh there’s more yeah this seems to be infinite still like the Scythe most especially for um because the size basically a sweeping Edge so it can hit multiple mobs at the same time so for this dungeon that’s very useful yeah I don’t think this is gonna end but there’s oh

I’ll take that oh it will take that too this fully regenerates your health and I will take all the Soul Sand too because the Soul Sand can be traded for Monster Souls which can be used for the um uh for trading and for the totems and stuff my arm is

Slow let’s get some new armor and then we will go to the hard difficulty oh yeah we haven’t seen the Ender ghosts yet or the pillagers so that’s gonna be interesting all right let’s go trade for some new gear and we can get it with full enchantments

I broke my helmet so now I can’t double jump oh Pillager Pillager ghost and annoying skeleton no no no no no no please die yeah nope okay there so Soul Trader this guy should give me you know this guy does that trade what a sound and then we can get some new armor Perfect fully maxed out armor that’s going to be useful in the hard level dungeon oh it’s got a cool red glow in fact yeah they changed the enchantment lint to make it red I didn’t realize that that’s cool that looks very Epic very very epic I could also fly by the

Way for those that missed it I can fly because of the like a double jump and fly because of the um the helmet which you can’t really see very well but it’s there all right so what else can I get I can get some more of these these fully replenish your health

And they also refill your hunger a little bit ah but you know what we’ll get a few but I kind of need these for the for the totems I Need My Monster Souls what happened to my Crimson Horse by the way I think I ditched it somewhere rip that’s okay

Right let’s try some different weapons so we’ll use the Crimson wand uh instead of the orb actually and maybe the Crimson dagger let’s give that a another try trims and Dagger is kind of small doesn’t do a lot of damage let’s go gonna try it on hard mode now

Hello I just realized I’m holding a totem and a sword in one hand but in first person it looks very weird that’s funny okay wait let me drink some water before I go in there I’m gonna make sure I’m prepared it’s already started no no no no no no

Okay when you if you move away they spawn again that’s cool here we go all right okay it’s pretty fast I can hit pretty quickly nice got some more Monster Souls actually this doesn’t even look that hard so far so good so the jockeys look really funny

It’s like they’re Standing On Top of the on top of the spider instead of sitting on it okay I almost get the impression that the other side was the hard side and they’ve accidentally called called it the easy side oh no no but this one has pillages so this one should be harder

They’re shooting each other fine by me oh the dagger is surprisingly strong yeah the dagger seems to one hit everything I thought the dagger didn’t have much um tank damage I can’t remember though okay let’s spawn some friendlies and yeah some arches we’ve got Warriors and archers nice

It’s a shame this doesn’t really have an end though or maybe that I don’t know your score also isn’t recorded anyway from what I can tell so it does it has kind of a bit of a pointless feeling to it other than I guess if you’re playing in survival that’s a useful

Way of getting um monster Souls which is probably where it’s meant for it’s meant for like farming monster Souls really oh okay let me just eat a cherry thing Crimson fruit okay Crimson wand not so good I prefer the um the Crimson orb feels cooler to be honest it’s mostly
