We are gonna build a town with a house especially designed for each village of profession including some that don’t even exist yet don’t you go anywhere Good morning good afternoon good evening and good night and welcome to another building Cheetara sewed for me a man to date very excited we are going to be starting a brand new series where we will create a town with a special house designed for each villager profession including some villager professions that Don’t even exist at the moment which is really really great I’m then going to be released in the world for download for some of my patrons as well as a schematic for each individual house so that is something that you can grab hold of if you’re a member of my patreon Group let’s crack over there the first house we’re going to do is the farmer and this is what our town looks like now absolutely nothing whatsoever but we are going to be changing this piece-by-piece episode by episode into a really cool town that you can get hold of yourselves Let’s start and this is the palette that I’m going to be using we’ve got some various bits of stone some various bits of wood specifically oak and spruce we’ve got some decorative blocks that we’re going to be using inside and obviously with it being a farmer we’ve Got a composter but these houses are gonna be fairly simple so we’re gonna build that first off a bit of a grid which is a 9 by 9 s that’s 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 and then we’re just Gonna connect up the two with a square so make sure I get it in the right spot otherwise I’ll look like a no no there we go we’ve got a square there that works very well and then on this side we’re gonna come in two on either side These are temporary I’m gonna go one two three and then one there one two three one day you know what I might put one there I might like you there that’s better I see I think I prefer that and then we’re gonna get rid of those two like that then we’re gonna Come out one two three pop on there one two three pop one there that is gonna be our front so what I’m now going to bring these up another five one two three four and five and all of these corners and we’re gonna cross beam them right across the top Like that I’ll be back when I finish them so we’ve got this here which is a one two three four five six high Cross beamed into a bit of a cuboid these two here which are coming out from the sides you can see we’re going to bring these Up another three making a total of four and we’re gonna cross beam them across like that we’re not going to attach them to the rest of the house just yet but we will be doing so in a moment the next thing we’re gonna do is a little bit Strange with what I normally do and we’re going to be building up a wall between these posts not one back in so as we’ve got depth but between these posts we’re going to provide the depth in a little bit and we’re going to create all of the walls in exactly the Same way what others will punch out windows and doors and things like that in just a moment I’ll be back in a second one stone cube how very dull but we’re going to stop it being dull by putting a little bit of texture in now now we’re not going to bother with the Bottom row so much because that’s going to be relatively obscured I’ll put a little bit in some of the bottom rows but we’re going to texture up this wall with stone and also some stone and brick like that so important others stone brick in there this is utterly random I Don’t care where you do this you can do it wherever you want and one like that you can see we’ve got a bit of a texture now we’re gonna repeat that on all of these walls and then what we’re gonna do is we’re gonna attach these walls across here as well Come all the way around on all of these sides and we’re going to texture these walls too so when I’ve done all of that I will be back and there we have textured walls on both the large and the small cuboids there now what we’re gonna Do is we’re gonna switch it up to some wood because we’re gonna put an outer area here now against these blocks not these posts here but against these blocks we’re gonna create an inner kind of platform against this world at the front we know it’s the front because we Put these two posts down here and that’s why we didn’t have to worry too much about the detailing on that bit because it’s gonna get covered up by those and then get ourselves a little bit of oak Sturridge we’re gonna come across one two three leave a gap and then we’re Gonna put three more and we’re gonna get three more and put those in like that we then get another post and shove that there we want to bring also oak stairs around upside down on that side and coming around here upside down on that side that’s going to Create our front porch now what we can do is we can raise these up one and we can come on top and we can punch out our door this is where our door is going to be replace that piece of cobble with a bit of wood and then inside here we’re Going to replace the entirety of this floor with oak planks we’re going to try and texture this up again in a moment though but once we’ve got this all oak plank tip out we can start to get a little bit of detail in we’re nearly there now like that and then what we’re Also going to do is we’re going to punch through to this area and create a continuous floor through here again with the same oak planks and then what we’re going to do is we’re gonna get some strips oak log and we’re gonna very randomly place up stripped out of log Facing in different directions if you wanted to you could even put it up like that but I actually personally I prefer it just to be on the side I’m just literally randomly putting it anywhere I’m not even thinking about where it’s going at the moment doesn’t matter if That connect up doesn’t matter if they’re apart from everything just make it so it’s a little bit interesting and then coming through onto this platform do exactly the same just put a little bit of texture in just to give a bit of a warm feeling like that you can see What we’ve got now is a platform that has got two different temperatures and that makes it just a little bit more interesting to look at what we’re now going to do is punch through some windows I’m going to put window there a window there and window there notice I’m Making relatively small windows that are too high we’re also going to pop a window in I think there that work and then we’re gonna do a larger window here like that let me just check that on the other side yeah that works fine we’re going to do that and then we’re Going to get a door simply so as we know exactly where our door is going to live and we’re going to pop a door from the inside facing outwards like that I’m then going to put my glass I’m using gray stained glass you don’t have to whatever you’d like and I’m just gonna Paint up all of the holes that we created for the windows otherwise I didn’t forget in there we go so now we’ve got the structure of the house it’s a very boring looking square at the moment but we’re going to make it more interesting what I’m gonna do now is Just plan out the roof and I’m gonna use two different wood textures for this roof I think normally I would trim off in stone but this is a farmer’s house and I felt that perhaps it would be nicer to actually trim it in a different Type of wood so we’re gonna have a stair and then an upside down stair and then we’re gonna have planks these are spruce and then a stair then an upside down stair and then a plank and I’m just going to put a stair in there hope Nothing that’s the middle yes it is so we’re gonna bring a plank in there stair upside down stair a plank and ice there and I’m not going to do anything in the middle of that just yet because I’m gonna get busy on this roof now in the Same direction and there was a reason for that which I’ll show you in a moment we’re gonna go stair upside down stair and the same here stair upside down stair and then again plank plank stair stair upside down stair on both sides now I’m not going to do any more on that Part just yet because what we are gonna do now is we’re gonna just bring in a shape like this reason being we’re gonna turn this into a fireplace so I’m just gonna start to build in a bit of a chimney shape nothing more than the shape of the chimney at the moment Because at the moment that I die basically don’t quite know how it is going to look but the actual chimney shape itself is going to come up here and it’s going to continue up like that so kind of like that that will probably come up a little bit further And I worry about the rest of the structure in just a moment but at least now I’ve got the chimney shape that I’m gonna be putting in there I can now continue with my roof on the same side here and we’ll go all the way to the top On this one so we’ve got stair upside down stair planks stair upside down stair planks and then stair upside down stair and then we’re gonna curve it off to I believe that being the middle like that yep so we’re going to do that again on the same side stair upside down stair Blank stare upside down stair blank stare upside down stare stare upside-down stare and stare and that should theoretically be symmetrical you notice it’s a bit more of a bell shape rather than straight up and down or pointy that’s because it’s a farmer’s house I’m trying to make it look semi Barn like because well farmers they’re like barns don’t they and that’s my theory anyway and then we’re going to get some oak stairs and we’re gonna just change up the color with oak stairs like that so you can see there we’ve got that different color and then where we’ve got Planks obviously we need to match up with stairs and again with more stairs here that’s plank that will come across the top there that’ll become a plank and then I’m just going to finish this roof off like that and I’ll be back when I’m done – relatively straight flat roofs that Look more or less the same they definitely look like they’re in keeping with each other but you’re going to do a couple of things to make them more interesting and we’re gonna rough them up by replacing again random steps on the roofs with some blocks and what that Gives you can see here once I’ve finished is just a slightly more rough weathered look in that roof you can see like that just looks a little bit more interesting I’m gonna do that on all of them then what we’re gonna do on the ends we’re gonna get upside down step There and then I’m going to put a temporary block there and then I’m gonna bring out a spruce log to there I’m gonna remove that temporary block and we can bring the spruce log all the way along to the side of it right there you can see the spruce logs sticking out Quite nicely there we’re going to repeat the same process here upside down we’re gonna get in a temporary block behind and underneath that we’re gonna bring in a spruce log there and then we’re gonna get rid of the temporary block and run that spruce log all the way along so it Comes out the other side like that and then again put another upside down and spruce of step there now we’re gonna add some extra detail it’s not going to be flat like that I’m considering bringing it out one I’m not sure if it’s gonna work or not or I might do something Different and then on top here we’re gonna bring oak planks all the way along similarly on this roof here oak planks all the way along then we’re gonna just augment that by sticking a step and an upside down step there step up side down step there then we’re Gonna get some oak slabs and on this long roof we’re gonna go one two three and on the short roof we’re going to go one two just to give a little bit of a accentuation to the shape of that roof we’re going to do the same on this side One and two and then Oaks lab one two and three if I actually get it there there you go so that makes it look just again a little bit more interesting I’m going to finish roughing up these roofs the roofs now more or less complete we need to attack these fascias now what We’re going to do is we’re going to go again level with these logs and we’re just going to fill in using some strips oak it’s a very oaky spruce II build and all the way along until we are complete like that do that on here as well coming All the way along and that should hide out any open area that we’ve got we’re going to detail these up in a moment you can see we’ve got that completely closed off now and if we look at from the outside that end looks again very flat But at least it is complete time to start just a little bit of detailing going on around the outside first off I need to do something with this chimney because it looks really dull being all that cobblestone just doesn’t work at all for me so what we’re going to do is We’re just gonna place in a little bit of step and also put some upside down step in here as well that will give some nice increased texture and step there and then bring in ill again a little bit of smooth stone there and perhaps there too that gives It a little bit more of an interesting look or like a cobblestone step actually let’s get myself a cobblestone step there we go and we can shove a cobble step in there a cobble step in there and I think that is okay I am also going to Bring this up just one more level that chimney believe it or not is probably now sorted we’re now going to get some extra detail and a little bit more depth on the outside of the house I’ve got a real problem with the level of depth up We’ve got as you can probably imagine so we’re going to get logs on the outside facing upwards of all of these legs including these ones coming around here so that starts to create a little bit more depth make sure they’re facing upwards like that that’s perfect and Then on top of them we’re gonna put a spruce step like this on all of them and there and then what we can also do is we can get some other brick stairs here which can add just on the larger the larger legs not these ones here we can Add a little bit of extra support with these snow steps too so that gives us a nice amount of depth beginning to come through on that site there we’re then going to get the Spruce stairs again and we’re going to come underneath and we’re going to underpin these grooves On all sides like this under there and under there there and there we’re gonna change up this slightly odd-looking thing here in just a moment under there and under there is that the last one yes it was and then we’re gonna get the Spruce slaw our planks and we’re Going to replace these here so as they look like they’re properly supported otherwise though it’s going to look a little bit disjointed we’re gonna add some details to that in just a moment do I think on there yes I do that’s better so you can see we’re Starting to get some substance to the outside of this house then on this side here we’re going to place every other a slab running along the top half of that beam and then we’re gonna get a trapdoor and we’re gonna put it on the top there So you can see we’ve got a bit of a crenellations going on around about that we’re going to put some more detail in there and we’re also getting a stone a button I’m gonna place a stone button on these struts here and here we’re gonna place them on this side as well there And they’re obviously not on these because they’re covered up and coming around we can then place them on that one and that one’s already done so the detail you can see is starting to come through we’re then also gonna get some upside down sprue steps and on these Windows we’re going to start to do some window dressing and upside down step there we’re gonna get spruced trap doors on either side like that and then spruce trapdoors going across the top similarly here we’re gonna get all the way across including the pillar in the middle we’re gonna get spruced trapdoors On the outer edge Boosh trapdoors going all the way across and then spruce fencing to go down the middle to act as a support just going to complete all the windows and the rest of that detail windows are now dressed I’ve also added a window into the front end Here and similarly a much smaller one at the other side I’m now going to put on top of these logs I’ve decided I’m not going to stick them out any further I’m just gonna shove a trapdoor on the end there like that you can see there’s the small window I think that adds Sufficient extra detail for us to be able to carry on and then going to grab a spruce of fence I’m gonna bring spruce fence around here and around there and around there I’m then gonna pop one there there and there because what we’re not gonna do is we’re Gonna try and create ourselves a bit of a porch on this side and I’m gonna do this with summer camp fires starting on this one not this end one here but this one here we’re gonna put a campfire there a campfire there and a campfire there so it’s coming out three and then We’re just going to put a rope all the way along so as it goes to the same side here we’re then going to connect up our fence posts one two one two and one two then we’re gonna get a splash water potion and we’re gonna put the fires out Now you can use water buckets here as well by emptying out the water bucket and then collecting the water back off of it again but I find given that I’m in creative splash water works really well and actually in survival it’s not that hard either you can see you’ve got a Really nice overhang there with a porch way with a kind of wooden detail that you can’t achieve in any other way other than using a campfire I’ve put three lanterns under there just to keep that looking all nice and cozy and why I think I might do I’m just gonna check This to see what this looks like I’m going to change the top and the bottom posts for cobblestones just replace that cobblestone wall there and how does that look I actually think that looks much nicer so we’re gonna go with that we’re now going to go inside because we need To do something with this don’t we this poor fella has got nowhere to live right first off let’s take out those two and of those two we need to make those upside-down steps there and there and then I need to bring in a campfire and pop in the campfire there and there but At least now we’ve got an area for him to be able to keep himself warm I’m gonna put an upside-down step there upside-down step there and then gonna get a slab there I’m gonna put an item frame right on top of that slab I’m gonna get a flower pot I’m gonna put a Flower pot there I’m gonna put a lantern there and I’m gonna get a slab of cooked meat I’m gonna put it in that I’m also gonna get a flower and pop it in that flower pot I think that is a good place to start either needs somewhere to it And this is where I’m going to use my dark oak stairs but dark oak stairs there anything got somewhere he can sit and eat his dinner that’s quite nice I’m also going to get some trapdoors across here and similarly across here I think we’re gonna put in a little bit of Storage was chests those chess so we’re gonna put storage in there there there and similarly there there and there I think that’s plenty of storage right there and then what we’re also gonna do is dangle some more lanterns on this exposed beam at the top we’re going to Pop one there and one there so there’s light coming down and that lights up that entire area I think we’ve got plenty of light going on that’s perfect I now think I’m gonna put in a second level because we’ve not got enough room here to be able to do everything that we Want so I’m gonna come on and just pop a spruce state I think there then some spruce planks there and then I’m gonna do upside-down steps and steps until I get to the level this log that’s brilliant and I’m now going to slap out this entire floor because I think a Fairly basic upstairs is probably necessary that looks fab I’m now gonna get some spruce logs and I’m gonna beam up here and here and we’re gonna just create some beams that go up to the top take out that take out that that there that there that there that there and one There also and then going to bring in some steps or even fence and pop that there there and there let’s place a trap door there and there i works quite nicely we’re going to get lantern on that one that one and yep that’s on the middle that works Perfectly we’re gonna get a bed and we’re gonna pop a bed there and there we’re gonna get some basic storage all he’s gonna have here I think is some fairly basic storage nothing more than that probably we’re then going to pop ourselves I think they’re up another bit Of storage there let’s get a painting just to break up that wall that works nicely I’m gonna get trap doors on either side of that let’s come across there as well and another paints in there that I reckon is probably enough let’s pop some carpet on It I thought I’d use some carpet so let’s just carpet up this floor so it’s nice when he gets you some feet on the carpet when he gets out of bed in the morning and I don’t think we need to do anything more with that area at all Wonderful just maybe put another paint in there I think that’s plenty just coming down the steps and I wonder if that might be a little dark there so I’m just going to pop a lantern right there now we can think about what it is we’re gonna do next let’s separate these two Areas a little so if I put trapdoors there four levels of trapdoor that then also means that these aren’t gonna meet up doesn’t it so if i flap those open like that I need to close that up all the way there in fact what I might do Now is just close up this entire roof so it is even that’s great I’m just going to flap this up and that will give us just a little bit of a room separation there a little bit of privacy going into that but I’m now also going to I’m going To pop that over there like that I’m gonna put that there like that place a flowerpot there and then we’re gonna get some upside down steps and we’re gonna place upside down steps under all of those windows and there we’re also going to get some additional storage there There there there and the same on the other side so it’s got stacks of storage this fella also going to get a crafting table and place a crafting table right in the middle of that a lump if I lumber there and I’m there flap up there flowerpot there and I Think lump there as well that’s going to give us a fair amount of light in this area too so then we’re going to get into these we’re just going to pop some flowers let’s just change that one up a little bit and pop that like that I Think we’d probably okay there let’s get ourself a stone button add a little bit of detail onto here yeah and here I just looks just a little bit more nice and yeah I think we’re going to create I’m just a little minimal archway there and there and a might actually place the Trap door there like that that works quite nicely what I’m now also going to do is put some more paintings up so I’ve now got my paints in I need to put a blocker block there and there because I only want the painting to go in the Middle there like that that’s fine and then also we could probably put a paint in there above there and maybe if we just put a block there I can grab another painting and pop it there like that I think that is plenty we then can get ourselves a composter which is really important Let’s pop a composter in there a composter in there there I don’t think we want to put a composter anywhere here and then get a little bit of bush and just make it ever so slightly greener and more interesting inside this chaps house but I’m going to put a composter There and go up there so he’s now got a nice area in which he can live I don’t think we want to add too much more to this because you can overdo it he’s got somewhere to sit and eat he’s got somewhere here to do a little bit of Crafting he’s got plenty of storage the one thing he’s not got any of actually is a furnace so let’s just pop a furnace in I think we’re going to place the furnace there I think that is plenty the house is pretty much done we’ve had it a few Little bushes and some flowers we put some things onto the window sills in pots and just a couple of lanterns just unlike the place up we’ve got left to do now is do this chimney I’m going to raise that one more level I’m gonna put A campfire on top and I’m gonna put a trapdoor on each of the four sides like this flap them up and I think that works as the perfect chimney finish to this particular house now obviously this is just a house it’s got no farmland it needs to be in a Farmland and we have our first villager house with its surrounding area this is the start of our brand new town and I think this has come out absolutely beautifully the house only small it’s a farmer for goodness sake they don’t have a big old house but what they do have is A big plot of land we’ve got a multi-level farm going on here with some haystacks going up we’ve got some scarecrows they’re using jack-o’-lanterns we’ve got a melon patch we’ve got all the other crops underneath that crush there and we’ve got a chicken coop a sheep pen and for some reason the Wandering tribe had got on with a sheep what can I tell you a wandering comment don’t don’t buy the dies off of him just to change your colour pinky if you bought the die off of him you’re a fool also we’ve got the pigs and the cows with their various water and food Troughs I think it’s worked beautifully this is going to be slightly outside the town the town will continue out along these roads and start to come together towards a town center and we’ll start to work that over the coming weeks and episodes now don’t forget as a patron of Redstone or above you have access to not only this world download
