Hello everyone my name is pixel wrist and today I’m going to show you how to build this one chunk witch hunt inspired by the Slavic folklore of Baba Yaga the hut is supported by two chicken legs perfect for having it stand out in the shallow waters of a swamp or a Jungle lake the interior is packed with detail and best of all it fits within a single chunk of 16 by 16 blocks but the sake of this tutorial we’re going to start by carving out a 14 by 14 space for water although if you’re building in A survival world you can just level out the terrain so your water is one block deep count four blocks in from the front of your pool and one block from the left-hand edge and we’ll start this leg by placing a quartz they’re attached to micaceous stairs facing inwards and Going around a corner then bring out the longest central toe using planks at a quart stair to the tip then mirror the curved toe on the other side add three planks across the back like so then bring out another plank and a stair finishing the back claw with a quartz Slab place a stair and a plank on top of the central toe surround this back block with stairs and then build a four block tall leg out of acacia planks adding two stairs to the front to create a joint the other leg is going to be raised Above the water so use some scaffolding blocks to come up a block an amp two blocks then place an inverted quartz there on the other side like so leave one block gap and come forward a block for the middle claw then continue the scaffolding across for the outside Claw if you’re happy with how these are placed get rid of the scaffolding and add some acacia slabs to the top of each of these and a plank behind the central slab now add an inverted stare to the back of the outside slabs you might need To stack the slabs and break them down again then connect the stairs with planks to link these three toes build the foot up using a plank in the slab with stairs either side and then add two and a half blocks behind that and three blocks behind that finally add a slab on The back with a quartz slab below and your chicken feet are all done if you built these correctly the two legs should line up with five blocks of space between them taking some Oken jungle wood slabs we’re going to build a platform nine long and seven wide as Random as you can get it to look then add another road slabs to each edge leaving the corners empty follow that with a row of jungle logs and your platform should look like this each of the four corners is the same so follow this pattern put a spruce log on Each end of the jungle logs and add oak logs to the inside corner leave a two block high gap and place another log then make a window frame using spruce stairs add spruce logs at the same height and then dangle two more logs over the corner of the platform come Around the back and place two glass blocks as a window supported at either end by slabs back on the outside throw in three mossy cobblestone walls and five oak fences like so and for a finishing touch cover the ends of the jungle Logs with wooden trapdoors pause The video if you need to study this design because you’ll be building the other three corners exactly the same way once those are done we’ll start on the walls the shorter edges should now have a five block gap between the window frames and we’ll fill in the central 3×3 with a few Different green blocks set one block back from the edge I’m using green and lime stained clay along with green concrete concrete powder and wool we’ll fill in the blocks either side of that with oak stairs and logs connecting them across the top with two more logs and a Spruce tear then rounding off the frame with spruce tears in the corners the green blocks on the other sides don’t have to match but the frame should be the same the back in front of the build should have a 7 block gap so we’ll put a Jungle door in the middle one block back from the jungle log and surround it with a patchwork of different textured blocks mostly logs and stairs but we’ll cover some with trapdoors and from an ax piston and a note block frame this on either side with stairs and logs just Like on the short sides and connect the frame the same way 3 spruce tears this time instead of just one the back wall will be similar but it doesn’t need a doorway and will vary the textures even more this time throwing in sticky pistons if you want a more organic a Slimy effect this is after all a witch’s Hut now that the walls are closed off we’ll move on to the roof which I decided to make into a giant witches hat using black wool black concrete and the occasional coal block start the brim slightly lower on one side so the whole Thing can look like it’s at an angle then come up one block and stick to the outline of your build only coming one block out from the walls once that’s done fill in the next layer one block back from that adding a bit more randomness into the shape with a key Blocks of sticking up words for texture start to build the Hat higher on the right than on the left and we’ll build it up to a point which curves over towards the left-hand side it’s difficult to provide a block-by-block tutorial for this part so I would recommend trying this out in creative or Downloading the structure file for this build from the link in the video description so you can take a closer look at how I built it while you’re there consider checking out my patreon page support forum patreon is what allows me to spend time making these tutorials and your donation will only rewards Including access to my patrons only minecraft server when you’re done the Hat should look something like this don’t be afraid to edit to the shape a little take a few steps back and see how it looks then adjust anything you think looks weird trial and error is really Important for becoming a better builder we can add some detail to the front of the hats to make it look more like a Minecraft witches had they have this emblem which looks like an eye of ender will emulate that with prismarine green wool and green stained clay adding a few More blocks of our hat material to help it blend into the structure of the Hat now for the interior and this is where we can go crazy with the detail basically the more cluttered this place is going to look the better we’ll start with 2 irregular wooden beams a mixture Of oak and spruce will work here bangle fences and iron bars from those so you can hang stuff from the rafters drop an anvil through an armor stand and you’ll have a little statue to put your alight right on like a witch’s cloak or maybe Add a pumpkin or a wither skull so that it becomes an odd looking creature naturally you’ll want brewing supplies in here so we’ll throw a cauldron over here next to a crafting table and a brewing stand lighting could be provided by hanging jack-o’-lanterns or you could use redstone torches if you want a Little bit more spooky atmosphere levers buttons and tripwire hooks will look good as spots to hang herbes and charms will cover the floor especially those acacia blocks with a patchy green and grey carpet clouds and stairs can go around the room as shelves and there are all kinds of objects you could display Their items in frames plants in pots redstone and so forth if there’s a dimly lit corner you could even grow some mushrooms if the witch does some trading in here you could set up a kind of informal shop counter just to divide the room up a bit placing some doors against the walls Will make it look like there are cupboards even if there isn’t room your storage can go up on the walls away from the prying fingers of visitors and even a few mob heads around the room could be a warning to keep your hands off the merchandise the witch will lead an Enchanting table of course and a few bookshelves along with an enderchest both for practical use and for the spooky particle effects if you plan to use this house as a base you could always add slabs between the beams and build a ladder up to the second floor Inside the head if not maybe throw in a few slabs anyway to suggest there is some structure up there in the darkness paintings and potions and frames will also add some good detail and no self-respecting witch could call their house complete without a few cobwebs here and there back on the outside will Add the finishing touches which of course means leaves dangle these from the front back inside of the house to give it an overgrown character and imagine them swinging from side to side as the house takes its awkward steps since we’re building this on a one chunk block we can also terraform the ground Around it throwing in some pods all soul sand cools dirt and mycelium to break up the grass add a few lily pads to what remains of the water and grow mushrooms and other plants around the rest of the plot you might even want to add a melon Farm for brewing purposes or a pumpkin patch the extra spooks thanks for watching this one chunk tutorial which was made possible with the support of my awesome community of patrons you can head to patreon.com slash pixel risk to donate and get rewards
