Minecraft Xbox – Skyblock Map – Grow Please Sugar – Part 6

Hello this is stampylongnose and welcome to a minecraft let’s play video this is another video doing the sky islands challenge we’re on part number six i think it is uh in the last episode we were set the challenge of uh building a farm to try and get five pumpkins uh

No five melons sorry i can’t quite confuse last video as well uh five pieces of wheat and five pieces of sugar cane um we’re almost there we got the melons we got the wheat and all i’m doing is waiting for the sugarcane and oh look looks like one’s grown there so i think

We just need uh one more piece of sugarcane we need five and yeah we got four so once that sugarcane grows um then we can move on to the next challenge and at the end of the last video well like just after the video um amy actually came over and just sort of

Threw us some sugar cane and food and uh i popped down a sign saying uh i don’t want to cheat and actually through the the sugar cane there off the side of the sky island because i didn’t want to like be getting given extra things and even

If like like everyone’s getting given it as well then like i know it kind of ruins the point of you struggling with your resources and trying to do it as effectively as possible if you just sort of sometimes get given stuff so um because of that we now gotta wait around

For a little bit so basically as soon as one of those pieces of sugarcane grows uh then we’re done we’re finished with that challenge and then it’s uh on to the next one or whatever uh that challenge will be um if you want a quick recap oh it’s done

It’s done forget recaps if you want to recap go back and watch the bloody videos don’t be lazy um yeah if you want to recap uh basically the the first video uh we built um uh this uh that pool that lake then we built a house then we went fishing then

We built a mob spawner then we built the farm and then uh this is us uh here now with uh everything that we’ve built and uh yeah so we’re now up to date so i got five sugar cane 15 million slices 14 wii and that’s that’s all we needed so um

Let’s just go and send a message uh to amy while lee is just making sure that the door is working properly um yeah that was me just sending a message saying that um i didn’t want her to give us extra things because i thought it

Kind of ruined it a bit uh so yeah uh finished and lee yes that door definitely does work you don’t have to keep checking uh finished okay so yeah there’s the farm uh successfully done we’ve got everything that we needed to get and yeah so on to

The next challenge whatever that will be so now um amy will fly over and make sure that um we have actually finished and i’m not just lying and then yeah we’ll be on to the next challenge you might as well uh while we’re here gather these melons just so um

We’ve got something to eat in case we get hungry there you go lee would you like a melon there you go did i see your melon oh here’s amy here’s amy if you come over here uh in the chest um over here amy amy amy this way amy look

I want to prove it oh she’s putting down a sign i think she might be uh setting the next challenge in a sign rather than um sending it as a message over xbox and while that’s going i might as well put down uh some more trees so they can

Start growing because we’re always running out of wood here and uh also just getting some more cobblestone you know just the basic building materials and as soon as i don’t think she was actually even checking that we we had the stuff i’m gonna go and replant some

Of that sugar cane just so that can be just growing in case we need it later you know in case she says quick make a bookshelf or something that way we’ve got sugar cane already growing um what does it say uh make 10 bookcases

Oh how did i know how did i guess just in case she asked us to make a bookshelf when i come over here she says make 10 bookshelves okay let’s do it listen let’s get this dirt and let’s get all of the uh the sugar cane growing because to make

Books you need paper and to make paper you need sugarcane so let’s get as much sugarcane uh growing as we can and then the other thing we need is wood and to be honest we probably got like enough wood already like i don’t think we actually need any more wood uh but i

Might as well keep gathering it because i’m sure uh later on we’re gonna need it um i don’t know i suppose like oh she let a zombie out did she go and open the door and let a zombie out did she not think that this challenge is hard enough as it

Is oh and lee’s got a stone sword you need to protect me lee um or is there just not a torch like over there enough let’s go let’s go down and put down a few more torches and oh no the tree’s burning the tree’s burning again put out

The tree put out the tree having lava up here is not a good idea and we have no choice though and i don’t even have an axe um okay let’s go cut these down and it’s not another massive tree is it no it’s not yeah we keep getting those those you

Know those huge trees with loads of branches and they take absolutely ages to get rid of so um okay looks like lee’s cutting that down i’m gonna make myself a uh stone uh pickaxe just so i can gather the cobblestone a bit more and uh yeah i think over here we got a

Chest full of wood which lee gathered while um like he spent pretty much the last few videos like just cutting down trees so um i know is he just falling off again why does he keep falling off he keeps going to get rid of the trees and walking across and just falling off

I don’t know if he’s lagging or like just clumsy but yeah hopefully he didn’t have too many materials on him because that would suck actually that’s just reminding me i might dump uh all of the stuff that i don’t need uh in here just so if i do fall then it’s not

That big of a loss um yeah i mean i don’t really need any i mean i take a bit of food on me i take a sword and uh yeah i think that this is pretty much all i need for now just my food and stuff and um yes

Sorry it’s just funny the way that lee just keeps dying over and over again i mean i’ve died once i have i died once so i didn’t die i fell off once i fell down to the bottom and had to climb back up but that’s that’s the worst that

Happened um okay i guess we need to get more dirt just to um just so we can have more sugarcane growing because i mean all we’re going to be doing is waiting for sugarcane to grow now but i kind of i don’t really want to disassemble this but i guess i’m

Going to have to um i’m just going to put like a a block of wood just in the middle here uh just to get rid of that water source and then um yeah i might as well gather these these last few melons i want to get the melon

Seeds as well actually no to get melon seeds you just need melon slices so we’re not even going to run out of them uh so yeah i’m just going to get some of this dirt so we can make a proper sugarcane farm and get loads of sugarcane growing at the same time just

To speed up the whole process you know otherwise uh this will take ages so i might as well take all of this dirt because we don’t need it anymore uh we’ve already finished the farming challenge i don’t know one bit fell down and i know that probably doesn’t seem

Like much just one bit of dirt but there is so precious probably the most precious thing here like i really don’t want to waste it it’s like one of the few materials we’re like building out of that we can’t get any more of like once all our dirt’s gone that’s all the

Dirt gone and then we can’t do anything so i’m just gonna uh fill in this all here with this actually might be a good time to try and get rid of all of the um all of the streams of water we have going as well while we’re here and we

Should probably block that lava off um if i get some cobblestone i’m gonna get some more cobblestone i’m gonna block off that lava just so there’s uh no chance any of us are going to fall into it oh and he got rid of the wrong block there so yeah if i just um

Do do that the lava will stay there it’s still underneath but that way there’s less chance of any of us actually uh falling into it and burning ourselves which could ruin our day there we go this feels this feels a little bit safer now don’t you think it just feels

Like there’s a little less chance of us getting burnt alive i kind of like this little area that we’ve built up here it’s just i don’t know it’s just quite nice and cozy with like the stuff that we built and look there’s a zombie that’s where the zombies are spawning they’re spawning on

The roof over there and um okay that’s what i was gonna do that’s what i was gonna do before i got sidetracked again i was gonna go and make a bunch of torches with this charcoal and uh start spreading some of them around so uh yeah let’s let’s do that um

Where are torches there we go let’s make as many as we can there we go 16 that’s probably more than what i need so i’m just going to put these all over the place just so everything’s properly lit up and then hopefully googlies won’t keep spawning yeah you guys can stay in

There don’t worry i’m not gonna i’m not gonna touch you um i just need to kill uh mr zombie that’s up here where is he i can see you mate i’m gonna push him off the edge go on i hope you’re not afraid of height zombies because you’re

Going down am i going to kill him before he gets off there we go his body fell down at least that’s good at least we don’t have to make a grave for him yeah if i just put a few torches up here uh this should be enough to stop googly

Spawning up there because i mean potentially a creeper could spawn up here come over and just blow up everything and then then like everything would go wrong and unfortunately people seem to still be lagging out the game and joining back in and stuff but oh well that’s just something that we’re

Gonna have to deal with i’m afraid um okay well we’ve got a bit more wood here from another tree and i mean this one is just basically a case of of just waiting for the sugar cane to grow how many do you need to make 10. that is quite a lot

That is quite a lot of bookshelves to make i mean normally it’s more of a drain on wood rather than sugar cane because normally like like in your house normally you don’t really care that much about running out of sugarcane and i’m just going to gather these bits so i can plant the

Rest down uh yeah i mean i mean i think most of this video is going to be waiting for grass to grow um this has probably been the most boring series ever i had a an episode fishing an episode cooking an episode farming now we have an episode literally

Waiting for plants to grow so we can make some books how exciting um oh well i’m still enjoying it and i’m sure there’s a few of you that are enjoying this series and if you want to do something like this i mean it’s so easy like to build something like this like

Doesn’t take much time at all because i mean all you need to do is build like the little platforms and then and then you’re set you just need to be imaginative and come up with like the challenges and stuff like amy has and yeah i mean i’m loving it so far and

Look there we go there’s our first book our first book we’re nearly there i’m going to actually look at uh bookshelves on here and see what we actually need um free books per bookshelf and then we just need a load of wood as well but wood’s not the problem i’m pretty sure

We’ve got enough wood as it is i’m going gonna throw some apples to lee as well so i’m not sure how much food he’s got on him i don’t want him to to run out and get all hungry so yeah all we need is to wait

For the the sugar cane to grow i guess and here we go things are going a little bit quicker now um i know i can’t really gather up any more dirt to do more of these i can do these last two bits here there we go so hopefully all this stuff will grow

Quite quickly and then and then we’ll be golden and then we can we can make ourselves some bookshelves um that’s a bit of a weird random challenge isn’t it it’s quite like a a random item for us to have to try and build more of

It just made me laugh that was like oh i bet she’s going to tell us to make bookshelves now and then i go over there and she says make 10 bookcases i was like am i psychic how did i guess that i promise you i’m not cheating i’m not

Speaking to amy in between videos and asking what’s coming next i was just uh really lucky then i guess um okay so uh i guess i’m just gonna stay here gathering more cobblestone while i wait for the sugar cane to grow at least here i can see like as soon as some does

Grow and like i don’t have to wait for it all to like grow fully because i mean if it comes down to it to speed things up i can use like uh the bottom row and it looks like lee’s doing exactly the same just sort of standing there like

Waiting for it to grow there’s there’s not much else to do um i might make myself like a full set of stone tools while i’m here and then um i might start decorating the house a bit more i might sort out the roof scene as

Lee ruined it and then like i don’t know do a pattern on the wall i don’t know just just faff around and like work towards things i don’t know maybe we could get bonus points maybe if we finish at about the same time we’ll get bonus points if the things we did looks

Prettier i don’t know that would be funny i’m just waiting for like the dangerous challenge i reckon later on there’s going to be something to do with like get 10 pieces of like gun powder and five bones or something so like we’re gonna have to go and fight the googlies

Like i mean it sounds dangerous and we’ll probably die and it will go wrong but it’ll probably be quite fun as well i hope there is some sort of challenge like that some challenge that doesn’t involve waiting for things to grow really slowly might excite things up a little bit but

Oh well as i said i am still enjoying it and i need to have some food as well because my health isn’t going up like at all like ever uh during this let’s play okay well i got a bit more cobblestone um yeah i might sort out the roof a bit

I don’t know if i can be bothered though i mean it really just doesn’t matter like our house works fine um there we go we got we got a few bits of sugarcane growing there i mean i could try and gather up some of this stuff i mean we

Wasted dirt there by building it all like all this over it we didn’t think back then but well i didn’t think back then i’m sure lee probably did but uh yeah so i mean we just gotta wait for it to grow i mean what i might actually do

And so we don’t waste too much time i might actually stop recording now wait for it to grow because that’s literally all we’re doing and then uh join back in the video uh once we’ve got nearly enough uh sugarcane uh to make the bookshelves um otherwise i think that

This series might drag a little like a little bit too much so yeah i’m just gonna cut ahead in the video now and i’ll be back very shortly bye okay well i’ve waited around for a little while and by a little while i mean like probably about 20 minutes from when i

Said i’m going to cut ahead probably about 20 minutes later as now i went downstairs and i made a cup of tea and i got some biscuits so sorry you’re gonna hear me munching and going every now and then but i think i need a

Cup of tea i just arrest my voice for a bit i while doing that lee was busy and put fences round everywhere because we had so much wood anyway and the place is probably a little bit safer and we’ve got quite a lot of sugar cane and um i

Also put torches behind them all uh so they can grow throughout the night so they hopefully grew quicker and i also got rid of all like the random streams in the water uh for this bit anyway just because they were annoying me there’s no real reason for that so yeah basically

Um i sort of joined into the party with lee and we had a chat and um it was quite nice because i’ve been with him this whole time and oh hank blew up i have been with him this whole time and we haven’t spoke to each other at all so

Um it was nice to kind of talk about things that we’ve done and like laughing about the fact he keeps falling off and all this sort of stuff and so hopefully now though um i have enough uh sugarcane to make the bookshelves i’m not sure if

I do i got a strong inkling that i’ll not quite have enough so we need to make ten and uh how many how many have we got is there any in here um okay we’ve got four there oh and there’s eighteen sugarcane in there oh actually

I’m pretty sure we might have enough now actually so yeah i think we’re we should just about be done then we just need to decide where to place them but yeah it was basically just a case of waiting for all the sugarcane to grow which took a very long time so i’m kind

Of glad i went downstairs and made a cup of tea and all sorts of stuff um have i got enough wood on me i got quite a lot this should be enough uh if not there’s plenty more outside uh so yeah let’s go and make it oh i can make nine no no

No i can only make nine oh here we go here we go there’s one more piece of one more piece of sugarcane here this is all i need i think i think yeah i think this is all i needed i was so scared then that i was just not going to have enough

And the final bookshelf should just be about to be made i need to make a book uh you need to make that into paper then make a book and then no no i still need two more books no no i can’t believe i can’t believe we

Made nine and we need to make ten luckily one two three four five six seven eight nine that’s not enough it’s not good lee it’s not good not enough it looks like he’s nice and giving them back to me um yeah so we just need to

Wait sorry um i did most of the waiting outside the video we only need to make two more books than we’d done uh this was amy writing down oh this is some sign she wrote she said only three more challenges to go uh i’m not it’s like

I’m not sure if she’s including this one like are there three more or are there two more after this one and then she asked if we were nearly done yet and there’s about ten minutes and we just said no um uh how many to go uh one i need one more

To go i don’t know when she wrote that uh but yeah one more left amy even though you can’t hear me uh so yeah we just need to just need to wait just that little bit longer um so yeah i mean as you can see we’ve

Decorated the place a bit nicer now it’s just uh better with fences and there’s less chance of us falling off i think that lee basically built fences everywhere because he falls off every five minutes and he didn’t want her anymore and he left the gate open we don’t want any unexpected visitors and

Come on sugarcane grows anything that you could do to make sugarcane grow quicker some people say that if you talk to plants and animals and stuff well mainly just plants not animals but if you talk to plants that they grow quicker and like if you like play the music it makes them grow

Quicker and stuff and um it’s a load of rubbish plants can’t hear but there’s a lot of um like people that like enter like things into like the biggest marrow contest things like that that like talk to their plants to try and make them grow quicker so maybe if i talk to the

Sugarcane uh they’ll be able to grow a bit faster so um this is gonna be a bit weird isn’t it um hey mr sugarcane um i think you look great i mean you’re very nice size as you are you look very good but did you uh

Did you ever think about maybe getting a bit getting a bit taller you know i mean don’t get me wrong you look absolutely lovely you seriously you look you look first class you do but why don’t you try just just just for the same when you can

Go back if you don’t want it why don’t you try going a little bit taller huh has everyone ever said that you might look you might look a little bit nicer taller i mean you’re very pretty as it is but why am i not go a bit look look at him

Look at that guy down there look he’s got taller doesn’t he look grand isn’t that a lovely look don’t you think you would suit that look i think you would i think you would look great here’s a little bit of water to help you grow because it’s raining yet again

Tell you what tell you what if you grow if you grow like you know like that i want you to i’ll give you a melon yeah if you grow i’ll give you a melon no i give i give you two melons i give you 11. i give you 11 slices of melon

Sorry i mean 10 slices of melon i’ll give you nine slices of lemon i give you eight slices of melon did i keep saying lemon there keep getting confused look at him look all your friends are growing look him down there he’s grown the guy over here he’s grown you know like it’s

Because of peer pressure you should want to grow all the cool kids are growing all of the cool sugar canes they’re growing up to why don’t you grow up tall i don’t know why i’ve only become attached to this one look even your neighbor’s growing you can’t like have

Your neighbor looking better than you can you you’ve got to be better than your neighbor i’ve just thought of something i’ve just thought of how much of a pillock i am like it doesn’t matter now i could have just taken the bottom row of sugarcane like we didn’t need

Them anymore and i’ll talk to you later mate no melon for you do not feed that sugarcane anyone right okay i think i think we’re done now um i think i might might as well put the bookshelves um in here like inside the house because otherwise all the books will get all

Soggy and wet and we don’t want that uh so yeah oh no i need i need to make one more book still i need one more piece of sugar cane when that’s it i know what to do i know what to do you know you boy

You had your chance you could have grown now you’re going to get turned into a book and i hope you suffer i hope you sub i hope you get a paper cut all right here we go finally can make the final bookshelf the final piece uh right where where are books uh paper

Book bookshelf sorted ten bloody bookshelves and let’s put them up here one two three four five six seven eight nine ten amy come here and check out how amazing i am amy come in here uh i don’t know what she’s doing i think she’s hovering i’m just going to

Send her a message and say that a weird ton well that took absolutely ages and you’re very lucky that i decided to to cut it out in the video because otherwise that could have taken a really long time um right in capital letters and with lots of exclamation marks

Done bloody done i’m gonna have some upside down exclamation marks what are they for what did they use for yeah dun dun dun dun dun dun dun dun dun happy days okay so yeah uh we finally completed this challenge of making 10 uh bookshelves or bookcases rather but yeah

We finally got it finished and now we’re ready for the next challenge and i’m gonna find out what the next challenge is in the next video because that’s the end of this video and i thank you very much for watching and i’ll see you later bye
