Minecraft YouTuber shows off his Wacky Desk setup

This is my entire youtube setup and i think the best way to show you is to build it one for the laptop and the monitor and another just like random things like i have a globe and a lamp it’s not the most important but i have a second monitor

I don’t know if you can see it that well but i kind of jerry-rigged some cables it works well one of my first online friends turned out to be only a couple cities away so he drove over he gave me this and i biked home with great monitor thank you brandy now the

Meat and potatoes of the whole thing it was the first big purchase i ever made two thousand dollars but it was well worth the investment this thing is a beast i can run premiere minecraft and my recording software all at the same time and get 100 frames a second

That’s insane the only downside is that i have to plug it in power monitor and mouse okay glow because who doesn’t like a globe a lamp for obvious reasons although it has paper on the front so it kind of makes the light a little softer external hard drive i really haven’t

Used this got it for christmas gum very important but not the reason you’re thinking you usually want the top of the monitor to be your eye level but for me it’s like down here raise the laptop insert the gum and bam we got it at eye level the duct tape circle

What’s it used for i’ll show you when i watch my videos for class i can’t get rid of this bottom bar thing and i don’t like looking at how far i am into the video i want to focus on the video so unravel bam you can’t see how much

Time you have on the video i use it quite a bit i hope my professor doesn’t mind that i showed him next this is going to sound silly i use a clamp to hold up my headphones these work totally fine and i love them but i don’t really want to hang them here

I don’t want to set them on the desk and they’ve no good way to hang them so i grabbed the clamp clamped it to the side of the desk and it works now for the thing the thing i assume most people are interested in it’s a pseudo tack i don’t know what

Model or anything it’s not the best microphone but what i really love is the boom arm the first mic i used was this headset and then my friend gave me one nicolas if you’re watching thank you the problem though was that i couldn’t really attach this

To anything it kind of just had to sit on a desk on like a little tripod i tried like duct taping it to the ceiling and hanging it with wires it didn’t work but i managed to like sort of jerry-rig it off to the side with like three clamps and a whole lot

Of duct tape then the channel blew up and i bought my own so i attach it with this thingy it’s one of the big reasons i actually have this bench behind all you gotta do is line up bam i’m still so stoked you can move this wherever you want

And it just stops then i also have this pop filter thing and it’s really great when i use my headset oh my gosh sounded terrible get yourself a pop filter and if you were curious kind of just bundle up all the wires so it can plug

In right there what else i have this mouse let’s say uh i don’t know it has a t so maybe it’s like trenton riad thermonuclear i have no idea what brand it is it’s pretty standard mouse oh yeah i actually don’t have a mouse pad i haven’t for like

A year when my brothers hear this they’re like what the heck you need a mouse pad it’s actually not too bad it’s kind of it’s pretty flat moves around fine i guess we need to plug stuff in it’s not great i don’t know if you can see that

But it’s pretty bad barely works so down here by the laptop power thingy we just kind of shove it in there it hangs off a little to the edge but you know we can plug stuff in now monitor and the lamp i don’t use the lamp that often

But it comes in handy the majority is in place but you might be wondering how do i record myself like in person this is my tripod okay technically it’s not my tripod now but i’ve used this thing so much i kind of just threw it together in an afternoon

Pure cardboard it works great though this goes to show you can jerry rig all sorts of stuff so that’s my life motto just jerry rig it also my middle name it’s fitting iphone charger this thing is actually kind of nice it fits in right behind my laptop i usually keep it

Right here along with my notes and flanders and stuff i got this for christmas it’s a planner probably used it for like a week i just keep it up there but i should probably throw it away my notes uh some notes about albania pretty cool stuff that usually goes like right there

Just for what i’m taking notes on class i also have this thing i really use this a lot when i was first making videos but now like it has some art in it now i kind of just use it for random school projects and whatnot i usually keep several notebooks up here just

Because i don’t want to move them in between my backpack and stuff oh speaking of my backpack yeah it usually just goes like right here when i get home from school that’s my bed this is my youtube setup everything’s like really easy i’m actually surprised i did a poll

Asking if you wanted to see a year on youtube or this desk tour set up you guys all wanted to see the desk tour i thought for sure it would be a one year recap that one will be coming soon though just give it a few days it’s like

Basically done editing this is an overview of the whole thing we got my bed right there the youtube setup oh and then over here this closet i recorded in this closet for like a solid two months this is what the outside looks like yep we got some nice mountains some fog

It snowed today and yesterday was like i swear 80 degrees please don’t be able to find my address with that that would be a little bit awkward i guess i already told you my middle name though you’re looking for another great video this one right here and the launcher it’s pretty great
