There’s something strange happening on YouTube in fact it’s been happening for years now if you search up just the word Minecraft and filter by most viewed videos some of these videos are not like the others from a video with 165 million views with a title that’s barely legible

Child abandonment whatever the hell this is to some weird anime Minecraft hybrid what are all these weird and extremely suggested videos with tens of millions of views things get even weirder when you look at the shorts I mean what the hell am I even watching here I’m pretty

Sure I have to blur this and how does that have over 20 million views little did I know at the time but what I had stumbled across was a deep Minecraft Rabbit Hole dating back over 10 years now with dozens of multi-million subscriber YouTube channels you’ve never

Heard of live streams with thousands of viewers in the chat which doesn’t move at all and the strangest most bizarre and downright a disgusting Minecraft animations I’ve seen on YouTube pulling in billions of views if not more the story behind the onus of these monolithic channels is extremely odd and

The tactics they use to Target an audience that can only be unknowing kids is something I’m surprised is even allowed on YouTube from contacting other big YouTubers and offering to pay them to upload or stream their videos to botting streams to thousands of people for months on end without stopping these

Channels are getting billions of views and making hundreds of thousands of dollars off of content that should not even be allowed on YouTube especially when they are targeting kids so what exactly is Minecraft monster school what are these bizarre animations and what exactly is going on here well let’s

Start from the beginning obviously the one thing that almost all of these bizarre animations have in common is that they are known as Minecraft monster school for something which now seems extremely predatory its Origins are rather innocent Minecraft monster school was first created in 2012 by an anime

Channel known as willcraft in December of 2012 will Croft would upload the first ever Minecraft monster school video now sitting at 21.5 million views the general premise of the animation was that the mobs don’t know what to do when they first spawn into a Minecraft world and Herobrine the teacher has to teach

Them how to be hostile mobs the first episode involves the mobs learning how to craft it’s an interesting and creative concept with even more interesting animation and certainly reflects what 2012 Minecraft content was all about and while woolcraft probably didn’t know it at the time what had just

Been created would be the start of something groundbreaking at the end of each episode grades are posted ranking each of the mob’s performance and there was a tangible story and characterization in woolcraft’s videos many of which racked up tens of millions of views each with the most popular

Sitting at an insane 97 million views total 97 million views more than my entire YouTube channel has for a single Minecraft animation an early sign of of what would be to come will craft would Garner many fans who come back to his videos to reminisce on their childhood

YouTubers would take the general idea and expand upon it developing their own content this originally was very well received the content was still true to what it originally was the animation gradually improved and the stories were still related to monsters in a school while continuing to be entertaining and

Unique most importantly though the viewers still liked it in fact like is an understatement this stuff was insanely popular it wasn’t uncommon for such videos to regularly achieve 30 to 40 million views which is about the same amount of views my entire YouTube channel gets in a year you can help me

Skyrocketed there’s an interesting shift to be noted as we enter the later 2010s though you may notice that many of the earlier Monster School videos from 2013 to 2015 all have normal looking comment sections with normal amounts of likes on top comments normal replies Etc but the

Newer age videos which popped up around 2017 and 2018 have strange comment sections there are still lots of comments but the top comments barely have any likes or replies I don’t know why this is exactly but it’s a common Trend amongst videos watched exclusively by young kids they always have comment

Sections where the top comments are not nearly as liked or interacted with compared to other videos a result of the shift monster school was currently undergoing regardless the content still wasn’t suggestive or extremely predatory yet it was just for lack of better words unfunny cringe but clearly there were

Still millions and millions of children out there finding this entertaining and as such the niche only continue to grow it seemed that around 2018 to 2019 is when things started getting strange though Monster School YouTubers began incorporating other popular and trending topics games and characters not associated with Minecraft at all mind

As such it was combined with monster school and click baited like crazy you may also notice that the story and General Monster School premise was quickly fading with a bunch of completely random and unrelated events happening in these videos the likes of which I can only describe as a strange

Fever dream still though the content wasn’t necessarily bad you could make the argument that exposed children to some less than Savory and outright scary themes but it was mainly just clickbaity hopping onto a variety of popular trends like the bottle flip challenge for hold up they are three years late to this

Trend how the hell do they still get almost 100 million views if it all stopped here everything would have fine but Monster School creators continue to test the limits and entering 2019 and 2020 the content began to get extremely suggestive the longer appropriate for children but still targeted and

Primarily consumed by them nonetheless anime girls Minecraft Mobs with well I think you know exactly what Herobrine dating shows and this can’t be real pregnancy anything and everything was off limits and this garbage still gets more views per video than I get in a year now the animation improved

Drastically as well but I’d argue that’s a monkey’s poor scenario because now my eyes have to watch whatever the hell this is in outstanding 1080p monster school has become basically the Minecraft equivalent of Elsa gate YouTube videos aimed and designed for children which contain content inappropriate for children some of which

Can even be dangerous there’s a reason content guidelines exist and that’s to prevent exactly what’s going on with monster school right now by this point the videos were not even remotely related to monster school anymore they were just using the name for clickbait and it was working well working far too

Videos are able to exist completely fine on YouTube by the way how is this even on YouTube in the first place is a good question but the fact that it’s monetized and being shown to hundreds of millions of children is utterly bizarre shorts aren’t the only thing which has

Been tainted by Minecraft monster school either you may notice that if you search up Minecraft and filter by live streams almost every stream that shows up first is Minecraft Monster School some of these live streams have thousands of live viewers so why don’t we check one out this one’s thumbnail is interesting

Let’s watch it what the hell is this why is Thomas the Tank Engine here and what’s with all the sound effects that play every two seconds what the hell am I and 3 700 other people doing watching this now you may notice something about these streams the chats basically don’t move at all

Considering there is supposedly 3 700 people watching this utterly destitute content you’d think in the minute or so I permanently damaged myself watching but at least one person would have sent a message but no the chat is basically as slow as a stream which has no viewers

It’s spotted that’s for sure almost all of these Monster School streams have their view counts spotted 3 700 people are not watching this thank God so what’s the point you may be asking well the bottled viewers help raise the stream in YouTube search and recommendations making them more likely

To reach potential audience of kids stupid enough to watch them parents might also just search up Minecraft and these butter streams will pop up first and their alluring thumbnails will catch anybody who is under five’s eye there probably are some people watching this stream but they are mostly children many

Of which probably don’t have an account or even signed into YouTube so they don’t chat anyways these streams run almost 24 7 just leaving the same content over and over most of which is already uploaded videos it doesn’t get more low effort than this but hey they

Must be making some good money in fact according to Spanish-speaking Minecraft Youtuber Bobby craft who responded to my Twitter post about this sometimes Monster School channels contact other large Minecraft YouTube channels offering them money or even Revenue splits to upload or stream their Minecraft Monster School content in this

Email Bobby Kraft received he was promised five hours of high quality Minecraft animation that equals stream potentially receiving 100 000 plus daily views the 1 million subscriber Minecraft Monster School Channel Minecraft produced is offering a 50 50 share for stream earnings where Bobby craft would receive 100 of any YouTube memberships

And donations going to the video link included in the email is an unlisted five hour long video which I’m assuming is just a compilation of Monster School videos that gets looped over and over this is what they stream for days on end interestingly the unlisted video has 240

Views which means the link must have been sent to a lot of other YouTubers in the same emails offering similar deals this might explain why these live streams are everywhere it’s because channels are being offered money to broadcast Loop to Monster School content and some are willing to do so now this

Is where I discovered something else interesting as well while researching for this video I clicked on a monster school stream which had a few thousand viewers and went to the channel to investigate this one has 1.4 million subscribers and it’s called mine girls I went to mine girls subscribe Channel

Section and saw a similar selection of channels most of which had similar names and many of which had hundreds of thousands if not millions of subscribers each most of these channels also had their own 24 7 Monster School live streams running as well all of which with thousands of views but utterly

Silent chats I then went to the about section of one of the channels to see if I could find some more info information a link to social media or anything to which I found none besides a linked business email and guess what all of these channels here had the exact same

Business email connected to them it looked like these channels of which had a combined total of 7 million plus subs and billions of total views are all owned or at least managed by the same individuals like some sort of Minecraft Monster School content Farm I continue to look through some other monster

School channels of which there are so many by the way dozens of which have multi-million subscriber counts it’s kind of crazy how these channels are virtually unheard of to most of us even though some like big school have over 10 million subscribers most of you watching my Channel right now could probably list

Every normal Minecraft Youtuber who has 10 million or more subscribers off the top of your head but these huge monster school channels have flown completely under the radar anyways from going through dozens of these accounts and trying to find more information 95 of them were utterly blank slates with no

Information in their about sections at all not even a business email and this solid chunk of them had spelling or grammatical errors broken English or even entirely different languages in their about sections which leads me to believe that these videos are being made in Asia particularly Vietnam in Malaysia

Or Russia beyond that there’s virtually no information about who runs these channels or is behind them some of the about sections are actually quite funny though such as this one here which mentions that his content is not intended for viewers under 13 Years yet makes their thumbnails look like this

Side note here again what is it with pregnancy That these channels seem to be obsessed with not all monster school channels are bad however some are just passionate people who found success in the niche and even tried to stay faithful to the original crediting will craft as their inspiration but the vast

Majority of these multi-million subscriber Channels with billions of total views are preying on underage children utilizing extremely suggestive thumbnails and content of which is utterly cursed I mean seriously if you told me an AI made this I would not even bet an eye the animators and names

Behind these channels are nowhere to be found and the small selection that did have a public presence beyond their Channel had almost non-existent followings I could not find any more information behind the channel owners and whether they are connected like many of the Mind Z channels were but it would
