Minecraft’s Insane Robotic Mobs – Metal Madness!

Oh God so awesome yeah terrifying [Applause] What’s going on guys my name is James or thanks see ya and welcome back to another minecraft mod spotlight and today we are going to be taking a look at the amazing robotic mob smart say yeah this is very very cool and I kind of wish that I had discovered this mud a

Little bit earlier than I have although having said that this mod is still actually in work-in-progress which is probably why I might have missed it up until now but nevertheless let’s take a look at it so what this mod does well basically it transforms your hostile mobs currently found in vanilla

Minecraft gives them this really cool unique robotic look to them now although this doesn’t actually add any new mobs into the game it kind of does at the same time because it actually transforms the mobs that are currently in vanilla minecraft to an extent where they look completely different and awesome

So yeah why not let’s check it out and stuff so anyway right we have these we have the creeper the skeleton the spider the zombie the slime the ghast the zombie pigman the Enderman that gave spider-man the cube the blaze and the silverfish I think you for silverfish

And but yeah just before we look at them if you remember I said this mod is actually in work-in-progress it’s because the mod maker hasn’t yet finished the wither and the ender dragon and that could be pretty goddamn awesome anyway let’s start here with the first row and we’re actually gonna start with

The creeper now do you remember what the creeper looks like in good old fashioned minecraft not anymore so this is the first model now as I’ve said all of these mobs have this kind of unique robotic features to them as you can see this creeper here rolls on this

Well square wheel so obviously it’s still within the laws of Minecraft so it is a square wheel but yeah this guy case carries TNT around much like a creeper he does explode he basically interacts exactly the same as a normal creeper as does every single mob it reacts like the

The standard one however they do look visually very very different and very very cool look at you so yeah very very nice I might actually give this guy a little a little cheeky cheeky hit there in which always a squid killer squid or TNT the squid nice quitter

Oh we didn’t die god damn you damn you there we go but anyway that is the creeper now as you can see this is kind of the trend for these mobs and a lot of them do look pretty awesome so the skeleton now this guy as you can see

It’s kind of like hunched over a bit I think very very cool and he has this like sort of weird mechanical arm so also you can see these cogs are rotating in the side it’s a little bit tricky to see there we go no come back there we go so as you can

See has rotating cogs on his arm and on its head which kind of you know really really reinforces that robotic nature of this mod and of course I’m doing this in the vanilla minecraft texture pack so this is just default however if you wanted to couple this mod with maybe a

Metallic or a futuristic e style texture pack I think it would be really really cool and so yeah yeah okay so he still makes the bony noises although he doesn’t really look too bony so the next one is a spider oh my god and a as you

Can see the spider has well he’s a helicopter spider so very very cool words again he still has his legs but he has his rotating motor on the top I don’t like you at all spider well what the hell oh I think it glitched out on

The chest a bit there but yeah the spider is very very cool it kind of looks like some kind of helicopter of death I can actually see one in the distance there okay but anyway the next one we’re gonna take a look at the zombie you actually just saw one then

But this is the zombie he kind of works mainly on the creeper principle so it is a little bit similar however he does not hold a TNT he does rotate on his little wheel well then get me bro actually am I going to the old survival mode here and

So you can track me but yeah as you can see that that basically is exactly the same in terms of effects as the normal mobs however you know they do have this really really cool appearance to them no spider attacks spider attack the spiders are actually a little bit trickier to

Hit because there they’re levitating from the ground so yeah they’re very very cool okay the next one we’re gonna take a look at is the slime slime slime so this is the little slime like what this is like he has that the slime in the middle but he does actually have

Some like rotating arms so the body does spin around like I might actually go and spawn oh hang on let me grab some more slime eggs I might try and spawn one so there’s a big one okay a slightly bigger that’s smaller out that’s massive oh no no no no slime

Attack okay so as you can see these things like roll around they are very very cool in deep and no this is this is not flying 70 slimes multiply exactly the same this is basically just a retexture enough already current mobs so you know although this

Mod is working progress I would love to actually see maybe this incorporated with the default mobs and damn it and B I’d love to see some special effects maybe that comes with these mods and some kind of robotic style features but yeah really really cool so the next one

Is the ghast I’m actually gonna go into creative mode spore this one because I don’t really fancy tackling it guest but you can see this thing is crazy impressive I’m actually gonna go into the daytime here so you can see it a bit better but yeah this is this is pretty a

Star by god yeah this is cool this is really cool so it’s basically like a four-legged gassed of death which hovers around on this massive propeller and yeah as you can see this guy well I don’t really have to say it it looks cool as hell let’s be honest and say

Yeah this is the gassed obviously these won’t be spawning in the real word these will be spawning in the nether okay right so what do we have next we have a zombie pigman I’m actually gonna go back into the nighttime just for the lulz but yeah this is the zombie pigmen out

Really look too much like a big man at all it does kind of look a bit more like a big and but yeah wow I haven’t seen this one before which is what I’m a little bit speechless but yeah this is like a four legged dog of death and do

These track me like normal ones I’m gonna get rid of this cast come on god I hate you what the hell what what is this madness but I have to shoe a guest yeah you know I might just do the old cheesy little trick here get rid of you

There we go okay so right we’ve seen the Pigman now let’s move on to the next one our my chest is on fire right the next one here we have is the case spike oh no the end of it Wow okay their venom is really cool this is probably one of my

Favorite ones out the whole path because it looks like this now very very cool I love the way it actually glows sort of with the purple like the Enderman however it still remains with that really robotic look as you can see it’s kind of like a a number of little blocks

Piled on together it kind of tracks around its hands so it kind of keeps the aesthetics of the long arms but yeah looks really really cool in my opinion all out oh it’s so glum killing us why the old Enderman tricks Oh God just rabbit where are you alright I

Might as well just kill this guy okay so that’s the end of it now the next one is the cave spider oh okay the case spied exactly the same as the normal spider so that’s also the same with the skeleton and I think maybe the magma cube is the

Same as the other one as well although we’ll check well check so this here is yeah the magma cube which is I think similar to the other one apart from it might have V the fire coming out of the back so yes the slime still it still

Retains like the rotation bit which is a pretty nice effect actually very cool alright there’s all the place now the blaze is also very very cool because it has like the the fired stuff coming out the back and it has the backwards propeller and so it looks pretty awesome

Has all the same sounds and stuff there I would actually like to perhaps maybe season there’s some special sounds some more metallic sounds that would be kind of cool and finally the silverfish which is exactly the same so we’re actually not done there because as I’ve mentioned

This mod is work in progress so the mod maker is still adding a few new things in the only one which we haven’t seen yet is the iron golem and Arius so I actually made myself and I rigged up a little sort of default little village in

Here and I just came up with this I don’t know if you ever seen this before but a temple is absolutely amazing for making yourself like a makeshift village village thing because you can fit loads of doors in the bottom and the top and it’s very very easy to spawn one so

Let’s actually go out of here oh there we go I actually did one of here just in case this guy wouldn’t spawn a VA house which is cool and a yeah this is the iron golem so as you can see he has hands like that and he holds these two big robotic metallic

Clubs in each hand and he does roll around on his square wheel defying the laws of physics but yeah this is the iron golem very very cool I have two nice so yeah these are very very cool these will keep your villages safe but I was kind of impressed with myself I’ve

Never really used this villager system before but it really works nicely and as you can see I’ve got already two eyeing golems from only really doing this for about 15 minutes so yeah that is the iron golem and that is it for this mod spotlight so I do hope you guys enjoyed
