Raid Captains were introduced on the 26th of may with the Hidden Depths DLC update. These guys add up to the end game of Minecraft Dungeons, adding up new layers of difficulty and new challenges. You can encounter Raid Captains during already completed mission playthroughs, allowing you to defeat them and pick up their banners. The Threat Banner and Mystery Banner can be collected up to six times to increase the difficulty and increase the reward after every mission completion. At the end, you will get a Raid Captain Bounty chest, which contains valuable loot. The Raid Captains can make the levels extremely difficult with multiple modifiers, so are they worth farming or should you focus on the Ancient Hunts instead?
