100 Days – [RTX Minecraft]

Welcome to 100 days in RTX Minecraft the most beautiful version of Minecraft by far I bet you’re looking at the screen wondering why this looks like normal Minecraft and that’s because it is let me go change this is RTX Minecraft little more notable don’t you think well

Nowhere near as notable as you if you hit that subscribe button that’s all I’m saying I’m gonna explain RTX as simply as I can it makes your game look pretty look at it it’s pretty it’s also very much in beta you’ll notice certain Textures in this video just didn’t load

Uh whatever we’ll get used to it there’s also some white debug text on the top of the screen that I can’t get rid of so I’ll just make this footage a little more cinematic but yeah it’s a pretty simple concept I’m just going to be surviving 100 days in RTX Minecraft and

Dealing with all the problems that I’ll find along the way and the first problem I ran into on day one was Darkness the light in RTX is beautiful but you can’t have beautiful light without intense dark and it gets intense so I just rode around in a boat all night until I saw

The most beautiful Minecraft Sunrise I’ve probably ever seen like the West Coast this land is beautiful but I am homeless luckily I found a nice Village of people to steal from it’s not a crime out here oh yeah look at that farm uh must be organic I still don’t have a

Home or any land I kind of just got lost in the world everything’s so nice to look at enjoy that Sunset though because once it goes down you’re in the dark I was drawn to this ruined nether portal mostly because it’s the only thing I can

See out here I have a nice capture card so the footage you’re seeing is actually a little lighter than what I was playing it’s so so so so dark but now it’s the morning of day three and I can now see it’s time to actually play this game

Torches are useless look at how little that lights up I can’t see anything that nothing I didn’t have to see much just got a little Cobblestone for a house if you’re wondering where I got this texture package straight from Nvidia the people who make RTX for the most part

It’s good I just don’t really like the bars on the Windows well here’s my house it has no roof but at least those torches provide some atmosphere got the roof on day four it’s a small little cottage I keep it warm with the heat of my melting graphics card sorry guys

Global warming’s my fault I just wanted Minecraft to look pretty can you blame me all right I’m doing it I’m Going Underground I need iron and probably won’t get any because I can’t see it mining is very possible you just have to use way more torches than you normally

Would if you were playing regular Minecraft no iron but it looks pretty I guess I was mostly down there for Cobblestone I can’t see anything at night so I needed a wall a wall is a very simple way to ensure your safety and with RTX even Cobblestone looks

Decent I’m gonna complain a lot about the darkness in this video but like I said before the beauty of the light comes from the darkness went back to mining day six and got absolutely nothing you might notice some copper there but that’s nothing I bet Minecraft cries every night knowing that no one

Loves copper I mind all day used about a billion torches got all the way to deep sleep but still not one iron I do gotta say that deep Slate’s like weirdly shiny you can see here where the shine just kind of stops it’s in beta it’s fun to

Point out weird things big brain here day seven after getting all the way to bedrock I destroyed every other torch it may look super dark but from a gameplay perspective it’s enough light where monsters won’t spawn I’m safe however to be absolutely sure of my safety I

Increased the size of my wall got some trees in too they look real nice with a few torches I have to light my house with torches I’m using the entire country’s electricity just to play this game alright I’m done making my own mine there’s a giant opening in the Earth

Right by my house I’ll use that to find iron I found some and it glows for some reason I’m not gonna argue with that it’s convenient I guess I had seen some of this glowy white ore and had no idea what it was but apparently it’s iron oh

Yeah and that purple luminescent thing that’s a brown mushroom later that night I roped in a donkey he despawned later because Bedrock Minecraft is terrible deep down in the Ravine day nine I found my first diamond just one that’s my luck it’s hard to navigate down here with how

Reflective deep slate is for some reason it’s like a Hall of Mirrors and a little water in the mix and with the darkness sometimes I have no idea what’s real or not look at this and tell me that that’s not absolutely disorienting got about as

Much iron as I could and left with my life then started playing with the weird shadows full iron armor I love how my skin looks in that and now it’s broken I took a little break between day 9 and 10 and now I can’t see anything except a

Little bit of Torchlight removing RTX seems to fix the problem so it’s definitely something with that but I can’t play Minecraft like this I feel sick just looking at it well got it working but now my skin is black please don’t cancel me the grass and really everything also looks way shinier than

It did before this better be a glitch I know you might not believe it but I’ve been outside before this is not what grass should look like trees are not reflective don’t worry it all gets fixed tomorrow but just look at how ridiculous that looks it’s hilarious all right back

To normal for the most part sometimes the Shadows totally wonk out but you know whatever I can deal with that spent the day chopping trees until that Sunset reminded me that I’ll soon be blinded despite not being able to see very well that night I found myself a zombie

Villager I abducted him without any plan I have nothing to make him real so I smashed him like that like button found the baby sheep today tried to 360 him guess he lives I’m trying to find a village I’m not having much luck mining for my resources so I was gonna steal it

From the people luckily for the people I could not find them but when I do oh when I do there is a big ocean nearby I might have some luck on there but I’m not gonna sail tonight it’s getting dark hello darkness my old friend uh is is

That a gold block is that what it looks like I find it strange that a block of gold something that is notably shiny is just dull this is why I only ever play vanilla despising the texture of gold is not the only thing thing I did on day 14

I also found mountains of coal also iron but I’m kind of past that now I just want diamonds if you were wondering yes I totally look at my land like this every single night put up some lightning rods so my wood house doesn’t burn down and then realize there’s evening Shadows

At High Noon that’s just unsettling now that I look at it all the Shadows are going in different directions that’s funky I upgraded my storage it’s not much I don’t have many items but I like it it’s cute this is my house lit with one Lantern it’s not lit at all this is

The same lighting with no RTX Ray tracing the whole place is lit completely tried to go to bed that night took me about a solid minute just to find my bed I swear RTX Minecraft is like its own difficulty monsters aren’t stronger they don’t spawn more often you

Just can’t see anything the beauty wore off a few days ago now it’s simply annoying but then I catch myself liking certain things this shiny deep slate tile made a great floor being outside during the day is the best time for RTX Minecraft not dim it’s not hard to see

It just looks pretty today I just leveled my land because tomorrow more wall goes up I started blocking myself off from the rest of the world at a young age you know emotional drama hey man building a wall is much easier than going to therapy now they’re wondering

If I’m serious and I won’t tell them the ground under my new wall was mostly flat but there’s a big old chunk of land over here I’ve got to move and there’s more land over here I’ve got to install building walls is serious work no lights

On it but the structure’s done that’s a huge amount of land now technically I don’t think I need all of these torches but I simply just cannot see if I don’t have them all I can appreciate a good wall when I see one it’s safe and looks

Awesome I did some more wall scaping day 21 it’s RTX Minecraft I can’t have stuff looking sloppy once that was done I went out looking for some more Villages I found some nice views and became a photographer which of course filled me with joy but gave me no money

Photography is not art you just have a nice camera coming up dry on the villages I figured now would be a decent time to try to fix up this nether portal I used the bucket method with a thousand times less Grace than every speedrunner ever it was a huge pain doing this

Without a diamond pickaxe but not impossible that night I went home and took out some pillagers but you can hardly see it because it’s so dark all right today is the day I’m going to the nether I’m super super nervous it’s so dark and why are there so many particles

I was marveling at the insanity of the darkness when I was attacked by a full-grown Magma Cube I could hardly even see them they swarmed me and I died I’m lucky Bedrock Minecraft has no hardcore mode or I’d definitely be starting over right now I’m gonna try to

Get my stuff back which is weird I don’t normally play like this I don’t know if it’s Bedrock thing or an RTX thing or what but the nether loads so slowly by the time I got in I was already under attack they comboed me and I died again

I died several more times before embracing my nakedness man I kind of wish I was dead forever mining with a stone pick is just terrible I stumbled upon an absolutely giant cave which would normally be an awesome thing I’ve got 10 torches down I can’t see anything I’m only a quarter

Done with this video and I’m just done with digging I don’t want to do it I have to use all this coal just to light up the area to find more coal that’s torturous I’m just low on everything I’m hungry I don’t know if you knew this about Minecraft but dying sucks these

Are all reasons I just really want to find a village it’s the only way to get powerful gear without going underground bound to nothing day 27 except some beautiful views I will say one nice thing about Bedrock Minecraft is animals will just randomly spawn so I don’t

Think I’ll ever truly go hungry More Exploring day 28 and tucked away right by this jungle is a sweet little town please be carrots please be carrots oh they’re beets it’s not a bad little town here I got my first look at stained glass oh that’s nice it’s a bit of a

Boat ride but I’m fine with that anything to keep me out of the minds I shouldn’t have traveled at night you can’t see anything all right right now that it’s day to increase safety I’m going to make a little path to the ocean so at least when I come home and it’s

Dark I can go in a straight line it’s nothing fancy but being direct is much more safe yeah this big creeper hole right in the middle of it all is exactly why I built this got it done and even put in a little Port so I won’t get lost

I turn on coordinates but I’m afraid that’ll break the game I really liked it a lot but I loved it when I saw it at night day 31 I was filled with hope I will finally start making some profits and in the sun I’m very lucky in this

Town I found is right by a jungle I’m gonna cut down every tree and sell it back to him selling sticks is probably one of the best early money makers out there it’s a little slow but that’s what makes it an early method like I said I

Don’t care I’ll do anything to not mine in RTX I need more power I am seriously such a weenie this skeleton with gold armor nearly killed me so today I just got after it chopped down trees all day that was it that was the whole day and

It was still better than any other day I had mining unfortunately though even though I’m rolling in money from destroying these people’s homelands I still need to go mining I need iron to upgrade the tool Smith now maybe I don’t have to go mining I can always borrow

Some from this gold probably I didn’t mean it I am very lucky that that did not kill me I would have respawned but it would have been embarrassing time for some shameful mining finally I found a cave and because iron glows I can see some really hope I don’t lose all of

This in another tragic death all day 35 I went through that entire cave got so much iron got some Redstone too I guarantee the villagers won’t like that this isn’t Minecraft footage anymore this is my graphics card running the game thanks to that cave trip I should have diamonds pretty soon all bought

With sticks got a real nice sunset on the way home I know I complain about the dark a lot but you know sometimes it’s worth it even a simple little dirt road like this just looks so much better when you got that RTX after dumping my entire

Hot no it it really is hot what what’s happening not my computer made it back from the hospital with my third degree burns treated and decided to go on a little Adventure see on the edge of this little town There’s a Hermit farmer and he buys melon so I need them I don’t

Really need them I’m just already bored of chopping because I watched too many three second videos on my phone I’ve got Redstone and automatic melon farm ain’t totally out of the question I got a little bird friend too I’m gonna enjoy its company for now they never last long

No Auto melon farm yet but I got a nice area cleaned out for a regular one yeah it’s just a simple strip of dirt with some melons growing in it but maybe one day it’ll be profitable got the farmer to sell me golden carrots that is such

An upgrade I got diamond tools golden carrots leather armor yet again the villagers have saved me I really don’t know what I would do without them just gets so dark at night look at that but look at this in addition to those golden carrots the farmer also sold suspicious

Stew this one with night vision and now it’s the only thing I want immediately went to bed in my stolen house if I’m gonna get night vision I need to work hard to get night vision I have to brew potions and for that I have to go into

The Nether and you all know what happened last time I did that I’d like to have at least a little diamond armor before going back in so I’ve got to build up these villagers I got three Fletchers a baby and a nit width and I’ll definitely kill in time I still

Don’t have a wall around this town so I broke down this guy’s house and made a mine I’m just down here for Cobblestone didn’t want to go all the way back home this wall has much less love than the wall in my home I took no time to level

Just put it up I did the same thing with the baby gates in my home you’ve got to contain the problem quickly and it all costs by Nightfall all the villagers were inside the perimeter who what a mistake I spent day 43 mining I need coal to keep mining it’s such a terrible

Cycle I may have spent far too long in the mines and now it’s night time the wall had no lights so I kind of just trapped all these villagers in with a bunch of zombies there were also some open sections that’s my bad I’m just gonna go to bed maybe all my problems

Will go away all right for real this time day 44 everything’s walled up it’s safe it’s lit we’re good I did have to punch a few virtual children but sometimes it’s the only way they listen it’s a very funky wall but it keeps everyone safe from Monsters not me so

Really not sure how I just got this idea but I probably should be farming bamboo I’ve been deforesting for like two weeks now this whole time I could have been bamboo farming it’s so much more efficient while going out for bamboo I found a much better town so many more

Villagers great location shame I didn’t settle here oh well you guys will have to do be free animals go live your life just kidding not you sheep I might need you for money I did that so I could set up the bamboo Farm today and I already

Think I’m going to hate it why couldn’t you just text your bamboo bro come on same thing with beets and potatoes they’ve been in the game forever I don’t really care how this town looks but that big plot of purple is making me angry found a nice little cave in the jungle

This one’s kind of outside so I can somewhat see I was just mining coal not bothering anyone when my parrot was shot by a skeleton of course I took Vengeance but but I did say they never last that long left the cave with a lot of iron a

Lot of coal and one less parrot that’s a bummer couldn’t sleep that night so I took out a few Enderman it didn’t make me feel better uh that there that’s hard to look at I don’t think the money’s worth it the good news is very soon I

Should be able to start buying diamond armor I can see the boots and chest plate I’m so excited how excited well enough to try to take on the nether again this is not normally a strategy that I use it’s very cheesy feels a little dirty even but I’m just gonna go

In and place as many walls as I can I took half of my health before I even loaded in RTX nether is just not fair and a nice amount of walls down before getting slapped by that Cube again it’s the same one I think ah I’m in the

Village probably should have set my respawn to home those walls should help I’ll get the rest done tomorrow so with those walls in I fully geared up and got into The Nether after a loading screen a long one oh what what happened started with pretty much all my health gone into

Full-grown magma cubes right on me it didn’t end well uh no of course I went back in to get my stuff but these magma cubes are no joke especially when they swarm you right off the rip I’m not used to dying this doesn’t normally happen to me I’ma run

In naked with my wood out and see if I can make this happen no surprise security tackled me finally on attempt number four I secured the nether that was such a hassle I’m gonna do what I’ve been doing this whole video and blame the darkness yeah that’ll work got a

Little portal room set up and now that shouldn’t happen again I really really hope so tubes in the Overworld the torment does not end look at all these boats each one a lost soul that’s another day making everything look nicer it’s not like you could even tell down

Here it’s so dark then I got a tunnel dug I used magma blocks for lighting they’re somehow better than torches oh I like that glowstone the texture isn’t very natural but I don’t know I kind of like it even more the rest of the day was me mining through the dark kind of

Nice to look at in the distance but I shouldn’t it’s dangerous I tunneled all day until my diamond pickaxe broke so a while oh villagers guess who needs more money one day I won’t have to to rely on them but I still do the only thing I did

Other than shopping d53 was murder so pretty normal one now my pickaxe and ax are broken and I need 52 emeralds to fix them spent my money on a diamond chest plate that was dumb it’s kind of the worst time for that to happen because I’m low on everything and need

Everything at least the glowstone looks nice in my house it actually lights back in the mines for iron I’m so sick of it it’s not even funny then I used the iron to chop down trees what a life I’m running out of trees in the jungle I had

To go all the way to the Savannah it’s all right I’m gonna replant the forest in this one small area completely for profit that’ll help with new tools it’s back to the nether I want night vision more than I want to beat the game gotta say there’s some nice views out here the

Lava the fire glowstone all mixed for some interesting lighting look at just how absolutely useless that torch is just continuing to mine away through the darkness when something started glowing uh what is that it’s ancient debris the stuff you make never right out of I

Don’t know why glows but I have it now yeah that was pretty much it still just looking for that Fortress after a ton of digging day 59 I finally found a fortress I think I hope it’s not just a weird Shadow yep it’s a fortress and it’s gonna be even darker than

Everything else so the first thing I did for safety was dig a little base not much just a little hidey hole where I can go to to eat food and heal took a little break to collect myself and when I came back a blaze had spawned inside

Of me that really should not be legal you bedrockers wonder why the Java people hate Bedrock this is one reason I now know why there’s no Hardcore Minecraft in Bedrock because dying like that would just be too much to bear so I definitely nearly died just getting my stuff back because Bedrock Minecraft

Doesn’t care where you’re standing it’s gonna spawn mobs right on top of you however I did live got my stuff and hopefully I won’t die again but then four blazes spawned inside of my safe area I knew I was dead I just tried to get my stuff indoors that whole

Situation was very well lit but somehow this is still the darkness’s fault oh well on the bright side I get to add another boat to my collection I made a base getting my stuff back wasn’t bad just annoying found out that fire is an awesome light source this is way better

Than any torch now I’m just gonna light everything on fire until I can see went slow and steady through the Fortress I’ve already died a bunch but I’m trying to avoid it if you can believe me I got plenty of blaze rods so now I’m killing Enderman they seem to spawn more often

Right around me because I’m on Bedrock there’s some positives went home with 16 Ender balls if that’s not enough I’m going to cry I was totally gonna brew potions but forgot about netherwort oh well I don’t want to go back to the nether I need the sunlight I’m gonna

Find the end luckily the ender pearl was pointing towards my Village hopefully it’s close by before really going out I made a big map that should help me not to get lost most of the journey was over water which is nice it’s easily the best

Way to travel even at night on RTX and from How The Pearl is pointing the end Fortress should be right under this Savannah Town boy it’s very much got its problems but I’m not here to solve those I got to exactly where the Pearl pointed

And I built a big tower now I’ll never miss it I did struggle to find a place to sleep it’s just so dark out here without torches hey bud uh why are you looking at me like that you upset I took your bed or something anyway now it’s

Time to go deep into the Earth my favorite mining doesn’t normally bother me it’s Minecraft it comes with the territory it’s just so dark and I’m getting so tired of it hey found some diamonds just one like always got to the end Fortress took a while and you gotta

Know it’s gonna be Pitch Black in there if you watched my cave hundred days you’ll know my system for not getting lost Underground when you put your torches up on the wall make them face towards the way out you’ll never get lost the system is only as good as you

Far today I mostly just put my loot away and then waited until night I gotta kill Phantoms I need their sweet juicy meat now right now that that’s done I gotta go back into the nether I don’t want to but I need to so I still need Nether

Wart out of the Fortress it’s here somewhere I’ll find it I was very safe about the whole trip except using literal fire as a light source torches are just terrible what is that why even have them in the game look at that thing apparently I did not look at that thing

A wither skeleton snuck up on me I backed up into my fire and died the darkness consumes again I have died in the nether so many times that I can hardly even Park my boat I have to walk over my old boats thankfully I was able

To just run right up to my stuff they didn’t make it hard on me I want to leave oh I really do but can’t I need another work here I was trying with all my heart to see where the chunkiest part of the Fortress was but it all just

Looked very black when a wither skeleton snuck up on me again how does this keep happening whatever I’ll just add another boat to my collection all right I’ve trashed Bedrock Minecraft a good amount in this video but the Wither Skeleton wearing all of my armor that was kind of

Funny thankfully my suffering is over I found the Nether wart I could leave and never come back and that’s what I did all right for once I get to take one of these boats back home I now have night vision potions and you gotta know I’m using them tomorrow into the mines with

Night vision and I feel like my true power has been activated it’s not a night vision potion it’s an anti-rtx potion and I love it instantly started finding diamonds that would have been otherwise shrouded in darkness it just finally feels like I can play this game

Like I normally do left the cave with 10 diamonds that was a good day I went back to my house and dug out a space for my enchanting room and you’re gonna like how this one looks oh that’s a Vibe right there look at it so shiny huge

Luck here I can see Fortune three I just need 13 more levels so I went back to the caves villagers are way better XP I just love these night vision potions it was a massive day in the caves got so much stuff so much xp truly notable

Headed back home in the dead of night but for some reason it looks like day and no I don’t even have a night vision potion active yeah it’s a very recent glitch I’ve been experiencing with RTX this is night time I know it looks nothing like it but it’s night kind of

Figures right as I get night vision potions to gain glitches and I don’t need them anymore however because of the light I think I was a little bit relaxed and probably should have ate some food I realized far too late that I was right about to die and Phantoms were above me

I jumped in the water thinking that would save me but it did not I think after that one we need a moment of silence that one was just bad moment over I’m getting my stuff back luckily I wasn’t too far died right by my Village there’s my stuff like all my other

Deaths I’m gonna blame that one on the lighting ah sweet now the world decides to be dark at night you can see the weirdo transition here it goes from Sunset to high noon and yes this is all still night time well so much for getting Fortune through three my levels

Are gone thanks to that death ah the next day night I went out looking for zombie villagers it’s really the only thing that I still don’t have they seem to spawn really frequently on Bedrock I don’t know why but it’s kind of nice this one had a baby zombie on its back

As a Java player I didn’t even know that was possible I was very very careful and euthanized the child the plan is to sell him sticks but even with one cure the trades aren’t that good 26 sticks in a deal so I built him an apartment and

Locked him inside I am sure he is very grateful in the daytime I started working on some infection infrastructure oh wait it’s night the tech was pretty simple I just built a staircase into the apartment and let the zombie infect him I’m the landlord and can do anything

After getting two more cures in I started working on an automatic bamboo Farm the Redstone ain’t too complex but with the sun being weird I forgot to build a roof and my zombie villager burned up that was a waste of three golden apples again I will blame RTX

Even though I full well should have known that that was gonna happen and good news is now I can increase the rent I love it when my tenants die oh look at that they’re already getting along all right it’s the daytime I think and none have been incinerated awesome so while

I’m kind of waiting for all that I’ve decided to keep myself busy near my house I’m so desperate for XP I’m gonna build an old school monster Farm out of Netherrack this is Rock Bottom no no this is Rock Bottom worst part about that one was is there’s no way I can

Blame that one on RTX I really stopped trying to not die a long time ago once you have your first it doesn’t really matter ran out of Netherrack used deep slate for the most ugly monster Farm of all time if I ever go to 200 days in

This I guarantee you I’m just gonna move I’m doing this because the end of the video is coming up quick and if I don’t get powerful soon I’m gonna die in the ender dragon fight spawner’s nearly done but I don’t know why I’m building it I

Could just go kill monsters out in the night day got the mob spawner done but didn’t realize it was night and this creeper protested my build trying to fix stuff right below an active monster spawner is definitely not easy I need a wall and to never play RTX again got a

Wall but missed one spot two Creepers came in what a rookie mistake alright now I know it’s for sure day I have a lot to fix just look at this hole to make matters worse the farm right now should be outputting tons of monsters but it’s just not apparently in Bedrock

Hostile Mobs don’t spawn on the surface during the day so the only time anything here will spawn is at night making this whole build kind of useless I was a little stubborn I built it I’m gonna use it I don’t care if it’s not too efficient I got way more XP just going

Down in the caves and at least here I can find diamonds I know it took a while but here it is I got my diamond pick with Fortune three with a fortune pick all the good Oreo mine has a chance to be quadrupled it can turn one Diamond

Into four diamonds it’s the best in the game I was getting so rich but Bedrock bedrocked me and it broke you cannot fathom how upset I was but luckily my next diamond pick I Enchanted had fortune 3 wasn’t recording all day 87 I was infecting this villager hopefully he

Doesn’t die yep now he’ll buy one stick for one Emerald that’s a good trade gave the zombie a flu shot with this villager levels are much easier to come by I should have no problem getting some good gear look at that got a nice helmet but these Bedrock villagers are just

Terrible why is it 25 sticks for an emerald already oh well I got myself level 30 the hard way I need those in chance and this sword ain’t perfect but I’ll take sharpness three not much going on day 90 kind of kicking myself I built a huge monster farm and still just kill

Him in an open field I mean I guess it’s a little safer to sit here but it’s just slow I took out my anger on the creepers it’s healthy day 91 with a few villager trades I got myself to level 30. got home started checking enchantments and totally fat fingered it oh totally

Wasted my level 30. I guess I’m not going in with perfect armor at least my boots will be nice I feel very good with feather falling 4. it took a very long time and quite a lot of villagers suffering but I’ve done it a full set of protection diamond armor that dragons

Going down I put my good armor back in the chest I don’t want it breaking but I still want to have some fun time for an adventure and by Adventure I mean trying to find a cave and not finding one finally found a cave that I could run
