A cool zeldery thing or a cool a cool battery thing because I do always feel inspired right whenever I go on the the golden Minecraft era subreddit right I’ve always seen all these cool things people are doing you know what I want to make some paths that’s like that’s

Something I always like to do you get some gravel and you dig yourself a nice little path uh when uh let’s have a look or maybe we could even do it with some gray wool normally use gravel and I think we should have some I feel like I must have been

Oh yeah look 53 I should be enough we could mix and match with some other bits and Bobs like Stone and Cobblestone so let’s uh let’s grab some other little materials out in the new version of the game you can put buttons on the floor

Like this like it leads straight into my path and then I have a little bit of dirt leading up here making it extremely hard for anyone to get around if they want to but that’s perfectly fine no one else is here it’s just me it’s just it’s just me woman

For the life of me remember this was like 12 years ago I remember mine like how to make the gold Railway but that’s about it do I want it to be above ground or below because it’ll be an ice or if it’s up in the sky but also oh there’s pumpkins over there

I didn’t see those um we could have it on like a big Stone Aqueduct where it like goes around to our different locations should we get them and then that would make it easy to pass to different areas because it would be in the sky and we wouldn’t have to

Dig through the ground um whereas digging in the ground I guess would take a lot longer and also we could just put it across the surface I mean that’s I mean let’s be real I don’t really mind the surface stuff you can do kind of cute stuff with surface Minecraft rails

Human brain of like Improvement you just get better you just physically see yourself getting better at a game and it’s it’s extremely satisfying and I love that I love that feeling when like you get on one day you find something a little difficult and you’re like okay I can power through it I’ll

Try my best you know you’re there like it’s a little tiring but I’m trying my best and then you come back the next day you do the exact same map and you’re like and you finish it and you’re like well hang on I found this difficult only a few days ago

Part is when the muscle Memory Remains like within only a few days of practice I can get back to like a level that I consider like manageable not anywhere close to how good I am at my Peak but I mean that’s how a peak works right let’s see what you’re best

But I’m able to like enjoy myself within a relatively small span of time and I I like that and now what I’ve been doing is playing like a somewhat uh consistent schedule every day and I’m really feeling it like payoff I’m about to be stabbed by a creeper I I

Went from like zero plays a month the way also tracks your like play time is really what weakest creeper ever bloody hell imagine that guy um yeah the way OSU captures your game time is weird like most games on Steam is just how many hours are you

Logging into the game like you know when you launched it and when you quit it OSU plays it counts the number of hours you have in a map like actually playing the Rhythm games the amount of time you have in a menu doesn’t count up which means actually your hours in those

Two are probably a lot lower than you might think from like another game well hello sir uh which is which is kind of weird but it’s also weird to look at that I’ve got like over 800 hours in it and that’s not 800 hours in the game it’s 800 hours playing

The rhythm game that that’s like a lot I think if that was on Steam I’d probably have like 2 000 hours or something right I swear I spent half my time in games like most of the maps are notes who are like you know between a minute and a

Let’s get uh oh I’m thinking like a nice colorful color like a yellow we have all this white wool surely we have like a trillion uh dandelions here we go get some dandelion yellow there we go yellow wool that should be enough for a little roof we get some yellow and light

Gray that’s a friendly little combo and maybe we have some pences perfect and we can take a one of these crafting benches with us as well um bloody hell I forgot Minecraft just makes those scary ambient noises sometimes just to freak you out it’s very spooky very spooky indeed uh

Little bit and we have a little fence holding it up sticking it out that’s kind of cute isn’t it um it’s like a little fun little alcove I kind of like that we need like a way to light it um that’s I don’t like that it’s ugly Punk

Here we go but yeah no the programming thing like I at work I feel like I’m making a lot of progress as well which is really satisfying like I’m I’m always trying to learn and pick up new things right and I think when you’re in school as a youngin you don’t really appreciate

How at what rate you’re picking up new things but like good Lord you do so much learning in school and then when you become an adult I think a lot of people just sort of stop right I mean they might not stop thinking but a lot of people stop actively learning new things

Um which is fine you know not everyone needs to needs to spend all day worrying and thinking I’m trying to make a fence it’s just that right yeah that’s fine but as a as a developer you know I’ve started to really appreciate feeling like I’m gaining new skills

So it’s really nice just to be like oh yeah I used to have a little bit of difficulty trying to uh set up bloody I don’t know I don’t like I don’t know I don’t know if I should make every episode just like programmer talk it’s probably

Boring the Christ out of some of you so I’m sorry for that but you know if you’re having difficulty with a particular I don’t really know I can’t think of a good way to get into this without just talking about programming for like a few

Hours so I’ll just cut it and just say you know it’s nice when something used to have difficulty with you actually like master and you can add that to your list of things you can do like if you ever look at a job application for a programmer

They always ask you for about a thousand things right I like this this is cute by the way but I think these should be uh sticks they always ask you about a trillion things and honestly like when I looked at them when I was originally doing my

Job search I didn’t know what any of them were it’s asking you like what’s like RX Java and what’s like co-routines and do you understand uh kotlin and all this other bollocks that’s just like no I don’t I didn’t do this at my last programming job what the heck

It’s just a new thing you need to you need to learn really and then once you start doing it you realize oh it’s not so bad actually I can do that and then you realize how quick you can like smash through something in like a day you know it’s really nice it’s a

Good feeling where’s my cart gone oh there you are maybe I feel like maybe I should add more of these gold things just to make stuff a bit faster because uh I don’t know how this could be a bit quicker couldn’t it we don’t need to be stingy with them

Like we have we have a lot of these things by the way you see how smooth that is when you’re going around a corner I could swear it was more jittery like using a car oh that’s satisfying I I thought using a cart was a lot more

Jittery than this but it seems like it smoothly moves your view in this version did it always interpolate that nicely I don’t know look at that we’ve got like a nice little beach hut here isn’t that cute and now if we want to do our our farming we can just pop up here

Like how you can only plug in one Appliance in his house at once small minor constraints like that I think I did quite a good job you know his Supermarket had paneer which really surprised me delicious cheese Indian very lovely good stuff his Supermarket had that which really surprised me
