All The Mods 8 Ep. 20 Productive Bees

Episode 20. hopefully you guys are ready so today is the day that you guys have probably all been waiting for yes we’re gonna be getting into resourceful bees that’s right B episode and it’s probably gonna take multiple episodes honestly to fully get through bees um but to get started with bees of

Course we need regular bees and there’s a few different ways we can capture said B’s um but we’re also gonna need to go through every single biome and grab a hive I know we have hives for most biomes but to really get into this mod we’re gonna need to do that

Um now first of all though I want to build myself sort of an apiary or some sort of uh some sort of housing for the bees so that way they don’t get out but they also have sunlight and all that fun stuff um so I think on the side of this I’m

Going to be building a sort of Dome shape housing off the side that’s gonna be pretty it’s gonna be big enough to sort of fit over here it’s going to utilize a bunch of glass um analogs so I think I’m gonna go ahead and get started building this

So I think it turned out pretty darn good it actually looks pretty neat setting off to the side over here and uh this is going to be the perfect spot perfect spot for our bees you can see I’m keeping with the purple theme I really like this setup and uh well now

We need to get some bees so I have some sturdy bee cages that we’ve just acquired through loot um but we can actually buy these from villagers and I think getting started with a villager here The Beekeeper specifically is gonna be pretty great now apparently I already had some uh

Some Honeycombs from I’m assuming lewd as well and uh so I made a beehive this is going to convert one of our villagers up down here over to The Beekeeper now I’m pretty excited about this so this guy right here has not been set up

So we should be able to break this and then place that and then give it a little bit and we should have a beekeeper before long oh wait after looking at this it looks like it has to be an advanced version of a beehive from productive bees and unfortunately I

Don’t think I have enough to do this let’s see I’m gonna go ahead and actually take this beehive and let’s see if we can advancify it it looks like we actually can so all we need is a campfire and a sheer and we should be able to make it and let’s see beehive

And it needs to be an advanced one so an advanced beehive oh wow we have just enough that is perfect and now this villager hopefully this villager looks so broken it doesn’t know what it’s doing right now but hopefully it’ll eventually link to this so it looks like The Beekeeper is ready

To go I’ve already traded some campfires with it looks like hopefully we can get this thing up in levels pretty quickly and we may be able to use some of that uh what villager enhancement mod this right here I think these there there’s something in here that will definitely yeah this advances most

Trading professions and I mean it’s not horribly expensive uh we might be able to use that instead but look at this oh Advanced hives just for free oh that’s gonna be great they’re dark hives as well um I’m gonna go ahead and trade that to

The max I want to see if I can’t potentially use this to level it up so let’s test this out currently this is a journeyman and if we use one of these it’s now expert oh my gosh did it it’s not the max now it’s master so it does

It just immediately levels it right up oh that is fantastic so we don’t have to go through all that stuff so what all does it trade sturdy bee cages for regular bee cages also bee nests and it looks like we get B jars and a QB spawn egg can be used in a

Spawner a QB what what is this it’s just a is it B what does this produce the veramone secreted from this bee gets animals in the mood okay this PCB can breed amongst themselves they cannot breed them so this is a bee that just passively in the world will cause other animals I’m

Assuming to breed that’s pretty cool so with that I think it’s time we go on a hunt for a couple of things regular bees we do need regular bees and thankfully we can of course grab them but we also need to grab the regular beehives because we need to farm regular

Honeycombs at least at the start for a little while but while we’re out hunting we also need to keep an eye out for nests now thankfully I do already have a nest right here from productive bees and this nest when used with a treat once we set up

The nest properly when you place it down you can actually get all the base B’s that we’re going to be needing with this mod you get all the base B’s through the nests um so it’s an interesting process but we need Honeycombs first to make the treats

We feed the treats to the nest and then eventually the bee that is correspondent to the nest which there’s multiple bees per Nest on some of them those should hopefully give us the B we collect them and then we can actually utilize these breeding machines and all that good

Stuff to get the bees that we actually need and want but we are going to need a really nice way of collecting regular Honeycombs from said bees so when looking for bees I think flower Forest is like probably the best place to hopefully find this and thankfully

It’s not too far away night time is of course one of the best times one of the best times to farm bees because they’re usually inside their hive so we should be able to maximize the amount of bees let’s get rid of these guys I think they’re they’re focused um hopefully this has

In it I can’t really tell but I do need to go ahead and break this and there we go so you need silk touch I’m gonna go ahead and take this back home hopefully we have more of these I’m gonna have to look this right here by the way is one

Of the blocks that I need I mean you can tell it is a hive based on the face hopefully I can go ahead and get this harvested there we go and this is one of several of those nests that we’re gonna need now that I have some bees I also realized

That I could probably just craft these um apparently uh most of these of course you only need one of the wooden ones but every single one of the hives can be crafted so we don’t even have to go out and hunt for them um which I mean is kind of fun some of

These bees have to be summoned by the way in the proper dimension for example the Soul Sand Nest you have to put this in the Nether and do this process in the nether to get the V once you have the V though you don’t have to worry about it

Um but yeah it is pretty cool as you can see right here uh that we can actually graph these uh that just makes things so much nicer um so yeah with that I do have some bees and I did actually somehow get this Ambience disc which is kind of

Interesting I’m gonna toss this stuff in here thankfully there was no Bees just lingering around hopefully we have D’s inside these nests which I would assume we do um and then thermal this is how we’re actually going to just automate this process I think this is going to be the

Best right here so for every Hive one two three four we have five of those for every hive we should hopefully be able to uh oh by the way this is our chance to use this we should be able to get this all set up and automated very very quickly so to

Get these set up and be processing all we have to do is just basically place them down like so and place the nest on top of them and this should automatically Shear oh there’s our bees this should automatically shear and uh collect the resources for us out

Of the bee nests so yeah I think it’ll work out pretty good some of the B’s and so now we have baby bees and stuff and uh so we just kind of have to wait a little bit now I got this sort of automated I’m gonna put a chest

Right here this is going to allow Honeycombs to enter and then the honey itself should enter this tank and I should be able to bottle this out I think hopefully I can use bottles on this I do have honey bottles which is kind of nice I don’t think I can potentially I don’t

Think I can honey bottle out of here I may need to just leave the honey in here so I can bottle it out so at this point now that I have a few Honeycombs let’s go ahead and hopefully increase our honey production even more by making

Seeds so yes I’m going to need honey bottles thankfully we have some I believe this is just from the loot like looting around I wish this would automatically refill but all we need is one because it looks like the seeds are duplicating themselves um so on this particular upgrade on the

Essence we need to go to prudentium which means we are going to need an infusion Crystal and this means getting into some more visceral agriculture yeah well you’ve got to upgrade and make predintium pretty simple though so let’s go ahead and make this this is going to

Be very very handy because it I mean honestly with this mod with going into the bees you need so many Honeycombs to make the treat uh this is the honeycomb treat as you can see requires a block of honey and that to make four and this is just going

To be very important actually it looks like we can just compile well that’s just to make one so yeah this is a bit more this is like doing a a more yeah I just thought you get more out of your crap it’s the same amount

But yeah you get more all right so I’m gonna put this right here for now that’s gonna grow up and uh it looks like it has a 10 chance to duplicate seeds I mean what I’ll do is I think this whole middle section once I get enough of

Those seeds I’m just gonna turn the whole thing into that because we are going to need a lot of Honeycombs now all of this process will be definitely increased once we get a time in the bottle um to get a time in the bottle thankfully we’ve gotten into the mods

That we need to unlock this thing however I still have yet to go hunting for an obtainium I do know where Hunt obtainium is and it’s not super difficult to usually find so long as we kind of blow the area up it should be pretty easy to hopefully find this stuff but

This right here um is doing pretty good doing pretty good I went ahead and also used the essence that I generated with the seeds which are doing pretty good as well and I think we can now kind of get started on the nest now the nests do take a

Little bit of time that’s why I said the time of the bottle or some sort of acceleration would help but we’re gonna kind of have to deal with uh with this on its own for right now so as far as nests go um I think this will say what B is yet

It’ll show you what B’s can actually be generated via this Nest so we do need the green Carpenter B and a yellow Carpenter beam both of these can be generated from this block so let’s go ahead and place this down and we’re going to be using our sturdy cages you

Could just use regular cages cages can be made like this but thankfully once we make cages like this all we gotta do is trade our villager over there for some sturdy ones and these do not break which are fantastic so let’s go to make the treat um so the treat

Is this right here let’s make a few of those they have 32 treats and all I gotta do it says right here is add a treat to it so Treat Me Nice and I believe it has a cool down and we should be able to see that once the advancing goes away

Or not or we just sort of wait did a b just go into this oh yeah there’s the cooldown so yeah once this cooldown uh finishes we should be able to just pick up the B um and I don’t know if a dispenser can just use these or modular routers might

Be able to use them um but I’m just gonna kind of chill and wait and the acceleration the time of the bottle would really help with this by the way um but I think we’re just gonna have to wait for right now just for a little bit

You know what we we might go hunting for this you know I I’m pretty sure we can easily make the time in the bottle we just need to get get unotadium which means we also need to make a vibranium pickaxe people to mine it so its cooldown is almost up and

Nothing spawned from it it does however say it’s inhabitant is a yellow carpenter bee oh there it is and there we go look at that we just grabbed the carpenter bee that was inside of it but of course all we have to do to potentially get the green because this

Is the yellow all we got to do is put another one in and we have to wait that period but I think in the meantime while this is working um I am going to go on the hunt for unobtanium so before I head to the end I

Think it’s only fitting that we upgrade this bad boy to be able to mine a 7×7 with this radial enhancement this should be pretty crazy so I can go all the way up to a seven by seven and I think this is going to allow us to mine

So much easier and find this stuff so much faster now to be able to find the unobtanium we need to go to the end Highlands to be able to find that so I’m in the end and I just need to search for Highlands and I am off

Find this so I’m in the end Highlands let’s put this drill to the test oh also I did make a void upgrade for my bag and so let’s see void any allow list and then we’ll make sure that anything that we pick up automatically gets voided off so it should yeah it

Should when picked up automatically void this but should not for example void off a b cage when picked up so B cage goes in the only thing that’s getting voided is what we have in this list here and that’s for example in stone so this should make this uh a little easier um

That’s not obtainium right there all of this work just to have it right here what what is this luck I usually have to spin so much time searching for this time okay well that was that was easy so in just like that uh I have the time in the bottle now oh

This is gonna be nice I wonder what we get for the time of the bottle is it just XB just XP for all that now as far as all the Bumblebees go of course we’re gonna want to uh definitely get these guys producing and uh we’re gonna want

All of the the bees that these hives produce so for example The Nest here we are going to make sure we get a chocolate mining me a leaf cutter we’re gonna want pretty much everything that this can produce um it looks like oh this is just showing

By the way all of the bees so if we go through here for example um the wood bees the wood bees are gonna give you a chance to get a carpenter yellow bee and blue banded B for example from this one I don’t know if the one

We’re using can give the blue banded but uh sand can give us the chocolate mining bee it looks like gold can give us the gold bee and then the quartz can give us quartz B and so on and so forth magmatic B we’re gonna need all of these bees

Inside of a sturdy bee cage now some things to give up note to be able to attract some of these bees you’re gonna need to place them in the appropriate biome for example the snow Nest requires a cold biome in order to produce the Sweet Bee um so that’s just something we’re gonna

Have to keep in mind um I don’t know if not not all of them this one like for example requires a swamp biome the slimy one and of course glowstone requires a specific biome in the nether so does the soul and so on and so forth I don’t know if the sand

Requires a beach biome uh it might be distracted oh it’s a desert so we got to do the sand in the desert the gravel Let’s see we need warm rivers and beaches so we’re gonna have to put this in a river Yep this is gonna

Take some time we might be able to get away though with some of these nests and uh we may not have to use like for example the uh the sand one because I think this produces everything the sand one produces but take a look it looks

Like ashy yeah so the gravel produces an ashy chocolate and also digger bee all the same so yeah we probably won’t have to use a sand one as you can see 60 something seconds if I do speed this up though with the time in the bottle it goes much faster and hopefully

Should produce one or it’ll inhabit be inhabited by one and uh hopefully it’ll come out there goes definitely don’t want to let it stay in the water though that was a chocolate bee I believe yep and so basically I just add more Honeycombs again and restart the process I’m slowly but

Surely getting there yeah getting all of these fed thank goodness I made the Honeycombs in the uh the mystical agriculture Farm otherwise this would just take so long if I was able to speed up the uh the nest this is this would take so long so I’m currently

Working on the ones that are in the end there we go we’ve got a few of them now I’ve just got to wait for Yep this one and this one which is the glowing bee so now I have the sturdy bee the gold bee the glowing bee and I’m just waiting on

The courts and there we go perfect now last but not least I’m gonna go ahead and make two of the Dragon ones I might also make two of the in stone which give the inner bees um but I do need at least two so I can breathe them together I would love to

Have two of every single one of these bees but it’s just gonna take a little bit of time so hopefully I just let my time build up and we’ll go from there but Yep this should be the last two bees I need now at this point after

Collecting the majority of the bees I’m gonna need myself a breeding chamber this thing right here is what is going to send us and allow us to be able to make all of these bees for the future um and uh hopefully we I can find it again see breed or breeder okay so

Um it does require a little bit of crafting that’s completely fine though uh we’ve already completed the Quest for the base upgrade so weird that it does that sometimes uh let’s see Combs I need to grab some more of my Combs and yeah we’re about to have ourselves a breeder let’s see

This right here make that and that there we go and last but not least we need more iron thank goodness I have this producing iron and there we go so I believe this does need a little bit of power yep so time to craft a point hopefully you gotta love it when you’re

Like in the middle of something and you’re like ah I’ve got to have this item um so I’ll get this hooked in that’s filled with with all that stuff and then what do we need to do is basically we can just put our cages in and it’s going

To produce a new B over here it’s pretty awesome um now if we take a look at this this actually gives us a really easy way of just getting to this point right so I’m gonna be going for uh all the modium unobtainium and of course vibranium with

This method I think this is one of the best ways of generating these resources uh but there are also some other resources that I want to generate as well as uh we’ve seen Prosperity shards that seems like a really good thing to get right um so to get a Prosperity shards uh we

Need to figure out how to breed the bees together to get this oh yeah I guess not everything gets bred together for example this says right here feed a crystalline B A Prosperity block so we just need to take a crystalline B and we need to feed it a Prosperity block um so

Crystalline B that is another B that we have to get our hands on and I don’t exactly know what this produces oh this is the one that comes out of the quartz block so we might need multiples of some of these B’s for example in this case I probably

Should make another quartz B let’s go do that and Boop and we could probably just leave that there and so now because we need that b um I’m gonna go ahead and just breed two crystalline bees together and what should be produced is another one like

It’ll just duplicate the B it’ll turn it into a baby b however and we’re gonna have to raise that b up um so if I do have these two ready to go let’s go ahead and I think it’s just flowers so I think uh some roses will work I can

Go ahead and actually use this to grow some roses which is pretty handy and two flowers in there and as you can see it’s gonna use some power and it’s gonna take some time I can’t actually see the time but you can see the progress bar right there to speed this

Up of course you’re gonna have to use this and it’s gonna take a lot this is really still slow even at 32 times it’s still pretty slow now once you provide it with a cage there’s our crystalline V how cool is that now in world I believe this can be

Done we need our prosperity shards and I believe we just make a block and it just needs a block right and so if I spawn this in oh actually we gotta we gotta make this a bigger B I almost forgot we gotta turn this uh from a baby into an adult before

We do this process that’s also going to require another machine and that is a Bobby a Bobby oh my goodness incubator um and so yeah to do this we put I believe just the sturdy cage in there and we are gonna need treats so we’re gonna put treats in here

And I believe yeah 20 treats we’ll start this process up and of course this is another one of those processes that are going to take time of course you can put speed upgrades inside here to speed these processes up yeah this is something that’s 32 times seems to be a

Good amount I’ve got a little bit of time built up just from waiting on some of these things to happen but here we go this is ready to go and now we have a fully grown one and this is one of the in-world um ones that we have to do so I just

Click that and now we have ourselves a Prosperity B our Prost BB Prosper EB there we go Prosperity B nice now getting our prosperity b or process bro what is it called again oh my goodness uh Prosper EB set up I’m going to use the advanced Oak beehive here and then

I’m going to use the expansion box on the top so when you have all this set up you get the upgrade slots you get the bottles and you get a spot where you can put the B now this B needs this block somewhere to interact with I’m gonna go

Ahead and put the block right here for right now and when the B is in there not particularly this B by the way to get the B’s out I should be able to collect them when they’re out of here but I’ll leave this in for right now

Um the sturdy B if I click this in front it should automatically go into this V box hopefully and as you can see it’s already already found its block but it should go into here later on we’re going to turn these into virtual hives where they actually

Won’t come out of the hives which will be really nice not having tons of entities all over the place uh but that’s going to take a little bit of time and that kind of reminds me I need to now really get focused on getting the draconic Beast started now

For these draconic bees I’m going to use the advanced here so this is the uh the advanced beehive you can see right there and then the expansion box on top and now this is gonna be a little bit different I’m going to be using a feeding slab

Um now the feeding slab I do have one block away if you put it right up against here the bees actually can’t get out so the feeding slab is just one block in front and What needs to go in here is our precious dragon egg and this

Is why I made the slab it has an inventory where we can actually put the dragon egg instead of placing it on the ground you would probably don’t want to lose your dragon egg um and then I need to pop in here and find both of my draconic bees I would

Love to have these of course increased duplicated for sure um but I’m just gonna have to live with what we have right here so it should find this here hopefully yeah this one too should eventually make its way over here and not pop into a random Hive that we

Preferred it’ll pop into this hive so yeah hopefully that’s what it does hopefully it’ll eventually find its way over here I’m gonna make sure of that if it was night it would definitely instantly go into the hive all right I think it found its block there we go okay so yeah it’s probably

Gonna go into this Hive we need this to probably mix I need to probably make some speed upgrades for this and uh hopefully make this a little bit better now the reason why I want these draconic bees up and running is because they’re kind of important um the draconic bees produce this

Draconic dust material which comes from the centrifuge after you’ve getting the draconic Combs and uh these this material is used to make draconic chunks and that is used to make productivity upgrades make uh inactive dragon eggs which allow us to take these dragon eggs for example and use them on the bees

Um but yeah it’s really really important to have these materials for these upgrades so remember how I was saying that I wanted to make these bees virtual so they don’t actually come out of their hive well it’s actually pretty doable let’s go ahead and make an upgrade and

We need to make what is called a simulator and that’s basically all we need however this feeding slab I believe we might have to place it one block lower uh but we’ll see we’ll see so simulator is made just like this and when I put this

Upgrade in we get a new slot that allows us to pull bees out of this Nest uh which is fantastic so I kind of want to pull these particular bees out and you can see that’s going to pull the bees there we go and I want to make sure to

Put the appropriate bees in um let’s see we want the dragon only I believe conic only and I think yeah when we put the B there it makes it a little easier to just get the bees that we want inside and now they should just stay in

Here and we can add the productivity and stuff upgrades and I want to do the same for this as you can see this one’s already doing a pretty good job over here and I’ve got to make a simulation upgrade for it as well now once you have the simulator set up

Um also make sure that it is daytime let’s go ahead and sleep real quick because I believe these do I it’ll tell you on the stat menu I should probably check that but on the stat menu it’ll tell you if they will work this says dinero which I think

Means it works both at night and day um but we should be able to accelerate this box and it’s technically what it should be working and we should hopefully see some Combs um now these are going to be very very slow uh and it may not be able to detect this block here

So what I could do is do it the way that I know definitely works and that is placing it one block down and then placing it in ah and there it goes so it needs to be one block below the main block it is kind of weird but that’ll

Work as you can see me using my speed upgrades or not my speed upgrades using my time in the bottle definitely affected this and uh this is the way to do it I think raising these up one block off the ground maybe putting a fence post underneath them and then having

This setting on the ground was the best best look I think now last time I played around with this mod I didn’t really realize at the start that there was a upgrade to the centrifuge so by default the centrifuge is pretty cheap right but there’s two other stages there’s a

Powered centrifuge which starts to go up in price right and then there’s the heated centrifuge which requires an inactive dragon egg that we’re gonna get later on this is definitely the way to go the heated centrifuge is so fast fast especially when you add the speed upgrades and everything to it oh it’s

Fantastic but early on this is a pretty good method later on we’re going to get this upgraded and we’re gonna get it all automated so that way all of these resources and and stuff that it generates will be processed um I believe this also generates honey yeah generates Honey by the way it’s

It’s a slim chance but as you can see without speed upgrades there we go we have our Dragon dust once we have enough of this we can make an inactive dragon egg and then upgrade the centrifuge it’s going to be fantastic also can’t wait to get the productivity upgrades oh it just

Generates so much more Honeycombs so one last upgrade I think I want to put in here is this upgrade so this should hopefully Auto breed it gives you a five percent chance once it happens but it should potentially Auto breed and put babies in here now I don’t know if the

Babies mature while they’re while they’re inside of this or not but even so it is cheaper than putting them in in here and then spending all of the the treats and such so hopefully they will automatically breed go in here and then hopefully mature that’s that otherwise man I don’t know about you

Guys but I’m about all beat out oh boy this has been uh pretty fantastic day getting all of this set up takes a lot of starting time now that we have it set up though it’s going to become pretty productive from this point forward so of course while our bees are
