Hey guys in this tutorial i’ll guide you through how to install and set up realistic 3d textures in minecraft these texture packs are also known as pbr which i will be running with custom shaders if you have any questions let me know in the comments below and hope you enjoy Okay so first you’ll need optifine and shaders that support pbr i recommend using bsl shaders as it is the most popular i will leave links in the description next you’ll want to find a pbr texture pack you want to install i recommend using curseforge and searching pbr under resource packs Once you’ve found a texture pack you like check the resolution before downloading it as this will affect your fps and how the game will look the resolutions commonly range from 16x all the way up to 2048x for best performance i recommend 128x or 256x anything lower will look highly pixelated and anything higher Will impact your fps click download and then drag and drop the file to your desktop next you’ll want to launch minecraft go to options resource packs and open the pack folder you will then want to drag and drop the zip file into the resource pack folder now go back into the game select Rotoblocks by clicking on the arrow and then click done next check to see if the texture pack is installed by loading up a world or server now you can see the texture pack is installed you’ll need to enable advanced materials which can be done by going to options video settings Shaders shader options material options and turn on advanced materials you will also need to set the resolution by going to normals and parallax you can set the resolution slider on the left to 256x to match the texture pack or set it to 128x for better performance If you still have low fps you can also disable reflections by going back once going to specular and reflections and turning off specular reflections and that’s it now you should have realistic textures in minecraft if you found this useful leave a like and a sub otherwise thanks for watching you Video Information

In this tutorial, I cover how to set up realistic PBR or 3D bump texture packs in Minecraft when running BSL shaders. I have found rotrBLOCKS to be the best to demonstrate 3D textures and both the shader and texture pack are free.
