AntVenom – EASIEST TRICK for INSANE MINECRAFT TERRAIN!

Hey guys antoine here and welcome back to another minecraft video now before you guys murder me for the title of this video i do actually want to show you guys one very simple trick for getting some of the most insane terrain generation you’ll ever see in vanilla

Minecraft it is actually one very simple trick and the way that you do it is when you are generating a new world and you go into more world options you set your world type to be customized then you go to the very last page or the second to

Last page and change this option called height stretch by default for default terrain it’s set to a value of 12 but what you want to do is bring this value down and the lower this value goes the more insane your terrain is going to get however this value is quite exponential

Meaning as you set the value lower and lower it’s going to go pretty slow at first like the amount of insanity that you see and then it gets really fast at the end so the difference between 12 and 6 is a lot less than the difference

Between six and zero so if i actually tried to generate this terrain on video on a brand new world then it would lag out my game because i am recording here so i have taken the liberty of generating five of these and i have cut

The value in half each time so let’s go ahead and let’s check out a stretch value of six again the default value is 12 for normal worlds so what you are going to find is that most of the terrain is pretty much usable and for the most part quite

Normal however when you start reaching more mountainous terrain then the terrain just gives up and goes almost completely insane here like i don’t think something this insane would generate with a standard world maybe if you were like really really really really lucky however as we check out the

Other areas here like the plains biomes and uh the roof forest biome you can see that things overall look quite normal so the terrain here is quite usable and something else to consider about this this option as well is that as you lower the height stretch value more and more

You’re going to get less usable cave system areas because this area that has the water will generate deeper and deeper and deeper thus cutting off cave systems that are down below the earth so i figure that this is a pretty good mix if you just want some insane terrain but

You don’t want everything to be quite insane so go ahead and check it out for yourselves so all right let’s go ahead and let’s move on to the height stretch of three and this is where things start to look insane pretty much all over so

If we go ahead and we load this up here again it’s taking a while to load even though i’ve pre-generated them so this is where a lot of the terrain starts to give up you can notice there are still some areas that can remain kind of flat specifically planes biomes like there’s

Some areas that look kind of normal but a lot more of the terrain is going absolutely bonkers here you can see that everywhere that i look there’s like weird floaty mountains even like these amazing sort of overhangs that are really at the top of the world here but

It takes a little bit like meaning there is it’s not everywhere so let me go ahead and let me show you guys some options where the terrain really gives up and gets really really insane so let’s go ahead and let’s save and quit here and check out cutting the option in

Half again so going from three stretch to 1.5 and again this is where it’s just like super insanity all around and yeah i mean let’s go ahead like look at this this is a roofed forest biome that is on an insane amount of hills that’s just awesome so again like even the plains

Biomes they just can’t really compete anymore they’re just going all over the place so yeah like this is this is pretty nuts so anyways i think you might also be able to tell as well is that the oceans might be a little bit deeper though i’m not too sure but we will

Definitely see that with some of the more increased options look there’s actually a pyramid that is in the water over there oh my god village wow the village actually picked kind of a normal spot to spawn in but yeah you can see the terrain everywhere is just insane so

Okay let’s step into the second to last option which is .75 so this is 0.75 again cutting the other option in half and yeah there is a noticeable difference between 1.5 and 0.75 so not even decreasing the number by one and yeah it’s insanity everywhere like it’s just everywhere you know just flying

Around here like yeah i don’t even really know what to say at this point it’s pretty much overhangs all over the place you can still see the sky though but man there isn’t really all that much of it so let’s go ahead and let’s just continue flying around here as i

Generate the terrain it’s going to go quite slow and you do want to bear in mind when you’re doing this if you use it for an actual survival world that you’re going to experience some tick lag the mobs are going to go kind of slow and you’re just going to have to deal

With block lag as you’re playing a map that is this insane so all right let’s just go ahead and let’s fly through here just a little bit more you can just see it it’s everywhere i almost can’t escape the amount of mountainous terrain that there is here and maybe i can’t escape

This this is yeah wow okay i’m gonna have to fly all the way up if i want to escape this so pretty awesome but there is one more option that i want to show you guys and this is just bringing the option all the way down to zero the

Lowest value that i believe you can set with this because i don’t think you can go into the negative that would be weird so anyways let’s go and let’s check out the option of zero and this is just as insane as the terrain will get it’s lagging just as much as it possibly

Could and funny enough i generated this terrain spawning directly on top of a village yeah and the village generated pretty much from the height limit all the way down to zero you can see that i’m about at the height limit right now like the height limit i believe is 255 or 256 and

At the top of this house is at like 255. it is at the height limit so let’s go ahead and let’s head down this area here and you can just see there’s just no such thing as normal terrain anymore it just doesn’t happen with the height limit like this this village is just

Completely destroyed i don’t understand how these villagers want to live in a terrain like this but they’re doing it because you know why not they they’re villagers they they run their own lives and you can’t tell them what to do so you can also see that when the height

Option is set to zero you can actually see the bedrock down there so if i go ahead and i do i think well i’m not exactly sure offhand what the effect is for um seeing underwater um i know it’s not respiration it might be depth strider

But anyways let’s you know let’s go and let’s check out let’s see effect anthony minecraft no not depth rider that’s an enchantment um but anyways let’s go and let’s do night vision here and then set it to that okay there we go so let’s go ahead and let’s check out underground here let’s

Go into game mode three and you can really see just how much of the world is being cut into by these super deep oceans everywhere that you can see bedrock is because the ocean is cutting into it or the water is cutting into it in some way so you can really see just

How much of your cave systems are going to be affected if you set the value to be this low now some of the terrain will be there like some of the ravines some of the caves will make it and you will be able to like actually get resources

All that stuff still generates but maybe i wouldn’t recommend this version for an actual real survival map but either way that was one simple trick to generate some of the most insane terrain you will ever see in vanilla minecraft and the beauty about this is that it will always
