A couple of days ago I released a video about an extremely old version of Minecraft called in dev where and I showed off how you can mess around with the world’s length width and height settings to get some really crazy results definitely check out that video If you haven’t already but I left that video a little incomplete maybe more incomplete than I should have but the reason I did that was because from the moment I started messing around with these in dev glitches I knew I was gonna make another video on the matter Well it’s quite easy to mess around with the world size options just by opening the MC level file there’s tons of other options to mess around with in that file some of which have some really awesome results so let’s go ahead and let’s check some of those out So all right getting started let’s take a quick look at what these MC level files look like to find out what else we can mess with house door then there’s five primary categories that have options within but only three that we’re gonna focus on for this video Since the About tab is useless and the tile entities tab mainly affects storage chests which we won’t be messing around with since we’ll be messing with our inventories directly anyways so tab number one environment if you take a look at the names of all of these settings it’s easy to tell that there’s Quite a lot that can be messed around with by modifying these options for cloud color fog color and sky color if we use this handy color integer conversion tool we can make clouds fog and sky any color that we want if you want to simulate an apocalypse situation Try out some dark red clouds red fog and a black sky or you can just go full unicorn mode if that’s your thing but alright next up is cloud height which I feel is pretty self-explanatory do you want the clouds to appear at feet level done do you want them to not show Up at all set them to zero and then there’s sky brightness again this one’s pretty self-explanatory in the latest version of Minecraft in depth that I have if I set this value to be anywhere between 0 and 15 that’ll determine how much light the Sun will provide two Blocks exposed to the sky if we set this value to anything outside of these values well lighting just kind of stops working it’s pretty cool though these next four values are pretty fun to mess around with the surrounding ground height and type along with water height and type settings allow you to modify The terrain that surround your map you can actually set the type of block to any valid block ID that you want so if you want to map surrounded by magenta wool well go for it or if you want to very slowly flood your map that can be Done as well by leaving the water type alone and setting the water height to be something higher than ground level interestingly enough though if you do flood your world save the map and undo the setting you’ll begin to see just how primitive Minecrafts initial water physics really were if you want to know Every thing about the map tab and what messing around with the world’s length width and height settings looks like definitely be sure to check out my first video about the subject because last but certainly not least is the entities tab specifically the sub tab that says 13 Entries within that tab exists all of the information about the player itself if you want to modify your inventory to have any valid blocker item that you want done your motion positioning and rotation information that’s possible to mess around with – and using the position settings it becomes possible to See that Minecraft in dev worlds stop rendering grass blocks at 2,176 blocks out and stops rendering the sky at 2560 blocks out but it’s not over yet yeah I’ve saved the best for last in minecraft in dev there’s almost no limit to how far out you can travel Using this method for some of these tests I’m gonna use a slightly older version of in dev which doesn’t slingshot me back towards the map from two thousand five hundred and sixty blocks out all the way to two to the power 23 or eight million three hundred and eighty eight thousand six hundred And eight blocks things are mostly pretty normal aside from there being no visible textures and the hitbox looking more and more stupid the further out you go if I set my coordinate beyond two to the power 23 this happens for whatever reason the surface is no longer solid at All allowing me to fall forever from this point from here all the way out to the 32-bit integer limit the hitbox just becomes more and more glitchy and beyond the 32-bit integer limit it disappears entirely yeah we can go beyond the 32-bit integer limit in this version of The game and finally from here all the way out to 2 to the power 127 pretty much nothing occurs anymore unless you’re on the version that does slingshot you back towards the map if that’s the case you can cover the distance from 2 to the power 127 all the Way back to the 32-bit integer limit which is a gap near as big as 2 to the power 127 to begin with in just under 5 minutes and as you approach the 32-bit integer limit as you’re being slingshot at the way back the Sun and Moon will begin to render Into your point of view in a progressively erratic manner up until the game crashes so yeah at this point I feel like I’ve done minecraft in dev some justice if you have any glitches that I haven’t covered before and want to share them with me hit me up on Twitter at twitter.com/zeromd ways guys that just about does it for me for now if you guys enjoyed this video please consider leaving a like on it because it would really help out myself the channel and the video quite a lot so anyways I hope you all enjoyed my name Is antvenom and i bid you all farewell thanks so
