Arise Minion (Minecraft Mage Quest | Part 30) [Necromancy 1.7.10]

Good evening and welcome back to mage quest emoji apparatus there’s a guy sneaking up behind me no no no no no good lord good evening and welcome back to mage quest i’m modi apparantus on today’s episode we’re in this atmospheric rainstorm here because we’re going to take off on

Dr frankenstein today we’re going to put some body parts together and then bring them to life things are going to get a little weird so let’s get going all right so as i mentioned today we’re going to do a little bit of a frankenstein takeoff here and we’re going to start playing with

Necromancy uh this will allow us to basically put some body parts together and then bring a minion to life to follow us around and attack guys for us and whatever else the inspiration for this episode here was actually brought to us by ryu dragon uh mr ryu dragon is a level 30 commenter

He’s always good about leaving good comments on the channel here and uh well basically mr j beatle his uh put a little bit of a darkest dungeon let’s play together here and he was incorporating my name and nook’s name and ryu’s name into the into the game as characters here and unfortunately

Mr ryu dragon’s character died in episode one so uh ever since then he has been a ghost around my comment section actually so i think what we’ll do today is put together a new body for him to inhabit that he can uh you know have a better chance of maintaining corpureal form here

And uh be able to still comment on everything here without using too much spirit energy of course anyways basically necromancy we’re still going to start we’re going from start to finish here uh because i haven’t done anything with it just yet uh so it’s gonna be kind of a we’re

Gonna dive in head first here the only thing we’ve done a ton of is gathering all of these uh different body parts and that kind of thing all these organs and that kind of thing we’ve been collecting from our our blood magic center over here our blood center yeah blood center that’s

The way to go um our blood center over here has been uh collecting lots of these things and i bet you there’s even more in here if i take a look inside this chest here oh yeah we’re already full we’ve got some lungs we’ve got some other thing in

Here this lungs that’s a heart uh but yeah we’ll use that kind of stuff here so wow yeah atmospheric atmospheric conditions here for a frankenstein thing here today anyways we need to go start to finish on this thing so we’re going to do a little bit of necromancy work so let’s

Type up necromancy here and look at all the stuff we can make with that so as you can see basically we need to make the different body parts that we’ll need now we can’t actually uh use the nei on these things we have to kind of look up the recipes um at

Various places around the internet which i’ve already done so i should be uh confident enough to get this done here today um oh we have isaac’s head we’ve got that i think we had one of these sunplays around here i don’t remember where though let’s put our armor back on here we’ll probably

Get our thermostatic engine to our thermostat harness because we’ll want to fly around a little bit here today um so what do we need to do to start with here basically the whole thing starts with the necronomicon the necronomicon requires a jar of blood so jar of blood is

Actually what we’re doing here and we can use a bucket of blood okay so that’s really cool actually let’s get a bucket and go grab some blood um where can we get some blood i know exactly where we can get the blood so this blood is going to fuel our uh necromancy here

Uh we’ll need it for a lot of different things and i think one bucket can make uh eight jars of blood in each jar of blood one jar of blood is gonna be used for the necronomicon and we’ll use jars of blood for other things here as well here so let’s

Head to the nether actually so we’ll put our harness on so we can fly around and we got a bucket here let’s grab another bucket of camp if we can we have another one someplace take a look inside of our white bag i got four more in here cool we’ll fill

All these up with butt we’ll have buckets and buckets of blood here and uh there’s some good spots to get in the nether here so let’s head in there and see what we can see and i think it shouldn’t be too tough at all to find these things

The uh things you might have seen around the nether uh let’s see h there we go then we can fly it’s so slow though we have to use that only when we need it um there’s these little these are called nether chalices i know there’s some over

By our old spawn base here oh there’s so many mobs here of these little youtubers and stuff running around here another is lousy with them um so we have to be careful of all those guys it’s been stuff to find gas in the uh the nether i was looking for gas tears

Last episode here and it seems like because there’s so many other things spawning here now that the gas just don’t want to spawn around me um which is a bit of an issue but we’ll manage and toby turner is burned to death of course he did

All right so let’s fly here and these things right here are called nether chalices and these should be filled with blood i don’t know whose blood i don’t know why it has blood but we’ll grab it all the same so we got buckets and buckets of blood

From necromancy so let’s fly back out of here and avoid uh who’s this guy packrat 0013 you can’t get away from me you stay away other thing we can do is grab blood from mobs too using a little bit of a what does it call it here we’re using these things here

Um these bone needles from necromancy we’ll need a lot of these actually so we’ll make a bunch of these here probably not the best time to do this right now but we’ll make up a ton of those so we have enough uh basically if we had jars

In our inventory we can uh just stab somebody with those and they’ll fill the jar with some of their blood so for instance we’re not gonna stab this guy over here because he’s gonna turn his old tribe against me if i do that but if we want this guy’s blood

And we had a thing on us we could just use that to uh steal his blood and so now we have the blood of the blood of uh what’s this guy a bar sayed i don’t know who that is oh my god a little too far at the top there

Go a little crazy all right so let’s head back to the overworld here now we have our buckets and buckets of blood here that’ll be more than we’ll ever need for this and basically what we’ll do now is put these together with some bottles and we’ll make some blood jars so grab

Some glass out of here get a bunch of bottles we’ll need a ton of these so put those together we’ll make some blood jars with a bucket here and we’ll put these other buckets away for a rainy day remember we might need some extra blood or something like that

You never know so we’ll throw these into here and now we have jars of blood now with jars of blood what we can do is the next step is to get a sole in a jar and to get a soul in a jar we need a scythe now bone size might be

Interesting it’s a bone with a regular scythe diamond oh so this is like the next level up first we have to start with the regular scythe which is a hoe a stick a jar of blood and some obsidian let’s see do i have obsidian anywhere let’s take this harness off because it looks

Ridiculous sometimes um obsidian where would i be where would i be if i was obsidian uh probably in one of these nope we have to get our own obsidian that’s coal in close uh there’s a name tag in there i’ll remember that for later all right let’s find up some of city

Let’s head down to the mine here quick and i’ll just grab a block obsidian so we can make this this scythe here won’t take more than a second or two all right i got a couple blocks of obsidian here and we need a iron hoe to make a scythe

Uh so i have the iron for that we have any wood on us i don’t or it’s not let’s grab some wood out of here and we’ll make ourselves a scythe and you know i really need a crafting table in here too you run it over here all right so we’ll

Make a hoe with this like so there we go this here we need a another stick and one of our jars of blood and we get the scythe cool so this does six damage and basically what we have to do is land the final hit with one of these

And then we’ll get a soul in a jar so let’s go see if we can find somebody to i hit with this thing here i just want to clear my packages a little bit here so we have uh room for a soul in a jar

Here let’s go take a look around and see if there’s somebody who can hit to steal their soul now we need to uh put a soul into ryu dragon so whose soul we want to use let’s see if there’s a cool youtuber we can steal the soul of to throw into him

Um wow the one time i need to actually find one of these guys there’s no no one be found here we give him the soul of an eagle i think we that’s a good idea let’s see let’s try it that work oh we got him the soul of an eagle that’s perfect

What what else what else does he need okay so we have to we can just i don’t know what ryu looks like or anything about him really i know he’s a great commenter so i’m just going to basically piece them together as best i can soul of an eagle sounds perfect to me

Though so we got a soul of an eagle uh we also need to make the necronomicon which requires a book some leather an ink sack a jar of blood and a feather we have all that i’m sure let’s grab the feathers out of here let’s grab so actually let’s grab some

Of this out of here because we need a lot of leather for everything here so we’ll grab this and take this over to our botania station here because we have the alchemic crafting thing over here so let’s drop it into here and just make a ton of leather for ourselves so beautiful i’m

So glad we did uh we did botani early on here because this is a huge help for things like this so we don’t have to get any farms or anything like that oh my god you want to go to sir i can give some more souls

Or suck to the reaper of souls and we get another soul for ourselves very cool all right so now we got some leather we can make ourselves a book and we can make ourselves a necronomicon so let’s uh put this together like this make a book for ourselves

And then we’ll need a couple of these probably let’s make a few books because i have so much room in my pack right now i should use it up oops not that there we go so we use up makes more room in our pack here and then um

What else do we need uh we need to do a jar of blood a feather we need some nether wart which i can grab around here uh once again over my pack so let’s throw some stuff into here now what can i throw under there uh

Let’s throw this gold sword what is the gold sword doing here anyways uh the obsidian we don’t need now bones we’re good on okay so let’s grab some uh another word from over here we need a feather we need blood and we need uh leather right is that

What it was for the necronomicon yes for leather blood and ink sac which i grabbed a couple of it before we started recording here so ink blood feather book leather and the final step is the netherwart and that should do the trick oh switched up the netherwart and the other thing here

We got two of them let’s not make two of them because we don’t need more than one alright so we’ve got the necronomicon next thing we need to do here is make a basically a crafting table the main block for necromancy is this table that we’ll make right now let’s get rid

Of this here okay uh what we need is a couple of cobblestone that’s way too much but that’s fine we land on a couple of cobblestone right here and then we’ll put down a wood plank at the end of it here and that will create the necronomicon wait wait that won’t create the

Knockout it’s gonna create an altar summoning altar amazing it’s beautiful this is what’s gonna you we’re gonna use this to craft our bodies so we put blood into here we put souls into here and then we can make whatever we want to make um what we want to do now is create the

Next step here which is the sewing machine to make bodies we need to make skin so we need a lot of string and we’ll need a lot of bones uh and bone meal to make these let me have plenty of uh bone needles though we’ll need some iron out of here and we

Don’t have quite enough made here one cool thing i did make here recently was this uh compacting drawer which is fantastic for uh keeping metals i’m gonna switch this to all my metals eventually basically click here and it gives you a ingot you click here

Gives you a block click here gives you a nugget for whatever you need i’m gonna do a lot more of those things in the future here because it’s really really cool um okay so let’s put together this whole uh little sewing machine here because this is gonna let us craft our body parts

For mr ryu dragon and we need blood oh i got rid of all the blood already let’s put some more blood back in our hot bar here so we need more of those right any blood for this no we need a bone needle never mind we don’t need blood

We need string and the bone needle so like this bone needle string and that’s our sewing machine cool so let’s put the sewing machine let’s put it over here against the wall maybe let’s put it on top of something too so it looks nice there we go we’ll do over sewing over

Here for body parts and now we have to actually start making body parts so what we’ll do here is what it takes is uh it takes a lot of these needles and it takes string now we don’t have very much string unfortunately because my little uh thing over here is

Not set up to catch spiders so we need to make a point to make sure we get every single spider we can see with uh because we need lots of string for this kind of thing anyways what we can do is put leather into here and out of leather we make

Skin a little more bit i know but uh that’s that’s how it has to be unfortunately and then with the skin this is what you use to craft your body parts now we’ll also need lots of bones for this too here so to do this we need to actually follow

Some recipes that people look you have to look up online because you can’t actually view them through here these body parts you can find in chests and that kind of thing but you have to craft them and the recipes aren’t built into the game uh because

They’re kind of specific to the mod pack so rather than mod rather so we have to decide what we want our friend here to be um i think what we should do one of the things i’ve threatened to do is give him some squid legs so we’re going to totally do that

First of all here so in order to do squid legs what we’ll do is uh legs are like this and we need bones here too um so let’s grab some bones oh i already grabbed something cool so we’ll be bones and bones oops so oh not leather we need skin so we put

Skin here and skin here and then we put bones uh here and here and then we need blood also we don’t we need uh body parts let’s see where those go let’s grab all that out here okay let’s throw this stuff in here let’s throw this in here

A lot of stuff we don’t need right now um let’s see don’t we need those for sure don’t need this don’t need that keep these okay so that should be good and then we’ll grab out the body parts we need if we need muscles we need hearts

We need brains and we need lungs all right cool so now we should be able to do this so legs are uh two muscles some skin like so this is getting a little weird already um and some bones like so and actually the skin is here yes and then whatever you want to

Put in here to basically this determines what your thing is going to be so we pull ink in here and it creates squid legs all right so let’s attach those to our body here and we can see the legs are ready to go oh my god this is going to be terrifying

Um then we’ll go with uh what do we want for his head to be um do we have that isaac head around here because that would be perfect uh if we could find where that where i left that that’d be great i think it might be over the witcher hut let’s go

Take a look over there it’ll be worth it if we can’t find it i thought i had isaac head but i’m not completely certain about that i do have an isaac head okay so that’s perfect we’ll give him the head of an isaac and that’s actually a really good one

Because basically isaac will spit tears uh at his foes here so we’ll give him an isaac head so head is taken care of now for arms what can we give him for arms let’s see here quick uh what do we have on us we don’t want squid arms we’ve already done that we

Can give him skeleton arms we could give him oh you know we can give him we can make him a really cool ally here let’s give him um first we need arm like this we need bones in here like this and we’ll give him the iron work

Maybe it’s iron blocks let’s take a look and see if iron blocks work because we can give him an iron golem arm maybe that would be interesting let’s try that let’s give him one iron golem arm if possible so let’s go uh skin through here bones through here and

Muscle oh we can okay so he’s got one iron golem arm and i guess the other arm will do as a cow maybe i don’t know what should we do for the other arm let’s see let’s do it let us do a cow arm

No no cow arms uh what do we have on us anything we can use okay we’ll give him one iron golem arm and we’ll give him one zombie arm here he’s rotten flesh for that i think give them a zombie arm and an iron golem arm

Takes up a lot of leather as you can see but luckily they give you uh eight per leather or they explore skin rather but you get eight per leather that’s a good thing and then we’ll go with a thing here and we’ll give him a zombie arm okay let’s throw the arms on

Our thing here um let’s throw the arms on him let’s see how he looks oh my god it’s gonna look ridiculous uh the iron goal of arm might be a little bit too much you might not actually even be able to walk around with that arm on there but

Um it’ll have to do we’re going with it we’re going with it um and what we’ll do here for the other for the torso let’s grab some gunpowder and you’ll have a creeper torso so uh we’ll need one more i think for that actually and we’ll go assemble that okay so what

We need for this is uh i think it’s like this and we need uh both a lungs and a heart for this one and then we put in some gunpowder no that’s not quite right hmm what are we missing oh and you’re missing bones there we go and he gets a creeper torso

So now we can uh all right there he is mr ryu dragon this is him i think that the iron golem arm might be a little bit much i think what we should try to do i think we should do something else for because i don’t think that arm’s gonna

Quite work with this particular character here uh let’s do a different arm actually altogether here let’s do uh let’s see um let’s do a villager arm maybe yeah let’s do a villager arm and see how that goes i don’t know what a village arm gets you that the other things don’t

There we go oh yeah that’s perfect okay great so mr are you dragon live oh my god he’s he’s terrifying oh no we created a monster can we name him that’s my next question here um let’s see uh let’s go to our anvil downstairs here and uh let’s name this as

Let’s try it let’s try it ryu dragon mr ryu dragon and we’ll uh see if we can name it hopefully we can where’d he go there he is oh my god oh we can’t name it oh no let’s go downstairs here quick come here let’s go try this sometimes this will

Work with villagers if you want to name a villager you have to stand inside of the uh the nether portal here he’s coming down here he is okay if we stand inside of here nope doesn’t work okay now he’s free to move all right so we can’t actually name but

Obviously we know that’s ryu dragon here i mean can’t just just look at him you can tell right it’s perfect so now hopefully he won’t be a ghost anymore he can live uh once again in corporeal form here uh we’ve brought him back to life man you are a monster

I have to say uh it’s a little little terrifying but uh he will fight guys for us if we ever get into any battles around here it basically works like a wolf uh he won’t attack anything unless it attacks you or you attack it so otherwise he’s just gonna walk around

And follow us around here all right so now that we’ve got ryu on our side here let’s go take him out for a stroll in the night air here and see if we can uh see how he holds his own against some enemies here and see what he how he

Stands up to uh conflict all right so we’re gonna try out mr ryu dragon in battle here and see how he does here he is let’s go see let’s stick him on somebody here and see how he is uh we got this guy right here for instance who is this guy

Edelman trot there we go get him get him get him guys there he goes he’s going after that guy uh he’s doing okay he’s holding his own doesn’t do a lot of damage he seems can’t decide between one oh you’re not too bad not too bad way to go right you

Way to go um so if we want to make a gigantic army here we need a lot to string uh so i think what we’ll do here is between episodes here i think i’m gonna take a break here and uh next episode we’ll come back we’ll do a little bit more necromancy

Hopefully we’ll have amassed a ton of string that we can use to create a massive minion army here and we’ll see how many minions we can actually make that can follow us at a given time here so i hope that you enjoyed this episode of mage quest there’s some strength um i’ll
