Not too long ago we had a tank battles match it was what was it 3 hours that was a long stream Marathon the phone was almost dead the gimbal died that was great it was crazy it was fun we’ll probably leave a little clickable link up for you there today we’re talking about

Minecraft now I picked you two in particular because I knew I needed somebody who’s had some Minecraft experience so let’s start with Stephen what’s your Minecraft experience to dat I remember played it a lot when I was much younger uh didn’t do a lot of redstone or whatever but I remember when

They first added stackable doors to the game so I remember the old old like old I don’t remember what one dot whatever it was but I we played it you and me and a couple of our friends played quite a bit and then we stopped for a long time

And then Minecraft had a big Resurgence we’ve been playing since then now that we’re older a lot of our school is out of the way we can just enjoy the game without the yeah servers multiplayer good stuff yep we have a we actually have a server for the store here that we

Play that’s quite fun very chaotic it’s extremely chaotic but you know it’s got some deep lore on that it does actually very very entertaining but uh yeah on and off casual player nothing crazy of course but there’s a Lego bit of a Lego overlap so that’s that’s something you

Can interpret into you like to build you like to build yeah you like to build so Malachi what’s your Minecraft experience so I’ve actually been a Minecrafter since birth um ever ever since I could remember I was always playing Minecraft so very young got very young I very I

Got started and I don’t like to brag or anything but I do consider myself the local Minecraft expert okay I am I am him um I’m the guy I’m the Minecraft guy Redstone building anything I’m just I’m all PVP you know what so I started this

Is this is a big history point for me I started on Console Minecraft okay started on Xbox 360 and then I made the transition to computer and that really changed it all that really changed it all big upgade big big upgrade and so on there PVP and stuff like that but yeah

So I am a I am a deep MRA yeah Minecraft fan that’s right I’m glad we got you on the panel today then that’s great I’m happy to be here my experience is very similar to Stephen played a little bit early on dropped out but then have now

Picked it up the past four or five years been enjoying it kind of like a lot of people’s Lego Journey you know they play and they a dark age in Minecraft but so like our kind of format for between the studs we usually bring out a couple items each to talk about

And in this case we’re talking about Minecraft sets we’ll probably do a follow follow up with Minecraft minifigures at some point if this video does well awesome drop a like com that would be just as but we each have five sets I think we’re going to start with

Stephen today do you want to present your first Minecraft set and why you like it so yeah are we going to start smaller sets to bigger or I think we want let’s let’s let’s keep keep them waiting for the big ones at the end sounds good sounds good well I have one

That I really enjoy and i’ I’ve bought elements of it personally but I’ve never actually bought the full set cuz we get a lot of little lot of little kids trade this stuff in so we get which are really fun too but this one is what is this called it’s the the nether

Bas so the Bastion is a pigin fortress if you ever played the game uh it’s very hard to get the the treasure out of these things there’s a lot of guards they’re very dangerous and they’re usually surrounded by lava which is like instant death in Minecraft uh my

Favorite element about this actually is the Brewing you can do but you can only do it with the um Nether wart mushrooms so this element’s a fun really hard to get item and you’ve got a lot of the Minifigures are really cool you’ve got the TNT element the pigin the pigs

Really fun but I also there’s two elements in here that I really like one from the game one just for playing with so the Striders are really really useful in the game you can ride on top of the lava you’re safe and sound this Pleasant little animal is like you’re leading

Along with a with a with a with a carrot that’s a really useful part of the game cuz I hate going in the nether it’s so dangerous you can die so easily yes but this bad boy here this little Lava Monster I don’t have one normally there’s one somewhere in the store at

All times mag mag Cube yes these things are so much fun there are elements in here their axles that can slide you can make it hop and down cuz it does jump in the game it’s so satisfying it’s a really well-designed little piece there for this set it has the square chest

Which is very cool to have as well so yeah um my favorite parts of the of the nether in the worst parts of the game like the worst area of the game My Favorite elements in one set which I do very much like so this is definitely my

First pick I saw it immediately got to get this is a very stressful situation to be in in the game this is a fun Lego but if you’re here in the game you’re freaking out it’s very hard but all the elements that make it better are here like theer and thetion netherite

Weapons yeah is it netherite weapon got the helmet and the sword oh man and I love that and it’s the darker it’s the darker it’s a unique it’s a unique design from the other helmet pie like theame design it is it has the chin guards that’s really cool so it’s not

Just the standard IR yeah so they really went the the whole n yards with it that’s good that’s awesome so Stephen I was really surprised when you pulled this set I’m like the nether is awful it is but this is my these are my little Comfort creatures you know they’re so

Helpful if you go down to H double hockey sticks in least have a friendly a friendly ride friend friendly Ste to take you along those little glimmers of Hope in this really like it it really like oh once I’m on the Strider like everything’s going to be okay

Everything’s going to be fine so it’s a nice feeling and that really invokes that feeling and not to get too philosophical and for the podcast listeners this is set number 211 185 the nether Bastion 300 pieces even how much does this go for now it’s 35 bucks that

Should still be retail on lego.com and here in the store one of the newer sets M that’s a good one a good I definitely enjoy it and uh yeah this one is definitely a fun and it’s a nice compact set with a lot to offer absolutely it is

Yeah that’s great set to start off Stephen but Malachi do you have I do have a set to start us off with and it is the bakery okay Bakery yeah yeah so I’m going to get to it so this is actually 2022 uh one of the reasons I like this set in

Particular from a Lego standpoint I love the colors of some of the pieces we’re getting for the top yeah for the top of the for the top of the bakery nice to have those parts I really like that I will say I do wish it could have been

Built in more uh maybe have a more of a back and more enclosed but the colors are great I love I love I love the villager figure love the villag figure I love his hat that’s so oh yeah his hat looks great um but the main part about

This set that is absolute takeaway is the goat now not to be confused with the official leg of the goat yeah yeah yeah yeah this is the Minecraft goat okay not the other goat I don’t know much about I’ve heard there’s some controversy about a goat or something like that it’s

Tragedy actually try oh Tragedy well listen there’s no tragedy here because this is a great little set it got it’s got cool figures you know we got a creeper you always good to have a creeper SW diamond sword but the a great villager a great goat build you got a

Bucket of milk which yeah yeah you a bucket of milk how awesome is that can you milk the goats I don’t know if you can milk the goats I don’t think cheed I haven’t checked we’ll have to figure that out the Lego designers are making up some features in Minecraft here

But that actually remind can I bring up a little detail yeah go for not to interrupt anything but uh where is it yeah so you see right here you can maybe do a closeup this is the Minecraft cake Lego accidentally made a round cake in the game the cake is square like

Everything else in on the um inventory icon it’s round is it really so yeah it’s not a square cake so leg go well I’ll just make a round cake and the Minecraft Community was like that needs to be square so they came back and they made a square one so they basically

Rectified a bit of a a mixup there by accident good this is them appeasing the fans the right way oh yeah for sure no that’s good but you know like I said it’s a very small it’s a very simple set but there’s just some elements in here

That make it worth the while just like the goat and the pieces and really the Villager fig is super cool I wish that they started with a little bit of a wheat farm it looks like but you know there’s some other sets that have better

But this could I would love to have have been built out more and kind of more of a of a building but it’s just it’s a nice little starter entry Minecraft set exactly now is this uh this what price is this and what year would be looking

At okay so this is from 2022 yep and right now it is uh $25 it’s $25 very nice starter yeah a good entryway into getting Lego Minecraft yeah we’re not dropping the giant at the we’re we building up we got some stuff though if you’re on a budget if you want to have

Some Minecraft characters want Creeper sure for 25 you’re getting four really good design characters and Minifigures and yeah I think a nice nice package absolutely but so on that goat subject though uh Lego made a goat I think it was around 20 15 uh no no 13 14 I think yeah a few

A while ago now almost a decade ago uh Lego made a goat and it’s it’s it’s hundreds hundreds of dollars to get a goat yeah hundreds of it’s like 150 if you get a really good one yeah basically really so Lego said oh we’re going to

Make a goat again don’t worry and people are like you are you’re going to make a goat and then so guess what go ended up being the Minecraft goat not the one that they wanted really so people were a little bit so there’s controversy over there this is a great Minecraft goat but

It’s not the Lego goat that people are looking for because they they they said a long time ago we’re never going to make that mold again they made some sheep and pigs and whatever like the goat’s gone for good we’re like why and well it just is now some people said the

Mold got damaged some people said it was other weird reasons or whatever but lots of rumors they limbo and that thing spiked in value but this goat is very affordable at $25 in the whole set great a couple more figures goat yeah this this is this is the goat this is the

Goat I’m telling you Minecraft is the goat and this is the goat but Mark you got something for us I I got my starter set over here this is one that also was featured in our best underwater sets and it was one that I picked out for that

Too this is the guardian battle it features a lot of the underwater ele m in Minecraft some of the my favorites here are the obviously the giant Guardian from those little spike ball uh things that can not only stop you from mining but they can really do some

Damage it’s quick boss fight instant but to help this lone character underwater you have three different color Axel and these are excellent little Lego animals but they also just are super cute oh 100% yeah you got the Trident with the divers outfit on the figure you’ve got a

Little glow squid in the back a nice little Arch as a background a little setting for this battle and uh yeah it’s 255 pieces set number 21180 I think this is also 2022 um sure is sure it is and that is also $25 but yeah what do you guys think

About the guardian battle this a fun little collection of characters well I first of all underwater sets and underwater models are quickly becoming really popular in the community and for good reason there’s a lot of new parts for it uh this one’s especially cool because the Axel especially for kids I

See at the store they really want the axle levels cuz they’re kind of hard to get in the game they’re colle collectible in the game the blue one’s really rare the gold one’s a little more rare the pink one’s pretty common um but yeah they’re really really they like

Pokemon got to catch them all they’re very you can you can um have pets you can have baby axotal too and stuff like that super super popular so and the character is really good too so all of these little element here the characters are really standing out to me the Bell

Diver is really fun and the glow squid the glow squids are kind of lame in the game but this one actually looks it’s a cool build it looks cool it’s a nice design the dark everything yeah and you know like you were saying about the Axel

Autles I love I love I love this thing the attachment you can put on and it looks like they’re swimming around them and I think that’s so wonderful because in the game if you put them out they’ll follow you like that in the ocean so and

I also just love to see that Lego is kind of looking into the Minecraft community and seeing like okay the Axel are super popular they love them how does it work let’s Implement that into a set so I think this is a really cool set

I do wish to build kind of could have been bigger but the the yeah5 25 bucks you get two Guardians I mean that’s pretty awesome I love the Trident loveer by the way they’re kind of like LEL Spears they’re an interesting design for the Guardians uh both both very

Effective in their own way so bigger scale and smaller scale for sure M terrifying yeah that’s my story set I’m actually probably going to pick this one up sooner rather than later I don’t have a lot of Minecraft but this is one that I just can’t oh you know what and I just

Realized that the guardian actually shoots out a missile like their their laser attack be yeah that’s super which do you want to know some lore about a guardian some secret lore so Minecraft has doesn’t have they have they have lore but it’s not public so it’s all you

Know speculation yeah it’s not official yeah it’s not off well no there is an official lore we just don’t know it Mojang knows it we don’t and so people speculate that Guardians in Minecraft are actually robots oh and if you and why is when they attack you in a game

It’s almost like a laser beam attaches on to you and follows you and then they shoot you with a laser and if you listen it sounds like a robot they sound it sounds like a robot shooting you with a laser so some people think they’re robots spiky robots spiky

Robots little bit little bit of lore a robot fish that’s a good that’s a good theory but that’s my first I think three top tier sort of starter sets yours is a little bit Ste not bad yeah yeah I got another one I’m going go going to do an unorthodox one here okay

Oh yeah no you’re next to you this is an interesting one and it’s kind of unique to the Minecraft theme but we have the buildable ones so I bought these These are mine I have this creeper it’s been modified it’s it usually has a different head design and it has like a

Little um gunpowder piece that fits in there um but I don’t think this one has it it’s just the ball joint but it’s pretty much the same thing but yes Lego never really does this they don’t have um buildable characters for their their other characters like there’s like

Ant-Man like that’s about it and then you’ve got like Optimus primeus Prime is like this big uh the Minifigures that are buildable they’re like this big like it’s a totally different thing but to have like a handheld size character it’s kind of unique to Minecraft they’ve got

Alex they’ve got Steve almost like an action figure almost like got the Minecraft pig I think they have a cow too um there’s actually quite a few of these and they’re honestly kind of fun like they’re fun to play with you guys ever see me on on old gray bricks like

Sometimes at the end of the stream I’ll just like hold this up to the camera and then like zip it away like I’ll do it through the side like my arm will be like around little Des you know what these are great for a little desk thing

Yeah they’re really fun so they’re fun little builds they’ve got not a ton of pieces but I honestly think that it what you get you you get a lot for for for your bank for your buck they have a lot to offer I think they’re really fun and

Posable so yeah yeah this is the creeper and the OT we don’t have the set number or pricing info on on the table here but these were from I think around 2018 or 19 uh 2020 2020 okay yeah mhm but yeah what’s funny in the game the uh creepers

Are scared of cats they’re scaredy cats and can chase the creeper around which is what they do that’s hilarious that’s the reason you want one of these cats in the game like you can you can give them fish and then they want to follow you around and they scare off the creepers

Who are one of the wor if you don’t know what this thing is you have to admire the commitment to their trade such PTSD when when you hear that uh-uh they’re the quiet they’re the quietest monster in the game and they will sneak up behind you and they explode

They’re literally like they’re they’re super destructive they’ll destroy your house they’re quite dangerous they icon they’re I and any crafter out there knows what we’re talking about and if you don’t don’t look it up you’ll have nightmares no yeah it’s PJ but these are really cool you know these are pretty

Much the size that probably a regular Minecraft action figure would be so it’s kind of cool that Lego’s kind of getting into that market yeah for sure well I you say that but they’re kind of not really doing it much anymore they don’t switching back to the Minifigures great

Which is shame because I think Lego um they could really you know go I think are super unique yeah do something a little out of the box y mhm so yeah I like that unique cool it’s good stuff but yeah great second set there Stephen and then we’ll move on with Malachi

Second set here so I have another in level Minecraft set and that is the zombie cave all right and this zombie cave is from 2018 so a little bit older a little bit older sets uh and so it’s a very simple set when you look at it but

There’s one reason I really enjoy this set and it is that it comes with a baby zombie Minecraft figure the second worst mob in the game let me tell you something about the baby zombie okay you’re having a great time on Minecraft you just you just got a lot of diamonds

A couple emeralds you know got a lot a couple stacks of coal yeah you’ve been busy you’ve been grinding and you’re on the way back to your home camp and look They’re laughing cuz they can relate all of a sudden a miniature on yeah that’s actually really

Good that’s actually really good a baby zombie is sprinting full Full Speed Ahead at you they’re fast they’re so f are they the fastest mob in the game on the land they’ve got to be they’re so fast yeah they’re they’re twice as fast as the big zombies yeah and they’re so

Little so when you’re trying to swing their hit box is only this big compared to a regular zombie and you can’t hit them in you’re running and they kill you all the time and then there’s like a couple of them attack you on oh yeah if there’s more than one baby zombie you

Might as well just jump in lava because you’re losing everything there’s no chance of survival and even on the back of this uh this set you can kind of see that the baby zombie is hiding around the corner because he’s a malicious little thing yeah he’s going to come and get him pure

Evil it’s great but yeah really and I do like it came with a bat too I think the bat’s cool I actually really like the bat I like the B basically useless in the game but I think they’re actually really cool I I I usually forget that

They exist in the game until I see them because they’re just there but it’s a cool little set something else I love it comes with a cookie it comes with a cookie it’s Steve’s hand I love cookies okay the way you said that sure but no I think there’s some very good basic

Pieces in here I think it comes with yeah it comes with TNT comes with a furnace a couple ores red stone there’s coal there’s some iron ore so this could be an entry level set to where you could maybe build it differently and kind of

Make your own entry to a cave right here um and it comes with some cool figs the baby zombie a good Steve and just a good old regular zombie yeah this is a classic Minecraft set all the stuff you need you needie Steve with some iron out like

This is reminiscent of what you would see on the front of a Minecraft uh like poster or yeah for sure right on the front of the game or or like little advert or something like that for sure of the disc like the disc box back when those existed when we

Bought yes yeah you know what I’m saying back when we went to Walmart to pick out a game I remember those days yeah there’s there’s a lot of fun little to the game too you have the fences you have the ladders you’ve got the the flowers you can collect in the game the

Torch the torch is super iconic you’ve also got the sugar cane and a lot of cool ores you actually have the coal you’ve got the gold you’ve got Redstone so there’s a lot of playable features I think a lot of I think there’s some trap door elements in here too as well

Gra gravel some gravel you could drop on on something or other yeah so there’s a lot the character are really fun too and yeah that baby zombie I don’t think he’s unique to this set but he’s not common so it’s really but this is a good set to

You know small you don’t have to buy a massive set to get a little baby zombie exactly and this set right now is going for $40 like we said it’s from 2018 and the set number is 21141 the old Minecraft stuff you’re going to start seeing it the more we

Dive into these they uh the price goes up really fast faster than most sets that I’ve noticed and I guess you we could contribute that to the rise of Minecraft in general I think so it’s just it’s surging kind of right now when you have a Minecraft Lego collection a

Lot of them are completionists so you have to go back and get this stuff that they haven’t made in years seen I don’t think we’ve really addressed it but it is the 10y year anniversary of Minecraft setz the first one was released in 2013 and it’s 2023 really that’s right with

The original cuso that’s really crazy no for 10 years years it’s St making me feel old man good G yeah the game itself is even older than that oh well that’s understandable Yik that’s a good one yeah no problem no problem all right what’s my next one here okay this is a

Good one here this is also slightly larger than my last one this is the Mushroom Island the Mushroom Island best biome in the game if you’ve played Minecraft for a while you’ve probably at at some point encountered this rather rare biome which the mushroom Bome and you can get these these mushroom cows

Which are unique to that biome you got the giant mushrooms you got the distinct looking gray terrain on top of the the dirt so it’s very unique this is a very modular build it has three different chunks can be assembled together oh that’s nice it’s got a couple different

Characters there so you also have a creeper here which is dishonest which is inaccurate because on the mushroom uh biome no hostile mobs spawn they’ll spawn on the edges in great numbers but not on that SP oh sorry go ahead so it’s very interesting to see that they wanted to

Include a little uh story there but it’s you would normally be very peaceful on a mushroom Island so but yeah what do you guys think about the mush mushroom I want to say mushroom whenever I mushroom it’s more fun mushroom cuz you got the mushroom cow yeah I say mushroom yeah

You know what I love that it comes with a baby mushroom cow as well as a an adult one and now you guys are going to have to help me with this is has there ever been a mushroom in a Lego set when you shear it and it turns brown oh do

You know about that no I don’t know about you know about that I I I I know you can do that my yeah not ever referenced in sets I don’t think it’s not okay so if you guys didn’t know in Minecraft you can as you would go Shear

A sheep and the wool drops you can go to a mushroom and sheer and mushrooms drop off and it kind of turns from looking like this mushroom no it turns into a it kind of turns into a brown mushroom cow it’s super Co it’s super there’s some

Deep lore for you but anyways does it go back to this one you know what I think if it eats the grass it’ll grow it back but I love the baby I also love the boat that’s in this set comes with a little boat that’s neat yeah great little

Combination of pieces you got a little bit of wheat over there a little bit of sugar cane some mushrooms on the ground a crafting B I noticed a little bit of a trend too you get the sugar cane and the wheat and the other things they seem to

Pop up quite common in theame you got every Minecraft set think of the wheat field you could make with more like a realistic wheat the valley of wheat from 22t they’ be like that there’s another Minecraft reference that probably went over yep yeah I like the set too it’s

Definitely one of those biomes like if you’re stressed out in the game and you don’t know where to put your base you see one of these it’s like oh finally I don’t have to get a creeper it’s a it’s a rare biome it’s one of the rarer ones so it’s definitely very

Exciting to find them it’s not a familiar site it’s like but when you do it is amazing because the potential to have a safe base is woo it’s big absolutely definitely a very fun set I’ve been looking for one of these boms in our latest server because I’m looking

For somewhere where there’s just a little bit safer than littleit sa now people can still get to you other players can still get to our friends in chaos server can still find you but this at least the mobs won’t no the mobs won’t exactly we say mob we say monsters

That’s like the name you give to the Hostile creatures that want to kill you yeah Minecraft term yeah yeah you’re learning stuff yeah welcome to Minecraft 101 this is only the second set that I brought up but Stephen you’ll be bringing up your third here what’s that

Oh by the way there’s a compass in that set I just notic yeah so there is a compass how about that diamond third one is ah another rare biome we got all the rare biome sets yeah this is an ice spikes set so this is a rare one the set

Is actually not particularly common it came out uh that’s one of the older ones 2017 okay so that’s the oldest one so far it’s so far the oldest one this is a really cool one it also has the modularity which is very cool to see the ice spikes biome just talk about that

Real quick it’s very rare as well there are plenty of hostile mobs that’ll that’ll spawn there but it’s definitely one of the more beautiful ones cuz it’s just giant uh spires of ice that you can climb and build bases in very fun area to work with this one has some really

Cool models as well uh some characters we’ve got the what is he called The Snowman is there a specific name SN Golem snow goem you can make a snow golem and he shoots snowballs at anything hostile trying to attack you he’s extremely useful he will

Melt though in the Sun so you got to keep in the cold areas uh we also have a baby cow as well the old school uh chest with the rounded top which is the Lego one right M you see that here instead of the square ones uh from the modern era

But my favorite element in here is actually the uh what is it called the enchantment room so we’ve got the book with the enchantment table very hard to make one of these in game takes a lot of valuable materials but when you do you can start to enant your tools and it’s

So much more useful it’s like a game changer so yes I definitely like that there’s even some lapis here which is used for the LA a lot of fun little references and I one of my favorite pieces is the Jacko Lantern even ingame you get the pumpkin you Shar it with his scissors

And you can light them up the Jackal lantern pumpkins are one of my favorite parts of the game and you can get one in this set so yeah a lot of everything and what’s funny is we have a pre-owned one of these and I’ve been trying to get on

The joy building since we started the joy building and it’s been years I’ve never had this one on the joy of building I kind of want to make it cuz it’s cool you can do a Minecraft only episode I might have to do that I might

Have to do that next week but yeah that’s that that’s a great set Stephen I love the enchantment table inclusion that is a unique element for Lego Minecraft CU we haven’t seen that so far and probably not for most Minecraft sets I like that spider seems to be crawling

Up the which is accurate is accurate spider yeah exactly giant spider and yeah you’ve also got a little bit of wheat as we’ve been seeing he’s the and uh it looks like these also come with redstone torches right is that what those are I don’t know what they’re

Supposed to do probably keeping the snow away from certain areas probably so I have a little bit of a hot take about this set I think it’s a super cool set um but especially for being one of the earlier Minecraft sets I’m surprised they chose this biome yeah this is a

Very bizarre biome I mean like not a lot happens there it’s pretty but not a lot happens it’s pretty but it’s also like this is really just talking obscure yeah obscure and really not realistic in a Minecraft game like I don’t think anybody really

Just sets up camp on One Spike so I mean some crazy vers some I’m sure they do but I’m just surprised out of everything they chose to make this set so early on I mean it’s very cool it’s very cool and I’m glad they did that we have that but

It’s just a little bit of an odd choice I but I know why I think they want to get away from the typical green brown gray and use some blue cuz the color does stand out very nicely you know what and for if you want these are some great

Colors in these bricks and if you’re looking for that this is a great set to get this is awesome oh yeah yeah it’s a neat neat unusual Choice glad they did yeah yeah me too me too definitely unorthodox but yeah I I like this set and I’ve always wanted to build it so

Yeah and and it comes with an enchanted uh pickaxe right that’s right an enchanted pickaxe also there’s a feature where you can build a snowman it out pops the the finished snowman oh that looks great yeah that’s right you can put the the pumpkin on two stacks of

Snow that’s great yeah again I’m not actually built that but I want to see how that works that’s cool that’s awesome great uh is this what is this now your second third your third set nice nice very good Stephen what do we got here I have the Pirate Ship Adventure is the

Name of this set this is a phenomenal set in my opinion we’ll give you some info on it this is 2019 uh set number is 21152 MHM and it’s it’s uh 386 pieces and I think this set is just it it just captures Minecraft it just captures Minecraft one of the

Coolest features in Minecraft that I guess it seemed to be kind of rare a while ago but I think you can find them more now are ships and shipwrecks and stuff like that uh when they first came out they were a lot more rare than they

Are now U but this is a super awesome feature from the game put into a Lego set and I think they did it beautifully it’s really nice I think I think the build for the ship is great uh and of course this isn’t supposed to look like

An actual pirate ship it’s Minecraft and I think that looks like the Minecraft yeah it’s not supposed to look great it’s supposed to look blocky and I think that looks great High pixel levels yeah and you know it comes with a dolphin and a turtle and it comes with a little

Ocean build and it comes with turtle eggs which look great so good those those are the house pieces from architecture I think is that what they are I think so really yeah they use those an architecture set sometimes I think well you know what I just think especially an ocean update for Minecraft

Came out what like four years ago it was a couple years ago and you know what it might it probably lined up with this and so I think this set completely captures it uh it’s got a good figure it’s got a good pirate looking figure and then it’s just got a normal Alex

Figure but the dolphin build is great I think the turtle build is great uh I love like I think we mentioned it on the nether set but the fire effect on a zombie who’s in the sun because if the Sun hits a zombie they catch on fire and

They slowly burn to death um which I think that’s a cool effect to be put into Lego you know they have a little thing speci yeah and it’s one piece which is great and I also love the parrot exactly parrot’s great so for me the standups here is you got that buried

Treasure map on the mask and you’ve also I like the parrots parrots are my my jam you put put some music on yes parrots are probably the best animal in the game well yeah one of them yeah for sure what do you like about this one Stephen I got to say something

Interesting though about this thing it’s so crazy how Reliant the Minecraft sets are on just a standard 2×4 brick just how many 2×4 bricks are in this set and how well it works it looks like the game and it also looks great even without the

Game it’s so cool to see Lego just like the 2×4 brick is the most basic element you can use it’s actually somewhat rare in a normal set now it’s getting rarer I mean you can get them you can get them on the the Surplus sets that they throw

In the Creator line stuff like they’re not like rare they just don’t use them because they’re this is way blocker than most so Walky but it works it’s so funny about that I also love the bottle they started adding the bottle yeah that’s a potion bottle or a water

Bottle or even a honey bottle those are actually really really useful in game and it’s it’s it’s so well built with the little Cork and everything I love that design carrots obviously super fun and once again you have the sugar cane which add a nice little splash of green

On that little bit a little bit of color get away no wheat farm noat farm the want so far yeah exactly but something else that I I do like is that it comes with you can it’s hard to kind of tell in the box but it comes with some

Skeleton heads which in the game you it’s kind of collectible to collect the heads of a zombie a skeleton they’re hard to find they’re hard to find and it comes with that and so it’s just like again it’s cool to see Lego looking at the Minecraft community and they’re like

Oh what what’s cool from that let’s how do we Implement that into a set and I think that’s just a cool aspect the bottles a really cool feature um I love the the the is that a birch boat birch wood boat it’s birat and then this has

Kind of got a little modular aspect you can break up the ship and make it look like like again in the game they’re ship wrecks so you could either have a bu ship or you could kind of combine it with the land and make it look like a shipwreck leading into that modularity

For sure yeah which is also that’s just kind of Minecraft in general you know you can build it how you want and have fun with it yeah for sure so I just I think this is a great set the figs are great great is that your third set now

Al I’m trying to yeah this is my third set one last thing I want oh yeah no go for one last thing I want to point out they have the ores as the shovels so in Bedrock you have to have a shovel to build a boat I think they’re almost

Unrealistic to the game because the clouds really don’t they just phe right through they not a physical thinging how how cool would that be if it was a physical thing though that’d be neat be fine be and I like the rocket rocket looks good rocket looks good in fact I

Think the rocket actually shoots unless I’m mistaken no no no it’s just a piece never mind it’s a grippable piece but it’s cool that’s cool but it’s definitely a really fun set you guys all nailed it for sure I like the shape it’s nice to see something a little less

Square you know you have that rounded roof which is hard to build and it looks like the stairways you know for the for the elements in the game uh the cat is also a nice little feature you know like a nice playful feature they added to how

They get the cat up there I have no idea I don’t know how they got the cat up there but yeah it’s definitely a very fun that’s a great point I have no idea yeah it’s a mystery cats find their way yeah exactly cat also there’s modularity

Too you can add this to the roof yep inter kind arrange it a little bit more of that modularity which we love Yeah but that’s a good one and uh this is a pretty recent set 2021 it’s $60 so I think it’s gone up a little bit but not too bad

Sool good one all right yeah also real quick I think I missed this set number did I miss it it’s uh ice spikes was 21131 yeah for anybody listening at home my last set was that um we’re trying to read them out as much as yeah we’re going to move

On to a slightly bigger one though we’ve got the what is this called the jungle treehouse now that’s one of my favorite things to make his treeh houses when this set first this is the set that when I heard Minecraft was going to be announced like I I have low expectations

I’m not expecting anything amazing I didn’t think they would Lego would really commit to it but when they actually dropped it I was really impressed especially with this set because I love the nougat color um medium nougat or the jungle logs the jungle log it’s essentially perfect it’s

A really fun color and this was right when they were starting to fix the brown element too so this I think has the better um should be’s the year on this one the year on this one is 2016 so I think right around then they’re really

Starting to fix this is one of the oldest sets we’ve had up here yet but it has a lot to offer considering its age has the ocelot and I just had one up here it has the iconic sheep skeletons and everything and it comes with Alex

And Steve which most of them just has one or the other of course we have our weed farm at the top but it also come just two pieces of weed two there’s only two but we’ve also have the cookies which come from the cocoa beans from the you got the the correct

Biome food different foods grow in different biomes so it’s nice to see them uh appreciating that got a water bucket down got a water bu and there’s a little campfire I believe or a fire element for a burning creature um but yeah I love the I love the whole color

Scheme they’re really leaning into that greens and um softer oranges and mediums and stuff like that and it definitely just looks really fun to build it also has um a fun water feature now I haven’t played with this set in a long time uh we’ve had it in the store a few times

But Alex can slide down that waterfall really easily the way they set it up it’s so simple but it works very well to descend from the waterfall so there’s a lot of really fun Play features in here too not just a pretty looking set so yeah I definitely like this one for sure

You know something that that’s kind of standing out to me is the vines the builds of the vines I think those look good especially the vines growing on the woods right here the tree yeah looks good I think that’s great and especially for an early Minecraft set I think this

Is a great captures the jungle well great design and it’s one of the earlier appearences of the 1×4 oh yeah yeah for sure for sure that’s a good one too this is a really great set because the tree housee is very welld designed it has a very modern

Architecture you got the stairs you got the waterfall you got this little Paddock for the Sheep but I want to ask you guys is this a base that you would build in Minecraft because I know stepen this is right up your alley what about you would you build I don’t know this

Seems this seems way too like again I this seems way too vulnerable you want a creeper and a skeleton in your base no walls they can walk right they can walk right up the stairs and kill you no of course not there’s no way I’d make this

In Minecraft one you could get a flint and Ste and this base would be gone in one click bro if we were playing PVP I could take out whoever’s living here with one click of a flint and steel overnight this is of course it’s like

Matches in the game this is this is a peaceful server on passive mode okay yeah last on our server no this would be done it is cool it is cool but it’s just too open no way yeah I got to be fortified I’ll do this if I’m way out

And people aren’t going to find me but if if I’m closer to spawn I’m not going to do that that’s good not very safe I don’t have good luck in jungles it seems like Jungles kind of spawn a lot of mobs they’re they’re thick with uh all sorts of

Creepers and then also it’s thick with just the trees and the blocks and how it’s laid out so when you’re running especially from like a baby zombie I mean I mean you’re like bobing and weaving tree that’s what you take yeah that’s a good that’s a good point I

Don’t know I’m not I’m not a huge jungle guy the jungle is pretty controversial some people think it’s fine some people hate it I think it’s pretty much fine it’s like Jungles some people don’t like being in them jungle yeah exactly ex some people love it it but yeah I I this

Is something I would absolutely build I’m more peaceful compared to uh some some hardcore building got some strategic points there I do I do that’s why I think I think about winning I think about being on top you know just Champion mindset but no and regardless I

Just noticed that Alex has looks like iron leggings on in this set normally it’s the normally it’s brown yeah for sure which is something we might have missed in a couple other sets but I do like when they do that um even though it’s armor yeah even though it’s just

Printed one color yeah it’s nice a nice little armor element I like a few iron weapons but they’re still IL equipped against those we got a diamond axe pickaxe and for those listening at home this is 21125 jungle tree out 76 pieces and this one’s gone up a

Lot the year is 2016 but the price is 240 for a new seal from Atlant seal it’s sealed I think this one is somehow more collectible than a lot even from its year and I know it once you get older the price starts to get really high this

Is a a particularly valuable example it’s interesting so if you want the um Jungle Tre you’re going to have to kind of spend for it I think it’s going to be a Splurge not exactly wor it exactly yeah oh by the way that’s the old bamboo

First time I came across I saw on the distance a horizon I saw the roof and I was like yes a village I’m about to go raid it and I went up there and I was like where did all the villagers go it’s empty they’re broken houses and

Spiderwebs and zombie villagers I was like what is this this is crazy this is what an awesome feature an abandoned Village and I think they replicated it great in a set I have yet to find one of these I’ve found them they’re weird it’s have you not found this in I think I’ve

Come across one yet they’re kind of rare I guess they’re kind of rare but this is such a great set it kind of gives me some Halloween Vibes you know it’s coming up spooky season heads happen lot of pumpkin heads in here quite a few actually a black cat which is cool a

Black cat’s more spooky the yellow yeah the yellow eyes uh I think the the spider webs the cobwebs I don’t know what you would call that piece you guys probably oh that’s a plate round modified I think I think it works well for a Minecraft cobweb uh I think it

Works well and to show that everything’s old and decrepit but the main takeaway from this set for me is the zombie villager figures I think they’re so good these look so great especially being kind of a more rare now it kind of depends if you play Bedrock they’re

Pretty they’re pretty common but on Java it’s pretty it’s pretty hard to come across one unusual it’s unusual uh and I love that Lego made two of them M uh which I I think is just great R minifigure yeah oh for sure and I also love the armor stand in this armor stand

Works really good I think it works great I think it works great that’s a very weird design if you tried to take that and turn it into Lego it’ be really hard but I think they did it really I think they did as good as you can do with such

A a very a very hard design to replicate and I think that they were now this is an abandoned Village but I think that they were getting somewhere with this Garden that you would find in a regular yeah a good looking wheat Garden you know you got water and you got different

Torches and stuff but I just think this is a great set cool elements what do you guys think I think it’s great yeah there there’s a cool thing I want to show you guys you can’t really see it from the front but one of my favorite elements

They added to the game were the candles it’s hidden behind the torch quite almost symbolically but they have the one by one the one by one by two plate tall brick that has a hole through the stuff so that’s a rare element to begin with it’s only just been released um and

It’s very strange but we have a couple of them in Gray I know in our own personal collection but White’s a little harder to come by so it’s cool to see that candle element like added new element also you have unprinted um pumpkins orange head minig uh sorry

Minecraft head pieces as pumpkins but you also have the carved ones as well not to mention a grindstone too like look at that they’re already they’re breaking their own rules by putting the plate inside the stud they used to never do that minut is that what they’re doing

There did they started that um is that wait is that the first edition no no no no it’s it’s been done before but it’s it’s unusual it’s very uncommon to see that I just noticed that like hey wait a minute the grindstone has an element on

It is that one of those uh forbidden Lego man there are some illegal techniques I don’t believe in them um but yeah it’s and the house actually has a nice interior as well one of my favorite touches is the Scarecrow good good scarecrow good looking scare great

Set though Malik this is a a Eerie kind of Halloween is build kind of getting into fall and it’s also to mention it’s a pretty cool uh Minecraft fig a cool little skin but yeah you know just a little intro to Halloween exactly and it’s nice

To see them keep it up with some of the modularity too they kind of encourage you to do other stuff keep that element of Minecraft roof yeah rebuild the village it says yeah it in the back rebuild the village make it your own but anyways Mark what you got for us all

Right uh so this is my second to last one here uh St did the jungle treehouse I have the jungle too so Mal you’re ear in for rough time yeah I don’t know about this I got some PTSD when he put this on the table I kind of just went I

Felt it down my spine so for the podcast listeners is 21132 the jungle temple 598 pieces uh you’ve got an ocelot you’ve got Steve with full leather armor leather armor how baffling especially to go into a wait a minute wait a minute wait a minute you’re going to go into a jungle

Temple with leather armor that make they’re either a noob or an a pro this is a set this should be called the noob enters the jungle temple set newbies the first jungle temple they’re going to get killed any but you got two skeletons too that’s unusual to see more than one of a

Single mob but that makes sense in the jungle temple they’re full of skeletons and zombies and the temple roof lifts off it’s got all those gray bricks in there it got a lot of attachment points you got the flick fire missiles to represent the arrow launchers in the

Temple that you need to turn off with the different lovers so it looks like you can actually physically do that so you can really mechanical stuff happening in this set which is very there’s a lot going on they’re doing their best to capture a very distinct

Looking object in a jungle and so it’s pretty fun and I it’s it’s a little bit smaller build than the jungle treehouse I think that is it’s 100 100 pieces less but I think it still captures that either terrifying or interesting jungle Vibe for sure so yeah and as far as

Generated structures in the game how would you rank the jungle temple among them like what’s your thoughts that is a great question St you I actually really like them I think they’re they easy to get through uh yeah if you know what you’re doing you kind of break the walls

And stuff um so once you learn it kind of like the desert temple once you figure it out it’s big I actually always wanted to make a really cool house out of one of these but I’ve never gotten around to it so take out all the traps

Once again I’m a jungle fan I know we have some different opinions here well you know what let me just say I think I think at uh the jungle tip was pretty iconic it was one of the first spawned in structures in the game I think it’s

Really cool if you’re a starter play player you know you’re going through the jungle you come across one you usually have decent loot yeah usually got good stuff you know why I really like jungle temples the lore I’m all about the lore ladies and gentlemen let do tell the lore is a lot

Of it’s all about this I’m going to break it down for you so easy okay Minecraft right there were these Advanced race of Builders who once lived in the Overworld and these jungle temples were left behind by them but they vanished yeah into the into The Nether and we don’t know what happened

To it but I just like some of the lore that’s hidden in there so this is a a remnant of the ancient this is a remnant of the ancient civilization wow I like it but if you go in there with leather armor you might as well jump in line

There’s no way you’re going to survive that with leather arm you make a shirt you might as well jump in might as well jump in lava that’s my thing I think this is Lego saying that if somebody wanted Minecraft leather armor in Lego this is the way you get it by this

Steve I’m guessing he’s probably more expensive because 30 or 40 what year is this this is 2017 as well what would the color of those actual pieces be what would you call that color dark orang is that dark orange that what they use Lea color leather yeah no I think it looks

Good I think it looks good yeah and once again it’s cool to see Lego really leaning into those just standard bricks and adding the plates as extra it just works so well they they found a formula that worked really good for the Minecraft elements and it just works

Great although I’m still not quite sold on the translucent elements for the trees I mean it makes cuz you can see through the tree blocks that light can get through them but it looks looks like slime a little like jell you know it’s not that one I’m not they not look like

Jell BL it kind of does I’m not sold on that but everything else looks great I can see what they’re doing but it’s also I could see what you’re saying that’s like my only complaint in the general Minecraft not just this one set but like all the other I guess they

Try to add texture with it but it is like really you know you know it works it works it works I also do I like that they tried to show the the mossy cobblestone I think I think it could yeah the plates into the into the bricks

I think that’s cool I think you probably could have put more green into some of them to make because I mean in the game mossy cobblestone is pretty much covered with green so but I think it’s good I think it’s this a great set I like the

Box s too it looks like the game that’s it’s that dark creepy jungle and how much is that Set uh this one is also gone up it’s 280 so even more than the tree house and what year was it I forgot this is 2017 a year after jungle

Treehouse this one came out they were doing a jungle w J Ser but it’s good that one’s gone up a lot too some of these Jungle Minecraft sets have really been collectible oh yeah and uh yeah so we’ll Circle back to Steven’s last set last set wow I’m talking I’m talking about boom

Now this is not a naturally generating thing in the game this is a creation of Lego in Minecraft exactly it’s the skeleton oh sorry the Fortress not the skeleton Fortress uh it’s a really cool design though we have a bunch of elements I don’t know if this was the

First but it’s one of the first when was this oh I don’t want to forget the number number of the set is 21127 and it’s the Fortress it came out back in 2016 an old one 2016 and I think this was the first iteration or one of

The first iterations of the horse the Minecraft hes in this set not to mention we have every sword type we have stone wood iron and diamond in one every weapon not to mention three skeletons all with varying armor pieces a sheep most importantly and then we have Steve

In solid gold armor which sounds cool but if you played the game you know gold armor stinks so breaks it it’s really cool to enchant you can get some good enchantments on it but it it breaks super easy um but yeah this is a really

Fun set it of course oh wait does it have a wheat field does it have a wheat field there some there’s some carrots got carrots I got a carrot field got a carrot field which is my goto carrots are best yes but we got obviously the sugar cane and the tree with those

Transluc chunks too I think there’s even an apple in the tree too that’s pretty fun so yeah there’s a lot to go with and a ton of modularity they’ve got like four different models back here almost oh yeah or I think I think just three but yeah really fun design what do you

Guys think uh I think this is awesome I wish this was part of the game cuz who wouldn’t want to attack The Fortress I mean that’s so cool how cool that be a little more danger in the Overworld like a skeleton for yeah and I guess we kind

Of got something I guess as close to this would be the Pillager Outpost in the game which there is a set I think off of that isn’t there I believe I’m not sure I don’t know I don’t know but I think this is a super cool build this is

Right up my alley um this is what you would build for sure if I was in Minecraft oh there is a we by the way a we oh there is oh there’s whe where is in there it’s behind this Tower right here there you go I’m sorry go ahead

Keep going no no go I was just going to saying this is if you try to mess with me in Minecraft you’re going to pull up to this okay you’re not going to be able to get through this I think this is an awesome build I love the variations with

The skeletons I would say I would have like like to see maybe a zombie or another U minecraft player you know or skeleton horse that would have been awesome but there other sets to have those for sure you can Implement spot to have it though but man what an awesome

Build I just love the the whole layout I love the big gate at the front that’s so cool M uh I love the stables in the back for the horse just really neat got an armor stand yeah that’s a cool one it’s super cool a lot to like in this set and

What was the price I know this one is big old uh it’s going to be this one is 3404 so you got to save up your pennies to get this one but I think it would be worth it that’s a really do another cool thing is that Lego’s kind of using a

Mills plate design here so they’re like setting up the base plates on top of the bricks for easier modularity they style people do that for the big mular city sets the expert lines for their elements afterward so it’s cool to see it um already built in yeah because you know

What it sets it up if you guys see down here the water there is a small portion of the set that is water and it’s a break down and so it just sets it up for you to be able to implement maybe a pond or in the ocean maybe this is on the

Coast or for fishing or for fishing yeah just like one block of water but uh but no that’s really cool that’s really cool but I will say I wouldn’t advise gold armor just saying it’s nice for decoration it’s nice for decoration but even if it’s Enchanted

Just ble waste your money iron is even probably better cuz 100% but M you want to talk about your big I would love to talk about mine this is my last set the room the biggest look at this man this is this is the mountain cave set number 21137 this is

2,863 and it shows pieces and it shows ladies and gentlemen when this is built it is pretty massive it is pretty massive uh and this box is just it it yeah it is it is bursting at the seams but there is so many cool features in

This is this sealed by the way uh this is sealed it sure is yes and we let’s get the year mark you want to help me lift this up and actually really heavy let’s do a project uh let’s see 2017 2017 this would have been Peak Minecraft

Here Peak Minecraft so something super I know I’m kind of blocking Mark let’s put it right here let’s do it right here uh so something super cool in this set that is probably my favorite feature and it’s a super rare Minecraft feature is a Charged Creeper yeah so if you see right

Here on the front a lightning bolt is actually striking the creeper and it’s giving him this like blue aura around him and in the game if lightning strikes a creeper it starts to swirl around them and the Creeper’s explosion correct me if I’m wrong is three times his

Explosion three or four times way more dangerous it is massive exponentially more dangerous your Shield is gone you’re dead oh yeah there’s no surviving a charge creeper and it’s just so rare and to see that in a Lego set like that’s so awesome that they implemented that and this slime is still exclusive

To that this is it really it’s a $100 item just for the slim now the little ones are a little cheaper but not by much uh those are printed eyes I know for a fact those are printed eyes and you can actually fit these little guys

Inside the big one yeah because when you kill a slime in the game they multiply multiply it splits up uh something else that’s really cool about this set is that it has a working track for a mine cart you can kind of start at the beginning the top of this and roll all

The way down and there’s actually if I’m not mistaken there is a an elevator feature where you can pull the cart back up to the top and then it starts again and it comes all the way down so it has playable features it comes with angry

Dogs which is a cool feature yeah angry angry wolves I guess uh plenty of mini figs cave spiders skeletons there’s 15 minig and and creature uh characters in this entire build look right here on the bottom yeah sure is these are doubled up you get two

Bats you get two wolves you get two baby slimes and of course there’s a weed field yeah two there two but look turn it around for a second look at the back of this show some more features look how much modularity they they encourage you

With here sure and I know for I remember when this first came out this was one of the earliest uh additions of the curve tiles here is that is that one of the earlier ones also these weird Shield tiles I think they’re in here yeah there’s this Shield shaped tile here

That has a half plate sticking up on the top and it works good for these curved elements cuz those don’t really fit if you want them a stud apart from each other so this actually fixes that so there’s a lot of new engineering Lego element unique build also have a spider

Spawner look at that yeah spider spawner and then like on the yeah there’s light bricks in here and it lights up some red stone if you guys know the game red stone that’s awesome uh there there’s there’s tons of cool stuff in this set I

Love the build at the top kind of like the the Creeper face at the top of the mountain but there’s like water in that that block yeah for sure and sign elements with sign there’s some lava oh my word uh Alex in full diamond armor which is cool

Y has iron I like that Minecraft Shield too that’s a pretty rare yeah yeah that Minecraft Shield is for sure rare but this is just an epic this is the Pinnacle in my opinion of Minecraft Lego you want a Minecraft Lego set you’re going to get a mountain a m battle so

Many layers you can it’s all interchangeable it kind of Still Remains that modular Minecraft thing you could change this all up and you could add to it and I think this is just an amazing set now the price on this set is not as ladies ladies and Gent brace yourself currently $1,600 yeah

$1,600 first shield one been open but like Mark said there’s so many exclusive pieces like the Slime itself and it’s got Char creep charge creeper the charge creeper is in a mediumsized set that came out a little more recently but it’s still hard to get it’s still hard to get

Yeah and just I mean just the amount of pieces over almost 3,000 pieces all the Play features and you know some 3,000 piece sets are way smaller than this cuz these are all blocks yeah Vol this is a big set and I’m telling you when you

Build it it’s big and you can get you get so much out of it so this is just the Pinnacle of Minecraft Lego sets and really I mean this this would be awesome to have in game I mean like how cool this be you can make this oh 100% yeah

To be Minecraft this is the second biggest right the V second probably one of the second biggest ones 1600 pieces is a lot um check out that wheat farm that is a get that up close been waiting for a farm that we’re ending with the good

Wheat Farm oh man that’s good and some carrots in there oh sorry Mark go goe no so it actually comprises multiple biomes it’s a big Village it’s got 1 2 3 4 five six sevenish buildings and in the well and which is accurate to a village of

Minecraft about that big you got a couple different buildings couple different things happening here you’ve got some villagers trading you got villagers farming you got a zombie villager here so an early version of that a regular zombie some pigs running around an Enderman stealing blocks you’ve got a iron golem back there

Smacking up some zombies it’s great you got Alex and Steve running around probably looting the entire Village steing oh look look there’s a there’s a Ender Eye of Ender there yeah there’s a there’s a Eye of Ender which is ender pearl which has been Blaze rotted so

That’s pretty cool you need those to get into the end we don’t have that set here today might have to do a part two yeah maybe we do part two and then um but yeah so the villager trading some cake and an apple some iron ingots and there

There’s a creeper hiding back there I didn’t even see him oh yeah he Blends in anyway this is a great set this designed by my friend Carl Miriam so is really cool we got inside sco this this came out pretty early if I recall

Let me see the year on this one 2016 so that was a year before the Giant mountain cave and some other sets that came out this was a bit of a game changer when it came out cuz it was big it was expensive I I don’t think it’s

Sold terribly well because it’s a little hard to find now that’s why the price is so it’s like the mountain cave it’s gone up quite a bit but uh this is a great set it’s it’s they haven’t even attempted to do another Village on this scale since but I’d be excited to see

Them take a crack at it this is still holds up pretty well though yeah this holds up good the village in the game has changed a good bit M but this is still a great representation I love it I do have to point out one really interesting feature and it is this

Little man here the Villager with the white jacket he’s one of the most expensive um uh peaceful mobs that you can buy basically the figure yeah the figure he is from a version of Minecraft that they don’t they they update it right and they changed his design so he

Doesn’t exist in the game anymore although he did it one point yeah that’s cool but you can buy a minifig version of remember to Remember by I’ve had kids 9-year-olds specifically come in here and say where’s the white coat villager I want to get him if they know that he

Was discontinued in the game he’s been replaced by a guy with a different outfit which looks fine but he’s rare so he’s become a really sought-after character the gohost to well that’s so cool how the game can affect the sets and stuff like that I do

Want to point out that the baby pig is on the the lantern what how’d that pig get up there that’s a fun that speaks to the designer’s sense of humor for sure for sure no this is a really cool set love the Iron Golem that he’s holding a rose

They usually can hold roses in the game got the cactus down there too yeah cactus looks good lot and of course the Enderman we haven’t talked about much about them they’re actually a really good design uh they can carry blocks really nicely and it looks great the

Head turns just enough and it looks great now the Iron Golem he’s actually pretty inexpensive I think he’s less than 20 bucks smallo they came out with other ones and they’re really similar although this one has better articulation for the yeah I’d say that’s the best one yeah for sure probably yeah

It’s got those joints yeah still a really cool character there’s just a ton of features in here of course you got the square cake you want that yeah Square cake the Ivan but I will say this is just a good old classic Minecraft set Village you know what I mean when when

You run into this in the game like you just smile it’s a highlight you’re about to steal from a bunch of people you’re about you’re about to completely take all of their crops get real full and steal all their goods and you’re just going to leave them with nothing let get

This straight so Malachi has there ever been a Village that you’ve left untouched there’s one Village that I left untouched and it’s because I conquered the village and I Enslaved the villagers and then I made it my Village and I built it up into a city there go

So it’s either I leave him with nothing or I take over completely you know what I do just because even though it’s not smart I’ll just take like a little bit of something and then I’ll leave I’ll take a little bit of that I leave I just

Take a little bit whatever I can carry and go I I I come back if I can’t take it all no yeah I I sometimes I’ll Take Everything sometimes I’ll leave half for the villagers just because just because for the NPCs but actually there’s also like a

Ton of um it says build your own Creations so it says inspiration included which they haven’t really pushed for in a while so it’s nice to see I think there’s some other elements yeah down here they’ got some other uh they encourage you to make some other

Stuff models yeah so do you think okay good I have one more cool feature I want to point out it looks like this comes and this may be the only set I don’t know that comes with emerald ore emerald ore which is really cool which is if you

Guys didn’t know in Minecraft you can trade with the Villagers with emeralds but you got to find emeralds and emeralds are the hardest or to find right they’re the the most rare and it looks like up in the mountains you can find them every now and then pretty hard

To find that’s awesome but uh so um having seen a bunch of great Minecraft sets do you think that Lego has done a good job capturing the the vibe of this very popular video game uh yeah uh it speaks to it um it’s extremely popular uh the game is popular the product is

Popular they’re both really similar if you think about it but they’re joining forces and they’re joining forces which was like it was kind of inevitable like not a matter of if but a matter of when are they going to do this and I think they absolutely uh killed it um it’s not

A I prefer non-licensed themes but this one is built on something that you can build yourself so your own creativity that you can put into the game you can put into Lego too it’s not just watching characters on a TV right so I definitely appreciate that that extra element of a

Bit and they really encourage you to build their own your own stuff abely so and then they have sets that have just Parts in them too so I think I think in general Lego’s basically done as good a job as they possibly could I think it’s great it’s cool that they have continued

So consistently for 10 years CU I think that 10 years is crazy there’s a bunch of phenomenal sets from all different price points and whatever you’re looking for got it there’s some rare ones you might have to spend a little bit more for but you can get the basic crew

Pretty easily I think it’s cool I think if I had one nitpick with the whole Minecraft uh line of Lego is that I wish they would choose and stick with one scale does that make sense and it’s hard it’s very hard it’s very hard because everything in Minecraft is scaled by a

Block and I think that could easily replicate to maybe a a 2 by two brick with a with a plate on top or something like that but there’s some inconsistencies I know in a couple sets there’s some TNTs that are bigger than the door is bigger and smaller the doors

Are different sizes they’re doing the best they can but maybe and I know they started it’s been 10 years and they’ve changed it a lot but I think if they could get down with a solid scaling system for Minecraft sets it opens the door up for a lot more they could do and

Consistency uh easier to build a Mark at home probably for sure for sure for sure but yeah thank you guys so much for all your the sets sharing and the thoughts on those sets this has been fantastic I’ve learned a few things had a good
