Average Arcader – Lets Play Minecraft City Builder/Part 1

Thank you oh what’s going on everybody average arcader here and welcome to City Vader Builder this is the latest from Team workbench um I actually do like the a lot of their stuff um I think one of my favorite ones they did was Zoo Builder uh that was actually

Really nicely done I had a lot of fun with that one if you guys remember that series well this one is City Builder I actually do like and you guys know I like to check out city builders uh it’s just something I like because I I think

Because I I like you know that uh City Builder Sim Style game like SimCity or something like that I kind of really like those and uh there’s been a couple that came out in the marketplace kind of like Simba and whatnot and so whenever I see a city

Builder I kind of see what they got uh so I’m definitely gonna check this one out uh also shout out to teamwork bench they actually uh reached out to me to check this one out so uh thank you guys for paying attention to the Channel all right let’s get into this

Talk to Ben yo what’s up Ben huh to the city okay sorry Windows there’s not much between all sorts of ah give me these constantly be giving you suggestions let’s start building our new city follow me good I was wondering if it would have some form of mechanics on the population Oh nice so far so good Like a a lot of these just have the basic well you’re just building a city I’m like okay that’s great what’s happening can I put people in it you know what do I put in here actually affect what’s going on good job you know the roads a City without roads like my breakfast

Without cats okay let’s play some roads It doesn’t look like I don’t have to balance any funds or anything like that foreign Foreign Townhouse townhouse one I know I’m going I’m taking my time right All right So there’s the only one type of townhouse Foreign Three perfect spots Place three sidewalk trees Oh good I just never realized something I can fly Atmosphere and sporting foreign Foreign Foreign An area Foreign Hahaha Oh see if you have to actually change the rotation of the road towns and a lot of these if you simply direction it’ll automatically start everything have fun building take a look at how big of a space we have looks like we have a whole Little Island

I’m gonna see can we get rid of this stuff on the edge yeah we can okay so we can still we still have space here A little Harbor area Or dock a little island dog is actually pretty cool foreign amount of space and if we want a little bit more we can get it Looks like as we build more living space they’ll it’ll create more citizens which is actually pretty cool see can we talk to this guy You can we talk to you Holy cow we already got a population of 500 . yeah definitely check out Zoo Builder it actually is really good very decent a decent variety of animals and habitats that you can put them in I really hope they do a sequel to that and just add more animals and more habitats because that was actually pretty good I

Also want to if they could maybe add some actual uh management a little bit more management uh mechanics to it like money gas happiness you know stuff like that All right so foreign Let’s take a look so we’ve got regular houses Apartments is it just the one type of apartment looks like it foreign Oh there we go Mansion one two three four five so I have to click it and click it again so that means I need to go back to living areas wait wait wait no no this business is back back okay living townhouses did if we go here again okay so we have one

Six different townhouses that’s actually not bad It’s suburbs okay six different ones of those Foreign mansions So I have a little bit of play the area is not crazy huge so we should we should be able to do a decent amount of variety of what other different things we’ll have to actually plan out what we want we’re because we don’t have uh infinite amount

Of space so we want to actually create something that’s balanced we’ll have to plan out where we want everything which I Love Actually I like ones that are big but I also like the ones that actually make it so that you can actually build a diverse little

City within uh you know reason let’s see businesses oh my God hotels huh six different hotels this right here is technically a motel here What else do we have in businesses offices stores restaurants hotels entertainment public service so this was what fire departments police departments hospitals police station fire department school and bank is there multiple types of schools yes no no it’s not there’s just one school hmm same thing for the fire department How many restaurants do we have It’s like what’s that one two three four five six seven restaurants not bad foreign Cinema arcade theater Opera House Okay so we did that um did we do stores No we didn’t petrol station it’s a gas station specialty shop convenience store and discount store Atmosphere and sports Sports pool playground tennis soccer basketball Three foreign We have enough business ones that we can do like a downtown business area What’s this the Dinosaur Museum anymore classical Museum Town Museum Historical building Museum memorials it’s the first time I’ve seen one here with a memorial Type thing it’s actually pretty cool most of the time stuff like that gets not put in historical buildings which are different tile castles oh and a palace okay I guess this is which we already did hotels Offices It’s actually a good amount of Office Buildings Foreign But not like industry buildings that’s one of the things that’s always kind of missing like we have offices but we don’t have factories you know not enough factories not enough warehouses or even like dark buildings because you see you’ve got they’ve got like uh this big container ship right here would have

Been cool to put like dock buildings close to here let’s see because if I go here none of these are these are all offices some of these are like warehouses or industry buildings I think that’s the one thing I’m always running the problem into and through a

Lot of these is the 83 buildings I like to build like an industry section and normally you either have very few industry buildings or no industry buildings this one doesn’t really have any industry buildings at all from what I can see we’ve got roads which is good oh parking lots sidewalk okay

I think that’s everything apart from the nature which is grass rocks trees bushes yeah we’re good okay now we kind of already started down wait This parks tree Square large Park medium Park small Park foreign I’m trying to think of where we’re going to start this out at Well they’ve already kind of got like some houses going here townhouses so kind of finishing like a little this would be like like a working class little neighborhood right here maybe so first things first let’s get some roads so we’ll get this started and I’ll probably finish a good chunk of this off

Camera and we’ll come back when it’s pretty much done I don’t think it will take me too long to get a nice size city going here foreign I haven’t made any more Living Spaces no way a thousand people are living in these down homes Can we go in I’m gonna check that I’m good we’ll be able to check out the interior of H1 as we go too so that’s pretty cool all right let’s uh let’s get back to it Foreign Okay so let’s get some more um townhouses going this way and I think we have a townhouse going this way another townhouse right here mirroring that one or see this one the back of this one is towards the park so the other one the back should be towards the park as well Thank you Foreign Foreign Foreign Foreign Yeah I can literally get lost in these for a long time I literally can yo what’s rocking there we go Okay so we have a little neighborhood that’s been created here I need to create some jobs then we do okay so we need businesses I’ll be like right on this little strip here we put some restaurants a gas stations Oh food truck Fashion restaurant Cafe luxury restaurant now we gotta put the luxury restaurant over in the uh more upscale area We got oh you know what we need also parking areas we need to parking we need to start putting some parking lots over in the section here too don’t we we have that there and stores petrol Hang on let me get uh Road sorted out here oops not what I know what I meant to do that’s what I meant I meant to you You know what hang on That’s better Now that parking makes sense Okay so we need a decent sized parking lot see I can’t I can I can make a big parking area but I can’t make an actual like parking structure I don’t think oh well we can just do what we can with that let’s see how do I want to do this do I

Want to do this because okay let’s have like a little parking area right here then we can add some sidewalk around it Okay foreign Foreign Ladies and gentlemen we have a little parking area now this could mostly be for these apartments and the park right here thank you And then what we can do for this row of park for them we could just give them their own little parking lot behind them Sue I wanted it to go to go no I’m hitting the wrong button there we go I like it it gives you random cars and whatnot to go with it Foreign Actually like too because a lot of times you’ll put these parking lots or something like that down and there’s nothing there and it kind of breaks and it kind of breaks the illusion you know let’s go into the fast food restaurant see what we got in here oh it would have

Been awesome with the uh could add like a restaurant mini game that would have been cool but at least we can go inside these ones the last City thing last City Builder I played you couldn’t go inside most of the we have a decent variety of them

But you couldn’t really do anything you couldn’t go inside them like almost at all only like a few of them could actually go inside okay I think we’re good there Okay so this side because we still we’ve got a couple more townhouses to go through so maybe what I might do is go all the way down with the different townhouses to about this area and clear out some of these trees um then we can change over to the regular houses We’ve got townhouses Mansions apartments See we have a lot of houses different type of houses we can use um so I’m thinking we can put some cul-de-sacs over here in this area then I’m not sure where but one of these little areas over here I should put like a shopping area a big shopping area and then heading that way we can start doing business stuff um heading towards the dock one I really wish we had more actual industry buildings but we don’t

But we still need to have like a decent sized business section then I need to figure out where I’m putting the rich area because we’ve got mansions and whatnot I want to try to use everything that’s I might go into these is to try to use

Everything so I think our uh I gotta figure out where I want to use the castles I need to figure out where I want to use uh the museums because we’ve got what was it like three four different types of museums whether it was a dinosaur local Town Museum and classical Museum I

Think so that was that was like there’s three different museums we need to figure out how we’re going to use so we’ve got we’ve got quite a bit going on but like I said right now I’m focusing on getting the houses set up oh we need to start placing police stations too

What we can do is when I get done with the role of Townhouses probably over here where that pond is I’ll put a hospital uh and then on the other side I’ll put a police station on Fire Department and they will put on Direct opposite on the other side another police station

Fire Department in a hospital probably try to put them like in four different Corners I don’t know I don’t want them to line up perfectly we’ll play around with them later but I just want to make sure I at least get one of them in there all right guys

Uh that’s gonna be it for this episode this is a nice little getting started getting our bearings on how everything works so far I like it I like the mechanics I like how quick it is easy to get going um I’m not sure how I feel about the the

Mechanic of not you know a lot of these they make you have to build certain things tax people and pay for them I actually like the fact that we don’t have to pay for it we could just get in there and go but I still would like uh

More mechanics with the population uh but uh so far I do like how everything looks I’m very excited to see what all we can do with all the different things there’s a decent variety of stuff there’s just enough space I feel like for us to be able to use everything but

We need to place everything strategically so that we don’t you know go overboard with too many of the same thing we will have to play some things multiple times to get a good exactly thing of what we want to do I I tend to go overboard with living spaces so I I

Gotta make sure to make sure I’ve got everything else going I gotta I gotta pick up like a business section like you know we’re we’re gonna put all the different Office Buildings because there’s a good amount of them so maybe on this side I always use the town

Hall as kind of like a dividing line so maybe on this side of the Town Hall in this corner we can put the business section or the downtown area or you know just simply start it like right here on this side of it and just keep it you know around I don’t know
