Average Arcader – Lets Play Minecraft Haunted Hospital/Full Gameplay

Thank you oh what’s going on everybody average arcader here and welcome to haunted hospital this is by my good friends over at everboom games I met to check this out last week but I got caught up doing some things not to mention I wasn’t sure how

I wanted to cover it but what I’m going to do is a full playthrough video because normally with everbloom games when they do um a heavily horror themed or heavily storied voice acted game like this it’s better to just go ahead and play straight through it like a movie because

It’s kind of how they set it up now this has an interesting story behind it and I’ll tell you more as we go uh but uh right when I decided to play it uh I got contacted by my good friend over there uh at Amazon games Redstone

Scientist who told me a little bit about some of the trouble they had simply getting this on the marketplace uh they got it done actually I think he said in 2021 and uh oh no or 2020 uh and they were going to release it but

I think covet hit and because he saw a lot of the stuff in the beginning kind of matches up with what was going on at the time so they pulled it down out of respect for what was going on then Microsoft banned anything that any game

That had anything to do with sickness or anything like that because I didn’t want people profiting off of the pandemic so they had to wait even longer so yeah it’s very very very interesting let’s let’s see what they put together oh also huge shout out to my channel members

Elijah M4 penguin and easty Beastie Boys and blockster you guys are awesome they’re spreading further than they already have been down working out in the streets increasingly more difficult Have been lost at a Calico with minimal communication coming from within the contaminated country scientists who were quick to research the Calico in whatever capacity that they could have identified the cause of the Calico to be a disease rather Express real larger what’s even more worrying is that this disease can spread

Through contact including ordinary humans into bloodthirsty Psychopaths I could definitely see why they had the whole dispatch it will likely be our last broadcast the last organized government has fallen in life as we once knew it is no more there is no stopping the Calico the Channel 5 News signing off foreign Can you tell me your name uh Bernard good afternoon Bernard what where am I I’m Dr jira you’re at the roticos hospital pretty much the only Hospital still standing what what are you talking about why am I here and why am I tied down to be brief you were found outside on

The street corrupted by a calico everyone who’s ever been touched by a caligo has been tainted with a horrible disease and turned into a creature bent and destroying everything around them but for some unknown reason it doesn’t seem to apply to you the ropes start to

Keep you down while we run a few tests they’re unorthodox and will likely be extremely painful in all likelihood you won’t survive the ropes are here to make sure you don’t run away why would you tell me that to ask think of it as your dying wish

Besides once we’re done with you your one less threat to humanity and we might be one step closer to a cure you’re tainted just like everyone else who was touched by a Calico but curiously you seem to have retained your sense of self usually the process of transformation

Takes only a matter of hours there has to be something in your blood or body that is significantly slowing down the sickness and keeping you normal at the current rate of the disease spread you don’t have long to live anyway try to enjoy your last few days note

That your sacrifice is going to save many lives this guy sounds I’ll be right back I have to get out of here yeah just get these ropes oh there there maybe I can get out of here before the doctor gets back a doctor that doesn’t know how to tie knots

The doctor is going to be back any minute I need to go now okay I’m stuck in this hospital I can’t remember anything at all and I need to find a way out of here this is just great don’t get caught by doctors and nurses roaming okay the map shows that I’m on

The second floor to get out of here I need to use the elevator I want to read this but okay all right basically it repeats what he had just said the elevator I’m starving it feels like I haven’t eaten in ages there has to be a kitchen around here

Yeah dude not at the top it’s a kitchen for the hospital is normally downstairs boss Okay so we’ve got why is it there’s some carrots growing here they’re better than nothing I guess what if they’re random carrots growing here see those weren’t half bad actually

All right now I need to get out of here gotcha how does this infernal machine work well a coffee maker or the oven they say I say every single Studio has a strength with everbloom it’s their storytelling like I think they have one of the best riding

Teams on the market show I could use that wait but who’s here ah these doors are really jammed I’m not gonna be able to make it through there without a tool or something frame tools to pry you know the janitor probably has tools thank you leave me alone

You should really look into the room and surrounding that jira guy why me what rumors everybody around here at least kind of knows who you are myself included you’re more wrapped up in all of it than anyone and you know the rumors how people tend to go missing when jira’s around just

There has to be some kind of tool I can use to pry the elevator doors open yeah I know I’m looking boss I’m looking calm down thing is I was moving too quickly I’m gonna have to take my time so I could try to avoid the doctors oh come on

Maybe if I found something to pry the doors open I know I’m looking oh come on I’m sure I can find something in the Janitor’s Closet just have to find it it’s easier said and done boss are you going down to at any point why do you ask I I heard

That they’re working on a cure down there and I just really wanted to be a part of it I I don’t really know what they’re doing but yeah if I go down that way I’ll give it a look for you okay so that’s the janitor maybe the janitors closet isn’t that far

From here there was a doctor I talked to this guy this place just feels so cold sometimes yeah I don’t think it killed them to turn the heat on every once in a while no I mean figuratively I never really liked hospitals but this one creeps me out

More than most maybe it’s just me okay we came this way already went that way got the carriage oh come on give me a break I’m gonna figure out where I was again oh yeah we’ll read those later did you know Dr jira had a partner no

I didn’t know anything about that yeah he was a really nice guy um Arrow aloe something like that where is he I haven’t seen him anywhere you know what I haven’t seen him anywhere lately not since the outbreak foreign I mean the doctor probably started running experiments on him he’ll still

Be alive you look like you got really roughed up what happened was being chased by caligans in my old apartment complex to escape them I had to throw myself through a window ouch thankfully some Scouts found me and dragged me here I owe them my life

And this is the one downside about a lot of the horror games I don’t like the you have to avoid things it’s not easy to avoid them and you can’t fight back the basement has been giving off the most terrible sounds imaginable for quite a while now really what do you

Think is down there honestly I don’t have a clue voices sometimes there are screams and sometimes worse what I’ve said too much leave me alone all right chillax boss see I’m trying to avoid them but sometimes they’ll be in a room all right this is the original room we were in

Yeah sometimes they’ll be in a room and you won’t notice until it’s too late and once they find you there’s really no way to get away from there already all right we’re looking for the janitors closet right we went that way already popped out over there janitors here

So I’m guessing the closet can’t be really oh man you know what an idiot it’s a map kitchen recovery wing ah there it is Janitor’s Closet we’re here we need to go that way don’t be stupid kids look at the map gotta be yanking me perfect there’s a crowbar right there

Okay definitely get into that elevator with that of course the closet door is locked all right closet doors locked let’s see if we can go find the janitor to get him to unlock it excuse me sir I really need to get into the maintenance closet bill is that you

Um no Josh you fix a coffee machine yet um no mister I’m not him either my name is Josh my eyesight isn’t what it used to be say I haven’t heard your voice before are you that patient that all those doctors were fussing over you’re not him

I um no sir I’m just somebody they brought in to help with repairs I did hear about him though what is it that happened exactly I heard that some survivors found him outside the hospital he was tainted by a Calico but he hadn’t transformed like all the other infective halved they brought him

In hoping that he could be healed up and maybe learn how he was able to resist being turned into a cat again wow that’s quite the story I heard that the doctor that was looking over him was going to run some possibly fatal tests on him in order to find out

Why his body was resistant and where is it exactly that you heard that oh just some talk from the patience is all anyway I was just wondering if I can get a key to get inside the maintenance closet I lost I’ll tell you what how about you figure out how this dumbled

Machine works and get me some coffee and then I’ll give you my key thank you so much I’ll fix it and I’ll be back with some coffee get some coffee from the coffee machine for the blind how can a janitor be blind like how are we lord oh yeah here’s your coffee

Timothy thank you that’s not my name I yeah try not to break anything in there thanks oh Mike give me a break man leave me alone my problem is I can’t I think once they find you you really can’t get away Yo what’s up okay I can use this crowbar to pry open the elevator doors maybe I did get away can I use the Crowbar to knock out the doctors I mean yeah they’re doing their job but you know like I I am fighting for my life so you know all right

See if we can cut through God come on I have a crowbar I should be able to knock him back out ah bother it looks like he can get away but you gotta basically run for a while okay so we already did janitor’s thing and the elevator is right here so we

Need to go this way I believe doctor’s over there I wonder how they secured this place so soon after the outbreak I don’t know of any other places that got this lucky yeah I haven’t heard of any either do you think that or any left um I’m gonna I’m gonna put some money

Down that they caused the outbreak from here that’s why the guy is so freaking nuts my whole family got turned into caligans on the outside I’m real sorry to hear that I know that doesn’t really help thank you I’d give anything to get him back you know yeah sure feel better soon

You know something hit me where’d that come from I hate you don’t talk away oh my God freaking orderly okay do you think we got away yeah you can get away he’s gonna be really freaking fast oh come on keep running two of them okay no no no not that way

To go that way your elevator is right there I really should be reading those I’ve been too busy focusing Bernard stop why so you can rip me apart and study me absolutely not without your sacrifice every Survivor will be corrupted one by one not my prop what Where am I we are here this reception you know something’s definitely off with that doctor because like you said why you would never come up to a patient and say yeah we’re gonna kill you basically why wouldn’t you do that because this would happen they’re just gonna run from you

Let’s get these up here I said maybe I’ll read them later hey excuse me who are you how’d you get into the caligan War I was going down the elevator and the cable snapped it dropped me all the way down here caligans are infected people they’ve

Been tainted by the caligos they have no control over themselves anymore they’re irritable and violent extremely violent unfortunately last week a few of the infected patients broke out of their restraints and much of our staff was down here at the time we had to lock the

Gate so none of them could get out again you locked them in here with the caligans how could you do that if we didn’t we might have lost the entire Hospital it’s not like we wanted to that’s terrible I’m so sorry you had to make that call

I don’t really want to be on this side of the gate any longer than I have to be do you think you could open it up risking the entire hospital if I did that even if a call again didn’t get out well I can only imagine what Dr jira

Would do if he found out what could he even do he seems like a nut job I worked here before everything went down he was a respectable guy back when he was Arrow’s Apprentice nothing like he is now who Arrow he was the hospital’s primary physician before the outbreak

A good man very intelligent one day he just disappeared Calico probably got to him anyway after that jira took over in his place that’s awful so what happened to jira you lost his entire family down here in the ward the doctor’s only concerned with making a cure now to save everyone who’s been

Tainted including his family through any means necessary should also prevent anyone from ever being infected again but he doesn’t care what he has to do all he wants is for his family to be safe again oh wow that’s really heavy yeah it’s a sad story one of many

World is full of sad stories now I’ll let you through if you do something for me what do you need me to do I left behind a photo of my family in my locker that’s all I have left of it you can get that for me I’ll open the gate for you

I don’t really have a choice here here’s some advice don’t be seen by the caligans they’ll rip you to shreds or Worse turn you into one of them if they’re blocking you you might be able to lure them away with the intercom system they’re attracted to loud noises

You’d be able to find that in reception thanks for the advice I’ll go scope out the locker room Okay so we’re here at checkpoint wow locker room is very far away okay so we need to go up back pass reception all right at least we know now that no matter what we do we can’t be seen by anything Oh what we got here I bet this whole outbreak is our fault how could this be our fault anyone’s fault but caligans and caligos aren’t like anything the world has ever seen I bet they came from all the hate and anger we all pinned up and we lost ourselves man

Really then why didn’t this happen before hate and anger have been around for a long time still working on that one okay still trying to try to rip my head around this whole outbreak thing what do you mean I I mean I mean we just started making huge advancements in medicine

Then this this struck out of nowhere do you think do you think they might be connected I don’t know what to think but I agree the timing seems off you a Bernard why aren’t you everyone started talking about you when you got dragged into the hospital the

Man who fought a Calico and won yeah I am why do you ask I know this is more than I have a right to ask but but please let jira work with you cheer is far from perfect but sometimes you have to work with all that you got you know

Just think about it I was born in this hospital and I’ll die in a two what makes you say that we’re running out of food water and medicine if things don’t change I won’t be the only one dying thank you man okay foreign back at the elevator

Pretty sure we’re at reception now right we’re going we’re going that way okay go that way now so we have to figure out another way through Of course wow going around foreign they seem a little slower than the uh doctors in the orderlies yeah they’re very much slower yeah they lose they lose track of you a lot quicker ah it’s kind of my way okay Oops I was hoping that I could run around This is where I was just at wasn’t it similar room like it huh Jesus just so many of them so if we keep going this way locker room should be straight ahead he said though there’s an intercom system we can use in reception but I can’t get to reception just keep around

That’s a lot of caligans I not going to be able to get through with all of them there any way to move kindly forward from away from the Walker well he said go to I can’t figure out how to get to reception I see where it’s at but I can’t get in Ah it’s locked of course I might be able to get in through the air vents I just need to follow them to an opening [Applause] like here’s the here’s the problem I’m running into they’re not scary they’re more so annoying it’s not easy to avoid their their glaze they have a pretty decent

Vision it’s easier to get away from the calicos than it was the orderlies but I I just don’t see a reason to there it is I I just I don’t know like I said I’m more annoyed by them than scared of them it’s annoying because if I see them most

Of the time by the time I see them they’ve already saw me and then I’m playing this run around game that’s not exactly into reception I know I know I’m looking for an event to enter the air vents okay wait we found it which way did I go

For it did I go this way at least I thought I had found it opening yeah there’s opening right there but gotta get them away that’s it come on I don’t know I didn’t just run up to the horde and have them chase me back hey how you doing the air vents

Shouldn’t be too hard to find I just have to follow the pipes this is cool I like how he did this I’m not a big fan of the horror ones of any of them because most of the time that’s what they do they take away your ability to fight back

I’m always a guy in my head of if it’s not something that’s not the size of the room and even then I’m still gonna try to fight back like it doesn’t make sense that I can’t harm them now can they kill me easily yes I can reach the reception area by

Crawling through the air vents you know what I mean that’s my thing like make it so that yeah they can take me out easily but I should still be able to at least fight back some kind of way even if it’s limited yeah like I said I had a crowbar I

Should have kept the Crowbar and used it all right I’m in intercom has to be around here somewhere sorry I had to let my cat that’s in here out All right there we go oh Okay we could yeah come over here guys yeah yeah come over there bye dang it I was gonna try to shut that went to the wrong side of the room right let me lure these guys out some more come on follow me we’re going to come back out here or not

And they’re there [Applause] [Applause] yeah can’t shut it still a lot here looks like the locker room is clear that photo should be around here somewhere yeah that’s what I wish we had more doors they can’t open for me to play around with sometimes this Hospital feels more like

A prison than a place you’re supposed to get better at I take it you’re not really a fan then I’m not but what other choice do we have we’d all die out there on our own if no one makes a stand we’ll all fall together Yeah this is true can’t we actually open these lockers yeah soccer ball paperback pencils I keep seeing more ideas for weapons you know take the pencil jam it in something’s eye [Applause] towel get a bottle some fluid that’s flammable um cocktail more pencils thank you

Take the soccer ball throw it at one of them to throw them off huh you know foreign [Applause] did we go down this site all rightly remember I think we did well there it is no bad it’s a map time to get back to the gate

Can we get in here talk to this guy no I’m sorry I’m not your dad rest well don’t let jira come near me again I feel sick what do you mean by that what did Dr jira do to you I’m gonna I am putting my money that Dr

Jira is the reason of this whole entire thing It’s gotta be Okay we can’t go that way we’ll have to figure our way and go around see there’s really no way to avoid things they just pop up when they want to I feel like I could take this zombie though you know [Applause] I found your photo thank you thank you so much you don’t know how much this means to me I already threw the gate go thank you good luck down here okay doing good doing good okay so now we’re back to avoiding

Doctors I’m gonna guess [Applause] it must have been a calico holy Snipes that’s a calico Lord I thought it would just be another zombie see that makes sense that I can’t fight that thing Is there a map okay no we just gotta figure our way out someone tells me we’re gonna need to get in that room everything is locked up tight yep I’m going to have to lift the lock down if I want to get out of this Hospital The door seems to be locked it looks like there’s a key card scanner next to it I better go find that key card oh that means we’re looking for a person or a passed away person one of the two those things look freaky he said I can understand why I can’t

Fight it because see the key card in there it looks Chuck but I couldn’t possibly use my hands for that yeah why couldn’t I use my hands for that right so they can’t open doors but everything else can oh thank God I can’t use my hands for that huh I mean what else We looking for another crowbar why did I ditch the other one soon as I opened up the uh elevator just disappeared Should have hung on to it I could have used it here that Calico leave already so we’re looking for uh Like are we looking for a weapon then tranquilizer Oh well we gotta get past it it’s not like it’s moving foreign Stuck in a door Uh okay I was looking for a weapon and I found a spider eye These things don’t like doors Fermented spider eye whoa okay I guess they can make it through doors Oh no there’s a gap behind me I just didn’t see it The Gap okay is that yep all right was with these eyes these spider eyes and these fermented eyes like what’s what’s going on with them okay we’re back here still haven’t found anything I could use to knock him out No no no no no been there already I could throw hot coffee at him foreign So they can make it through small gaps did I get that netherwort I get that no I didn’t I’m probably gonna need it gunpowder I think I showed it too low late yeah I did I think I’m pretty sure it’s all just random stuff but we gotta gather we never know what we might need pretty sure he’d let us know by saying something if we did pick up something that we can actually use But still just in case pick up everything grab everything Oops What in the name of I gotta get this guy out of here come on follow me boss What is going on here all right Machine ingredient it’s probably the dog going So we’re mixing all this up to basically make a sleeping potion this looks like all right so I need to go back and find that one I think that’s the last ingredient that I’m gonna need to I cannot remember which room it was though because I was just I was just running through rooms grabbing stuff there we go so now we gotta make it back I think that’s it thank you Foreign God I am not very observant I am not very observant at all Let’s get one more just in case I miss no I am not very observant at all I I just started I just started grabbing things and figuring once I saw it pieced together but no I didn’t you know there’s a brewing instruction right over there [Laughter] what’s this gun powder for foreign Now I just need to remember weird yes yes it’s this way it’s this way down this way yo over here oh wait there’s a door huh see this I like playing around with these guys I can understand why I can’t fight them and they can’t make it through doors what

Do you mean that’s why you make backups kid I need to go in actually go in there for this guy huh okay you can’t go out but I have to go in I might be able to cook something to take care of that call again use it security this time [Applause]

Yeah January refuse we’re gonna need that so we’re gonna have to restore power then free uh stop the lockdown I could probably replace the fuses in the power station I just need to find some spares there’s some lying around two don’t know how many we need so we’ll just check around until we find as many as we can find thank you foreign I actually like dealing with the color

Goals they’re actually interesting I think most importantly it makes sense for me to be running from them I’m gonna guess we need four so we need to find two more Where are those fuses already got that one foreign button Is there any fuses in there I’m sick so Is there a way to get up top oh yep there they are one yeah just keep running just keep running running what do we do we run run here ah there’s the other one Yeah lost it ah We gotta get back upstairs where are those spare fuses actually that last one should be easier to get there’s a door there if I can get in I can run run through it wrong one there it is this one oh you’ve gotta be yanking me

Okay what I need to do was I should have lowered that one out shut the door then go back in Yo what’s up don’t mind me ladies and gentlemen I’m just trying to get back out of here I’m going the wrong way huh I didn’t close it in time let’s try that again shall we foreign Gates open So what are the calicos then You just have to find out how to lift the lock down now I did it all right now all I have to do is get out of here it’s never that simple okay Okay we’re gonna have to run back excuse me so I can’t open that because we gotta run back through all of this Because the door was in that other area wasn’t it yeah it’s in here really yeah you’ll never catch me alive you you’re a Bernard right the person that Dr jira is tearing this Hospital apart for unfortunately yes I am who are you my name is Arrow oh okay Dr Arrow

The original doctor of the hospital I heard you disappeared what happened the work that chair and I did caused this whole outbreak I knew it you were selfish could have prepared the world for this threat but we thought we could handle it ourselves and become Heroes obviously that didn’t happen

Do it was a fascinating Discovery when we first found the disease a patient had come in describing constant out-of-body experiences violent tendencies and random outbursts of anger we spent ages trying to develop a cure with no luck I decided it was time to go public with our research we weren’t making progress

Quickly enough and with the help of researchers and doctors across the world we may have had a chance to cure it before it became uncontrollable however jira still wanted the glory and fame that would have come from curing this alone he threatened to kill me if I went public with the information but

Assured me that together we could develop a cure before it was too late stayed and because I had to try to find a cure even if I was essentially a hostage as you can tell we weren’t fast enough our patient zero eventually turned into a Galligan and attacked us

During one of his checkups a few weeks later we tried to lock him in the basement but he escaped after two more weeks our worst fear became in reality all over the world caligan started to appear it spread like wildfire it became an epidemic that swept the world and if

Jira hadn’t let his pride get in the way could have had help from all the best Minds in the world and warned everyone that’s so much to take in what happened to you jira happened of course I’ve been experimenting on me and everyone else that is down in the

Caligan ward he had not be unconscious and dragged me down there shortly after the outbreak a few days ago he got a little too ambitious with his testing on me and I’ve been infected with the disease just like everyone else down I thought people got locked in down there after a

Containment Breach that’s the story jira talk in reality he lured people down there saying he was going to be making some revolutionary changes that would help accelerate progress on making a cure human experimentation was it was his revolutionary change don’t trust him I made that mistake and now I’m here

Year will do this to you too if not worse he wants to make a cure solely to become the world’s savior not to truly help anyone you can’t jira what are you doing he was turning into a caligan if I waited any longer he could have attacked you me or anyone

Else in my Hospital stay back he was turning into a call again because of you wasn’t he I do admit I played a part in that yes what makes you think doing everything made my mistakes I am human and as much as I would like to be I’m not perfect

I wanted the glory to myself can you blame me what would you have done in my shoes not that chance to be the savior of the entire world now I’m trying to atone from my mistakes and fix the problems I’ve caused as far as what happened with arrow and

Everyone else down in the ward it was a terrible and unfortunately necessary action what makes you think that you have the right to choose that the ends justify the means few lives given up for the continued survival of the world you know I lost my family trying to create this cure

I’ve lost as much as anyone else here I’m not asking for forgiveness I made my mistakes and I own them but I will not apologize for taking the steps necessary to save the world stay here and be the last piece I need to make this cure Bernard your sacrifice

Can save whatever is left of the world I’m asking you to be the hero we all need if you leave this place you will Doom Humanity all for a few days of Freedom before you perish how do you know the Cure will work I don’t I’m taking a risk a risk worth taking

I’m hoping you will do the same Uh yeah I’m going to leave because the guy’s nuts no your methods aren’t Justified you tried to play the hero and you caused this I only did what I needed to do nothing more I’ve tried to correct my mistakes jira I wish I could believe you but all you want is money power

We don’t care about these people who care about being a hero and you’ll do anything for it you could be a hero too your name would go down in history wow you really don’t get it do you if you walk out that door you’ll regret it

I couldn’t stay and Trust Dr jira P was willing to experiment on humans and sacrifice others who’s to say would have ended with me my blood my resistance it’s a gift while I may not know why I have it or how long it will protect me

I’m living my own life now I’m setting out to find my purpose help wherever I can for as long as I can in my heart I know I made the right choice and if I’m lucky maybe my gift can be used to save someone’s life until then I’ll do what I can

I just need to stay alive [Applause] okay nice I like the story behind it Definitely interesting again that voice acting really brings it to life that doctor ‘s uh he was weird like I knew he was crazy just how he was talking to you I’m like they did a really good job with him and his voice acting because he’s coming

Off as this calm now murdered doctor but in truth dudes nuts but you can really kind of bring it out you can see it like I like that like like this he has that creepy calm kind of serial killer style Vibe coming from him kind of like Hannibal Lecter you know

What I mean um yeah over that that was interesting um I like I said I kind of prefer gameplay where I can defend myself even if it’s basically they could take me out in two hits but I can still do something to defend myself is I feel better

It’s a better Horror’s desk and then you know you have to heal yourself you can’t read you can regain health you know I’d rather play around with horror like that so I have to manage my resources to fight the right fights not to mention it it just wasn’t easy to avoid things

So I’m like make it if I have to avoid things you need to make it so that slow it down the combat slow down the gameplay so that I have time to oh look there’s a Calico I need to work my way around it or make it easier for me to
