Brandon Stilley Gaming – Minecraft: Exploring, Mining & House – Episode 2 (Survival Island Let’s Play 2)

Hello mr creeper uh oh no oh geez okay that was close that could have been bad Hey guys i am back with episode 2 for the brand new survival island let’s play series and in this one i plan on finishing the main exterior of the house is that we ended up starting in episode one after we get that done i actually want to make a small garden just right

Outside of our house so we have some extra food because right now i really don’t have that much food at all i have some apples some raw meat and some carrots which i actually don’t want to eat because i want to be able to plant those that is mainly all of the food

That i have we could kill all of the animals here on this island but i actually want to breed them since we have them all here already it makes it a lot easier so i want to be able to breed all of them and not kill them quite just yet

And then another thing i want to do in this episode is possibly just start exploring more of the map because i really didn’t do too much of that in episode one and i want to see if we could find any islands that possibly have some pumpkins

On them so we could plant some pumpkin seeds and that’ll be another extra food source that we could put in our garden so those are all of the plans that’s like everything that i have planned for this episode right now i’m just mining down all of this wood so i could have some

Blocks to start working on the exterior of the house so there’s not really too much more to do we also have to possibly try to find well we have a bunch of sand so we have to start cooking up all of that so we could get glass for our windows and stuff

But i’m gonna start working on the house and that is the plant so i want a back porch right here i’m going to bring this up a second floor as i will top it off with the roof and then i want a balcony up there at the front

So let me actually just get all prepared for that and i’ll continue working on the house and then we’ll get on to doing the small garden guys want to know what i actually just noticed there are two pumpkins in the chest already that i actually ended up

Finding i think in some treasure chests in episode one so we actually don’t have to find any pumpkins because we already have some we’ll just uh make those into pumpkin seeds so that we could plant some more so that is one thing that we actually don’t have to worry about

Finding here in this episode but i still do want to actually do some exploring since we really didn’t do much of that in episode one but yeah let me just gather up all of my wood i’m trying to just organize all of my loot real quick

And i also want to start cooking up some of this other food just so we have something to eat for now but yeah let me just uh get all ready i’m gonna just do more work to the house and i’ll update you guys uh every once in a while when i have a

Little bit more of the house done and yeah so i’ll see you guys in a second all right guys i am adding the extra layer this is like the ceilings for the first floor of the house right now and then uh what i’m gonna do is try to find

A place to put a staircase so that will start bringing up the second floor okay guys i’m collecting some more wood from all of the trees out here and here’s a little update on the house so i brought up the walls for the second floor i have to just add one more layer

Up there but i ended up running out of wood i think oh wait let me actually gather up some more because i have to add the layer for the ceilings as well up there so we need quite a lot of wood not too much but i’m gonna need more

Than what i have now after we do the ceilings and the last layer up there for the walls is that we’ll start doing the roof of the house and i want to use cobblestone stairs for the roof so i’m gonna make a small little mine and just

Start mining down into the ground so i could gather up some cobblestone and then we’ll be able to finish the house we also have to get some sand and start cooking that up and uh it’ll make it into glass which actually i think i should do now so uh

Because it’s gonna take a little while for it to all cook up so might as well gather up a bunch of sand now and while we’re working on the house uh it’ll all be cooking up so we’ll be able to basically get two things done at once so

Let me collect all of this i’ll put it in the furnace and then we’ll head on to doing the roof of the house after i get the ceilings done okay i just added the ceilings here on the second floor so that is all done is there anything else we need to do out

Here uh not really we’ll have the roof over maybe we can bring the roof out and overhang it above the balcony here i actually think i’ll do that all right but let me head back down see how the glass is doing oh i forgot about the uh the new

Textured glass with the texture pack now all right we’ll go ahead and uh just make some regular glass i forgot about that all right so let’s fill in all of these it looks like we’re probably just gonna be able to do it for the first floor

And maybe like one window on the second floor i almost forgot we actually have to bring a staircase up so i would say we could bring it up right here so let me actually make oakwood stairs and i am out of wood so this might be enough i don’t know

We’ll add two like that two right there let’s move that out of the way and that will go up right here yep this is actually going to be perfect so i like to leave two spaces here is that we have two spaces down there so then let’s actually move this upstairs

So our bedroom will be up here we’ll just put the beds there so that works out good let’s use the glass and we’ll just add the page right there in the front for now i almost forgot let’s actually add torches up here because it’ll be really dark we don’t want any enemies

Spawning up here especially like a creeper because we just got this all done and we don’t want a creeper to like blow up the house after we get it done that wouldn’t be good let’s head back down maybe we could carve this out probably not necessary is that we could

Possibly have just uh some fences around that as a rallying and then let’s make some more fill all of these in and then all we really have left to do for the exterior of the house is just the roof then we basically have it done that we’ll get on to doing everything else

That we plan on doing this episode which is up next is the garden all right let me uh make a little mine i would say oh yeah we still have to do the back porch but i’m not too worried about doing that quite just yet

We’ll do that later but i want to make a mine maybe we’ll just dig down some at random place okay let’s um we’ll go right here actually i like this spot so this will be our mine for now and then eventually we could actually make maybe go to a different area i don’t

Know but we’ll just start digging it down right here because all i really need is some cobblestone real quick it would also be nice to actually get some iron because i don’t think i have any more now because i used it all on like mainly like wooden or not wooden but

Like axes but yeah be nice to get some iron so let me just start mining down in here i still have a stone pickaxe as well okay i did just find some iron so i don’t have to continue using this stone pickaxe going all the way down here from

Now on so let me mine this hopefully there’s more okay i was gonna say there better be more than two all right we got the iron let’s finally upgrade to an iron pickaxe there we go don’t need to use the stone anymore i’m gonna continue working my

Way down now this is gonna go a lot faster and who knows maybe we’ll actually find some diamonds that would be really nice all right guys my s my pickaxe just broke i almost said my stone pickaxe just broke but my iron one just broke so i’m actually gonna head

Back up i think i should have enough cobblestone to start doing the roof of the house but i do actually want to head back down here later on and continue mining so we could possibly find some diamonds it’ll also be nice to get a lot

More iron than i have because i don’t i still don’t have that much let me just make another iron pickaxe now so we could have it for later and i’ll just leave all that down here let me head back up actually let me grab the crafting table because this is the one

That i want on me and actually it is dark so there’s gonna be enemies up here all right all right it’s okay it oh that is not the front door it is over here hopefully nothing spawned in my house i think we’re good all right cool that was easy all right

There we go so i actually do have a little bit more iron on me so let me put this in a chest or not on a chest and the furnace and now let’s actually start doing the roof of the house let me make cobblestone stairs why are they still

Dying they have been burning forever all right well oh whoa there’s a bunch of skeletons right there geez i didn’t even see them all right we’re good as long as they don’t shoot me while i’m on the roof then i have no problem with them staying

There until i go down to kill them all right let me build up right here oh all right we got this all right oh man good thing he wasn’t like right here because i most likely would have either died or the house would have gotten destroyed oh jeez

Okay i have to go down there and kill them let me take care of that real quick who shot me oh that’s another creeper i’m actually really low take care of these guys there’s a lot of enemies actually out here this is really dangerous and i can’t hit this one i literally

Can’t even hit that skeleton right there you guys see that it’s glitched oh this guy’s armor so he’s not taking any fire damage what why did he just blow up he blew up because of the skeleton that was a rip-off all right i didn’t know that could

Happen because i was not near him there’s no reason for him to have blown up because of me you are about to die buddy there we go all right let me eat real quick all right now i think we’re good nothing else to worry about let’s actually start finishing our house now

Okay i went all the way around with the birch stairs and slabs now i’m going to start shaping out the triangle shapes and then i think it should look pretty good the roof i don’t know it’s kind of it might be a little bit weird looking i’m not too

Sure how it’s going to turn out although it is just a house so i think we’ll be fine but let me bring this up and then let me go down and start bringing this side up okay so i just finished with the cobblestone stairs for the roof so

That’s all done we just have to make some more birch stairs which i actually have to plant more birch trees because i don’t have any birch wood and then we also have to fill in just like two more blocks here of oakwood okay now we have the house for the most part done

For now so this is what that side is looking like okay i think the front side is probably going to be the best and we still have to do the back porch i forgot about that again uh this is what the front is looking

Like so it is a house it’s just a little shelter we’ll probably make some more houses later on but for now this is just gonna be kind of like the house we live in probably for a while unless we find a nice island to settle down on

Uh when we start exploring but for now this is what we have all right so let me do a cool back porch kind of similar to this but it’s gonna be way smaller it would kind of just be like a little step down into here so i think that’ll be good for the

Little back porch just kind of like a step down to the main ground level and then let’s actually have birch slabs on top of those oak wood blocks like that and i think that’ll be good yeah i like the way that looks and so we still have to put some more

Dirt around the bottom of the house but i’m not worried about that for now so we have this all it done and now let’s actually just start making a little garden near our house so there we go and i would say we could possibly just make it in the front

Somewhere up here so first off let me grab all of the food we plan on planting so we have just regular wheat seeds pumpkin seeds we have carrots and potatoes that is everything that we have for now oh we actually need to make some buckets so we could get buckets of water

So i have it over here so we just need enough space so that is the front so we’ll carve out a row right here for water oh my my shovel just broke dang it let me actually just make one out of this real quick all right there we go

Is that we’ll have another row of water here as i will fill all of this in and then we’ll have water filled in for those so let me just grab that all right there we go so we have that side done now let’s do this side okay let’s use our hope

Dig out all of these right in the middle and then here on the side okay let me actually just patch up this side here so we’ll leave it like that for now we’ll make we’ll eventually like make a greenhouse and stuff later on but let me

Just plant all the food so we do have some food here for now so we’ll have a bunch of wheat seeds on the side here and then we’ll put the pumpkins on the other side so right here like that and then right here in the middle we’ll just have pumpkin or not

Pumpkins uh potatoes and carrots so i have potatoes back here then carrots right here and while we get more carrots we’ll plant the rest here we could have evened that out actually but it’s all good i actually want more carrots and potatoes because i normally eat carrots more often you know what

We’ll just plant the rest of these potatoes for now since we have them like that so just let that all do its thing hopefully none of the crops get destroyed with the animals all over them but i think they’ll be fine and then let’s go out and start adventuring

Around all of the other islands see if we can find anything cool here on this first map and eventually we’ll actually explore the entire map just not right now because it is a really big map so it’s going to take a lot of time to actually go around and explore

Let me just stack up on a little bit of food and get a bunch of tools and stuff that will go out on our boat and start exploring a little bit so now let me find my boat should be over here maybe we could actually search some shipwrecks as well

But let’s go over in this direction i don’t think did i ever search that shipwreck i think i did okay no i did not loot this there’s actually a bunch of iron and emeralds in here so i’ll grab all of that all right head back up okay there we go

Oh look we can see our house i think it looks pretty nice it’s a little bit of a weird shape than what i would normally build but it is just a nice little survival house it’ll uh keep us sheltered from any enemies see what we’ve got

So we got a treasure map and then a bunch of books and then it’ll be nice to get all these feathers as well so if we need to we can make arrows okay let’s see where this treasure map is that looks like it was at the other

Island that we already looted all right well let’s just keep on going it’s actually getting dark now so we kind of are near the house maybe we could go back go to sleep and then we’ll start heading further in that direction all right now let’s head back i’m just

Going to here we’ll go this way so we could just go from we’ll we’ll wrap around the border of the map and then we’ll work our way in what is this i’ve never seen this before oh i think it’s the sea pickles yeah they are we’ll we’ll check these out see what

These have all right i’ve never found those before actually i’m pretty sure you could probably eat them right you might have to cook it or something maybe i don’t know all right let’s keep on going okay i’m right above this shipwreck so i might as well just explore it since i’m here

So let me do that see what it has all right there’s honestly not really anything worth taking in there just some resources which i could get pretty easily well actually i haven’t found you know what that’s what we got to do we have to find some sugar cane

So we’ll actually just go to some of the islands and see if there is any because i haven’t actually found any yet and that’ll be another thing we could add to our garden all right let me go down one more time and get this last chest

All right so we have the treasure map that is number six and then we just have like a brand new map so we’ll actually grab that so we don’t have to make another one oh it’s another chest oh i think that might have been the one i

Looted yeah that is the one i looted okay it looks like this treasure actually isn’t even on an island right now oh might be on oh it’s this little piece of sand over here all right i believe it’s on this one yep okay oh i just found it

All right we got another diamond and we got a full set of chain mill armor so if we actually like let’s say our iron armor breaks right now we could probably just switch to the chain armor now let’s just um it is getting dark so that’s not good

But let me just keep let me work my way back over to our actual map because i want to still discover everything over there first i’m actually going to go over here and see if there’s any sugar cane because remember we are still looking for that this is actually a

Really really nice island look at all of oh man that is a lot of enemies i don’t think i want to live on this island but no it is actually like a really good one you can actually build some really cool we might actually come back to this

Island to build a bunch of cool stuff is this the map that i already discovered oh no i did a different one but yeah we’ll definitely have to come back here if we remember because this is a really nice island i hope we could actually find sugar cane

Because right now i’m not having any luck oh i see some sweet okay let’s make sure that we actually have an inventory slot we’ll just give her the treasure maps i don’t think we need those anymore i already have lapis ami i think i left lapis in one of the chests thinking that

I didn’t have any where did my boat go oh right there yeah i think i left some lapis in a chest i think i didn’t have like thinking my inventory was full and thinking that i didn’t have any lapis for extra space but i guess i already had some

All right well let me work my way back toward our main island we did get some sugar cane so now we could plant that all right i found more sugar cane over here on this little sand island here so we’ll grab that there are a few more islands behind me on our map

But it’s nothing really too special i’m not sure what i actually expect to find but i do just want to actually look around our map and see if just i just want to discover it all basically i really don’t expect to find anything cool it’d just be nice to have our

Entire map discovered uh oh hey stop pushing my boat what are you doing all right i guess i’ll just head back to our island and we’ll continue i i want to go mining actually or we could uh search a bunch of shipwrecks like we got one right here let’s just

Search this one i actually don’t want to search them at night because it’s kind of hard to see let me just work my way back to the house well the sun actually is coming up right now all right i guess i’ll just continue exploring around let me get this shipwreck right here

Ah well that’s not very good there is coal in there but i have to get back up it’s really hard to actually see got a bunch of iron again we’ll grab all of that is that we’ll go back down one more time and get that last chest which is underneath

Oh wait where is it uh oh wait is this one different i think this one’s a little bit different oh it’s right there okay let’s go back up and then we’ll get that one all right we just got more feathers and another treasure map i’ll just get rid of that block of wood

Let’s head back on the boat and let’s look for this treasure map or for the treasure oh okay it’s over we’re like right in the center of the map that has never happened to me before i’ve always been like off the like off of the map i was right in the center

All right so it’s on the side are you kidding me there’s just a random creeper floating around in this water wow all right well it’s definitely on here skeleton just died here all right let’s get this creeper might as well just let him blow up in the water oh he almost did hello

Goodbye all right let’s see where this treasure is it’s all the way over here all right guys my shovel just broke i am not finding this treasure anywhere i don’t know where it is but i have been here for a while i’m like right on the x the x is right over here

It’s basically in the water but i don’t see the chest anywhere maybe it’s like right here all right well i don’t see it there i guess we’ll just leave this one behind because i don’t know where it is and my shovel broke so yeah i guess we can we’ll just carry on

Work our way back towards the towards our house and we’ll go mining a little bit because i want to try to find a bunch of iron and stuff we gotta stack up on some stuff so let me just head back over where’s our map is it this map

All right head back over to our main island let’s store all of this stuff that we have that we ended up collecting we got an extra diamond got a bunch of emeralds we got some potions some gold we got all this armor we’ll put that in there that in there

We got a bunch of ingots or not ingots nuggets all right i think that’s everything right but we’ll put this in there as well and then we got this treasure map which i’ll probably just get rid of eventually okay and then i actually have this other map

We’ll put in there for now let’s store all of our other stuff all of this then we have i’m not sure if this is food or what this is but i’ll just put it in here for now oh wait let’s plant uh we won’t do the sugar cane just yet we actually also

Have to make sure that there’s sand for it okay now i want to go mining so first let me see well we don’t have any food let me cook up all of this food all of this meat and we’ll just uh head down with all of

That we got to make some more pickaxes as well i don’t have that much coal all right there we go oh i have a bunch of sand on me let’s get rid of that now i have some more pickaxes there we go let’s just put this shovel there

So we have all of that that we have this food cooking up we’ll put that in there let’s grab that and then we’ll grab that wait for that to cook up so i have a little bit of food when we head down so i don’t have that much coal so i’m

Not going to worry about making torches quite just yet so let’s just head down we’ll go all the way down to diamond level see if we can find any diamonds and yeah we’ll see if we have any luck i also do want to stack up on a bunch of

Iron if we come across any and then we also actually need coal as well so that would be nice so let me just go all the way down to level 12. all right well i found some redstone so that’ll be some good xp i normally don’t use redstone but maybe

We could find a use for it in this series we could try to build something cool with the redstone or maybe we could do something simple like a hidden door we’ll see all right but i am almost down to level 12. i do also hear a little bit of lava

So we got to look out for that but let’s see oh this is level 12 right here okay so now i’m just going to continue mining in this direction it will start just making our mind down here and hopefully we’ll find some diamonds we need iron as well and a bunch of coal

Oh no water most like oh what do we got here it’s just like an underwater cave which i can’t get in all right well this doesn’t really look very good i might turn in a different direction now all right let me go back and see what that one hole was

This over here does this take us all the way up no it does not all right well i don’t see any diamonds in here so i’m just going to turn in a different direction so that’s all patched up now i’m just gonna maybe start doing some rows and see if we have

Any luck all right guys well i went this far down the only thing that i found was this coal so so far i’m not really having any luck even finding iron so i don’t know if we’re gonna find diamonds but i’m gonna continue mining maybe we’ll go down a little bit we’ll

Go over and do another row and see if we have any luck but yeah so far just a little bit of coal and that is about it oh wait i just found i found a cave so i did hear a zombie and i just found the cave so maybe if

This is big enough oh i see a creeper behind him okay hello mr creeper uh oh no oh geez okay that was close that could have been bad all right i see this other one here hello it’s okay no need to blow up a slime well hello how are you

Doing good thank you for the slime ball i appreciate it another slime what the heck all right there’s some gold and some iron there let’s see where this water takes us this is actually you know what i just remembered like going through caves and stuff is pretty

Fun and i find it to be pretty fun to watch so maybe if i ever come across any caves that could be something that we could go ahead and maybe do for an episode and stuff you know what maybe it would be nice to actually find a mine

Shaft as well that could be cool all right well actually before we go any further let me get all of these resources i’m seeing we have to head back and get all that other stuff i did see another slime and another way through a cave so we’ll check that out

All right so we’ll leave that later we’ll go back in there later let me grab everything else that i saw now let’s head up here let’s see if this is a dead end or if it continues so i do see some coal oh this looks like

It’s actually not a dead end i do hear a witch as well if you guys remember in episode one you know what happened with me and that witch it almost killed me all right let’s try to kill all the rest of these enemies i gotta kill this switch oh that was poison

That was poison i’m dead i am dead i hear a skeleton as well all right i see a skeleton hello all right thank you for that we gotta try to build up oh i see a creeper i see your feet over there or whatever those are hello

Oh i see two of them there is two of them i repeat there is two of them come over here it’s it’s safe for me over here please kind of blow up your friend for me all right there we go where’s this witch at don’t like that potion in your hand

How are you still alive you taking health he’s taking health or she i guess witches are she’s right why did that creeper die or the creeper wait did the creeper die no he did not die he did not die hello all right he’s dead i think i just about got everything in

This area i don’t see any more well my inventory is actually full so let me see i do have wood i’m going to make a chest now let’s store all of this cobblestone we definitely well we’ll keep like a stack on us just in case if we need to

Like build up or something we’ll keep a stack of coal on us we’ll put this iron in here and all this random stuff and then we’ll go back in mine all of the rest of the oars that we see and we’ll continue further down into this cave i think after we explore this

Cave we might just leave it at that for this episode i’m not honestly i don’t know what we did in this episode we built oh whoops we built our house and then we made a little garden we did some exploring and like found shipwrecks and stuff and now

We’re here in this cave i believe that’s basically all we did so really not too much i just mainly wanted to finish my house but uh yeah that’s basically all we did so we’ll just continue exploring in this mine okay guys i’m working my way down here i

Haven’t been down here yet well there goes that bat let’s see let’s light it up over here and hop on to this side hopefully there’s no enemies up here there’s probably going to be a creeper i guarantee you that uh oh i see something i heard something i heard a zombie hang on

All right well there’s a zombie as long as there’s no creeper i think i’ll be fine all right let’s see all right well this is a dead end so now we got that let’s just continue on further grab this okay well i just worked my way back to

The start so i guess that was basically about it for the caves uh i did hear more enemies so there could be another way but i’m actually gonna leave it at that for episode two guys so let me actually work my way back to the house didn’t have any luck finding any
