Brevort – Bringing a SHULKER to the OVERWORLD – (Let’s Play #51)

Hello everybody and welcome back to another episode of the let’s play series we are in the end today which is a very very strange place to start an episode out but you’re gonna really quickly see why and it has nothing to do with the fact actually it has a lot to do with

The fact that I have diamond armor do you think did I fall into the void and lose my armor hmm well no I did not uh this is actually the reason we have this armor is because this armor doesn’t have this is a different helmet too uh I just haven’t

Gotten netherrite on these yet these are backup things in case of emergencies in case I’m in the Nether and I get killed by a zombified piglet and I can’t get my stuff back I can use this armor to protect myself on my way there or whatever other whatever other strange

Purpose I end up um finding for this armor but most importantly this doesn’t have thorns on it which means uh it’s really good for for moving mobs I don’t know exactly where but there’s an end City and I really really really want to get shulkers into the Overworld I have some

Mine carts I have some rails I don’t know where this end city is I’m gonna have to bring up the coordinates all right so it looks like it’s at uh 400 1700 so that’s quite a ways hopefully there’s an end Gateway nearby and then maybe I’m not exactly sure how

To move shulkers through portals I I assume I should just be able to use a mine cart and then break it right okay this must be it yep the reason we don’t want uh Thorne’s armor is when the shulkers hit us which I’m sure they will they’re duplicating this is exactly what

I want how am I just phasing through are they glitched so let’s see let’s see this how do I get the Shocker into the minecart maybe I need to do this stop it okay we got one we got one into a mine cart that’s good that’s good that’s good

Now I can’t get the mine cart all right we have extras it’s fine no really you’re not gonna get in that what if we do this instead please stop will they get into a mine cart if it goes near them I can’t get it to me nope and I push the throne away

Oh dude why’d you get right in my way of my ax swinging I think he teleported to me I don’t know what happened there because I don’t think he was in my hip or like in my oh maybe that happened I don’t know also they’re not hitting me at all which is

Very confusing like I don’t even think they’re targeting me okay this okay one guy’s here there’s a lot of guys in this room why are there so many in this room ah this is so much more difficult than I thought it’d be okay whoa he just like launched me okay

Let’s see if this works okay that works that works so that just has to be a block for their back okay they are doing a tremendous amount of damage to me like I am genuinely shocked I did not know they’d do this much damage that guy just died

How did he die they have like 24 Health points and armor points on top of it oh he’s probably the guy I whacked with my ax twice in a row by accident by accident you okay so the nearest one is about 600 bucks that way right yeah that way so

What that means is that I have about half as many rails as I need which is not great um in addition uh yeah I don’t I I there’s like no way uh I’m just trying to think what to do then you know what might be easier

Instead of trying to find the one that’s closest to um the one that’s closest to spawn what if we just try to find one that’s really close to an existing end Gateway well let’s see if we go this way I know there’s an end City out this way but I

This is like the first one we visited like even before we killed the Ender Dragon so I was that a window or was that a shulker this thing is really small by the way I think it was a window sadly yeah I don’t even hear yeah that’s a window

I don’t hear any shulkers yeah it sounds like I killed them all which I guess doesn’t really surprise me whoa being that I was like very hungry for shulker shells at the time because I really wanted to get shelter boxes and I didn’t even grab the dragon

Head I think I was worried that I’d fall into the void oh I heard it where is he is he over here yeah he’s over here I think it there might be two let’s see uh that’s not the right one Ah that’s not working I’m trying to do

The X-ray like cheaty thing where you can like x-ray through blocks by using by like resetting your chunks really fast but it’s not working right now uh but this is going to be even further though this is like 1200 blocks out so hmm is there a is

You know what let’s do I’m gonna check chunk bass again and I’m gonna see if there’s an Gateway near here I don’t imagine there’d be one too far out right there there shouldn’t be 1300 and zero that is very very close should be right over there then I know I don’t see it

Should be right around here there’s no way it changed why would they have changed the generation of end gateways oh this is irritating so it turns out the generation of end gateways actually has changed since I generated this world which is really dumb I don’t know why they would have changed it

Like there’s been no changes to the end so why would they change the generation of where and gateways generate that doesn’t make any sense to me and it turns out the closest one is really far away so I guess plan C uh which is using chunk bass to find an

End City that’s really really close to an end Gateway and then trying to get the shulkers from the end City into the end Gateway I think that’s our best bet at this point being that I don’t really want to push shulkers 1200 blocks over the void that doesn’t

Really sound like something I want to do oh man I did some really cool stuff and I didn’t get it on video and I’m so sad so um what I did is I went ahead and made invisibility potions so now I should be able to get away with

Them not seeing me so the only thing that I’ve encountered so far that’s an issue is that it seems that they won’t I think this is the fix to it yeah there we go okay oh he took a little bit of damage but it should be fine

They have plenty of armor points too so oh it worked yes okay that’s one all right so yeah um I did check chunk base I found the end Gateway is like spawned on top of the end city which is like hilarious so it makes it very easy to do this uh I went

Ahead and I boxed in a bunch of the shulkers so they whoops so they wouldn’t keep shooting me but then I realized I could just use invisibility potions um there was a guy here but I just I just teleported him there’s one guy here I believe nope that was my crafting station

I think they’re they’re yeah they’re in the corners so let’s get them I want to get at least two I have my elytra on my hot bar in case I somehow fall into the void uh which hasn’t happened yet so hopefully it doesn’t can I just do this and push and push a

Minecart into them I don’t have a mine cart every potion ingredient you can imagine I have in my under chest so that’s nice uh so I just went ahead and brewed invisibility potions so that worked really well is there any way for me to okay that worked why did he see me huh

What okay I think if I break line of sight to him he should stop tracking me eventually why did he see me okay so I think you just can’t get close to them I think that was what happened oh okay now I just have to get

I think if I do this this should work he’s coming very ah did it I hate that I hate that Minecarts do that okay Oh and I can’t nudge it either no no no no no no no no okay so yeah it turns out if you do break a line of sight they will stop tracking you eventually I can’t nudge it I guess what I need to actually do is this I don’t know why I

Didn’t realize that before what huh all right what if I do what no I wasn’t even near you no no that was dumb all right stop tracking me okay if I put a rail here I can’t and that’s downhill and then I break oh that didn’t work this yes

So I cannot nudge them that’s the downside to this is like you just cannot nudge them all right so now we’ll go ahead and head back I want to see if they’re both there oh they’re here they’re here they’re here all right I gotta get them out of here now

And oh they’re hitting each other no wait they might have duplicated okay it’s bad they’re hitting each other but if they duplicate that’s good because then I get extra chances with this I also want to make sure they don’t suffocate as soon as they go through the

Portal so I probably should make sure that it’s like safe so spawn is right oh it’s got to be right there because that’s where the minecart is okay so it’s got to be right here let me go ahead and just pillar up and then I’m going to make a

At least I assume this is the way it is no it’s over here okay so it’s like right these four blocks then it looks like if I do this like he guaranteed should get in the minecart right like guaranteed yes okay how am I gonna break that

Minecart now all right so we have a new plan here we’re going to try to drop get the shulker really close and then we’re going to um use an activator rail do I have an activator I don’t have an activator rail okay all right let’s hope this works so

Basically we want to get them to go to right here I tried dropping sand on the guy and that didn’t even work so right why did he come back no why is he coming back okay he didn’t that time oh he had an Enderman stupid

So now I just have to push the button I really hope this works no dang it I wonder if maybe we get him into the corner here we can do something with that wait this actually could work really well because this is a corner here so he’ll like glitch into this block I

Think and then I could just break the mine cart hopefully uh yeah I can use my Trident if it doesn’t work flawlessly all right and now I’m gonna put a minecart here or a track here and then I’m gonna break this and Stone so it’ll go uphill there we go

I’m gonna use my Trident and then I didn’t think to all right no oh he saw me shoot oh and he didn’t go into the block oh because I didn’t have it in the right spot oh now they both see me okay it doesn’t matter if he sees me as long as

Oh why did he take damage no how did he kill himself what all right so I absolutely need to get more shulker boxes now or more shulkers now I’m sure I’m gonna get this comment they’re gonna be like why don’t you just break the blocks like these blocks uh it’s Bedrock so

I can’t do that hello I think you’re broken dude okay enjoy yourself I just realized I forgot to take out the tracks from in here before I went to the Overworld so they got deleted the shulker’s gone I hear him still so that’s good he still exists so he’s probably on the bottom

Which is gonna be a pain okay I don’t believe it until I I’m not gonna believe it till I see it but apparently what I’ve seen is you can use red mushrooms to break the whoa why is it so laggy to break the End Portal

To like free the Shocker so uh I guess we’re gonna have to try it there’s no way this is gonna work I’m so doubtful of this I think it’s just gonna use up the bone meal oh but yeah it didn’t work I I had a feeling it wasn’t gonna do that

So it said it works at 1.19 but I was like there’s no way like they would they would have fixed that so I accidentally killed that shulker that was stuck in the portal I’d rather not have killed him I had this genius idea the problem is it’s actually

Impossible to break the mine cart that Ashok is in because the shulker’s hitbox is larger than the Minecart’s hitbox so um so I’m going to test something here with a snow golem as my test dummy um and I want to see if I can get the bow into the corner of the portal

Because if I have a boat it’ll be a lot easier I know that much so I I know also we can hit um like boats and mine carts through corners of blocks we’ve killed three shulkers so far so this better work this is just not

Looking good so if I get a bow in the corner okay so let’s get a snow golem first of all um please don’t okay don’t wander off and don’t go into the portal oh I don’t have a ah what where did the pumpkins go I’ll shoot I lost the pumpkin somewhere

Along the way okay that’s fine we’ll just use this guys pumpkin um all right it’s now don’t go into the portal please and don’t and he went off the edge don’t do that nope don’t do that don’t do that don’t do that don’t do that stop stop stop

Okay so I need to get out break this come on get in the boat get in the boat get in the boat thank you thank you for getting in the boat now I just need to get it nudged to the corner now I need to get out

Well that didn’t work but it’s fine now I should be able to break the boat and send the snow golem through so I just need to do the exact same thing but with a shulker and then it’ll work to Perfection I think I’m gonna take this Minecart it’s been

There for ages anyway I don’t really need it like I’ve not used it in so long all right so now yeah you could see the bolts hit box right here so honestly I should just be able to do this no I guess not okay but I know I can do this

Boom so yeah the boat went to the Overworld now we go here oh rain what was that nice oh it’s my chair I think uh no it looks like it looks like he’s there with the boat on his head oh wait no that’s not him where did this oh he died here okay

Um I think that yeah this is planes I think planes is too hot for Snow Golems either that or he just like died of there might be the entity crime limit might have been reached there’s garbage everywhere so I wouldn’t be surprised whoa there is a crazy amount of Enderman

That’s kind of interesting let’s turn off hitboxes because that’s like scary I don’t know why there are so many Enderman it might be just because we’ve been traveling so much back and forth between there and here unfortunately we have to actually go back to the end city which is really far away

So far we’ve had about three hours worth of face palming but I’m just about done uh like when I say three hours I’m not joking it’s been genuinely like three hours of face palming this has been constant I have never not succeeded at something this much in

The game like that is how frustrating this is to me like I’ve never ever failed this many different ways at getting at doing something are you kidding me foreign are you kidding me I wasn’t even near them okay um I’ve gone through a stack and a half of food now

I need it to go that way that way is west so it’s gonna go the other way are you kidding me where how like what what how did he even Target me I don’t understand that actually you know what if we just do this it might work

Actually you know what I can do this there we go I’ll go that way and it’ll go up he teleported okay that is really good okay so that gets us the closest I’ve been so far I just need to get him okay yeah yeah we could do this we can

Absolutely do this now so what happened is he got he cloned himself so it got really infuriating really fast does he not see me okay well I better play this out while it lasts oh it didn’t let me place the boat it didn’t let me place the boat okay okay

Okay okay get out of the way you stupid mine cart there we go the stupid mind cart that made it so much more difficult all right now I need to end or Purl out quickly oh that was way too far I way overthrew that you’re not no you’re not mad you’re good

All right now I need to shoot the corner and yes yes oh oh there we go okay he should be there he should be right at spawn please be at spawn I’m gonna have to record the rest of this episode like not tomorrow because I’m busy not Saturday because I’m busy Sunday yeah

Huh this took all like all of my time I thought this would be like a 20 minute thing and I’d be done it absolutely was not yes yes we have a schalker here now okay all right okay okay it wasn’t quite three hours it was 2 25 when I started

This it is five it’s about 5 15 now so it’s been about two hours and 45 minutes that I’ve been trying to get a shulker into the Overworld and finally we did it yay and I you know what I just realized anytime I spawn here with Thorn’s armor

It’s gonna be a big Hazard for this guy so I need to get this guy out of here fast so I need to get him okay so what one thing I really want to do this is what I want to do for the rest of this episode

I don’t think we’ll be able to do it today because I am just like so infuriated by how long this took that like I’m so happy that it paid off but like the frustration that built up over time just drained me so much I tried dropping sand on the shulker I tried

Like I tried like everything you can imagine until I finally had the idea of dropping the shulker into a boat moving the boat to the corner if I got out of the boat that was it the shulker got stuck in the portal there was nothing I

Could do at that point but as long as I stayed in the boat with the shulker Ender pearled out and then shot the corner of the boat through the like through that little Gap that was the only way that I could think to get the shulker out of the portal all right you

Know what we’re done we’re done with this for this episode I’m gonna go ahead and start editing this down because I probably have like close to an hour and a half of footage I want to get this into like 10 minutes probably because I I still want to do my

Other thing that I have planned which is like building like okay so actually no this is editor brevort and seeing the time of the video you’ve probably assumed that we aren’t gonna do anything else in this episode because as I was editing it I cut out

Like an hour and a half worth of footage down into 25 minutes and it’s like there’s no way I can fit the rest of what I wanted to fit in this so we’re gonna go ahead and wrap up the episode here um and split this episode into two parts
