Hello i’m fbx toy cat and the most inhospitable place in minecraft is perhaps the end islands mostly because 99 of all of the blocks that exist out there are one of three things they’re going to be endstone they’re going to be chorus through or even worse they’re going to be air Blocks this is the vast majority of what you see and this is why i’ve been kind of curious given the big trend in trying to beat minecraft starting in the nether what if we try to beat minecraft but we spawn in the end islands what if we tried to beat the Entirety of the game despite being thousands of blocks away from the inner dragon in a place where there is no word no trees no real way to start life it should be impossible but it also should have been impossible to beat minecraft without mining or crafting so today We’ll be finding out precisely that so here we go as always we’re going to be on hard difficulty which means we’ll die in two hits from enemy it should be worth pointing out and also on a blank seat so we have no idea what’s about to be thrown at us Because that’s the point of any one of these challenges to see if it can be done on a random seed not a particular minecraft seed and that’s why i’m so curious as to how this one will go for me so although we can pretend that we naturally spawn in the end islands oh Man this is a really good overworld spawn that we have to ignore because we’re not taking anything with us instead what we’re doing is we’re going straight to the end the way i intend to get to the end islands is to spawn a n portal believe my feet now which will Take me to the end and then i can make myself an end gateway assuming i don’t look at an enemy that was a key assumption and then what we do is we teleport ourselves to a thousand blocks in each direction and we pray that we find Come on man i wasn’t expecting to find an end city but sure i guess two end cities as well this is a purely random seed i’m i’m going to leave that in the description now the the pure video of me loading up this world and accidentally realizing uh you know Like trying to find the gateway um block that exists i spent about five minutes trying to work out the command to put in a and gateway but it’s not successful anyway as you can see this is an end city and in that end city there is the one Lifeline that make might make this possible because you can sometimes find armor you can sometimes find iron which is worthless because we have no wood and sometimes you can you know diamonds and stuff too but sometimes you can even find tools enchanted or not that’s what i’m excited about and let’s see If we can maybe pull so these chorus fruit are the only food you will find at all out here for the most part and uh the only other thing that we can really do in the phase one the kind of living off the land thing that you can spend absolute hours doing In the overworld the only other thing we could get is potentially an ender pole but again in a pole we’d have to kill the endermen which means we have to break some of these end stone blocks of our fist to make a safe place for ourselves because We can’t hit an enemy 40 times in a row uh because they have 40 health points um and actually guarantee that’ll go well so instead what we do is we we thank the lord that we spawn there and end uh city if you don’t spawn there one you have to Kill enderman by the way but we thank the lord we spawn near an end city and then we take advantage of the chorus fruit being quirky to get inside of it because guarding the front of every end city i’m going to look at them but i’m going to very quickly back away Are those shocker boxes right there i don’t need to tell you i’m sure they’re like fixed turrets they exist in place it means we’re pretty good to go up here and even if we get hit we’re pretty much fine i think because we’ll just float up and as long as we Can get through this room unscathed the hardest one or mostly in this cave if we can get through here uh oh god we can’t we have to get hit because there’s a block blocking this thing right here okay there we go just please leave there we go so we have to get hit But only okay oh no no no no no no no no okay we have to not get hit more than two times again and the only way to avoid that is just kind of float around the outside punching these wherever we can because no one of those hits me And we are done for and then boom what’s this ion armor curse of binding and curse of vanishing so i can’t take these diamond leggings off once i put them on perform some protection is pretty good and this just has cursive binding so i won’t put that on in case we find Diamond yeah this really smart me to do here but yeah all almost like this this is so good luck it’s it seems too good to be true uh but i assure you i can show you the whole starting the world tour right now thing all on the blank seat this has all just Happened in a very weird insane way that we got not only diamond armor which is you know like you’re guaranteed to get that eventually look up but your guarantees get that eventually but more interestingly we’ve gone iron pickaxe which means we have access to blocks now We are playing a block based game and we have access to blocks which is great because if we want to get to that island say we don’t have to rely on shulkers like knocking us up followed by an ender pole or trying to go from island to island or Anything like that we can just bridge over using some purple blocks although because this line pickaxe only has efficiency we can only make we can only mine 256 blocks i think it is which is really really low if we want to cross a gap like that so We need another pickaxe especially if we want to make back to the main island so i’ll level with you right now there is many a youtuber who would be like oh it’s such a challenge i think we’ve gone most of the hard bits of this Out the way like this is this has gone from an impossible challenge where we stood no chance to actually pretty doable and maybe even better than starting in the earth world i don’t know for sure if we’re there yet but um i’m feeling pretty good and pretty confident about where we’re at As long as i can get down which is actually going to be surprisingly hard as a challenge so i’m gonna jump off this is ballsy because i don’t know how long it takes to do when it looks okay it takes about that long so we’re gonna eat as we okay we’re Gonna here’s a here’s a life pro tip stand at the edge of something so that way you can walk off at the very edge and then you can like do this and there we go we’re on the ground all but looked at enemies i looked at it That’s not good okay i hate that i have to do this i hate that this is a requirement but we’ll just keep running around in circles actually we can just mine our way in mine our way in there we go we’re good we’re good no okay we’re fine Oh except from that except for that okay [Laughter] so i do need an ender pearl that would help me so let’s do it i guess because the way i see this one we can save our iron pickaxe if we get an ender pole because we won’t have to bridge out as Many blocks to get to that next density that’s my kind of plan here so yeah i’m now done with phase two looting some stuff to actually be able to break blocks it’s really lucky that i spawn next one of these if you don’t you have to spend some time getting to One of these because the only way you can find any tool any armor any mineral well i can even use these gold these gold blocks just exist my world but the only way to find any of this stuff out there in the wild is to find an end city because it’s the I mentioned 99 was endstone chorus fruit and air this is the only part that’s not and even most of this is air and bricks and mostly unusable stuff it’s just sometimes they contain some chests yeah we’re not we’re not finding luck with this uh enderman thing so we’re gonna do instead Is we’re gonna run over there and we’re gonna try and pull some chorus fruit shenanigans oh no no no no no no wait wait wait no damn it if i’d have justine a tiny bit faster okay so this is a really terrifying situation there’s nothing around we can really do Besides in this kind of phase one of this end island survival yet the only two natural resources that will spawn here chorus fruit the only food in the entire end and thank god we can mine it with our fist and then the other thing is ender pearls ender pearls are of course Insanely hard to get if we mess up killing an enderman we we die in two hits actually so it’s even more nerve-wracking and i’m hoping we don’t have to come for that um because if we want to fight an amendment we basically have to make a little Safe place for ourselves we have to do something uh like oh look at that there is an end city behind me okay so we might not have to end a poll after all because there is an end city okay we’re gonna have to end the poll once one end of pearl And the associated damage that comes with it if we can do so will get us to not only an end city an end ships or an electra but also you can see over there i’m pretty sure that’s an end gateway so we’ve got a way back home too this is surprisingly doable actually And because we’re in phase one where we’re still living off the land do you know how we have to do that yeah we break it using our fist and a chorus plant it genuinely takes this long to minus single ends and block and you know what we have to do after That we have to mine another end stone plot and then do you know we have to do after this one well i’m glad you asked because we take a break for a cup of tea because i’m british and no no no we we make we make more end stone mining happen I don’t know how i ever assumed this would be faster or safer than getting an ender pearl but i assure you my sanity is not in safety right now in fact i’m at the point where given that i’ve been mining for a good 10 minutes And made a tunnel that you would make in seconds it might just be better to just see if we can course through outfit yeah we we could you know i’m glad that i did that and uh maybe you are too because now we can take on an end city Which is a very scary thing especially a big one like this look at the way this one’s even built but using just our chorus fruit we should be able to get through until we can find something to both keep us protected and hopefully way more importantly because you know while we’re living for The land we can’t break any blocks we can just oh we can rather we we can break these blocks right here and then we get chorus fruit we can’t break any blocks they’ll give itself back to us even glass we can break it with our hands but Again we don’t get it back if we want to get that we’re going to need a pickaxe out here and the only way to get a pickaxe is inside the loop chests inside of here so to get inside of here safely my plan is to force through until i’m inside obviously this relies On a certain degree of my forestry working man i’m just not having a good chorus through day to day huh but yeah we can teleport ourselves and mysteriously we will end up inside the end city sometimes probably there we go just like that and we’re in And now we just have to get through this entire thing without being hit by too many shulkers okay i think we have to get hit once i think this is the best way through to avoid getting hit more often sometimes the best strategy is to literally get hit once or twice it Sounds like a very bad piece of life advice and believe me it is but not here in minecraft so you can tell by looking at the outside that both this room and this room are just like kind of container rooms to get to the next one and the ones with the actual Chests i actually don’t know if there are any chests in this entire end city actually you ever play minecraft for 20 minutes and no yes there is in fact a chest in this one i thought i was crazy for thinking sometimes they have chests oh Boy well not if we die there’s no chests okay let’s go let’s go let’s go okay we’re breaking we’re breaking no we’re not no damn it okay we’re gonna die we’re over it’s it’s gg for us i think okay no yeah okay this is this is real bad this is There’s everything i don’t want in the world okay one last attempt let’s go let’s go let’s go let’s just stand next to this guy pray he can’t hit me and for some reason he can’t and there we go okay so now the stuff is on the ground We’ve got five minutes to get it relatively safely all we got to do is just come on no that’s none of this is working for me okay we’re gonna get it we’re gonna get it we’re gonna get it no okay we’re not okay you know what they say third time’s the charm I don’t know why they say that like okay maybe there’s something at a thousand seventy one thousand hey there is here we go as you can see we spawned here and suspiciously enough there is an end city again okay if this happens three times in a row We don’t even have to claim luck anymore right this is just it turns out minecraft seats are really good at giving you end cities about a thousand a thousand in one of the access this is this is my life pro tip go to a thousand a thousand or negative a thousand a thousand Sure they’re two thousand blocks apart but both of them have what you want and that means again skip phase one it’s gone uh head straight into phase two which is try and get those entity goodies and honestly if we don’t get though oh we’re gonna die i already said oh No no no no no no no no no no okay we’re live somehow oh no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no okay oh we got not only a pickaxe with an efficiency and i’m breaking not only a sword of smite which is Actually worthless against the dragon and a shovel which you cannot do anything with in the end but a diamond helmet and a diamond saw okay well there goes there goes that as i saw i’m actually gonna be using and uh so yeah now we’ve got an amazing way to kill stuff A way to mine things but we still don’t have any armor which is probably a good bet right um people always complain to me that they have issues finding entities and i agree like when i’m looking for end city i never find them but in this challenge despite the fact That without one i would die i’ve just been finding them non-stop so i don’t know if that’s just good luck you know the the game sense what i was doing and it sent some aid or if maybe there’s something else something else at play either way though feeling pretty good Anyway so yeah same thing as before we’re going to eat a course fruit mostly then pop off and there we go we’re at the bottom with access for the blocks that we broke and we could also get ourselves an ender pearl because we might need to cross a Gap at some point so let’s try it let’s let’s just go for this one you know oh okay and there are some ender pearls so even though i hate the phrase that the third time’s the charm because no the third time isn’t the charm the char the charm is when you Actually know what you’re doing and you manage to pull it off the number of times you’ve done something is irrelevant to your success but i digress um if even though i hate that phrase i think it is actually going to be correct here i think the third time Is going to be the thing that gives us the luck we need to push us over the edge see now when we finally make it to the top of this darn staircase we don’t have this little problem we can just break our way through and also because we have projectile protection Oh no half a heart however will i recover from this from this grave wound that you’re putting on me it’s fine i’ll just i’ll just keep taking it you know and also i can kill them as i go up it seems relative easy stuff and now oh Five diamonds we can’t do anything with them it’s so sad but also feather falling yes the second big fear that i have right now you know falling to my death also avoid it curse the banishing sword i mean i don’t need it but it’s nice to have and a saddle Also have zero use for it there’s none of that in the end here but sure fine why not okay so we’re in the place for pretty much nothing in sight we’re gonna have to fall down but again thank the lord for further falling and then we’re gonna have to end a pile Over to that ship i really would like to eat first but again i’m the the risk of me going down to the ground is relatively high so instead we fire the ender pole a little bit above there if we want to land on the ladder oh no Not high enough okay thank god we actually nailed that it seems and then we can get some health potions just in case we start dying always a good idea pro tip did you know every entity has these things also a brewing stand that we can’t use without glaze rods but Let’s not get too bogged down that and then boom what’s this is this an end city yes it is what am i going to do at the end city well i’m glad you asked because now i have an elytra i can’t i can’t like firework myself but that’s still kind of cool I have a diamond chest plate if i want it and some diamond leggings with blast protection which i don’t want to put on right now but i guess like what choice do i have as well as importantly a diamond pickaxe which will actually break things slower than this because this is efficiency 4. So i’ll keep this till it breaks then switching out to the mending down pickaxe i just realized even then we don’t need to because even though we can’t make fireworks what we can do is just find one of those little end portal gateways and indeed let’s oh god flying around on A litre is not a comfortable experience oh and that eating an electric is also not comfortable but here we are i’m finally eating finally coming back to health so it’s a bit weird to be 10-ish minutes into a run but here we are ready to fight the ender dragon I guess question mark there’s a lot of big unknowns about how i’ll do it because think about it how am i gonna take down the towers i don’t have a bone arrow can i get a bow and arrow of course i can’t get a bow and arrow Okay this is this is fine this is normal this is okay i am doing great right now but um okay getting to the top of the towers i guess i end up all up to them when did i look at you when did i okay this has to work or i’d die Hey it worked i don’t die can we just quickly praise my ballsy decision to get away from an enemy by literally flying and hoping i’d land somewhere so yeah all we have to pull off now is getting through this without looking at too many more endermen which Is apparently a hard task for me huh also we’re going to re-up on our course fruit because fun fact you actually can’t find these on the main island that should be obvious but it means that if we run out of food we die and that’s such a stupid way to Go i don’t want this to happen i don’t want it to be you know fourth times the charm so we make sure the third time counts and the way we do that is by grabbing all the choruses we can just in case we go for a lot of it because We might i don’t know how long this end dragon fight will take i don’t even know how to get for an end gate way apparently without that happening hey we did it okay we’re back at the end dragonfly can we kill the ender dragon or will the ender dragon Kill us genuinely curious i uh at this point yes again something i haven’t properly thought about is how to take down the towers i would have loved having fireworks or something just be able to fly up there do some magic but even then without a bow and Given that the um there’s a weird maybe bug maybe intended interaction but if you end a poly tower on bedrock at least the tower will explode after the enderpearl is prone which means you die in other words so instead my strategy is twofold one is i’m going to attack the dragon as Much as i can while she’s on the ground i have a full diamond sword what’s gonna happen so i’m gonna attack the dragon a bunch while she’s on the ground she’s gonna heal most of that up and realistically it’s not a good strategy but if she came down three times in a row Four times in a row i would have a shot at pulling this off and my second part of this is to utilize um i’m gonna try and take down caslo close together by making kind of a little tower upward okay so the only plan that i can think of that makes any sense Is i have this chest plate with blast protection and i can switch it for an electra kind of at will if i want to like if i’m being hit by the dragon i can put on the the chest plate if i’m being hit by an explosion Put on the chest plate then i can switch back to the elytra so my plan is to utilize that to the best of my ability because this is an explosion right so we just make this explosion as non-deadly as possible oh there we go no damage okay so you can in fact Take down one of these towels with no damage if you just block your okay so now that i have the information in mind that i can in fact destroy those towers i think the best thing to do is just to sit here and actually farm some end stone So that we can use it for the things because 20 in stone probably not enough to get this entire job done and so now all we have to do is the exact same thing we just did there switch out the blast protection give it a a good punch oh yeah that blast Protection is really saving the day here almost single-handedly so now now from here we can fly to other uh towers where you want to it’s a little bit of a buzzy strategy but i think it might just pay off because i’ve got this electro i can literally just Oh no okay there goes that idea as a precaution against enderman while i mine for end stone i’m gonna go below the ground here and pray that enderman does not do the ender dragon does not do his craziness that he always does okay almost every video i make where i have To kill the dragon i tried to give you all the reminder reminder too i would say that uh did you know you can kill the dragon without taking down one of the towers right now there are still three towers left those three right there as you can see And it seems like it should be impossible to kill the dragon while she can heal up but because they’re all next to each other even though it’s gonna be harder to kill the dragon than if she didn’t sometimes she’ll come down before fully healing and then but if you’re really worried about Enderman death and you’re worried about uh all this stuff happening and you just want to focus on the dragon so you can see it staying in the center with like half the towers taking down or 90 or all but one is actually just as valid As uh not so yeah if you ever want to not take down the towers it’s easy enough to still kill the dragon you are doing what i’m definitely also showing here though that you’re not seeing because we’re going to cut through it because you know i value your time more than my own Apparently is that it does take a little bit longer to actually get through the dragon and plus it takes more time it could be like 10 minutes but if it’s your first time it’s a really valuable tip that a lot of you know youtube videos will miss out And i hope that now you know if you didn’t already just have to not mess this up somehow but uh as you can see that’s the dragon there and as long as we make it into the force of the spine i think you’ll find this is me beaten minecraft with an elixir With enchanted diamond armor and an enchanted sword despite starting in the end islands also just as a mildly fun little fact even though we have these end portals we literally spawned in right here which by the way we can go through as many times as we want and then Repeatedly go through this even though we have uh this world which is very clearly you know we have to use a cheat to get it started i admitted that this isn’t what you would consider a full legit survival run because we have to use cheats to get to The end islands you’d have to mod hack or cheat and i i think therefore it shouldn’t count because just for curiosity i recalled this at the time where the execute bug still worked i you could basically use uh those certain commands in uh you know survival it meant that if you look Now at the world file you’ll not only be shocked to learn that it’s a 2.7 megabyte save but also as you’ll see right here it’s a survival world with no creative flag um which means obviously again i have all the achievements i wasn’t doing this for personal gain It’s just to show off how wacky the fact is that i literally spawn then portals in and nothing really happened as a downside to that but anyway yeah i hope you all enjoyed this little video if you did that’s great if you didn’t then i’m sorry i
