Hello, everyone! Today we’re going to talk about the end. No, not that one. – The end of Delphi. So let’s do it. So by now you probably figured out that our community had become a regular presence in early Constantiam. People knew our IGNs, they found our Builds, we left our banners all over the place and interacted regularly with people in general chat without being too much of a nuisance. Well.. most of us at any rate. I would like to point out, as a matter of credit, that the iconic Delphi banners Were designed by SirLeonidas and though you might wonder about hidden meanings or symbology – the way he tells it he made them because they look good on a shield. I would say that until recently 100% of the Delphi banners you would find on Constantiam were made by his Hand, though when Leo stepped away from the game I decided to carry that torch. Chances are still good however that if you do find one, he probably made it. By October 2016, Delphi had become the talk of the town so to speak And I want to expand on that just a little bit – because we had a big presence in general chat and showed ourselves at spawn we were forefront in the conscious of the player base. The same could be said for one of the other groups on the server who had been There even before us and this was Oremonger’s group at Royal Dynasty. There were other groups such as James Rustles’. People knew they existed but their presence was usually relegated to the player tab. They kept their affairs private. Our community on the other hand was generally open to discussing what we were doing Laganstoop would publish videos on YouTube that showed off our builds, the dragon fight, our dragon eggs and this drew attention both good and bad. There were other ways in which we were drawing attention and this is where I will tell you how Delphi changed not only Constantiam History but how the server itself operated – just like I promised in my early videos in the series. I showed you our skeleton farm in a previous video but I didn’t go into what made this skeleton farm special. So here it is. On account of our insane skeleton farm, PhantomCaptain had to disable mob collision math on the server because trying to compute how over 800 skeletons bumped against each other in a single hole was absolutely dumpstering the TPS. Before he managed to do this, Laganstoop went About trying to make the entire server want to hunt us down. As October was drawing to a close the base wasn’t growing at the fast rate that it had been in the beginning and we were still looking to expand our group. We had no idea of the imminent plot to Infiltrate us and Leo and I had been in close contact with two other players DepressionJuice, more commonly known now as HopeAnnihilator, and Ariaha. The accounts they brought to Delphi were GoddessDirt and CynthiaGravity. At this point you might be thinking Well that’s GG, they have your location you keep your valuables out in the open – their plan is a success. Well… not really. You see, Hope kept up the pretense pretty well for about five minutes while we gave him the tour. When Ariaha made it there there was a definite shift in tone. Now, I saw this as a red flag but I was no stranger to trolls. I based with one after all, so I still gave it the benefit of the doubt. As it turns out, I wasn’t the only one having second thoughts about what we had just done. The final member of their group arrived at Delphi shortly after – mtS_ Unlike the first two players he immediately started working on a house for himself and he really didn’t do anything suspicious at the time. SirLeonidas acted on his suspicion. He got Hope and Ari to admit to their plan to blow up Delphi but they told him that they had changed their minds since arriving. Leo gave them a dragon egg that wasn’t the famous one and moved an alt to Ariaha’s base in the millions. He hoped that this would be enough to deter the would-be griefers but Ari’s answer in his (Leo’s) Delphi history post on reddit indicated that they still fully intended on blowing up Delphi. So what triggered Delphi’s final moments? Well, on that fateful day hope decided to AFK for gunpowder at the base. I was Suspicious that this was the first thing on his mind rather than build a house, but I tried not to think too much about it. That wasn’t all he was doing. What I am going to reveal now has been kept a secret for nearly four years. Despite Hope’s claims that he “did nothing wrong”. He says this unaware that I had access to privileged information. While hope was AFKing for gunpowder he was also negotiating with another Constantiam group attempting to trade off our coordinates. What hope didn’t know was that Delphi was more well connected than he thought. We had an ally in that group. Famous 2b2t player – and (FitMC) “talk about a (…) legend (…)” #rekt son “Congratulations – you played yourself.” After the deed was done I sounded the alarm. The guys all logged in, we moved out all our stuff and Self-griefed, though because it was a big base there was still a lot left intact for the griefers. I made a video back then that I published on March of 2017. It’s unlisted now because it was just raw footage but I’ll leave a link to it in the description in case you’re Curious. We knew where we stood with Hope and Ariaha but mtS_ was kind of an unknown Leo wanted to kill him but I refused to believe that I had been so wrong about three people in one go. He told us everything about Operation Deathstroke That he knew and we were on our way to Scar HQ. We came across an old acquaintance on the highway. We were feeling generous so we built him a nice little house. We griefed scar along with mtS_ as payback for the whole thing. But.. Delphi’s fate was sealed. Well guys, I hope you enjoyed this video. In the next one we will look at the aftermath of Delphi’s destruction and explore yet another famous Constantiam base – Nexus. If you’d like to see more be sure to like and subscribe and, more importantly, share the video with Anyone you think might be interested. My last two videos got copyright claimed and they just didn’t have the same reach. Thanks for watching and I’ll catch you next time. Video Information
