In today’s tutorial video i’ll be showing you how to create the ultimate fishing dock this build has a lot of neat features and details so let’s just go ahead and get straight into the tour all right so firstly arriving at our boat docking area as you can see we have A lot of room here to easily park our boat and leave with it later whenever we want to now before we head up to the main dock area let’s just take a look under here and we have a nice couple of aesthetic little details we’ve got a Spare boat some barrels chests and some random aesthetics and stuff like that under here as well and up here we also have a very nice looking little crane design i mean the purpose of this would be like you’d park your boat under with whatever materials and theoretically Pick up stuff and move it somewhere i don’t really know don’t question it all right and so turning around now let’s head down to the right as you can see we have a couple of little random scattered storage blocks here we’ve got some barrels and chests obviously in here you Can go ahead and store your fishing rods and fish and stuff like that or whatever you want and then down here is our main fishing platform so whenever you just want to go ahead and chill and relax you can go ahead and just cast your rod out And catch some fish nice and peacefully alright so turning around let’s head down to the actual main portion of the dock itself which is this house here so heading up these stairs once again we have some more scattered storage blocks and also some nice little details we’ve Got like a nice lantern kind of thing hanging up here and let’s actually head out here to the main entrance and as you can see this is the house view from this side and also this side as well now let’s head back around here so heading Around to this front area we have like this little counter where i guess like people would arrive and trade and purchase stuff and stuff like that i guess now we can head inside through the door right here and as you can see we have kind of crammed in a bunch of stuff This build is mainly just filled with aesthetic things it’s not really meant to be that efficient i mean the whole purpose of building a fishing dock is just for the aesthetics pretty much unless if you really want to catch fish for some reason but yeah so we’ve just got random decorations everywhere we’ve Got like a nice little sink and some smokers for when you want to cook up your fish a bunch of storage and crafting blocks and stuff like that now let’s head up the ladder to the second floor and as you can see up here we have A nice little bed and some more personal storage blocks up here another smoker and just some random stuff you can of course replace this bed with more storage or whatever the hell you want if you don’t really plan on sleeping in here now let’s head out to this door and Head out to the main little balcony area out here we have some more decorations of course and some extra storage and now here we can have a nice view of the entire area of the dock and also the water around you can also replace some of this stuff with like a table and Chairs and just relax up here if you want and yeah you can also jump up here and attack some mobs if you need to and i mean you could park or all the way up to the top roof from there and enjoy the view i guess and yeah so that pretty Much covers it for the tour of this build it is of course pretty small and also if you didn’t like the look of this dock i have built plenty of other ones so feel free to check the description or the top right and i’ll link to all of The other docs that i have created tutorials for on this channel but if you do like the look of this one let’s go ahead and start the tutorial off right now all right so starting off of course find a location similar to this one preferably with a slight incline right At the water’s edge and now with the location fan let’s go ahead and place in all of the pillars With the base of all of the pillars placed in let’s go ahead and raise them all up to the heights shown on the screen Next up go ahead and connect each pillar up with some spruce slabs just one half block up above the floor And now with all of the pillars connected up go ahead and fill in the entire main platform Next we’re going to go ahead and place in a bunch of oak fences and fence gates so be sure to follow along this part closely as they are placed in some pretty specific locations and ways With all the fences added in let’s go ahead and add in the entrance and we’re going to do that by adding in some spruce slabs and also some spruce trap doors and then we’re gonna go around the sides and replace some of these spruce slabs here with some spruce trap doors Next up let’s go ahead and add in all of the walls for the actual building itself and these walls are going to be made out of stripped oak logs and also oak planks we’ll also be adding in some windows in the center of most of these walls by Using some oak stairs and also some oak fences So So So So for this wall here we’ll be adding in our front door so instead of adding in your fences be sure to just instead add in a spruce door And then the wall to the left of this door is kind of like the trading or like shop front area so be sure to build it in this specific way instead of like the rest of the walls next up it’s time to head all the way up To the top here we’re going to fill in this entire second floor ceiling here with some oak slabs and then we’re also going to be adding in a door and another wall up here as well So So Now with all of the walls done it’s time to add in the rooves starting off with the trims and these are entirely made up out of spruce slabs and also a couple of spruce stair blocks as well so we’re first going to create the trim on the Very top roof on the front and then we’re going to create the trim on the back side and then just connect them up with some slabs Now onto the lower roof we’re pretty much just going to repeat the exact same thing we just did except we only need to create the front trim as the back will just connect up into the existing wall And with those roofs done now let’s go ahead and add in all of the details for the balcony area Now jumping down from the balcony we’re just gonna go ahead and add in just a bunch of random little details everywhere like some lights some stone slabs on top of all of the pillars and just a bunch of random stuff like that [Laughter] So And with all of those extra little details added in let’s go ahead and now add in the rest of the dock area so we’re going to create a similar step design that we did to the actual entrance of the dock itself and then we’re going to be creating a big long Dock out of some spruce slabs and also spruce trap doors and this will be 10 blocks long starting in front of the trapdoors they’re used for the step now i’m sure it will be kind of confusing to get the length right so feel free to keep watching as we’ll add in some Pillars which are all spaced apart by three blocks which should make everything a bit easier to line up After adding in all of your pillars let’s go ahead and add in a similar design that we added into the actual main portion of the dock which is this slab and then the spruce trap doors on either side of it now heading onto the other side that is Facing towards the little crane that we created we’re actually in the center we’ll be adding in some slabs here instead of some trapdoors and then the usual slab now this camera angle is kind of hard to get it is a bit weird but this is underneath the little step that we Created onto the dock and under here we’ll just be adding in a couple of trapdoors in the water and then placing in some random little details now this is a pretty small little detail as it won’t be seen very often so feel free to leave it out entirely if you want With that area done let’s go ahead and add in some more various details just underneath the main dock part here Next up heading up to the little dock that we just created we’re going to go ahead and place in our oak fences and oak fence gates with some lanterns on top of the fence parts as well and we’ll also be adding in some stone slabs on Top of all of those spruce log pillars Next up it’s time to add our little boat dock area so we’re going to create a similar step design that we did for the previous step that we made down onto the actual main dock area here and then just go ahead and create a u-shape out of These trapdoors and on the ends we’re going to be adding in some oak fences with some lanterns on top Now heading to the very end of the dock we’re going to be creating a little fishing platform area so we’re going to create another step design like this and then a smaller u-shape out of some more spruce trap doors And with that done we’re going to go ahead and place in just a variety of barrels chests and some extinguished campfires just around the place to make it look a little bit more lively and interesting Now in this section here underneath the crane we’re also going to be placing in just a spare kind of oak boat for storage i guess so just go ahead and place that in and then steer it into place and then finally for the exterior place on a lantern that i forgot to add On on top of the crane all right and with that all of the exterior is now completed and it’s time to head on to the interior and start off with the bottom floor so firstly let’s head into this corner right here just adjacent to the doorway and firstly We’re going to place a barrel and then above that a chest beside this barrel let’s go ahead and chuck on an anvil with a lantern above and then finally in this corner here just a campfire and extinguish it with a shovel next up let’s turn to the left and on this wall Here at the very top let’s go ahead and chuck in three smokers and then directly below that in the center a cauldron with some water inside and on each side of the cauldron here let’s chuck on a barrel and then on the front face here of the cauldron let’s chuck a spruce Trap door on and then we’re going to cover each exposed face here of the barrel with some spruce signs now let’s finally add a tripwire hook above the cauldron here and then beside that let’s go ahead and place a flower pot now turning to the left once again we’re Going to head over into this corner over here and we’re first going to start off by placing a barrel and then above that a chest and then beside and in front of this barrel another chest now beside this chest here on this back wall let’s go ahead and place a smithing table a Crafting table and then finally a grindstone on the end and then above this we’re going to place three barrels in a row just like this kind of like how we did with the smokers and then below the central middle barrel here let’s place a spruce slab and then beside the Spruce slab on each side a spruce trap door and now to finish up this final floor let’s go ahead and remove this slab here in the corner and then place a couple of ladders leading up to the top floor now once we’re up on the top floor Let’s go ahead and remove these six blocks like this and then also this one at the top in the center and then you should have an area looking kind of like this next up we’re gonna go ahead and fill in all of these gaps by placing some additional oak slabs in just to Cover all the gaps up and make it look a little bit better now in the very back right corner over here let’s chuck in a bed beside that a chest and then beside the chest a barrel on top of this barrel let’s go ahead and place another chest And then beside this barrel another barrel with a lantern on top now beside this barrel we’re going to place another chest then a smoker and then finally a campfire next to that smoker now you really don’t need to follow this as strictly as i’ve placed it in the Tutorial feel free to place everything however you want the whole point of it is to look kind of messy and that gives it its really aesthetic kind of appeal so feel free to change it up however you want but yeah with that we’re pretty much done we’ve already created Everything outside on the balcony so yeah now one additional bonus little thing that you could do is go ahead and place in some spruce slabs just underneath all of these sections here where the house is and it kind of makes it feel like it’s a little bit more Stable instead of it just being like kind of suspended in the air kind of like how the rest of the dock is here it’s actually being held up by some blocks like that feel free to do that if you want to or not it’s entirely up to You it’s a very subtle detail so it doesn’t really matter that much in the end but yeah with that the tutorial is now completely finished and if you enjoyed this video feel free to give the video a like i would really appreciate it and also subscribe if you want to see Future tutorials just like this one cheers for watching everyone and i’ll see you in the next video Video Information
