Hey how you doing everybody it’s me Waddles and 1.20 oh it’s so soon whether you’re planning on keeping your trusty world or starting fresh here are some things you should probably do before Minecraft’s the biggest update the solo friends for today’s adventure and truly there’s only one spot that we could Begin think back for a second all the way back to what 1.20 was first reviewed what was the first thing shown to be a 1.20 so look you’d have to be living under a rock and a very sad rock at that to not know about oh my gosh it’s beautiful It’s so beautiful it’s gorgeous romantic perfect beautiful bamboo the bamboo one so look if you’ve done the smart thing and you’ve hung around this Channel with me for the past couple months oh my gosh you will know all about bamboo wood and how gorgeously beautiful this stuff is The fans don’t get me started the raft always wonderful and the door wow that door also again don’t get me started hassle bamboo wood clearly I’m obsessed just a little bit and clearly it’s coming to the game at 1.20 bamboo with them it’s a little bit different it’s The first wood that isn’t well like it’s like the first one that isn’t a wood it’s a plant hey or whatever you get the point this is the first wood that doesn’t come from a log block if you’re keeping your current world into the next Update one of the best things you can do for yourself right now is find a bamboo jungle and completely ruin that thing baby and cut it all down environmental instrument environmentalist whatever you could also just build a bamboo Farm in your world that will probably work too the bigger The better here great news for you I’ve got another one all about bamboo farms like the one behind me and unlike the one behind me but bad news for you this video just started so you’re gonna have to wait until the end of this one to Check out that one but Farm bamboo next up take a look at these features so this isn’t everything in the update but it is a lot of it from looking at all of these features do you notice one thing that is in common with well with almost Everything here even a 1.20 feature like armor trim that doesn’t involve wood at all actually involves wood imagine this scenario this update day you go to update your world you updated you jump into 1.20 and next up you want to build a build except a problem you’ve been Doing nothing for months in your world you’ve just been standing there when it comes to that giant wooden castle that you would like to build wow because you haven’t prepared your world properly and you didn’t get any wood yeah you gotta go chop down the forest first imagine this scenario it’s update Day and again you update your world when it comes to Wood you’re practically loaded you got so much of it in hand all you need to do is walk over to a crafting table and voila just like that you craft the beautiful chisel bookshelf block not only can you store your books In style but like look at this thing all the sides of it it’s gorgeous if you don’t have a lot of extra wood this would be a really really expensive floor but if you have a lot of extra wood you build a whole wall out of this thing It’s beautiful look just like every update that came before this one what is going to be important in this update if you’re in your world that you don’t know what to do right now find a forest somewhere and chop down a bunch of trees or even better if you’re a little bit Knowledgeable when it comes to building Farms maybe set up one of those fancy automatic or semi-automatic tree farms in your world using explosives if you’re waiting to start a world until 1.20 though this is actually kind of the perfect opportunity if you’ve never built a semi-automatic Tree Farm in your Life before jump into a creative world and practice building one of these things these things typically involve explosives a little bit of Red Zone and I mean because of the nature of these Farms they’re pretty unlike any other farm in Minecraft so if you’ve never built one before well look we’ll just Say practicing is probably a really really good idea they’re kind of dangerous look I hate to involve you in my environmental destruction but I kind of just blew up a lot of the environment for the last shot so please smash like right now so the EPA ignores my crimes One of the coolest but also rarest things in the 1.20 update has got to be the camel the camel is a brand new way to travel and style around your world except small problem update drops you jump on the camel and you can’t do anything you can’t control it if you Want to control the camel and actually go places with this thing there’s something else you need to be honest to make matters even worse when it comes to this thing it will only spawn in once with a desert village like when you generated the first time there’s one Camel and checked on that’s it if the camel happens some you know kind of have a mind of its own and wander off and to say a cactus repeatedly look not to get too graphic or anything but if that happens camel bye-bye the heck even without Cactus camel have a mind of Their owner they could eventually just wander off into the desert they get completely lost forever do yourself a favor and take action now to prevent any camera related headaches find a saddle when it comes to locating a saddle in your world you’ve got options on options on options just about every single Structure that generates in your world can potentially hold a saddle even a village if you’re lucky get a settle somehow some way right now or who wants 1.20 drops plan on getting a saddle first thing next up look listen if you’re watching this video just to ignore it like you’re not gonna do Anything that I talk about in this video then please do this next one if you tapped on this video just to watch it maybe do me a favor or something I I don’t know I appreciate you thank you but seriously consider doing this in your world because in 1.20 oh then 1.20 Is painful thanks to the help of this little item right here I don’t know if I like it or not but 1.20 is uh it’s making netherride way way harder to get there’s a lot of new steps so look this new netherride process it begins just Like the old one grind your way up to the nether go into The Nether blow up the bed really down low and hopefully you find a ton of ancient debris couple steps later and hopefully you’re drawing another ride ingots because you’re gonna need them in the olden days that would Have cut it we would have threw this inside of the smithing table put the anger there and boom you’re done but now you need to find a smithing template now unfortunately inside of 1.19 there is nothing you can do to find a smithing template but what you could do is skip It all together well you have the chance please I beg you please just make the netherride tools to find the smithing template in 1.20 you need you go to the Bastion you need to get lucky and hopefully you find it there but then possibly even worse so look what happens When you use this thing you use it up it’s a single use item it’s gone forever in 1.20 this stuff is getting so much harder to make and I don’t know if I like it on the bright side though diamonds in 1.20 diamonds are finally getting way Way more useful again instead of just making say like a diamond armor with diamonds they actually get a brand new crafting recipe but oh it is expensive it’s so expensive one of the coolest best and most favorite is the parts of 1.20 is armor trim the stuff is gorgeous Right now there’s nothing you can really do to actually go find this stuff but you can prepare for it and so with armor trim it’s pretty straightforward we find a trim we find a piece of armor any of them and then we put a resource on however once we actually trim the armor That’s a single-use item just like that netherride upgrade template that means you went through all of the work to find this thing and some of them are pretty rare by the way you use it and then it’s gone to prevent anything like that from happening and to make your life making Netherride in 1.20 way easier find a bunch of diamonds right now like go mine built into 1.20 is an amazing way to duplicate armor trims so you have more but it’s expensive now diamond mining is one of those things where there’s kind of a lot to it there are so many ways You could do it for more on diamond mining check out this guy next one of my personal favorite Ways to Mine for diamonds is instead of those really deep and big capes go down into that thing drink a night vision potion and just look around there are so many ways you Could go about getting diamonds but look no matter what don’t do what I’m doing right now get fortune 3 on your pickaxe first and speaking of enchantments for the ocean a digital in the ocean is getting so many updates inside of this update in fact honestly the ocean is getting so Many updates that it’s basically ocean update 2.0 whether you’re planning on searching shipwrecks for armor trip battling an ocean Monument for trim or maybe doing a little bit of archeology inside of the ocean ruins there’s one common factor that could help you for the first time since the update aquatic Water enchantments are one of the most important things in this update when it comes to your helmet you need to right now get aqua affinity on that helmet and get respiration 3 on that helmet as well when it comes to the boots it’s really just depth strike with respiration and Aqua affinity on your helmet you’ll be able to move around underwater for much longer and mine a whole lot quicker come out that water helmet with a little bit of depth Strider and you’ll be moving quicker than ever too unfortunately for us the brush is pretty slow and even More unfortunately for us doesn’t look like the devs care about making a way to make this thing actually faster if you’re gonna do any of this ocean dig side stuff you’re gonna basically just need a water helmet this next one kicks off with our final and chairman of the day the soak touch Get it and put it on a hope one of the biggest parts of the 1.19 I updated was the deep dark biome and alongside that the ancient city this is by far the most dangerous spot in the entire game you’re gonna need to be really careful for this One but now it’s off to the deep dark biome or maybe even an ancient city for you we need one of the things that is here and thanks to a new fancy skull sensor the 1.20 update incorporates the deep dark theme into the uptick if you Want to check out the fancy sensor then you need to get the old classic sensor or even better grab a catalyst or two if you haven’t done the Deep dive over to the deep dark biome quite yet now is the perfect time in my opinion the better Option of the two if you could like only get one or something for some reason would be the skull Catalyst if you didn’t know with just one skull Catalyst take some mobs out next to this thing and you’ll actually be able to generate every other skulls block that you could Ever dream of now both the new skulk sensor and the classic one are getting updates in this update and for starters this one well it exists for follow uppers the whole vibration system has been in the game for One update now it’s already being completely redone and we Have the addition of vibration resonance a super cool new mechanic to send vibrations farther than ever before if you’ve ever wanted to mess with vibrations and things like that but never have well this update is definitely going to be the time to do that to make it all possible get your Hands on a couple sculptlings a little bit early but my friend when it comes to Minecraft’s underground do not stop there instead find a geode and set up a farm whether you’re into the Aesthetics the red zone or even just the building this one is really big Just like with that nether i1 this is one of those ones that I highly recommend doing because it takes a little bit of time if you’ve never built an amethyst yield Farm before and you want to go like to the max on it it’s kind of a lot of work you’re gonna first Need to find a gym then you need to tear it out all the way to make it even more time consuming while you’re tearing out the geode you got to be really really careful you got to dig slow because if you break one of these butting blocks They’re gone done forever you see for whatever reason I’d be like the amethyst it’s getting kind of overlooked when it comes to things changing in 1.20 for starters we got that brand new skull extensor we were just talking about if you want to craft one of these things Like just one you need three amethyst and trust me trust me if you’re working with the Vibes it’s not if you craft one of these things it’s when remember that this calibrate is called sensor it’s literally twice as good as the old one armor trimming I mean look it’s a No-brainer the Amethyst combined it with like gold or really any other type of armor in the game and wow it was stunning it just looks so gorgeous and beautiful this is great and then I suppose our grand finale for this one is that plain old damage black like it’s Been for a couple updates now if you want to build with this thing or maybe even walk musically well look if you want to do any of that stuff it’s expensive to allow yourself to thrive and build with all the purpley wonderful blocks that your dreams desire build an amethyst farm right now Did you know that dyes are kind of a big part of the 1.20 update this next one goes on to bedrock gang but Java gang can join in as well Banners are amazing you can design anything your heart desires to make it even better but only on Java for the longest time Banner Shields were even more amazing to take that ARP put it on a shield you show it off for the very first time ever in 1.20 Banner Shields are actually a thing on Minecraft bedroom meaning you could actually craft these things if you’ve never done much with them before then You might not know how complex banners really are it’s a great idea to do a little bit of touching up on your banner creation skills or maybe even find a banner design that you really really like and get it ready for the 1.20 up good luck every single one of the Patterns you’re gonna need these cool items called Banner patterns some of which are actually pretty tricky to get it’s a great idea to get your hands on them before the update and then of course actually use all that stuff dies you’re gonna need guys to actually make Banners so maybe not a bad idea to set up some kind of massive dive Farm as well doing all of that right now will help get you ready to build the most beautiful banner Shield of all time in 1.20 and so we’ve made it the very vital Thing on my list that you should do before 1.20 before I get to my final one though drop one more thing that everybody should do before this update down below so 1.20 maybe I haven’t realized it yet 1.20 is an update that updates like basically everything in the game whether You’re inside of the nether the end of the Overworld there are new updates and things to be found if you’re planning on keeping your world into 1.20 right now you either need to stop exploring or you need to plan on deleting chunks once the update drops armor trims will only Basically be found inside of structure loot tables archeology will only take place at newly generated structures heck even netherite trim it will only be found at Bastion sometimes that are new with the help of tools like MCA selector you can dive into the files of your world and actually erase certain chunks Making it like you’ve never been to them before by erasing the chunks that you already went to in 1.19 1.18 or even earlier and then going back to them once the update hits you’ll generate these chunks as if they’ve never been seen before meaning the structure Loops it’ll Be back again maybe that new bio it’ll be right there that all means that things like structure loot it’ll be back again in archeology while it can actually generate right do yourself a favor and before 1.20 drops erase chunks or even better just start a new world if You’ve been wanting to start fresh well 1.20 it just might be the best update ever to do that so those are
