dont lock omen – Vanilla Refresh – Minecraft Datapack Showcase!

Hey everyone how you doing I found this really cool data pack called vanilla refresh and what this data pack does is it just adds quality of like features in Minecraft and this makes the game way more interesting I’m gonna showcase it because I haven’t found a good showcase

Tutorial so I have a demonstration thing behind me Tech created so yeah let’s start um first up we have player setting which is basically um you go on a Blog look down at the bottom like fully down and then you press shift you’ll see the saddle thing for me

And you can right click it and then you can sit on it so I’ll do that here as well and right click and again sit the next feature on this data pack is Mob Health mob Health basically ads helps for all the different mobs we have Josiah Jeff and Matthew

Um and yeah you can see the health indicators on the on the mobs um the next thing we have is variable banners where we take a banner and if I sneak repeatedly so if I keep sneaking I can equip the banner on my head to remove it simply go to your

Inventory and then pull it out you can do that do this with all sorts of banners the next feature on our list is homing xpobs and what this does is I have some dispensers set up over there which will release some XP bottles and what this does is if you kill something anywhere

With a bow and arrow the XP will come towards you as you can see and the XP just comes towards us which looks really cool by the way sir alright that’s this feature the next feature we have is better better loyalty tridents what happens is that when you throw a

Trident in the void it’s lost forever with this data pack it just it just bounces back and comes right back at you the next feature we have is better armor stands and VR Mustang seems to have disappeared that I might have run kill command and what this does is basically gives

Hands to the armor armistan and using levers you can change the poses of the armor stand so yeah it’s it is a big big buggy the armor stand tends to push back on the first uh style oppose and yeah you can change anything you want wait one sec yep

You can change all the poses and these are the Bedrock poses yeah this tends to happen it just moves back a bit yeah that’s the battery understands next is player statistics so using this command slash trigger stats um you can see the stats on the of the um of your wall basically yeah

And that’s really cool um looping jukebox plus animation so what this does is it Loops the Jukebox you can see the animation of the disk being put in but yeah um now I’m not gonna sit here and showcase people using this but it just keeps looping

Um the next feature we have is wet ladders where if I take the ladders here and I place it on the Block below me um I can basically get on the ladder That was supposed to happen give me a second yeah I’ll get on the ladder press shift if I balance this

Yeah I can press shift why is this not working yeah I can keep pressing shift and um I can keep placing a ladder which is really cool it looks great and it’s quite functional all right the next feature we have is custom block animations which is one of

My favorite features of this mod sorry the data pack it’s available in both data pack and mod what this does is it adds a custom animation um yeah so as you can see there’s this custom uh there’s this particle thing around the enchantment table and let me just get a tool real quick

Um so if I do this that’s really cool it looks nice all right the next feature is the brewing stand which as you can see has a bit of a Char pulley effect but if I start enchanting I mean if I send Brewing my man I said bring the party the particle

Count increases let’s just wait for it to brew completely that’s our potion screwed right with some potions but yeah you can see the little thingy on that the next one is the beacon effect which is one of the coolest ones I mean look at that wow that is sick

Let me try to uh turn on the beacon [Laughter] all right that does nothing but yeah the that is such a cool animation though um next up we have custom animations for Dragon X which is this that’s really cool starts so much to the dragon egg and the

With a skull animation which gives off this particle effect yeah um right clicking it has an effect all right right clicking it removes the effect so don’t do not um there is custom that sounds uh which is only on multiplayer because I tried it in single player and it didn’t seem

To work out but if you die it’ll play a sound globally to all the players which I’m not gonna try because I don’t want to try it now let me just break that real quick with the audiences annoying um totem floated void yeah this one’s a

Really cool feature if I have a two of them of an undying in my hand if I fall down the void it’ll give me a free float mode and what this does is it just allows me to like float back up and yeah for 50 seconds and if I shift

To hover down and I touch Lan it’ll remove the levitation effect from me that this feature is really nice and the next feature is wither head trophy totally did not have an accident here but yeah upon killing the weather you’ll receive its head as a trophy

On our next feature we have day counter so on each and every day um you’ll see a counter that’s a d time to yeah you can see the counter down there day 2500 yep and yeah you can see in the chat the tip command every 10 minutes it’s gonna

Give you a random tip now the next feature is new biome Discovery I’m not sure yeah mushroom Fields so every time you discover a new biome you’ll see this big text pop up on screen which is pretty cool all right next setting is slash trigger game rule identified so yeah

Yeah so you can use this to change any of the Minecraft game rules or any of the vanilla fresh game rules now I’m gonna showcase the vanilla tweak game rules after a bit there’s some features in this mod which a which are um which are disabled by default yep

And now we have low Health heartbeat every time I take damage I’m gonna like if I go low on health I’m gonna I’m gonna get this hard D thing I um and it should be audible yes all right now we have better lodestone so what this does is when you drop a

Piece of paper with any text on it will turn it’ll label the loadstone in Halls and pump now the cool thing is if I were to take cyan die and right click on the uh oh that’s range I traded a while before and it worked no way it’s not working anymore you can

Basically dye the thing and then if you have an Ender pole you can drop an Ender pole on top of the slow Stone which will consume it and link it to you now you can go 96 blocks away and if you aim at the lodestone and in the pole you can walk

Towards it this works from anywhere 96 blocks in a 96 blocks radius so yeah that’s the it’s the better low stones uh tab display will allow players to show stats on tablets so the zero input number name you can configure it to show any kind of uh statistic like probably they survived

Um items picked up or stuff like that next up crop XP so if I break if I break any kind of crop I’m gonna get some XP and no not any kind of crop my bad um if I break pumpkins wheat or another word I’m gonna get XP in return

I know why it does not work with carrots and potatoes um and yeah another word gives considerably less experience than beat pumpkin and wheat pumpkin yeah all right that’s that let’s go on to our next one which is spots printing now path blocks will boost me boost mean speed

This skills then incentive for players to use Parts more often which is really cool a good feature in my opinion next feature is invisible item frames and armor stands so using splash potions of invisibility the weekend Chuck them on if that wasn’t supposed to happen we can Chuck them on item frames

And they will turn the item frames invisible we can even do the same with Amazons and they’ll turn the armor stands invisible now to remove these invisible effects just Chuck them with water bottles uh yeah and you can uninvest them the next feature on our list is recovery

Compass recovery Compass if held in your hands will show you the last death coordinates minus 78 minus 68 13. and he they buy a mu died in the readable clock allows you to see the day and time of day then there is surprise case now if I

Take a firework rocket and if I chop it on a cake and continue the cake you can see the cake blows up into a firework effect and drops a singular piece of wheat and sugar good for pranking people on smps all right yeah on multiplayer people make leave and join so it sounds

To each other so if I if I quit on multiplayer um it’ll send a leave song to others right our next feature is silencing mobs using Echo shots so this cow it’s loud and annoying right through an echo shot on it this mob is now silent it will not make a single noise

Now uh to recover the echo shot there’s two options you can either kill the cow or you can use a water bucket and get the echo Shard out that way yep and our next feature which is the last feature on our list and he’s not here but

Um baby zombies are a lot more deadly now but they are quite nerfed so let me show you let me just heal myself real quick all right so if I’m to spawn a zombie a baby zombie If I’m too so the zombie is twice as fast but it has it can jump and but it has half the health so it makes it a tough opponent but at the same time like worse so I think it’s perfectly balanced with this more with this data pack sorry

So yeah this is the list of some of the features added there’s also a bit more multiplayer features which I couldn’t get it to work on On single player but there are some more features which I’ll show you uh they’re the Creator features right yeah so I can um there’s some creative commands so I can give myself ocean blocks which are ocean related blocks I can give myself deep slate related blocks I can give myself disks graduation and

Blocks most blocks what’s that oh probably um Stone the internet blocks stone bricks are markets um diamond tools and full length I mean slightly Enchanted not the right tools and I can give myself into the blocks another thing is um slash tag and S ad refresh underscore debug which will

Okay never mind that’s our wrong command um all right so I can get a one which will teleport me forward 50 blocks depending on where I point and click then there is Count entity show entities I think show entity one is basically it’s basically gonna reveal all the entities close by

Which is useful if you’re working on farms and stuff all right um the next one is open menu open once all right that is really convenient day and night so I can cycle between day and night vegetation removal all right what I can do using this is

Remove all the leaves and goras and stuff because it’s really annoying and default creative to remove it the next thing is um the next thing is tree removal which removes trees mobs um mob remover brush or some zombie brush so a summon zombie brush would basically summon zombies okay [Applause] all right um

Mask 75 brush structure white reveal brush structure High brush I don’t know what this is um what’s the purpose of this thing zombie I think it’s gonna freeze mobs properly hey hey hey it does freeze them oh no man it does not freeze them [Applause]

Um I don’t know what this one is to be honest um let’s get rid of the of in our inventory and structure white reveal and stuff then there’s spectate which basically is a spectator mode thing now we have spec data mode tools which will you can get night vision you can enable

Or disable it you can go to the world spawn you can appear um which is I think it removes you from spectator right you can teleport to a random player which works on multiplayer so yeah um now I’m gonna show you the disable features so let me get some locks on me and

Match trigger game rules now we go to vanilla refresh um I think I’ll have to change it using the config but there are I’m gonna explain the features there are so links which is like a gravestone mod it will give you back 80 percent of your experience and all your items

They can’t burn in lava and if it will um if it’s in the void it’ll make an attempt to teleport to the highest possible block if it if not it’ll teleport to y96 another disabled feature is that and the dragon drops elytra us um then there are renewable Dragon X

Which will make the drag and drop uh dragon egg on each scale then there are dead stats um which will if you die it’ll um we’ll put your dead stats in the chat even in multiplayer there’s first join chat messages so whoever joins for the first time on a server they’ll get a

Join message then there’s Dynamic OptiFine which makes storage unit light um on the offhand and on server side by the way so yeah then there’s exploding blood furnaces so if you have a blast furnace lying around um that stuff is going to explode which I mean why would you want that but

It’s still there it’ll explode and those are the features that are disabled by default um let me know if I missed anything and a like would be appreciated see ya
