EASY & EFFICIENT Slime Farm Tutorial! Minecraft 1.18 (3000+ Slime Balls P/H)

Hey guys welcome back to another video today i’ll be showing this easy slime farm tutorial that produces 3 000 slime balls per hour this farm is a java edition slime farm so building this in bedrock will not work before we start constructing this farm i highly suggest building this farm

In the middle of an ocean as there will be less caves to spawn proof but if you choose not to that’s also okay just expect some lower rates if you don’t light up your caves now i’m going to show you how to find a slime chunk there are multiple techniques you can

Use to find a slime chunk the first being the website chunk base simply type into google slime chunk finder and click the top website then you’ll want to enter your seed you can do this by doing seed in your single player world or asking a moderator or an admin of your

Server for the seed if it’s within their rules of course once you have your seed you want to paste it into the area where it says seed then choose your chunk that you want to build in hover your mouse over the highlighted chunk and you will see

The chunks id then you’ll want to locate the green highlighted chunk of your choice in your world by using the f3 menu right here to enable chunk borders press f3 and g at the same time the link to the trunk based website will also be in the description

The second way to find a slime chunk is to download the mini hud and the melip mods the mod will easily help you find slime chunks in your world by simply just flying around if you are on multiplayer and the server isn’t yours i suggest asking a moderator

If the mod is allowed first the link and the guide for these mods will also be in the description if all those techniques value or illegal on the server you are playing on you’ll have to manually dig out the chunks and fence the chunks off and afk and come back regularly until

You get slime spawning one of those fenced areas now that we know how to find a slime chunk let’s build this farm these are the resources you are going to need first thing you want to do is come to the corner of your trunk border and go down to y level 20. Now we want to dig a border around our 16 by 16 area which is a chunk size to do this you can use your chunk border just like this or you can use the top left hand of your screen and follow the slime chunk where it says yes Now that we have dug a border around our slime chunk put an oak blank block in each corner to signify the corner of our slime chunk now you want to hollow out this area right here now that we have hollowed out this area we want to dig out a total of 18 blocks

High leaving a 16 by 16 by 18 high area hollowed out now that we have dug out our 18 high area let’s start working on our platforms to do this we want to come up two and a half blocks just like this build out a total of three blocks and

Then create a perimeter around the trunk border just like this now that we’ve done that we want to light up our platform just so no mobs can spawn except for slimes now that we’ve done our first layer we want to do a further one two three and four layers

Leaving three blocks high at the top if you have dug out the correct amount this should work just fine now let’s go ahead and complete the four layers Now that all our layers are completed we want to come up to the top layer build out five blocks towards the middle just like this then above the fifth block destroy two blocks high and place a fence now let’s spawn an iron golem to do this

Build up two blocks of iron blocks just like this then build one to the left and the right then place a carved pumpkin on top now grab your lead and connect it to the fence just like this now you can remove these stone blocks just like this

As you can see the iron golem will hang attracting the slimes to drop down into the middle now we want to come down to the bottom and place five diagonal blocks just like this do that for all four corners Now that you’ve done that come a diagonal block more and dig a block just like this then destroy that all the way around as this is the center of our room this will be where the slimes drop down and die you can now remove these blocks right here

Now place a two by two just like this from that point there we want to build up three blocks then to the right of it place a block just like this then place a slab and another slab build another block here and then a slab just like that and then remove this

Block right here now place a slab here a slab there and a slab there now place a temporary block here and a temporary block there place two iron bars just like this and then place a temporary block over here just like this then place two more iron bars

And place another temporary block and then two more iron bars and another temporary block and then connect them up just like this then you can remove your temporary blocks just like this now build up two blocks just like this and spawn an iron golem just like this

With the calf pumpkin and the iron blocks now you can remove these two blocks here and the golem will drop down this will enable all the slimes on each platform to see an iron golem now let’s dig down a total of six blocks so that’s one two three four five and six

Then we can dig out this area now we want to destroy two blocks in just like this now place a chest here destroy these two blocks and place another chest just like this and then place those blocks back now place hoppers facing into these chests then to the left and the right

Place hoppers leading into those other hoppers just like this then simply connect the hoppers straight back all the way until you hit the wall behind you if you would like a little viewing area simply place four glass just like this then on top of these hoppers we just

Want to place campfires just like this so it kills the slimes when they drop down now you can easily build your way out just like this your slime farm is almost complete but we wanted to get a further three block perimeter around the platforms so that they are free from the walls

Do this all the way down Now build up seven blocks high from this point here now on top of the iron bars build up two blocks just like this then place iron bar here an iron bar here an iron bar there and iron bar there this will stop slimes from falling on

Top of the iron golem and causing damage to the golem you can now remove your temporary blocks now come down to your chest area grab your ladders and dig up all the way back up to the surface now that we’re on the surface come out two blocks from the slime chunk

And build up to y level 134 now that you’re at the correct y level place a 3×3 with glass just like this then place two blocks high and glass on top of that and create a roof on top of your afk area this is just to stop phantoms from

Killing you while you’re afk afking this farm i highly suggest lining up every cave in the area to increase rates for your slimes now that our caves are lit up and we’re in our afk spot let’s afk this farm for one hour and see what we get

So after one hour’s worth of afk we got a total of 3144 balls this farm here is really efficient for the amount of resources you need to build it i really hope you choose to use this design as it won’t let you down your slime farm is now complete and
