Empires 2 : I Built my Starter CAVE BASE ENTRANCE in Minecraft 1.19 Survival Let’s Play (#2)

Hey folks whip here and welcome to empire’s smp the adventure has already begun for the cave empire with humble beginnings here at my starter base today however is about expansion creating the first goblin business to attract some new customers and building a grand entrance to the goblin empire but first

Have a cave full of the stuff i just need to go pick it up with all the creepers around i’ve got torches i’ve got some food and we’re ready to go gotta get to level 30 get an enchant and then we keep moving no i’m just mining leave me alone quick

Detour as we maybe roll for fortune 3 and breaking three oh do we do it oh yes oh that’s so good oh we’re combining these right away 26 levels no we’re not combining these right away what i can do instead is i’ve got one diamond in here and we gonna

Maybe i just use a creeper thank you that works i just want my iron i’m done fighting mobs i just want the iron i’m really not having a good time with all the deep dark stuff so i think we’re gonna start diving into some caves off the side oh

Cat music disc wait that’s cool infinity and a name tag oh this is all so good in a saddle i’m taking coordinates for this guy later there’s a zombie sound over here though so i’m gonna try and dig to it and see if we can find some new caves

Oh there we go new cave oh even nice some more iron okay we’re in the deep dark biome i’m not seeing any shriekers so we should be okay and no mobs spawn down here right maybe they do oh that’s a there’s another spawner wait i didn’t move very far away at all i

Really hate this though and the shield’s gone we got plenty of bones that’s really nice we got golden apples oh that’s huge okay i just did the math on this with the coordinates from the other one it’s like right there i gotta try and connect them because if this works we

Are changing the episode plan for now and building a skeleton spawner check this out spawner up there skeleton spawner spawn right there in there also skeleton spawner and both are activated and we’ve got to build a double skeleton spawner back home now where i’m getting just a few things

Together and i put a load of potatoes on to cook some more food the bundle is great it’s storing almost everything i need for this spawner outside of clearing the area and kelp which i have none we’ll get that later but we can also throw another protection 3 on the

Pants which is really nice already got it on the boots too you know what i just want to do it all at once so let’s go find some of that kelp now making an expedition to the surface there’s a small ocean bomb right over there that should hopefully have some kelp yes yes

It does seems like a pretty small ocean have dolphins in here but uh we’ll just leave them to do their thing what a stupid fish cod all right there’s a stack that should do it let’s go get started on the double skeleton spawner i was getting ready to wander over and

With the chambers cleared out we got our killing spot right here the mobs are going to land there but we’ve got to go 24 blocks up to be able to create the drop shoots and the water elevator actually come to think of it i think it’s 23 because we want them to be

Barely alive of course it pops out into a cave which we’ve got to be very careful because i want to be very alive okay torches please it’s looking pretty safe around here now minus the witch kinda missed that one now it’s safe back down we go to actually get some building blocks

Because i was not expecting to be in the middle of a cave now it’s not gonna look the best for now because this is just gonna be functional we’ll clean it up later if we want to but nobody’s gonna see this okay now to connect the other ones into

This spot second tunnel is now ready to go we just got to dig this back down goblins are notoriously bad swimmers but we can hold our breath for just long enough ha ha once we break that kelp this top spawner is completely active and we gotta get

Rid of the torches but for now let’s get the bottom one ready too second tube is now dug out just gotta catch ourselves into the main one little sign action and we get the water flowing in from all the way over there yes perfect oh boy i hope this works

And there we go all the way to the bottom where we put all the kelp in and the fun part let’s see if this works oh the killing chamber’s not set up at all oh go go go oh i forgot to break the goat break go break the cup get me out

Of here please oh there’s gonna be skeletons flooding that bottom section let’s put that on the top okay you know what no we can stop it we’ll do that let’s finish setting up the rest torches gone in here too and they’re coming go break this go go go out i’d like to get

Out please thank you and close okay let’s get the killing chamber sorted how do i get down there i haven’t figured that part out yet i do need to get a magma block so we can auto farm them and we’ll set up the sorting after they’re actually falling down here

But for now i can at least start the monstrosity oh there’s a lot oh my gosh that was a lot of skeletons oh look at them oh look at them and they’re one hit with an iron sword oh that’s so good i can’t withstand on that block otherwise the top one does

Deactivate which they could definitely fall through right now so we need to fill in this gap right away so some of the skeletons are killing themselves when falling so i think we need to move it all up one block which honestly isn’t the worst we set ourselves up with a

Little double chest right in here hop her into that and i brought some iron along so that we can craft ourselves a minecart with a hopper in it throw a rail we throw that in and we’re actually good to go now we can collect everything perfect with all the levels acquired at

The skeleton spawner we can finally continue enchanting up the tools this guy’s almost dead unbreaking three you know what that’s pretty good and on breaking three fortune three on a shovel that’d be a perfect enchant for either of these and maybe it just nice sharpness two unbreaking two aren’t

Swords yeah we’ll take it it’s better than nothing it’s time to create goblin infrastructure for the first time we now have a reason to travel across the entire cavern so in the name of transportation we need our first rail system i’m thinking going from here to

Starter base e over to there and then we book it all the way across now that we’re over here we just need to create the same tower type thing connected to this side Goblin infrastructure is gonna be a lot more difficult to build than i thought it would be the other green ones are trying to stop me the rails are in place as well but one problem i don’t have the iron to connect the supports all the way up to the

Ceiling with chains so we’re just gonna have to use our goblin imagination as we do a little dance here on the rail because it’s so exciting we’ve got the rail down oh boy oh my god the rails look good let’s build the rest of the way please stop no no no no

No run away run away run away now as a goblin we are all about business and i really like shiny stuff we need to create an experience for our customers to enjoy their time here in the cave if we’re going to be allowing people to access the skeleton spawners so step one

Is gonna be an entrance to the cave speaking of shiny stuff i need more diamonds as all my stuff is pretty much about to break so back into the mines we go much much better 25 diamonds in there made a new pickaxe so we got this fancy

Guy new shovel and i’ve been doing a bit of enchanting trying to get something sorted so far we got prop 4 on the boots but i want to keep re-rolling them until we get feather falling back to the project at hand i know just the place to

Put the first entrance into the goblin empire lizzie and joel already have a road between them and it is the perfect place to rope suckers i mean customers into coming into the cave to buy access to the skeleton farm but step two of attracting customers we

Need to clear out an easy pathway for them to actually walk inside because this one right here is not the best customer experience Hello hi customers already hi welcome uh customers for what oh the goblin empire the whole experience yeah you need any bones you need to kill any skeletons you look like a fighter you like fighting things right yeah yeah yeah you want to go on the railroad fight some skeletons yeah no uh maybe

You’ve been there and you’ve seen them there will be ah yeah i barely made it out of there with my life oh it’s horrible absolutely horrible okay well i made a shield and i’m bringing fire so it should be good right uh yeah just go up north you’ll find them

Okay thank you yep good luck now it’s time to build a big flashy front entrance for the cave and for this i need some exciting new materials to catch the attention of travelers so we have to become a traveler all the way down to the mesa last episode we made

Endstone happen this episode we’re making glazed terracotta happen since i’m here i only need like six but i might as well get a ton hold up what’s down here bonner oh yeah wow holy cow another cat disc we’ll take it and a name tag i like this oh my god

We found other side big win for the goblin empire and there we go that should do it jimmy will never know we were here i’m sure the sheriff won’t mind yeah he won’t notice that yeah all of this to be able to make 12 pieces of glazed terracotta

If i can find something with fuel in it and there we go the final items on my list for this build is some more spruce wood as always that should be everything together here now it’s time to build up the gate starting off i want to create the base archways for the door

That should work next the doors themselves i’m thinking we stretch right along here to close it up a touch now for the fun part using some glazed terracotta to create a banner going from our yellow to our green to our lime then for the middle we use blocks of gold and

That’s looking pretty good so far we just need a roof to go with the wonkiness that spider scared me way too much maybe we get some lights in also defensive spikes seem to be a good way to go to protect yourselves and creating a bit more of a grand entrance first i should

Probably get some walls in here and i just want to mess it up with a bunch of variety so this side looks like maybe they had to repaint it and the original mess can be right down here now to carry the wonk through the roof we can work on

Bringing a bunch of stairs all the way back here and covering the entire top this is really starting to feel like a very good entrance but we need some door handles and this should do now one more touch right over here and on this side i’m thinking we add in some grey’s

Terracotta now in the middle we can just do some regular cobble deep slightly and in the end coming down the pathway into the cave is gonna look something like this just continued all the way around the curve down to there but first to fix a bit of an eyesore right now the build

Doesn’t really connect and that’s where we bring in a load of the tough blocks and start building up some boulders and fill that in with some dirt there we go now it looks more like we carved it out of the side of the mountain oh wait these flowers it has idea as extra

Element to attract some new customers in let’s add some flowers land surface dwellers like flowers right yeah we’re gonna do that the entrance is now perfectly designed to attract people inside to visit the underground the inside however is a flip a flip work in progress to get started we’re gonna need

Some copper or a load of cut copper for starters we’re gonna come back one two three four and five and install another support right back in here give ourselves a little bit of a curve this way we can really show the wealth of the goblin empire the copper ceiling they’re

Gonna love it next to clean up the sides we’re not open yet sorry please go away okay we’ve got a good idea now i’ve just got to continue it all the way down from there i got to work finishing up the rest of the pathway until we reached the

Cavern floor and now we have a full luxe experience as you walk into the goblin empire let’s hope everybody brings their diamonds because they just see how luxurious it is down here until you get through the gateway and then we’ll it’s the real goblin empire down here i

Almost forgot fry flip goblin patted in mob auto farming collection systems skeletons bones and arrows and everything you could ever need patent pending i need to add in a magma block so you can actually afk at the thing means a trip to the nether and i absolutely hate it here any magma block

Oh i see one that’s very difficult to get to anything easier oh i forgot to wear my gold i’m friend i am friend piggies i respect you please please we can we can talk about this there we go magma box let’s just get a few extras because i’m here magma block

In hand we can voyage across the entire goblin chasm i really need a name for this place do you have any ideas let me know down in the comments and down we go where i think we gotta install a security system so not just anybody can come walking in here magma blocking

There and autofarm or manual farm next up we need to create a good customer experience at the skeleton farm as well things are not the safest down here especially over there we’ve got an entrance but starting off i need to develop a new containment zone as skeletons are right here

All right this here is a good start from here i also want to create a gate to ensure only customers are able to enter the farm no i hate these things let this be a lesson to all silver fish do not enter this i may be an intelligent goblin but i still

Don’t know how to redstone that well yet so today we’re using a design by impulse sv to create a key door lock system now next up i need to decorate and definitely hide this otherwise somebody can tamper with it first the decor there we go this is looking much better

Inside of here next up i just need some carpet to cover this up but i have no sheet real quick test though ah there we go in true goblin fashion the other side is absolutely disgusting and i should probably get the copper out of here because we are not giving that away

Hopefully the base is self-explanatory of stand on this block and then kill the skeletons but i’ve cleaned up all the copper in here that i can access nope there’s even more ah so much copper now we’re really getting to be a wealthy goblin in order to cover up the redstone

I do need some carpet but i have no sheep but i know somebody who does i’ve got my gray dye and i’ve got my shears we just need to that’s a lot of squid what is the sun princess doing here with so much squid okay we’re at the dock

We now have the sheriff on our side so it’s time to be a true little goblin over here and build ourselves a tunnel i just got up to level 48 however and installed some ender chest so i can keep the keys in there which means we can do

A little bit of enchanting and get ourselves a brand new pickaxe you guys this guy’s got a little dead and not tunnel building ready silk touch would be absolutely amazing here because we already have two fortune 3 pickaxes so what are we looking at silk touch i i like this

I don’t i don’t like it as much i not as much we will try with one more pickaxe fortune two don’t care about that but what do the boots give death strider three fun breaking three on a book oh that’s gonna be perfect we can add it we just need more efficiency on

Here now try it again and yep that that’s that’s good that’ll that’ll do right there that’ll do pig one thing i really want soon is to get ourselves mending so we need to get villagers sorted for that i brought up some potions after the nether run last

Episode so we do this and then bam and bam they’ll be nice friendly citizens of the goblin empire when we’re back from digging that’s really unfortunate the bat guy just cured and then got one shot by that dude who boats it is hurry up attack me don’t go check the villager

Don’t detect the village queue get in the boat you get in this boat good sir nope goods no you’re so dumb get back in the wall get in the boat you stay right in that boat look how close he was to a creeper really didn’t want to do

This but at least i made two potions well anyways with that it is time to finally start digging our first goblin tunnel but now in the corner of our cavern begins the first tunnel of the goblin railway of goblin tunnels my goblin senses are telling me that if

I turn this way i might find some treasure so let’s give it a shot the shiny senses are tingling i got i got a pillar up here and see what we can find oh we’re getting close to the surface now what is this copper where are we

We’re right under troll’s base oh i knew it this guy loves gold and shiny stuff oh this could be a perfect place for us to hang out just patch this all right back up now my plan for the goblin tunnels here is to have a traveling network for myself to get around to

Everybody’s base because i would really like to run this series for quite a while into it without an elytra being the underground empire it feels a little weird having wings and things like that just kind of breaking out of the story and everything like here for just a

Moment so if i establish all these secret tunnels for myself to get around and maybe be a little bit of a goblin prankster this would be absolutely fantastic so next step we need to get a rail line bring ourselves all the way to here the first tunnel has now been dug and

Now we can travel secretly between my base the goblin empire and joel’s base i hope to decorate the tunnels and turn this into a full experience connecting to all of the different empires and there there’s joel look at him this way we can travel around easily without

Needing to get an elytra minecart ready to go and for now we can just hide this behind a tiny stone wall because that project will have to wait for another day as i’m all out of time for this episode things are ramping up but the early game grind is in full effect leave
