Hey guys hebdo here and today i’ll be showing you how to get your hands on a new other side music disc added to java edition in the 1.18 update better known as part 2 of the caves and cliffs update the other side music disc is the first Overworld music disc added to the game in 10 years with the last overworld music discs being added in the 1.0 update back in 2011. so how do you get this new music disc there are two ways you can get it and no creepers aren’t one of the options The other side music disc can only be obtained from two types of chests they’re most common in dungeon chests where they have a 3.1 swarm rate there is virtually no strategy for finding dungeons so you’ll need a degree of luck to find them generally speaking though provided you Spend a good amount of time mining underground you’ll likely come across one eventually the other place you could find these discs are in stronghold altar chests the ones you find in corridors where they have a 2.5 swarm rate while this is of course lower than the dungeon chests the advantage of Strongholds is that there is a way of consistently finding them by following isa vendor given strongholds are typically only visited on your way to fight the ender dragon it would therefore be a good idea to put the disc somewhere safe before going to the end dimension in case you die during the battle An ender chest would be the best place for it allowing you to easily recover it when you’re back at your house i hope you found this video helpful if you have you may also enjoy my video showing you how to obtain all the other music discs in minecraft including the 1.16 pigstep disc For more minecraft tutorials like this one every saturday do consider subscribing and thanks for watching You Video Information
