Building farms is a vital part of minecraft but sometimes you just want a quick small farm so in this video i’ll show you how to build five micro farms you need in your minecraft survival world the first farm we have is a wool farm and this firm is quite efficient it Gives you a large amount of wool this thing’s only been running for a couple minutes and we already have over a stack and i’m going to show you how to build that one first you’re going to need the materials in the shulker box so you will need eight building blocks seven Redstone dust 2 observers 4 dispensers at least 4 shears but up to 36 shears you want 13 grass blocks a mine cart with hopper 4 powered rails 4 rails a standard hopper 2 chests a redstone block five glass and eight trapdoors of any type so the first thing we’ll want to Build is the collection area which takes these blocks you wanna start by digging down two blocks in the ground or you can just put your chest above there just depends on what height you want the farm to be then have a hopper going into the chest then place rails on these four corners Like this and put powered rails in between them to form a circle place a redstone block in the middle place down a minecart with hopper and get it to move you can of course break it at this stage and then later on we can put it Back if you do not want to hear that noise now we’ll grab the rest of the materials for this farm and make it so you want to place grass blocks in the middle here one here and then make them go two out from the center And this will kind of make a plush shape and once you’ve made this plus shape then place one grass block in every single corner this will give you a diamond shape now you want to grab these four glass and these observers as well as these trapdoors we’re going to start By placing two trapdoors on either side and flipping them down like that this will start to build the walls that will enclose our sheep into the pen now make an x of glass like this with one glass in each corner and one glass in the middle and place these dispensers one facing Towards each one of these so one like this and have one face this way one face this way and one face this way so each one of these would be pointing towards a different direction now place a temporary block in the middle and an observer facing down towards that dirt block Break it and then place an observer facing upwards towards this we can open this up to get out now this stage you would want to find four sheep and get one in each one of these containers and you can also dye them at this point of whatever colors you want of course they Don’t all have to be the same color you could have one of different colors or all the same color whatever you prefer and once you have all the sheep in there just put one pair of shears in each dispenser ideally you could fill up the dispensers but if you don’t have enough Shears for that just put as many as you can now cover this all up with diorite or some other building block you want i just chose direct because it sort of reminds me of wool now if your redstone dust make an h shape on the top like this so you have a Line here a line here and one in the middle at this point the farm will start becoming a little bit loud we can finish it up by putting this minecart with hopper in there if we didn’t have it there already if you did wait to this stage you’ll Have to get a trapdoor 2 duck under there to push it and that is the wool farm done you can see it’s already producing wool that’ll collect it this will harvest it and this grass will regrow from every angle you can also make this microfarm a little bit more Micro by making this be the ground level because then you don’t really get to see this collection area but overall i think for what it does it’s quite small and fast next here is an extra small stone farm so with this you can simply break the stone here it will be collected in The chest and you can mine more and more stone and get more and more into this chest here it’s all auto collected none of it burnt and it’s also in this super compact shape to build this stone farm we need 20 trap doors four hoppers two signs two building blocks two chests two Buckets of water one bucket of lava and some temporary building blocks so building this is relatively simple all we have to do is get these two chests here and start by placing them down like this then get our hoppers and place one in the corner there and one in there and Have these two be leading into this hopper here then place two stone bricks here and here at this point we can get ourselves some temporary blocks and put them along here this will just make the whole process a little bit easier we’re going to place trapdoors on top of there and also Trapdoors on top of there then we’ll flip those up to make this sort of wall on the side now get up on the temporary blocks and place trapdoors facing this way and flip them up so that the trapdoor is on the block above here it’s not to the side but it’s actually this Block and also place a trapdoor on the side of here you can use a temporary block to make that easier but this is just to seal up the sides of the farm now grab your two signs and place one on the side of each one of the trapdoors here And once you’ve done that then we can place a final trapdoor on top of there one here and one right over there using the hitbox of the sign to place it and the last thing we have to do is place trapdoors all along here and once we’ve Done that we can just flip these up and we now have this space here break these blocks right here now grab your two water buckets and place one in the corner here and then one one block away from it but make sure to face towards the trap door here and Not towards the chest now this infinite water source in the middle pick that up place it over here on this trapdoor and up here place a lava bucket on any of these blocks that you want but i would suggest just placing it on one of the sides like this And now the farm is completely done and once this has covered the entire area we can simply break this have those blocks be collected into the hopper like this and your automatic stone farm is done you can even afk like this it’ll mine all the way there it’s the most Efficient stone farm you can make that is also the smallest for our third microfarm here is an efficient four chambered sugar cane or bamboo farm to build this sugarcane or bamboo farm you need one block of redstone four rails four powered rails one hopper two chests one mine cart with hopper for sand Although you could build this with let’s say dirt or a different block that both sugar cane and bamboo can be grown on you want 4 sugar cane or 4 bamboo or a mixture of the both but only 4 total 9 redstone dust 2 observers 12 trap Doors 1 water bucket 4 pistons and 14 building blocks as well as at least four temporary blocks we’re going to start out by making this with a collection area very similar to the sheep farm over there so we’ll simply break two blocks in the ground like this and place down our two Chests then place down one hopper going into those chests and we’re gonna grab our powered rails and standard rails we can place a powered rail here and just like this place these here and we’ll finish up this little area by putting a redstone block there and we Can put our mine cart with hopper there later now we’ll grab sand and place one piece of sand on top of every powered rail here and once we’ve done that we’re going to place a water bucket down here in the middle we’ll now plant our four sugar Cane or four bamboo or even a mixture of the both on top of here like that and place a building block in the corner of each one of these then get out your trapdoors and place one on the side of the sugar cane here so we have one Facing out from every side then place two on top of that on every side here as well this will give us a wall to make most of the sugar cane end up in the farm and not just flying out from the side and we’ll flip all those up here to Give ourselves these four walls and i like using the acacia trap doors that you can see it but of course you can use any trapdoor that you want to now grab your pistons and have one facing towards each patch of sugar cane so basically one facing each direction Like that there there and there place a block right in the center here and place one above that as well and then place blocks on top of each one of these blocks here and fill this up to the top here with placing a block in the middle As well place two temporary blocks on either side place an observer facing down on either side then we’re going to cover up the tops of both of these with two more pieces of granite we’ll place one more in the middle cover the entire top and redstone dust after we’ve done That we’ll simply break these temporary blocks on either side just like this and now this firm is done as well and when the sugar cane or bamboo goes to the top here this will break it it will be collected down here and we’ll just have the final step being Putting our mine cart with hopper down here pushing it like that and now we have the collection system done as well with the fourth firm here we have a rather compact super smelter that will smelt an item through eight different hoppers so that eight items can be Smelted at the same time as one item normally would be able to this is quite a simple design and i’ll show it off right now to build it you need two chests 16 hoppers eight furnaces although you could do blast furnaces or smokers seven rails one powered rail one block Of redstone one minecart with chest and of course some coal or some other fuel to smelt your items with start by placing down your double chest then placing a hopper into the side of the double chest two more hoppers into that hopper tumor hoppers from the other Direction into that hopper then kind of make it go around here like this to form a sort of square circle now you want to put a furnace on top of each one of these and you can shift so that that does not go into the hopper now put your Hoppers on top of the furnaces here as well so we have the hoppers going into the furnaces and the furnace is going into the hoppers then place a powered rail on one side here and we’re gonna get our four normal rails and put them on all the other blocks and put a block Of redstone in the center then place down a mine cart with chest divvy up your coal or whatever your furnace fuel is evenly throughout each one of the furnaces and now it’s done simply look at where the just mine curt goes by and hold down right click or whatever your Open key is and then you’ll open it up place down the items you want to smell they’ll go through here smelt and end up in the chest for the final farm we have the super small auto fishing farm and to build it we simply need the items in this shulker box over here They’re quite simple you want to start out by placing down two chests in the ground or above the ground i just prefer to build it this way once you have those two chests there then place down a hopper going into those two chests place down an oak fence On top of there place down an oak sign on every side of the fence post make sure you’re looking at the fence post while placing these then get rid of any chickens you have in your way place down a note block on this side place an iron trap door on this Side make sure you’re facing this way when you place it down so they would open up towards this direction now place a pressure plate on top of the fence place a water bucket on the fence right there make sure you’re looking at the fence you do not accidentally place water here And once you’ve done that get your fishing rod in your hand get pretty close to here before you actually go in the water and look at the edge of the note block there holding down right click and this works like a traditional fish farm now you don’t get any treasure Loot in this farm as it does not have the requirements for it however you do get any of the junk loot and of course the fish loot as well which i think is pretty good for a farm that’s this small and especially setting something like This up early game you can have a very functional food farm you can even see there we just caught one water bottle so i guess it’s a junk item not very edible there but there we go and that’s how you build five micro farms for your survival World i designed all these farms except for the last fish farm which i’m not actually sure who designed hopefully you enjoyed these and i’ll see you later you Video Information
