fWhip – Minecraft 1.16 Survival : Ep 1 : Brand new Fantasy Starter House!

Hello my friends whip here and welcome to building with whip season three we are leaving behind everything that we know i’ve crafted up some iron armor here just to give ourselves a little bit of a head start when we get started with everything new here my friends

But it is time to start our 1.16 survival plans i am so very excited for this one if you are ready please be sure to hit that like button down below and my friends we are had enough going straight east to find our brand new base location we

Are getting pretty close now and i want to bring you all back in here for a quick moment to talk a little bit about what building with whip is if you are not familiar with this series and you’re brand new hello welcome i hope you enjoy your stay

Uh this is my world where i have spent over three years and this is actually episode 290 building up insane things throughout this world i love to push the limits of survival minecraft and just do absolutely insane things like building mountain ranges building entire cities and everything like that

Out of survival i decided for 1.16 it was time to start a new start a new chapter in this world and we are moving about 1500 blocks to the east of where we were previously just gathering up all this coal here because we are desperately in need of

Blocks and a few levels to get some enchantments and everything like that but we’ve got a bunch of things to be doing in the nether we’ve got a bunch of build projects to do in the overworld and i’ve got a little bit of a book here that actually goes through a few goals

Of things that i want to be sure to tackle and these will be ways that we can actually get back into our overworld or our previous world of stuff and get resources for example create a road that links up the 1.16 area up to the old seasons

This gives us access to old items and storage my friends that is a 1500 block long road that needs to go all the way over there it’s not just going to be path blocks after that we have gathered netherride ingots each netherite ingot that we gather

Is going to allow me to bring back one tool from the previous season and upgrade that to another right pickaxe another at axe whatever it might be on top of that we have another one of creating a full beacon so the entire base for killing a wither getting the netherstar

Getting a beacon all that stuff gives us access to the old beacons full enchanted netherite armor which means we need a lot of netherred ingots my friends uh is gonna give me access to to my previous elytra if we have not already went to the end

Then on top of that if we create an ender chest shrine which is gonna be a big build i put a few empty shulker boxes inside of the ender chest and i’ll get access to those ones in there that’s going to give me a way of kind of emphasizing building and

Things like that i like to build in this game we’re here to build we’re not here just to kind of chill and do some slow stuff and then i have some pages left over for empty ones and that is where you all come in let me know what other tasks

In a reward that would be associated with said task we can have inside of this world and i really gotta make sure i don’t lose that book and in order to keep ourselves safe i made some iron armor for myself so we’re good to go i’ve got about

Everything i need to have here and it’s time that we jump on into this lovely tiger forest here i love this color of the terrain in here that we have with these grassy colors and everything and they’ll be great to work with for some of the 116 stuff i think a lot of

The wart blocks and the crimson blocks are going to be looking awesome throughout here but my friends welcome to our brand new valley base i’m so very excited for this when i found this location a little while ago i wanted to have something that i could

Use it for if we go a little bit further into here you’ll see that we have a bunch of these large cliffs all around us and i am so very excited to work inside of this little bit of a river valley area and see what we can’t come up with as

We’re kind of moving throughout this entire like like look at this we expand this a little bit here and flip transform terraform everything off by it it’s going to be looking absolutely awesome i’m thinking that something large large structure up on top up there could be absolutely amazing for and having a very

Cool farmland region stretching throughout this valley transforming this river so it actually goes throughout the entire thing and i have so many ideas for this in mind but at your first glance right here let me know what ideas you have as well for this place i think it’s looking absolutely amazing

I think it’s time for me to get a little bit of survival grind out of the way my friends and get some just a general storage shack built up around here clear out some of the trees so we can have a place to actually build and

Do some very cool unique things of this area and let’s get to it if anything fun comes along the way i will be sure to bring y’all in i just finished chopping down a bunch of trees out here oh there’s a spruce like we missed

This little cave over here can actually get us very very far underground i would love to find some diamonds and actually very far very far underground it looks like there may be a start of another one right under here that we could no it’s not much better yep we need cave number

Three let’s go find cave number three it’s getting to be nighttime while i’m still looking for a cave but check this thing out i love i kind of want to bring this little bit of stone connecting it all the way back down to the ground and maybe

Connect that one down to the ground and we could have this be a big area for another portal oh that could be really really cool oh new cave new cave new cave maybe maybe no come on now come on can we find a cave this one here looks a little bit more

Promising than the rest have so let’s go ahead and explore this guy out all the coal up here i can gather later and it just again come on what’s going on here all right well maybe i’ll get this cold now this cave right here has to do it look at how

Okay yeah that’s already deeper than any other cave that we’ve found so i think we’ve found a promising one no mobs all right i’m gonna grab some iron and see how far down we can take this thing and hopefully my friends we will have our first mandatory episode one

Diamond i’m sorry you can’t preemptively say diamonds okay we gotta get to the diamonds first okay found some creepers and some zombies it could be nice to get some early mob drops so we can actually i guess there’s not really much that i would use

Them for right now i am kind of keen on using some tnt to mess around with some i went too close come on the double creepers the double the ones down two’s down we’re good this looks uh very very promising to at least be able to get far far down the problem i’m

Realizing right now my friends is i didn’t bring any wood to be able to make another pickaxe so we’ve got a little bit of a problem here this thing can only break 62 more blocks and i want to see if we can find some diamonds before that runs out

Oh we got some lapis though that’s a good that’s a good start here we could use lapis that’s fine i use a little bit of cobblestone to get across down here and i don’t have a bucket either looks like there’s no diamonds or anything down here so we’re gonna just

Grab the lapis and get back up there found another cave down here that connects up into that one that we were working through and uh we’re running real real low in durability on this pickaxe here there’s not too much left that i can grab without really really limiting ourselves here

I finally found something new at least it’s not great yet but it is a ravine we’ll see if we can maybe get something out of here and uh hopefully keep ourselves safe from lava and also from mobs falling on top of us that is priority number one

I’m out of coal i i’m out of coal everybody that could be very let’s go down this way this way looks a little bit better more lava in a ravine not so much in the boom a lot of mobs not better not better at all

One last thing we can explore oh my gosh that i didn’t even that’s not that was wow uh oh it comes over here too that’s oh thank you thank you minecraft gods you knew i only had 14 torches my last pickaxe pickaxes at 48 durability i just wanted diamonds and you’ve made

This happen you’ve made it you’ve made it happen for me thank you thank you minecraft gods i’m gonna make sure that this area is safe and that’s that’s not safe skeletons are not safe friends skeletons are that’s cold i thought i saw more diamonds in the ground again but it’s cold

It’s all a trick it’s all the ruse trying to get us killed over see it’s god gonna suffocate trying to get these diamonds here oh my gosh and it’s three that’s enough for a pickaxe i’m out of here i want to get into the nether we’ll find more diamonds later

I want to let you all know that i did completely delete the nether before i didn’t prune chunks or anything like that i straight up deleted everything because i figured that would be uh the better way to start out with this new update i didn’t want any of the weird trunk borders

So we’re going to go ahead and jump into the nether for the first time here and i’m really really curious to see what we can find but let’s see what the 1.16 nether has to offer oh oh oh it has basalt and blackstone oh i love the particles oh

My gosh and magma blocks wait this is the coolest freaking netherspawn i love look how cool that is oh my gosh wait i love this how far down are we we’re at 102. we’re basically at the ceiling we’ve got to figure out oh my gosh this is not safe at

All though there’s some netherrack oh there’s oh there’s the there’s the the blue green tealy ones we can get some of those i don’t know how the saplings or anything work we’re definitely if you all want to see another exploration episode please do let me know down in the comments below i’m

Thinking this is a very very cool another up so maybe next episode we can do some exploring and hanging out and kind of moving around and everything so if you think that’d be cool let me know do we need a hoe to be able to break

This to get the blocks back that’s what i’m knowing there because my axe i need another one of those this is this is awesome wow i’m actually just speechless right now this is so cool looking i was hoping to find some of the crimson wood

But we gotta you know we gotta do a little bit of stuff around here first whatever it is regardless i love this netherspawn oh there’s one of the crimson little guys we can use that we can bonemeal it if whoa this is the shelf into the abyss

Look at that oh my i’m so happy about all this basalt though that is gonna be awesome i was a little worried about gathering that stuff like i want to use a bunch of it in our new build that’s going to be easy oh we could take

Some of these twisted vines back with us and use that in order to get on top of the mountain for now oh that’s going to be perfect we’ll we’ll do more nether exploring later i just want to get like a little bit of crimson and get out of

Here i just need enough to be able to do a roof so probably like a half stack or so of the thing and like i’m i’m outy i like i need i want to get out of here this is scary oh it’s a pig look at your little ear

You only have one ear but look at your little ear i know you’re probably mean and scary i won’t touch your gold don’t worry everybody i will not touch your gold i will touch your quartz though it’s a baby piglet oh there’s a gas oh there’s a gas hopefully Can we do it come on yes got him nailed it the last nether biome i could find i finally finally got down here into this one that thing right there i don’t know if that’s what triggered it or maybe this one but either way we are we’re now in the safe area where

We can get a little bit of crimson over here i’m gonna block up this lava so that it doesn’t mess with us too much and i think i’m just gonna head over to this forest and uh there’s a scary piggy i think there’s new block breaking sounds for bone blocks

Or i just have my volume turned up a lot higher than usual because that sounds really different it’s kind of cool though i like it wait what there’s a there’s another fortress here too i’m not even going to screenshot those i’m just going to wait until

Hi there let’s just get some wood out of here that’s not an x that’s an x oh geez he’s staring me down from up that’s hi you stay up there okay little buddy big buddy big big buddy big big buddy i’m just gonna take this stuff

And you can do your thing over there oh no no no no no i am getting slowly further and further cornered over there there’s more of those big piggy boys right there there’s the little piglens over here there’s a bone structure up there that’s just ominous and saying i’m probably gonna die

And i i think i just want to go home i think at this point we’ve got a stack and a half of it and we need to just get the heck out of here maybe grab a little bit more on our way out and then just just go we’re just i’m i’m done

I want to get out of the nether we will come with gold armor next episode and actually explore this thing in a little bit of a sea that’s a very tall tree No no not a good call not a good call not a good route not a good route bad running route i’ve been practicing parkour i can dodge and weave dodging weave whip dodge and weave dodge and weave okay just keep running parkour warrior here i come all right i think

We’re safe under this tree oh geez he is very very aggressive he found me under the tree everybody there’s another one there’s another one there’s another one there’s another one there’s another one there’s another one there’s pork i don’t have him into her space report ha ha we slayed our whoa

No no no no no no no you know when you don’t take the roundabout route it’s a lot faster to get over here i got over here pretty quickly and we just kind of fell down a little bit of the way survive no there’s one after me there’s one

After me i don’t want to fight you guys i just want your trees please that’s all like i’m getting rid of that we’re gonna go with you we got all of our tools back we got all of our wood but there’s some other things still on the ground over

Here where’s my food there’s my food i’m not even eating pig i’m eating it’s a baby one though look how cute the baby the baby was aggressive the baby was aggressive the baby what is aggressive the baby one is even worse there’s not even anything in here that i

Need i got my obsidian let’s run i have the high ground now pick a kin what are you gonna do about it don’t challenge me yeah you stay down there you stay don’t you even challenge me i got the high ground pikakin what do you want since i’m more okay with potentially

Tearing down the starter house i don’t really want to but i think i’m going to throw it right up here because i this whole area inside of here i kind of want to turn to farmland and have some buildings like almost working their way up the cliffs

And kind of building up into the edge of the cliffs and everything like that we could do the same on that side over there but i want to have very big farmland down here and we are actually i want to come up with some designs for like large-scale pumpkins or carrots if

You’re familiar with world of warcraft where i’m taking a little bit of inspiration from for this build is the valley of the four winds if that doesn’t give you an idea if you’re not familiar with that at all if it doesn’t give you an idea of what the style we’re

Going for here today as my friends is we are starting flips fantasy asian inspired building area i am so very excited for this one i think it’s gonna be absolutely awesome so what i want to do here just for a little bit of a challenge

Is we come out this way so that would be four we need to get five so we need a five by five box on here so that would be one two three four five and then i’m doing this a little bit of a different way than what i normally do

So we can have this right here this will be an enchanting room right so we can enter in here we’ll have all the books going all the way around at the enchanting table in the middle that’ll work out great and so we’re going to plan out that one i don’t know

Where the rest of this is going to go but maybe we bring ourselves like here and then we have like our doorway right into here and we extend ourselves out another three maybe let’s move all these down one and then that gives us a cool area where we

Can have a bit of a balcony on the front of this one which would be pretty sweet so doorway is gonna be right inside of here we’re gonna have a wall going throughout here it’ll come out a little bit and have a large room in there

And i’m thinking staircase go up to the second floor inside of here and then if we bring ourselves back and say one two three and then we can have like one here and then we go one two three and how wide is this that’s uh that’s a

Seven wide center so nine long in total i think that’ll be good and bring ourselves all the way back over to here and that should actually line up being a pretty good size starter house for us this is gonna be a big build everybody i’m super excited

For it let me get some blocks in place here i don’t know what it’s gonna look like so i think it’s just time for flip to you know punch some dirt and get some blocks down all right here’s a little bit of a better plan for what this structure is

Gonna be we’ve got the room over here we’ve got this front little hallway this staircase is going to go up in there as well we’ve got our kitchen and i added on it back little area where we’re going to pile up a bunch of barrels back here for our

Miscellaneous storage of sorts just something to get us through until we build up a big storage barn because we’re also gonna have barrels inside the kitchen and everything like that i think it’s gonna be a perfect little spot for it i’ve now spent a very good while getting in

The shape of the roof on this side right here and i haven’t taken a step back to look at it yet and so i want to save that for doing it with all of you here together so three two one bam okay okay i can’t i like that color

I think it looks like we’re making neapolitan ice cream houses but i like the color i think we might need to split up the spruce down here and maybe do some like stripped oak or something in this area that might work a little bit better if we had like stripped oak down here

I do like that a lot more with the stripped oak if we did that all the way across that might actually look a lot better because it lightens it up a lot and gets rid of that uh i guess a peanut butter um raspberry and a dark chocolate

Neapolitan ice cream that’s kind of what we’re going for here and then for how the roof is looking right now just kind of comes up here on these corners getting the little uh archie thing on the end bits and then it’s kind of using just some slabs and

Everything to bring that all in around here i do want to figure out a way to connect it here so it kind of goes like this and it weans like curves out a bit and goes over those guys i don’t even know where to begin at this

Point folks a lot of things have happened since the last time we talked and i’m i’m i’ll be honest i’m at the point where i don’t know if i’m sold on crimson wood and that is what i have right now the shape is a little weird i

Think it’s because i was very limited in the space and honestly like i haven’t really done like a traditional roof style like this ever before because i usually tend to go just like the straight lines on things i don’t really do this little arched up corner thing

So it’s been a little bit of a challenge trying to get that in here together then the dark oak mixed with the crimson everything like that i think what we’re gonna do here is i’m gonna leave this design and finish up the interior and i wanna hear

Your feedback in the comments below do you like the crimson wood is there any blocks that we should work with in this palette outside of it maybe we should try the warped log also it’s time for me to get some interior decorating done on this here lovely structure of ours

And see where it goes from there so i’ve got the little fireplace in here for ourselves and i’m gonna throw another furnace sitting right up there so that’ll be one two and three furnaces inside of that guy all of the barrels and this thing’s apparently the wrong way and fixed

All of the barrels and everything are basically just gonna line this back wall i’m probably gonna just get like 15 of them in there and call it good for now uh then this is going to be a kitchen area inside of here should be pretty easy to decorate we’ve got a lot of

Space inside of it over here this room is going to be left until we get the enchanting setup done and i need to take this wall out and replace in the blocks using the oak that we updated it to and there’s just a lot of different

Things i’ve got to go up above and deal with the bedroom as well and it looks like there’s some other spruce plugs that i missed throughout here oh man i have really rushed through this i guess i was not double checking on anything i kind of

Like it up here though maybe get rid of that one and then we’ll be fine ah that’s probably gonna we’ll do the whole thing whole thing whole thing’s gone it is very far into the next day i’ve been fighting with this thing for way too long because

I did not like it at all i know i said i was gonna leave it i couldn’t leave it i’ve switched the roof around so we have the crimson on the outside and we have the dark oak on the inside i like that a lot better kudos

To mythical sausage for telling me about that one and i think i’m gonna tear down this box thing that we have at the top and change it so it’s a little bit flatter and has the same little roof sticky-outy bits instead of being that arched way

I just don’t like that and i’ma bring this guy up into a tower and then then i think it might be interior time or we’re going to save that for i don’t know i’m this episode’s supposed to be coming up very very soon and i i need to get this thing done

But i want to have a finished house beforehand because i want to have a cool starter house even more time spent that it’s uh it’s raining everybody and i thought this was actually a really cool view from down here i went back into the nether because i added chains along oh and there’s

Thunder lighting uh but i created a bunch of lanterns and added some change to the corners here and had those hanging down did regular lanterns it was like no no that’s where you have we have soulfire lanterns so i went all the way back on the heather

Got some courts leveled up a few more times and i came back with sulphide lanterns but it is looking so much better now i’ve got this little area terraformed out here too i think i showed you all that before but i want to bring in i’m doing a last

Little bit of terraforming outside next episode is where we’ll tackle the interior we’ll tackle the interior and then we’ll go do our little nether exploration stuff because i uh while i was in there i just found another bastion uh but i want to create a bit of

A wheat field here so we can actually get some food because i only have 22 mud in left and uh that’s not gonna let us last us very long anymore and there we have it my friends i think it is time that we call this one

Good for the day i changed all of the glass out on the building and added in white stained glass instead that’s a pain in the butt without silk touch because we lost all the old stuff and i’ve been gathering up a bunch of sugar cane so that in the next episode

We can get our bookshelves and we can start decorating the place and maybe get an enchanting setup done and everything like that but my friends we have done a heck of a lot of stuff here i’ve got my wheat field in i’ve actually got two little separate ones of them i’ve

Brought over some oak leaves that i was able to sheer up and everything so we got two little wheat fields right over here and then i started a little carrot and potato field i do hope you all have enjoyed today’s episode those those thank you so very much for watching
