Gaming On Caffeine – Minecraft: Fusion Warfare Mod Spotlight! [Part 1]

Hello everybody and welcome back to game in our caffeine monomers Issac and welcome to part one of my mod spotlight on the fusion warfare mod by team monumental for Minecraft 1.7.10 this is a brand new mod it came out a few years ago now I think about 5 at the time of

Making this video and I’m gonna split this up into two sections this is kind of like a tech slash war mod the first part of the first video the one you’re watching right now is gonna focus on the odd generation the power generation and some of the machines that you can make

In this mod to use that power and then the second video which will be coming out in about a day SR put a link on screen and in the description when that video goes live so you can click that if you’re watching this in the future and

That video is already up to go watch that and I’ll spot annotation at the end of the video if you get to the end of then want to watch the next one but that one’s gonna focus more on the missile side of things with things like weapons

Armor turrets and stuff like that so that’ll be the second part the first part that we’re gonna do today is going to focus on this stuff that we see here so the first thing we will talk about is all generation there are three new oils added by the fusion warfare mod the

First one is this guy over here the infused crystal or this one just drops this infused crystal the infuse catalysts off which drops infuse catalyst and the infused as UI or which drops see as you write crystal each one of these will drop one of their respective crystals each time you break

Them and these crystals can be used to make a bunch of different stuff within the mod now before I go any further I did forget to mention I’m not gonna go through any recipes within this I do recommend you install any ice you can go ahead and look up the recipes for

Anything you want to make and throughout the mod not gonna go through recipes because recipes are subject to change this is a brand new mod I believe it is in beta so things may change quite frequently energy values and recipes and stuff like that will probably change

Constantly as the mod develops I’m not gonna go through stuff like that any eye is a good place to start I’ll put a link to that and all of its requirements in the description this mod by the way also does not require any of the mods to run

So the first thing that you going to make when you start with a fusion warfare is this little guy over here the infusion table which looks kind of like a crafting table but like kind of terrified and if we look in here this thing is used to make a bunch of stuff

Within the mod now unfortunately although I’ve just been pimping nei the infusion table doesn’t seem to have any any eye support so for example steel is a very important part of this mod this is steel over here and the default way that you make steel spoil best people gonna show is by smelting

Steel mixture which is made by combining iron and coal together heat iron and three core gives you two steel mixture however if you were to look in the infusion table and click this little question mark you will see that you can make one steel ingot using one call one

Iron and then a little bit of power now there also put two other recipes throughout this thing like I said unfortunately some of these don’t show up like the alternate recipe first steel doesn’t show up in any eye that might be fixed in the future but it’s just a

Little gripe that I have for now but if you gonna make something make sure you look in here first to see if there’s like an easier way you can make it and a lot of stuff like these little guys over here the advanced infused crystal I’m pretty

Sure you can only make within the in future table here so this is gonna be the first thing you want to make mainly just to get steel a lot easier and a lot cheaper because steel is like I said the fundamental block of this modern pretty much everything you were gonna make

Requires steel and then also a bunch of these other things like these basic chips advanced chips and hyper chips are all required to make some of the other machines and stuff like that that you gonna need pull it on down the line next up on the list is the power generation

Itself so the most simple way to generate power is with this little guy here the ackward generator and this pretty much does exactly what you would expect it to do let me get like a little bit of a whole grain here basically stick this down somewhere and then

Surround it with water and you will start to produce some power so if you’re looking here boom this thing produces power extremely slowly produces for energy now it’s not in like I think it’s in red stop folks but I don’t quote me on that I haven’t checked tonight it’s

Just like abstract power units for now so right now produces 4 power per every 2 seconds so basically to power a second but for some reason all of the energy generation systems in this mod work every 2 seconds as opposed to every second so this thing by default will

Generate for water for water for power every 2 seconds if it is fully surrounded by water if you go ahead and pull it down whilst it’s raining so if we go ahead and toggle down fall and make it rain it will start to generate and let me turn the sound come real quick

If it’s reading it will go ahead and generate eight power every two seconds 100 1220 I’ll trip 228 and in the next two seconds so now he’s producing four words on flex per second instead of the the traditional fare is producing eight every two seconds as opposed to five

Every two seconds which is now for every second as a poster – every two seconds is basically doubling the amount of power that it generates whilst it’s raining which is pretty nice I’m gonna go ahead and turn right off because the vent is horrible and that’s the basic

Form of power generation this thing is really easy to make but also produces like a really really small amount of power so it’s not really a great thing to go with for the long term the next one however it’s actually pretty good so the next step generator we have on the

List here is the geothermal generator and as you can probably guess this works in a very similar way to the way that the aqua generator work to port instead of with water it works with lava and this one is a surprisingly high magnitude better than the first one is I

Believe this one produces 30 or 40 110 is gonna go up 240 115 produces 40 energy every two seconds which is 20 energy every second which makes it significantly bad – pretty much ten times better than the Aquajet aerator it doesn’t use up any of this lava it’s

Just surrounded by lava so this thing is a much better investment however it is significantly more expensive compared to this guy which is basically just stone iron or water very easy to make bit more expensive to make bit better for thee at the long term power generation next on

The list is the solar panel this one is probably familiar to anyone who’s ever played with the tech mod and this thing basically will generate power based on the Sun now this one doesn’t have a set number of redstone folks who generates per tick I don’t think I’m assuming that

It’s gonna work it’s as time goes on if we go ahead and set time to like if we say it’s a night time it’s obviously not going to produce any power during the night and then if we were to go and set it to say six third we’ll say to zero

Which is like the very start of the day this thing it produces actually no okay so I was wrong this thing is going to produce 15 however take when the Sun is out usually the way solar panels work is they’ll produce more when the Sun is directly above them not this one this

One will produce 15 power every two seconds constantly just forever and then uh the cool thing about these is when you go ahead and pull power from them they form a multi-block so they do all have their individual power like limits or power sells it like storage inside of

Them but I’m fairly certain that you can pull out of all of them at once like this so having that connected up warp L out of all of these and we’ll get to transferring power in just a second next on the list is the wind turbine that is

This guy over here and again anyone’s ever played with any of the technology and the knows what a wind turbine does so by default it looks like this as soon as you put it down it will get itself a turbine like so but you’ll notice it’s

Not spinning and if I go ahead and press f3 and show you our Y coordinates right now we are y 71 and this does not work if you put it on another one above it we are now at Y 72 it doesn’t work y 73 Y

74 Y 75 and it actually starts to work so anything above Y 75 so we put up here it’ll work I put it down like here it one here it one but then again above it will now that while producing power these things only work above Y level 75

So you gonna want to make sure throw a little bit higher up and then this one is gonna go ahead and produce 30 redstone flux per tick and I think this one works better in an ocean biome if I’m not mistaken so if you put these in

Ocean biomes I think they do produce 40 redstone flux per tick as opposed to the sorry not patek 3030 energy units every two seconds because that’s a really confusing way of doing it redstone flux particular 20 ticks in a second so really strange wave it’s a really weird

That they didn’t use and normal like standard view they have measure for that for the energy but anyway this thing produces 30 fusion warfare units of energy every two seconds so 15 every second that’s that and then that is all of the power generation systems that I

Kind of contained within one block there are some reactors that we’re gonna look into towards the end of the episode but there are a lot more complicated and have some really strange unique requirements in order for them to work so I’ll get to those right at the end

Now in order to actually use power you need these guys over here the network controllers so for instance if we were to look over here what are these items that uses power is of course the energetic furnace every tech mod has a furnace but if we were to do something

Like this and just took the solar panel up straight to the furnace via the network cable by the way there’s only one kind of network cable there’s no like the higher tiers or lower tiers of cable it’s just one cable for all the network and all the energy

You will see that there is not energy being transferred into the energetic furnace that is because all of your power transfer all of your power transferring has to be done through one of these network controllers so if we were to go ahead and say grab ourselves a basic network controller and

Appointments down right there and then stick the furnace in front of it the power will now be transferred from the solar generator into the basic network controller and then through into the energetic furnace which I might as well talk about now is basically just a

Furnace if I was to go ahead and grab some iron all like this and then kind of throw it into our furnace it’s gonna go ahead and smelt it now this is also a good time to point out that there are overclockers in the game these overclocking chips which you can

Put into pretty much any machine most machines can take ten chips a few could take five and some could take fifteen as a maximum number of chips you can also put them in here to make them transfer power faster because this thing does only transfer power at a certain rate if

You put overclockers in it it will transfer the power faster and then there are also other tears there is the advanced here and the hyper tear all the kind of machines and all the drops and all the armor and everything in this mod is based on three tiers so it’s all

Basic advanced and then hyper in that order basic being the least like effective then advanced being second and hyper being the best and basically all these do is if you’re a hyper one it will transfer the energy really really fast as opposed to the basic one which

Does it kind of an average speed and if I was to grab some more iron ore here and kind of show you the difference between throwing it in with that no of quoc isn’t throwing it in with ten you will see that is significantly faster when we have ten overclockers in there

As opposed to one so that’s the furnace and then is there something I missed over here Oh anyways there are these two over here there is the energy receiver and at the energy transmitted those fees are both really cool I like these so these are basically for sending power

Wirelessly about places so for instance if we had this guy here the basic network controller you do still need that by the way to transfer things to it the receiver and the transmitter and we had our furnace let’s say like here what we could do and these are coming really

Useful for the other reactors you probably want to make these for the reactors that I show you later on in today’s episode but if we were to put the transmitter down here X obviously the power is being generated by the solar panels and being set through to

Here and now it’s being stored in the transmitter we can then go ahead and stay the receiver down over here and I’m gonna quickly tell have any other pressing oh there so these disappear and you could see if we look in here it says oh my for looking this one over here it

Says no receive a fan which even not found and what we need to do now is we need to go ahead and grab ourselves and any eye is not on some we have to go through to here we need to find ourselves a location linker and or once

We’ve got one of these we simply shift right-click on the receiver shift right click on the transmitter and the linked receivers been found the power is now being set over to here and the power is now being transferred if we have a thingamajig if we have ourselves a basic

Network controller which you do need a birth site II need one there and then a controller the furnace next to it there we go the energy is now being transferred from those solar panels over there through the transmitter to the receiver and then into here you can also

Put overclockers in the transmitter down here to make it transmit power faster if you so wish you cannot put them in the receiver they will just receive however fast the transmitter is sending and that is pretty much it for the power generation section excluding the reactors that we will talk about

Later I’ll do some of the machines and some of the things that you can use your power for there are actually some really cool ones and again I’ve kind of left a one or two of them out because I think they go well with the war side of the

Mod which we’re gonna cover in the next episode the first one here is the or enricher which is actually a really surprisingly good block now usually in mods like this if we look at things like and do our thermal expansion mechanism anymore like that that has some kind of

Audible link system you usually put yours into the or enricher and it will double them into two dusts you then smelt them in the furnace and you get two ingots however that’s not the case in fusion warfare in fusion warfare it’s done a little bit differently so if we

Were to go ahead and throw down our or enrich them and then grab ourselves some iron or awesome gold I would also work and we put the gold ostrich in there again you can put overclockers in if you’d like this turns it straight into two ingots so you don’t even need the

Furnace which i think is a really cool it means you don’t have to go and set up some complex system where things go through your enricher and then to the smelter but it also makes the furnace a little less useful and you can still use it for things like cooking beef cooking

Pork and all that kind of stuff but it’s not required for your or processing needs you could just turn one or into English using the or enricher which is kind of cool next one the list is another call 1 this is the mining unit which again is kind of the the

Quarry of the pack and this one works pretty well as well if we put this down right about there it will do it’s like again like I said as always it’s gonna get power and it’s gonna work if we give it a redstone signal by default but if

We were to put some overclockers in it it will go a little bit faster turn it on this is the default speed it does pick up the actual oils as opposed to picking up like the call it doesn’t break them like you would expect it to

Do it picks them up so yeah I got to break those yourself but to every put some overclockers in here using more power but it goes really really fast this thing has a radius of 10 blocks so it will go 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 blocks

Out this way and I kind of do like a square like that and kind of do an area that’s a 10-block radius so I kind of do like around here if you will it is a pretty big area he does it pretty fast and you can see we’re getting a lot of

Stuff it kind of goes through scans the area and just pulls out the odds and as you can see it doesn’t actually we needed only for solar panels and this thing is doing pretty well going fairly fast although it’s kind of slowing down now because we have so many overclockers

In there and not that many solar panels but it’s a really cool little unique mining system that is maybe a little bit of a powered it’s pretty fast for what it does you’re 35 I am real quick there and considering we could just take that and then plunk it into an ore enricher

Like that when we get like double the amount that we get double the oil straightaway it’s it’s a little bit powerful these other ones are expensive though bear that in mind these are pretty expensive to make and and all of these infused steel and basic chips of

Stuff do need to be made in the the infusion table over there and then finally the last block before we get on to the beacons is the exp it fabricator this guy over here you can probably guess what this does if we were to go ahead and stick this down all right

About here next to the network controller again this one basically allows you to get experience so if we were to go into survival mode real quick you could see we I have one level now this is not to be confused with levels you could see that it says 30 60 and 90

Expirience not 30 60 and 90 levels so whatever it’s go ahead and click add 30 experience we need 900 energy total not quite there yet once we get to 900 energy which should happen very soon actually let’s just go ahead and like kind of jump back into creative

Quick and just hook up like these guys to the system I mean this guy’s not really gonna do much but this guy might okay and they’re back in survival mode if you look in here now it’s getting more power so if you look at 30 XP it

Takes up to level 3 and then if we did it again it would take us up a little bit more and of course due to the way that the Minecraft the levels work the more the higher the level you get the less it’s gonna do so you can see that

It took us up to levels by using 30 experience if you did it again it took us a 1 if we do it again we don’t have enough if we wait a while until we get 1,000 to energy which is really an oddly specific number it’s gonna take us up a

Little bit more but obviously the further up you get in the system the less level you’re gonna get and what 300 is all we need oh it’s telling us how much more energy we need not like how much we needed total so everywhere until

It gets to about 1700 boom we got a few more levels so that’s how the EE XP fabricator works you can do 90 I think 90 requires about 4000 energy per total and then these ones will be of course lower because they are low amounts of experience and then finally we’re gonna

Go back into data until you guys could see what’s going on we have these two beacons which are actually really really cool so this one over here is the anti mob become which as you may have guessed is anti mob and stops mobs from getting anywhere near you so let’s go ahead and

Stick that down like that I would like a better source of power action let’s just throw down like a bunch more of these solar panels I think this should allow them to all connect up I don’t think we have to have a wire coming from each of

Them that should like transfer the power pretty quickly straight through it to this thing which is yeah it seems to be taking the power of all of them and sending them through to here now they don’t produce a lot of power because obviously they are passively generating solar panels but

They’re producing a fair amount and then if we were to go ahead and of course grab another one of these we’ll use the advanced network controller for this one stick it out like that and they connect all these up again with cables don’t forget you do need to have the we’ll do

That actually we don’t like that do we forgot the the other one you do have yourself a network controller somewhere in there for in order for it to work right now it’s not doing anything if I was to go ahead and grab set as zombie and just whack this down like that

That’s always just going to live on it’s like fine nothing’s gonna happen to it if we were to go ahead pop it’s gonna burn cuz it’s daytime but if we go ahead and turn this on it will start spinning and anymore but within the area begin to

Disappear look at that boom it actually just gets rid of the zombies you get rid of any mobs within its area it’s got a fairly large area here if I go ahead and grab a few more zombies and kind of stick them over here you will see that

They do kind of disappear you can see the radius is enough to get rid of the zombies over there so if you were to stick one of these in your base you will be fairly confident let’s see how can we get these if you could be fairly

Confident we’re not in peacefull by the way we are in normal difficulty you can be fairly confident that the mobs are not gonna be able to were to come near you that seems to be fine and then at some point they will walk within the radius of the anti mob beacon so it’s

About this is like the radius so I’m going to survive on create mud this is like the radius you imagine this but circular around that to it that is the radius of the mob to it and then finally the last machine that we have here

Before we go and look at the reactors is this little guy we play a healing beacon as you may guess this thing does a bunch in a similar way to the other beacon but it basically heals the player so again actually gonna need some zombies just to

Kind of demonstrate me taking damage and then if we grab a lever to activate it like so boom boom it’s on it’s spinning we will go into survival mode the mobs will no longer be spawned because they’re here but you will see that if we are close

The beacon our help show us back up fairly quickly you can see was getting hard now you wouldn’t normally get hard to even if you would like even if we didn’t have one of these but because we have one it’s not got a lot of power in it so

It’s going a little slower than it’s sometimes would and I believe you can put no you can put overclockers unless what we are getting now we are getting help back and this zombie does not stand a chance nice so if you could like if you were to combine this with your what scenario

Having a few of these Dada banter bass would be very nice if people came and raided you you would start getting healed there is a team system within the mod as well you can we’ll talk about that next episode when we talk about the weapons and stuff but there is a team

System where you can put people on different teams and then have turrets always target people on the team it’s pretty cool but with that that is all of the blocks and all of the power generation in at the tech side of the mod the next thing I will talk about is

The reactors or but I was gonna call the big reactors there but they’re not they just the reactors of the mod now like I said they have some really specific requirements in that they have to be placed under the ocean in order for them to work so what I’m gonna do here is

First I’m gonna go into survive into peaceful mode so that guy just goes away second of all I’m gonna show you how to build these reactors I’m gonna show have to build them on land but then I’m gonna go ahead and move over to underwater and

Kind of show you how they look once they are fully submerged in water so the first reactor is the bit the more basic of the two and that is just a simple square reactor that looks something like this it’s a five by five like sir with the floor being filled completely in it

With this steel casing like so the kind of outline of the the whole thing also being made of steel casting you’re then gonna fill up those inner walls with the the steel glass it’s called steel glass it’s called reinforced glass we’re gonna fill in at the middle sections where the

Reinforced glass like so and then right in the center right there you want to put the reactor core nothing else goes around it and then all right on the top here after you fill the top in with the glass was oh the top is not glass the top is just simply more

Reactor casing much like the bottom and then right at the top you’re going to put a reactor cooling unit and is the entirety of this reactor that’s what this looks like you can see if we right-click it like so we now have a react if I was to break it we can’t or

We can right-click it nope we can’t we can’t like lick it anymore that was just a very delay if we put the plug back and wait a second we can right-click it and this is what the reactor looks like we can’t do anything with it just yet because of course it’s

Not submerged in water the idea here is that the the reactor cooling unit is going to pull from the water above it because it has to be under the ocean and it’s gonna fill up this little tank here and cool down the core because of course

Gets very hot it is a reactor and it does produce quite a lot of power so that’s the first one and that’s the most basic one that produces less power than the other one but still quite a bit of power quite consistently now the second

One is a little bit harder to make a little bit more complex in its setup what does produce more power and is and it looks kind of cool if I do say so myself it looks pretty cool so let me finish getting rid of this thing over

Here and then we’re gonna pull over to our chest it’s made of very similar components it’s mostly made up of steel casing and reinforced glass but if you look over here put these back and we’ll take all of these out so this one is made up of multiple parts so it’s made

Up of what are known as capture so the first capture we’re gonna make look something like this you want to put one steel down go one up and kind of make a ship it looks like this you’re then gonna go with some reinforced glass some moss you’re kissing some more reinforced

Glass like so some more reinforced casing and then right on the top you’re gonna have a coolant like that but you also want to have the capsule car right smack bang in the middle like sir and this is one capsule that is what one capsule looks like now in order to hook

This capsule up to the advanced hydro reactor core which is the center core of the capsules you need to build two out from one side stick it down like sir and that will be one capsule hooked up to the reactor core you can hook up to follow up obviously can have one coming

Off this side like so you have one coming off this side and you can have one coming off on this side now if I quickly give myself a splash potion of a night vision what I can do is I can fly out over here and I’m all using the

Night vision potion so I could see the water and I can show you the pre-built one I’ve got like one quarter of one over there and then this is a fully built one down here now there are some more specific requirements and I kind of when we get down here it’s very

Slow cuz we are underwater but both of these have to be built I believe this one has to be built at least 15 blocks below the surface of the ocean so you do have to build it significantly far down and then the other one I believe has to

Be built at least 20 blocks below the surface of the ocean they might be the other way around but at least basically 20 blocks for both of these for this one you could see what why level at 35 and if we were to go over to the surface we

Have a wild level 62 ish so this is more than 20 blocks down so we should definitely work then if we right-click here you can see it capsules it says 4 of 4 if I was to disconnect one it should change and say capsules 3 of 3 we

Can hook that back up and now if we were to go back over to the mod and grab ourselves one of these advanced infusion catalysts and throw them in to here you will see that it starts to wear away and this thing starts to produce powers and this is how these underwater reactors

Produce power the other one works in exactly the same way they all run off of these advanced infusion catalysts you can throw these in here that would go through them one at a time burn up the they’ll kind of have this durability here that will wear down as

Time goes on and it will turn them into power I believe this one could produce 200,000 power over the course of one of these crystals so it lasts a heck of a long time you can see that 10 mm that should fill up once one of these advanced

Infusion catalysts has run out and the other one I believe could produce 50,000 from one of these as well so it’s a little less efficient this one although this one takes more to build and is I guess harder to build as well it’s a weird shape and I don’t think is

Anywhere in the mall that actually tells you how to make this you kind of have to just watch a tutorial and know how to make this so it’s a little bit weird but that’s how that works so like I said this is definitely where there’s a wireless receivers and transmitters I

Gotta come in useful because you need them underneath at the bottom of the ocean which is usually know why people tend to build their bases but with that guys I’m gonna end the first part of my fusion warfare mod spot like here thanks for watching if you did enjoy the video
