of demise and finishing a breach of demise that should go pretty quickly I think I hope um then two we’re gonna go around the rest of the Ridgeland add in any more small details we missed Um I think cass’s house or something is somewhere nearby um I know there’s a couple ruins we have to do maybe another stable so we’re gonna do that and then Ridgeland might be done it might be done so shall we dull a dull white A light Grayish color we’re trying to match that that’s the goal here um so we got to pick out a new block palette which to bring this up again um just a funny little funny little thing to start streaming with uh every time we’re messing with block palettes I get made fun of because I’m Colorblind and you guys think it’s the funniest thing ever when I say this looks like white but in all actuality it’s black um so last night I was I was looking into it I took another test and it told me I was a a medium protan or something so I Went into my settings on my computer and I looked into colorblind filters and I found the colorblind filter that’s supposed to correct it for me and I turned it on so I could see colors how you guys see it I’m sorry that you guys have to see colors like that I’m so sorry I don’t think it was working because everything was so deep saturated looking and it just it didn’t look very good and like red was just pink red was just like this is what red looked like all reds were this color except more dull so I don’t think that colorblind filter quite works Filters don’t work it yeah I I turned it I turned it off like I turned it on I’m not using it currently I just thought I’d share that even if it was working I still don’t think I would use it because I’d rather just like see the same colors everywhere you know Like I wouldn’t want to come to my computer and all the colors are different but as soon as I like look over there or like are on my phone or something it’s different you know I’d rather my colors all stay the same everywhere um but yeah we gotta figure out this uh This color palette start sharing ideas now guys can we get a Grog photo on stream permanently no but I’m probably gonna get another cardboard cutout of Grog like I used to have quartz Sandstone light gray terracotta let’s start there let’s see if this guy’s on to something like a terracotta I already think it’s too dark but we’ll trust we’ll trust we’ll trust Sandstone he said regular Sandstone so uh it’s not bad like it’s not horrible there needs to be something else to it though light brown might work there’s not really a good choice for a brown I guess like mud bricks or packed mud I would prefer Do a stream where you can only place blocks to the beat of the music I was actually thinking about that guys how would you feel about like mushroom stem but now at this new like sandier palette have you heard of Axiom yes we cannot currently use it on the map though because um we’re using building plug-ins that are Paper only and Axiom is a mod only right now so we’d have to switch to a fabric server and that would give up like three or four building plug-ins we need that are more important so as soon as Axiom has a paper plug-in version we’re definitely going to install it but right now Does it look like we can um Birch plank look at reverse plank that’s not how you spell it but first plank you know what we’re doing a lot of things let’s just test this let’s see how this looks on a large scale and then we can work from There I don’t think this is going to be the one but we might as well try it right Birch planks stripped birch wood um G Mass quite terracotta bone block and smooth Sandstone oh I have to that’s annoying um I have a better way to do this G mask Not air grass block or dirt all right that’s a the brush size 20. that I actually I actually like that accent was really promising yeah I was using in a single player world it seemed pretty cool most of the stuff that I saw it was just kind of world at it then the server would start again which Like yeah okay I’m not very smart with this kind of thing but why the hell does the list of band players file being empty means that the entire server can’t function like what’s the correlation there you don’t need more white it looks good I don’t know I feel like I feel like we Should add a little hint of white but like there isn’t really a good choice green frog lights yeah let’s add some green frog lights to the palette check your current palette with shaders let’s try with shaders I’ll do a complimentary reimagined I think it should be more white watching those videos I was able to like pick up on so many techniques and tricks and ideas and I think that was one of the biggest helps honestly Like starting by just learning some of those basic tricks and everything and then from there just keep forcing yourself to build like uh one thing I’ve learned from this project if I just like half like for this project I’ve had to build things that I like would never build otherwise like uh The dragons for example like beforehand I always just was like I’m not good at Dragons I’m not gonna build a dragon you know I can’t make a dragon look good but like I was forced to build farash for this project and so I just got better at building dragons Because I had to make one um so like find reasons to I guess force yourself to build things that you wouldn’t normally build I did that again recently I built a dragon it tastes like soy sauce smiley face smiley face Maybe I will have to try it then if it’s like soy sauce Thank you for the two again was this was the first attempt um this was attempt to number one it you know It wasn’t that good I I was going for like a different pose but it didn’t work I tried a second attempt that was the same pose but it was much bigger but that also didn’t look right it just didn’t look right so then I moved on to Like this kind of structure and uh yeah this was the this guy over here was the final result you know I’m pretty happy with this I could pull this in a video yeah this is for another video this is for this is for another video um I’m really happy with the wings too Like I really like when I have to Tinker with this we might have to Tinker with this but this might be this might be the idea look now it’s got the darker outline I don’t know if I like it though then now we get to the question does it actually look good Who really knows who really knows you can’t apply an outer barrier to a different color with a a brushed sphere you can’t do brushed sphere and specify the outer edges to be a darker a different block however you can you can apply your copied clipboard To a brush so we can manually make that sphere and boom that’s what we just did so now we have to figure out if we like it and I don’t know I don’t know if we I don’t know if that’s good or not I don’t know But I had my brain wave moment that’s all that matters so Supply like right there in the corner you maybe after placing all these spots going manually and overwrite the edges of some spots with the base texture to roughen them up uh honestly don’t know what you mean I feel like I’m over complicating this Too by the way I feel like there’s definitely a much easier way to do this that most definitely is so like this so then it’s not perfectly spherical you know it’s going to be rougher see what I’m
