Hardcore Minecraft Just Got SO MUCH EASIER!! (#2)

Hello everyone and welcome back to another episode  of hardcore minecraft in the last episode we   built ourselves this beautiful starter house got  ourselves some animals made a little wheat farm   down here and in between episodes i went ahead  and set myself up with a little sugarcane farm  

But today we have big plans a huge new  build that i’ll be constructing because   last episode we got ourselves an enchanting table  so i want to make myself a build where i will put   the enchanting table in i was thinking something  along the lines of a wizard tower that will go  

Somewhere on this mountain so without further ado  let me get myself off this little pillar here and   let’s get collecting the blocks that we’ll need  for this build but before we do that there’s a few  

Things i’d like to do when the first one is this  these animals are way too loud and they’re way too   close to my house so i’m thinking that i’m gonna  move them down the mountain here and put a couple  

Of pens set up right here so let me go grab some  fences and get these animals lured into their pens   since our enchanting tower is gonna be up here on  the mountain i figured that we could start working  

On a little path coming down this area and then  we can put the animals off the side of the path   that way we can connect everything  up and make it look really nice   so i’m gonna start marking out somewhat just  a rough cut of where the path is gonna be  

Now what i need is some railings some stairs  and all the stuff to make this a proper path it’s kind of funny that it’s raining in this world   right now because outside in real  life it’s raining really really hard  

I hope my power doesn’t go out and i lose  the recordings because it’s happened before wait a second why are the cows  escaping i think there’s so many   cows in here that they’re glitching  out okay um well um oh my god yeah

Okay and now we have our path up to the  house it’s not the prettiest thing but   the important thing is that it’s functional  i can walk up here without having to press   space bar and that’s all that matters and  now let’s move on to phase two where we move  

All the animals to live down in the valley  but first let’s get the pen set up so we’re   ready to go when we release them out  of the pen and it’s not complete chaos

Our first pen is going to be right here off  to the side i kind of want to stagger them as   we’re coming down this path that way it’s not all  blocked together all in the middle of the valley  

To make it look a little bit nicer now i think  the next one is going to go somewhere over here and as i’m building the last pen i found a  little chicken so this will be the chicken pen  

Hello welcome to your new home perfect our  first animal i have the chicken pen right   here and then the further we go down  the mountain we see we have one there   one there and one down here i have all  the animals except for pigs because i  

Haven’t gotten the carrot yet so one  of the pens will be left empty but   that’s okay so i think what i’m gonna do  is just thin down the animals a little bit i thinned out the animals just a little  bit that way it’ll be easier to get all  

These guys down the mountain and i  think it’s time to let them loose okay friends okay i don’t know how i’m gonna do  this wait if we could get too sheep out of here  

Wait come on go guys go nice so we got the two  cows in that’s all we needed and our sheep are   somewhat escaping okay come back come back come  back perfect welcome to your new home sheep  

And the lonely chicken up here i have seven eggs  hopefully one of these will spawn a chicken let’s   go first try now that the animal situation  is taken care of i have a couple of things   to do around the house with the first one being  installing a floor into the house because it’s  

Still grass and i want to change up this chest  area up here because it’s looking a little bit   too uniform and i want it to look a little bit  more messy a bit more like an attic space so  

We’re going to be working on that too okay the  first thing i think i’m going to make my floor   out of polished deep slates i think it’ll  look pretty good and in goes the flooring okay i think it’s looking pretty good but  let me know what you guys think down in the  

Comments i’m always open to suggestion now let’s  get working on our little chest area up here for the attic area i’m taking inspiration from  grian’s storage system in hermitcraft season 8   where it was just a bunch of  random chests and barrels all  

Stacked on top of each other and  i thought it looked really good   so that’s what i’m going to be trying  to somewhat emulate up here in the attic the attic storage area is now complete  it’s a bit of a jumble of chests  

Barrels and ferni but i love it all the tasks to  do around the house are now done and my diamond   armor is looking a bit dull so it’s time to  get the enchanting area set up for this build  

I’ll be building an extension to the mountain  where the wizard tower will go on top of   now that means i need to go gather an  insane amount of stone so let’s get to it   after roughly two hours of mining stone i mined  all of this out i finally have an entire double  

Chest of stone why do i need all this stone  well i’m going to be building a little peak   in between these two bigger peaks where we will  house the wizard tower obviously it’s going to   be hollow on the inside but i think i should  go ahead and start marking out where i want  

The frame of this mountain to be so i think  i’ll be starting it from roughly right here   and i’ll kind of go up in  a somewhat jagged pattern   like this and then if i come from the other  side i can join up to this peak on top here

And i want to make sure it’s flat at the top that  way i can have room to house the build okay i need   to be careful i just fell all the way from up  here to down there and i was only on four hearts  

And i managed to hit the mlg water if i wouldn’t  have done that i would have almost certainly died i think i have the frame mostly done  now it’s just time to fill it in   and make it look somewhat natural let’s go ahead  

And place some torches down here before  i forget and this turns into a mob farm okay and here is the base of the mountain complete  it looks really really good i don’t have that  

Great of a view down here so i will cut to a quick  replay mod footage so you can see what it looks   like from above and as you can tell it looks  really really good and now all that’s left to  

Do is put our wizard tower on top and then get our  enchanting setup all ready to go we have all this   stone here wow we actually needed a lot less stone  than i thought this entire mountain only took wow  

Only about 18 stacks i vastly overestimated what  i would need okay so i just finished up the base   of the structure and it’s looking pretty good  it looks a little bit washed out against the   stone background with the stone bricks but i  think adding some details will make it stand  

Out from what’s behind it i’m heading back to the  house now so i can get some spruce wood that way i   can start working on the top part of the wizard  tower taking a look from the house here and i  

Think it’s gonna look really really good once we  add some detail and it doesn’t look like it’s just   blending into the rest of the mountain i think  it’s gonna look super cool right here in between   those peaks and the base that i constructed  underneath looks super natural it looks like  

It’s just part of the mountain so i’m really  really excited for this it’s gonna look so good   oh my gosh look at my health i was placing  some trapped doors on on the edge and i fell   we need this enchanting table so bad feather  falling is gonna save my life so many times  

Okay so i just finished up almost  everything on the tower except for the roof   it’s turning out really really good it’s  definitely standing out a lot more against   the background now that there’s actually  some wood on top and it’s not just a big  

Gray pillar against a gray background so  i’m really stoked with how it’s looking   now for the roof i’m not too sure what i  have planned i could do some deep slate   but i’m thinking that i might frame it with deep  slate and then on the inside do a little bit of  

Amethyst blocks on the inside i think that would  kind of give it a little bit of a pop against this   gray background and it might look good and if it  doesn’t look good then i’ll just make the entire  

Roof out of deep slate so i found an amethyst  geode last episode so let’s go down there right   now and get those blocks all lined up and let’s  see if we can make ourselves a cool looking roof okay here we are at the amethyst geode  and let’s get everything mined up

Okay we’re heading out of the mines and i’m gonna  make a quick pit stop at the house to get some   deep slate and we should hopefully have everything  we need to make this roof let’s grab as much deep  

Slate as my inventory can fit time to head back  on over to the build site and it’s looking pretty   pretty nice from here okay so i just returned  from a creative testing world and i’m not really  

Liking how these bricks are blending in with the  background of the mountain i think i’m going to   swap out all of these regular stone bricks for  deep slate bricks and i think it’s going to look  

Much much better it’s time to go back to the house  and grab our entire supply of deepslate we should   hopefully have enough and not have to go mining  for it which is gonna be very very useful okay the  

Deep slate has been acquired and yeah i think it’s  definitely gonna be a good change because look at   how much the tower blends in with the rest of the  mountain let me zoom in here it is way too bland  

I think that nice dark color from the deep  slate is gonna make everything pop so much more all right so the deepslatification process  has completed and i think it’s looking so   much better than what it looked like before it  definitely stands out a lot more against this  

Gray background now because it’s much darker  and now i’m gonna be adding the roof i went   ahead and got a bunch of amethyst blocks already  and i’m gonna be framing it in some deep slate okay moment of truth time for the  amethyst blocks let’s see how these look  

Oh they’re so satisfying to place down okay moment of truth let’s see  how this looks all put together   oh okay i think i like it let’s finish up those  windows and then we can get the enchanting table   moved in and finally enchant our gear so  i can stop almost dying to fall damage  

Let’s turn around and get a first look  of the build from the starter house yo so i’m out here getting some sand and  there’s a drowned with a trident here ow imagine we get a trident on our  first try that would be crazy ow

Oh my god there’s no way there’s no way wow i was  completely joking when i said imagine we hit one   first try now that we have the enchanting table  area about to be fully set up we can definitely  

Get some enchants on this trident wow that is so  crazy okay so this is actually one of the first   nights that we’ve spent on this hardcore world  so far because i forgot to bring a bed with me  

I hope when i go back to my base there’s not going  to be too many mobs you know what i should also be   making a spy glass here soon because i’ve been  having to just do my fov slider down to 30 to  

Zoom in so but i have copper and amethyst so we  should definitely make a spyglass now that we’ve   gotten some glass we can also repair this one  missing glass from when we had a creeper explode   in our house last episode let’s put this trident  into our richest chest i still cannot believe  

We got a trident with the first drown that we  killed in this world hopefully that means we’re   on a good luck streak so when we go to enchant  our items we’ll get some good enchantments as well  

Alright we have all of our glasses melting up and  while we’re at it let’s go ahead and see how many   bookshelves we have it is storming so bad outside  in real life i really hope my power doesn’t go out  

And i lose my recording well i guess if you’re  seeing us recording then you know that it didn’t   happen so yeah okay so the rain finally calmed  down outside and i’ll be making myself a spyglass  

Let’s look at our new build in all its glory  through a spying glass oh wow it zooms in far   it zooms in so much farther than i thought i was  going to zoom in i’ve been doing a lot of back and  

Forth this episode i think we should definitely  make a road or some sort of easy connection   because it is a pain going through  this thick jungle the entire time there   getting caught on vines and everything making  a road is definitely the next project because  

Look i can’t be doing this the entire  time okay here we are moment of truth hello enchanting table are you indeed level 30 yes  unbreaking three okay i think that’s pretty good   hopefully we get some other enchantments are  we ready please fortune maybe some efficiency  

Oh that is so good the luck continues that’s  amazing oh i should have brought the trident   with us to see what we can get on that  depth strider okay that is definitely useful   but we’re at 28 levels so i’m gonna  need to go farm up some more levels  

And we can come back and get depth strider  on our boots now there’s a big cave down here   i’m thinking what i can do is go inside and kill  as many mobs as possible hopefully not dying and  

Get some levels oh hello friends okay  okay i’m on fire i’m on fire i’m on fire oh okay that was dangerous  that was not smart at all   okay almost four stacks of copper just  from that that is not okay level 30 amazing

Let’s go protection three unbreaking  three we didn’t get feather falling though   oh i almost forgot we need to add the tinted glass  to the windows we’ll keep the lighting nice and   dark in here it looks really really good i love  the changes to lighting in 1.18 because this  

Is completely spawn proof whereas before moms  would be able to spawn in here so i just had   a realization last episode i found a zombie  spawner and it was not too far from where we  

Are currently right now i was thinking maybe we  can get a quick little xp farm set up that way   we can have infinite levels so we can enchant all  of our gear and maybe while we’re at it we can go  

Mining for some diamonds okay so i double checked  the coordinates that i screenshotted last episode   and here they are so i will head over to  those and get a little bit of a farm setup  

For that farm however i will be needing some soul  sand so that means it’s time to also go to the   nether okay since we’re going to the nether just  for a little bit and this is nothing permanent  

I’m just gonna set up a little temporary portal  right here let’s hope for a good spawn okay okay   not exactly what i had hoped wouldn’t it have  been nice if we just spawned in a soul sand valley okay perfect oh well not very perfect  actually there is open nether over here  

However please can i just get a soul  sand i have to be extremely careful this is so terrifying make sure to mark this there we go soul sand  oh let me put on my gold boots so i don’t get  

Killed by piglets we definitely are not ready to  be in the nether right now but i just need this   little bit of soul sand we have everything  we need let’s run away goodbye pig boys   a successful another trip okay let me just  break this now since we’re not going to be  

Going into the nether sport anytime soon whoa  efficiency 4 breaks so fast wow that is crazy   now we have this oh let’s also bring the trident  with us because we’re gonna need to enchant that  

As well if only we had mending it only has 12 uses  left on it so we probably won’t be able to use it   until we get mending but we can definitely try  to enchant it and see what happens now that we  

Have the soul sand i also need a bunch of signs  and we’ll also need a little bit of kelp as well okay that should definitely be all the kelp  that we will ever need it’s official we have  

Everything we need to start this farm i’ll head  over to the coordinates and get this farm started and here we are boom perfect now what’s next is we   have to clear out a nine by  nine area around the spawner

Okay so everything is all cleared out i have the  water set up they’re gonna get pushed down this   and then right here is where there’s gonna be  a little bubble elevator and that’s going to  

Shoot them up and then it will push them over  and they will drop down to be a one-hit kill   so now that i have built up 20-something  blocks and use kelp to turn these all   into water source blocks i’m going to  place down a soul sand and hopefully

We go all the way to the top so as you can see  here sub to julien yes you should definitely   do that now i’m going to dig down 22 blocks  and there is one thing i forgot i need to  

Put some ice right here so the mobs get  pushed along a little bit better but it   looks like everything that we need is almost  complete i made my way back up to the surface  

And it was time to go searching for some ice if  i land this you guys have to like the video okay oh okay that deserves a like and maybe a  subscribe if you aren’t already is that another  

Shipwreck i see it sure is wow this ocean is  full of riches the only thing it’s missing   okay i was literally about to say ocean monument  and there’s an ocean monument right there and   a ruined portal hello guardians oh they are  they are murdering the squids run away squids  

Run away save yourself and look what we have  here ice perfect that is quite a nice mountain wait you need silk touch how did i not  think about that how can i get ice   i just realized i need silk touch wait a second  see this village right here if there’s a librarian  

We can use that librarian to get a silk touch  enchantment let’s see if i can make it happen mission failed we’ll get em next time okay since  we’re out here and this mission has been a fail so  

Far i think we should check this boat and see if  we can find a treasure map and maybe some buried   treasure nice i know a trick from speedrunning and  that is turn on chunk borders by pressing f3 and  

G getting in the chunk and then if you look at  your coordinates in the chunk which is right here   if you go to nine nine in the chunk then you’ll  be right on top of the buried treasure watch

Boom easy peasy now let’s see what’s inside water  breathing potions nice i’ll definitely take it   okay i’ve officially made it home unfortunately  we don’t have any ice in tow so i’m gonna go back  

Down to the zombie farm and see if i can make it  work without that one block of ice hello mob farm   i am back let’s see if these zombies are full oh  i can hear a lot of them yay it’s working nice

Oh a carrot so i’ve gotten a little  bit bored and i am inside the zombie   spawner just fighting the zombies as they  come out because since we don’t have that   ice block the zombies are getting stuck here  and the farm is operating extremely slowly  

I’ve been at it for about an hour and i’ve  only managed to get about eight levels so   that is not great but once we get that ice  block hopefully when we get some more level   30 enchants then it will go a lot faster  and let’s head on over back to the surface

After seeming like forever we finally made  it back to the surface now it’s time to dig   back down and get this staircase all set up  let’s test out this super fast stairway now okay wow now let’s head back over to the  enchantment table to see what we can manage to  

Get hmm unbreaking three okay not exactly what i  wanted but unbreaking three and channeling that’s   definitely it’s a start it’s a start um how did  i miss these i got a bit bored of killing zombies  

For xp so i decided to go down to the caves to  see what i could find when i came across no way   okay we found a big cave down here this should  hopefully have some diamonds for us i then  

Proceeded to get extremely lucky with finding  diamonds where i found some more oh my gosh i’m having such good luck right now 56 diamonds okay this cave is huge and i don’t  have any more food i am going to dig up and  

We’ll come back later okay why is this taking  so long to dig up i’ve been at this for about   three minutes now maybe i’m in a mountain yes  i’m definitely in the mountain i i’m at why 148.   slaughterhouse hello enchanting room

So since i haven’t gotten this ice block yet i  devised an ingenious technique to get the zombies   to run towards me shoot up the water chute and  then fall down over here as opposed to getting   stuck down here with no ice block now can we  please get so touched with this enchantment  

Nope now that this build is somewhat complete are  there any suggestions you guys have for it please   leave your suggestions in the comments i will  definitely be reading all of them and i know a   lot of you guys are really good builders  so any comments are greatly appreciated  

Will we get silk touch with this round yes finally  that took forever and we can use this new silk   touch pickaxe to finally go and get the last  thing that we need to complete the farm which  

Is one singular block of ice now we have  a mountain up here and i forgot to check   last time but there might actually be ice up  here oh no oh no oh no oh no powdered snow   powdered snow okay no ice unfortunately so it’s  time to head towards those coordinates that i  

Marked and get some ice i have never seen one of  these before oh they’re so cute pick up an item   oh it’s so cute oh my gosh i better not get  distracted but that is one of the cutest things  

I have ever seen in minecraft oh i seem to have  come across a frozen ocean let’s go i’m so excited   oh yes and there’s efficiency   oh yes okay half a stack of blue ice we are  back at the mob farm and i finally have acquired  

The ice right here i’ll be putting blue ice  because i’m bougie okay hello okay the farm   does appear to be working much better now that  the zombies are able to actually push each other   on the ice as opposed to just staying stuck on  them and they get shot up much more easily i  

Think it’s working a lot better than it was before  as you can tell because it’s quite loud right now that’s a lot of zombies and that  is it today for this episode of   hardcore minecraft we accomplished so much  today we built a giant enchanting tower  

We built a zombie grinder underground  we relocated all the mobs went to the   nether for the first time got full diamond  armor full diamond tools if you enjoyed this   episode please make sure to leave a like and i  will see you guys all in the next episode bye
