Haunted Lights – Adjustable Flickering Lights – Learn Redstone With Me – Minecraft Java 1.16.3

Hello hello and welcome to learn redstone with me i’m your host blizz let’s get started today we’re going to be doing these haunted lights because today this video is releasing on october 1st and october is spooky season so we’re going to be doing some spooky videos all

Month long all right this flickering uh light is adjustable and uh yeah let me show you real quick what it is it’s gonna fly around here fast this is all the redstone you need it’s really not a whole lot and it runs really well you can adjust it by putting

Different things in the hopper or the dropper yeah you can it’s there’s a whole bunch of different things you can do with it you can even make it stay off more more often than on by just putting a redstone repeater here instead of that torch and then i’ll come around the side again

And you will see that it stays off most of the time now very cool adjustable lights and i’m gonna go ahead and turn the world back today so i can show you how to build this okay this is the whole system right here are you gonna need a lever to turn it on

Or off if you choose to do that you’re gonna need three hoppers a few items just random stuff uh some stackable some not stackable you’re gonna need two comparisons a dropper a little bit of redstone and uh if you’re gonna use this uh on all the time you need a redstone

Torch if not you can use a uh repeater and then you’re gonna need the lamp redstone lamp so let’s get started building it okay all you need to do to build this you gotta start with a hopper clock so i’m going to put down two hoppers facing into each other so when

You crouch and you face them in like that so they actually go into one another and then you’re going to want to put one item instead inside there so it just goes back and forth like this now in order to turn this off if you

Want you just come to the back and put down a lever and turn it on and that will keep the item in there so it actually um doesn’t doesn’t do that at all it just turns off completely all right once you got that done you go

To this side you’re going to put down a comparator and then on the other side of that comparator you’re going to take a dropper and put it right there and then a hopper is going to go into that dropper so crouch again and put it right back in there

And then on the side of this one you’re going to put another comparator on that hopper there and then two redstone uh dust like that and then right here is where you activate it so you can put down oops put down a solid block there and if

You want to continuously stay on and then turn off everyone smile you put down the torch if you want to leave it off mostly then you put down the comparator here leading out from this block not to compare to the repeater now this part right here how this makes it random is

Uh this will shoot out a random item every single time it gets activated so what you can do is just put it with whatever random items you want to put in here um you want to put some stackable and some non-stackable and then the non-stackable one is what’s

Actually going to set it off so when a stackable item gets in this hopper um it’s going to put this comparator a one strength redstone signal so it’s only going to go to here now a non-stackable item is actually going to do a three-string signal so it’s actually going to power

This block that’s how that works now the items you have in here if you wanted to flicker more often you can either have less items like this now if i do it like this it’s going to flicker about every every other time about 50 flicker on

That one if you do it like that it’s going to be 33 flicker if you do it like this it’s going to be would that be 25 and then that one’s going to be 20 and so on and so forth yeah you just change it all like that um
