Welcome Back YouTube Civics here and today I’m going to be showing you how to get custom texture packs on Minecraft console edition this is either Xbox One PS4 5 or Nintendo switch now what is different about this video compared to my other two or three is That you do not need Minecraft on a second device to do so you only need a mobile device and you have to have access to the app store or Play Store that’s all you need for this tutorial to host Mac and a server now let’s get Started one more thing I would like to add in this intro is that if you’re using an Android device and the console you’re trying to play on is a Nintendo switch this method sadly does not work but other than that let’s get started so The first thing you want to do is is on your mobile device head to your store now what I mean by store is the app store or Play Store I’m on an Apple device personally so I’m using the App Store on the App Store you’re going to search For an app called Bedrock connect so just search for Bedrock connect and this should show up you’re gonna click on this and install the application next you want to head to our Discord that’s Linked In the description or it’s showing up on screen right now you’re Gonna head here and you’re gonna see a list of things you’re going to see a verified channel on a bunch of other things please verify before you do anything else in the server and once you verify you should see a couple of things you can see a server Packs Channel server pack update pings suggestions and help you’re going to go to the server packs Channel and here you can see a list of servers that we do support if you want the full list of servers we support head to this GitHub page linked in the description or showing up on Screen right now next this step is important you’re going to want to go to your files app and personally I already have a pack installed you can use any texture pack you find online it does not matter any pack you want you can use it Now if your file is an MC pack like I have one here it’s an MC pack you’re going to open it in Minecraft import it into Minecraft and then if you’re on Apple Head to this path right here and you should find a folder of the pack That is not a zipper anything it’s just a folder of that pack what you want to do is is you either want to copy it or just leave it and you’re going to want to press it into a zip so here you can see I held down on The folder and then I press compress and that turns it into well the zip pack so now I have a zip of the pack if your pack is already a zip you can just ignore this and move on to this next step so now what you want to do is is You want to go into the Bedrock Connect app that you installed and you should see a couple of things you should see this featured servers list that are Partnerships Etc custom and then you should see this gear icon in the corner what you want to do is is Enable server packs so I’m just going to enable this setting and next you want to go to set I’m just going to click set and then you are going to find where your pack is located so mine’s located under pack and you’re going to wanting to click on The zip of your pack so mine is a zip it’s set next I’m just going to go back to the home page now the next step you want to do is you want to head to your console edition of Minecraft personally I’m on a PS5 it Should be the same for all platforms but please do note that Nintendo switch may not store the files all the time what I mean by that is is if I head into settings and go all the way down to storage and then all the way down to cache data Please note that it may not store these files because of how small the switches system memory or storage is but for the most part it should if it doesn’t just redo these steps and you should be good to go now what you want to do is just select All the cache data you have so personally I only have these two I’m going to click multi-select select the second network is that one second Network UI fine just delete it now you should be good for the next step you’re gonna head back to your mobile device after you’ve set the packs and All that in it and you’re just going to find a server you want to use so personally I’m going to play zeka Network since Becca and press start so as you can see it’s loading for me and it says live second Network and then stop so now the server Is online and on my console you should be able to see the option to join Lan games zeka network is what it shows so I’m just going to click join and it should connect you to a multiplayer game so as you can see it’s loading then it Says download and join so I’m just gonna click accept it downloads the packs should once it downloads the packs as you can see my textures have changed around the GUI and it loads so after it loads it just takes me out straight again and I start To connect to an external server as you can see it’s loading once again so now do keep in mind some servers do say download and join again zeka personally does have two packs like Hive has more than one pack so you’re just gonna click download and join as you can See it’s downloading that 71.71 megabytes and it loads now that we are on zaka network you can see I do have a custom texture pack all the uis are custom there’s custom cat backgrounds Etc so now just you can log into a region so I’m just going to log into region and Once it loads you should be able to see that I do have a custom texture pack on zeka so as you can see I have a custom texture pack now that being said that is the end of this video um I hope you guys did enjoy I do have Other stuff planned for the future but for right now I was just gonna do an updated tutorial because it’s been heavily requested so if that’s all please like comment and subscribe and I’ll see you next time peace Video Information
