Hey guys I was just about to do a fresh install of Minecraft and I figured I would take the opportunity to make a video and show you guys how to mod your Minecraft client and also set up a modded server so I’m just going to jump right into it First thing I’m going to need to do is download minecraft alright great now that’s done I’m gonna go ahead and double click little exe here alright and alright and then you just go ahead and click Play and it will download the latest client which i think Is 1.7.1 so just give it a second to do that ok awesome once that is done what you’re gonna want to get go ahead and do is run minecraft once so I’m just going to blah blah blah yeah create new world let it do its thing oh great I always spawns me underwater Awesome okay so we can just go ahead and quit out of that now next thing you’re gonna need is Forge which essentially allows Minecraft to be modded so we’re going to do is download the latest version of Forge okay alright download that you can double click it And boom it should already the path should already be preset to your minecraft folder the default place that minecraft since all and just go boom install client let it do its thing awesome successfully installed now when you run Minecraft you have a new oh cheese you’re going to new profile setup It’s called Forge this is going to be the profile they’re going to use to play your mods you can rename it whatever you want okay so that’s done that part is done our minecraft client is modded alright and then just go ahead and click play it will load your modded minecraft Client up and it should this should yep should create a mods folder and I think creates the config folder like couple other things awesome now quit out of that okay and we are going to go back to Forge and whoops actually we’re going to do that we are Going to do this server we’re going to double-click the forge installer install server and desktop and server and then it is going to install the necessary voodoo alright awesome and now we have now we have our little servers installed and one thing that they did with I like I don’t know if that when this happened but this has been new since I’ve played it you’re going to start the server here we to start all right double click that okay and then it’s not going to start right like at this point it should start Server should load up no so you’re going to want to do is click on the EU la which is their like terms and conditions and and you’re going to change this where it says equals false you’re going to want to change it to true sounds like caps lock matters actually but you know Whatever in the lowercase save and then just exit out and then also we are going to do just one more thing we are going to open notepad and I already have this saved but this is what you’re going to enter and this is this one gig right here is variable this is the Amount of memory I’m allowing my minecraft server to use from my PC so you can change this you know more or less have it used less RAM or more whatever and then this right here we’re going to want it to match boom this alright awesome I’m going to go save as And you’re going to want to change this to all files and I’m going to start dot dat and save alright now let’s close this and drag this into our server folder alright and now we have a legitimate Start button or a server should start right up Awesome and now it is we’re done that’s all you do and you’re going to want to when you start installing mods on your server you’re going to drop them into the mods folder and you’re going to want to make sure that you have mods installed in your client folder as well As in the server and that is it that is literally how you do it it’s that easy I hope you guys enjoyed the video if it was helpful at all leave a like or comment or whatever you want to do but thank you Video Information
