Either today I’m gonna show you the super easy way to install any minecraft mod back without having to have it be a download on a major launcher like it eeep the beast or ATM the first thing you have to do is to download the twitch launcher from the download in the Description and install that it’s a desktop app for watching twitch streams mainly however it also has this interesting functionality it has all these different tabs at the top and you can install different mods for lots of different games but today we’re focusing on minecraft I already have some mod Packs installed because this is how I actually play and this is how I recommend any new people to play that play on my server and the first thing you have to do is to go to the mods tab at the top create a custom profile you can name it whatever you want For my mod packs you will be selecting one point twelve point two and whatever the most recent version of Forge is I think it defaults to the most recent and you’ll create that so now we have a new profile here you right-click it and go to open folder and that will have An empty mods folder and nothing else and your instant settings so keep this keep this around but also you’ll need to download your mods and in this case my mod pack I already have downloaded it’s called sneaky craft this is the most recent version but this will apply for Any version of any mod pack that you have it’s in a zip file so if you don’t know how to deal with that you can download 7-zip which I’ll also have a download link for in the description but you install that and you can go to here And say open archive and that will give you a little screen here you can also use when when you can also use WinRAR but I prefer 7-zip because it doesn’t bother you to buy it every time you open it and in here this will have all of your mods and configurations but the Super simple way to do this without having to extract all the files is you just let it do it automatically you copy both of those and drag them over to your instance folder and you’ll want to say to merge that folder since I already have a mud folder Here and now you’ll have all of your config and mods copied into this instance since you chose what version of forge you wanted and your Minecraft version it’ll automatically download all of that for you the last thing you’ll need to do before hitting go is to go Into this menu go to file and settings and go to your minecraft tab it’ll tell you a lot of other things even if you don’t have them installed but you get at a Minecraft tab and scroll all the way down and you can move this slider it automatically knows how much RAM you Have and what version of Java you have but you can tell it how much RAM you want to allocate and in my case I have about 6 gigabytes of RAM because I also stream while I do this I don’t want to max it out but you don’t need more than 4 to 6 gigabytes allocated for pretty much any minecraft file or is about the minimum you should do for like smooth gameplay in my testing I can play just fine with 4 and a half but you can adjust adjust this slider about every thousand is a gigabyte and then you go Back to your mods tab after you’ve done that go to minecraft and you just hit play it’ll open the regular minecraft Launcher you’ll see that it’ll have your instance name here and you don’t have to edit any of the settings in this and you just hit play that’s all there is to it If for some reason you get an error when you try to hit play on either of these try making a new instance in your twitch launcher and dragging and dropping all your things already or try read downloading your mod pack if you don’t have any friends or you’re looking for a New mod pack to play I would suggest you try and play mine I’ll let include a link in the description and I also stream my own server on twitch.tv slash a sneaky yeti link in the description and you can even watch it on the twitch launcher you just Installed or go to the website or watch it on your phone if you want to play on the server with me and watch it at the same time but have a toaster for a computer for links to anything that I mentioned check the description and leave me a like great I guess I Video Information
