What’s going on gamer? Today we are going to go over a few different ways to install plug ins onto your Minecraft server. Before we get started, on’t forget to like, subscribe, and click that notification bell to stay up to date on all future videos. Hosting a Minecraft server with your friends and other players can be fun, But the regular vanilla gameplay can get stale after a while. If you’re looking for ways to change up your game, like ways to add tools, cosmetics or other things, then you might want to start looking into plug ins. As long as you are running a paper, spigot, or buckkit serv you can run plugins to add things like homes, custom items, and a lot more. There are two possible ways to download these plugins on our panel, and today we’re going to go over both of those so that you can get started with plug ins right now. Let’s get started. Before we get started, In order to use plug ins, your server will have to be on a paper or spigot server in the panel. To do this you’re going to head to your main panel page, scroll down to the game file section, and then type in whichever server type that you want to run Along with choosing the correct server version that you want after that. Click on it and then you can choose to create a new world, and restart the server. The first way to install Minecraft plugins is through the FTP panel. Once you have the plug in that you want to install, you can use this method to upload it to your world. You can use our guide on how to find Minecraft plugins, which will be linked down below, and that’ll help you find ways to get safe plugins that won’t harm your server. Once you have the plugin downloaded that you want to install, click on FTP file access in the top left corner, log in and then head to the plugins directory. On the next page, press upload in the top left, and then you can drag the plug in jar files into the upload section and then wait for them to reach 100%. After that, you can return to the main panel page and restart the server. You can join your Minecraft server and then use the /plugins command to make sure that they appear in the game. If the install worked, the plugins should show up in green. You will have to be set as a Ser in order to use this command. Another way to get plugins is through our plugin list on the panel. Instead of having to search, download, and upload each plugin like the manual method, with this one, you can simply use the built in search function to find what you need and then install them with just one click. Unfortunately though, when using this method we can’t control which plugins appear in the list, so you have to be careful when exploring and using them since you can always accidentally Install a bad plugin which can cause issues for your world. Head towards your Apex Server panel and then click the plugin list in the left hand side, and once you’re there, you can change the source to either bukkit or spigot, and I definitely recommend Spigot. Next, you can use the categories section to narrow the results to find specific types of plugins. After that, you can use the name field to search for the exact plugin that you want and then press enter. Once you find the plugin, click its name and press install and then wait for it to finish and you should see more options like a button to remove the plugin. Once you see that, you can head back to the main panel and restart the server, and just like before, you can join your Minecraft server and use the plugins command to confirm they worked, making sure to look for the green plugin. In some cases, spigot or bukkit plugins from the plugin list In the panel can’t be retrieved from their databases. Unfortunately, there’s not necessarily a way to fix this besides downloading the plugin separately and then manually uploading it. If the plugins aren’t loaded, for example, if you get a red plugin instead of the green and you use the plugins command, this could be because of a missing dependency or using the wrong Minecraft version. If this happens, make sure that you’re using the right version or try and uninstall the plug in and use a replacement, since it’s unlikely for multiple plugins to be problematic. Plugins are a great way to add custom features to enhance your Minecraft experience, especially when you have other players to play with. Once the plugins are installed no additional steps are needed to get started, Unless you want to take the time to configure your plugins to suit your world even more. But this means that unlike mods, players don’t need to install anything onto their client in order to join your server. However you decide to use the plugin feature in Minecraft, you can totally change your gameplay experience, and it’s an awesome thing to play around with to see what works best for you. That’s all for this one gamers. As always, I hope you have lots of fun. Thanks for watching. If you want to see more great content like this, then subscribe, or click these videos.
