Hello buddy this is tech Hut in this video what I’m gonna be doing is showing you how to open up your single-player world to aliens so either your buddies that are hanging out at your house can join your private worlds or basically whatever you want to do before we do That we’re gonna go over a issue some people commonly have a lot of people don’t have access to that network or to join that world and it’s because of one thing of setting in your network settings so we’re gonna go to network settings actually we’ll just go to Settings and go through it that way so you can show you so from here you don’t want to go to network in the internet you don’t want to go to the Wi-Fi or internet whatever you’re using click on your network and then from here you’re gonna want to change it from public to Private now public your PC is hidden from other devices on the network and it can’t be used for printer and file sharing now that’s good to keep it like that if you’re using a laptop and you connected to like other Wi-Fi or free hotspots all the time this is a in-home Computer that I will not be connecting to other networks so I’m gonna go ahead and hit private now if you do connect to other networks quite frequently you’re gonna want to remember to switch that back that’s just a general security feature that I would actually recommend You use so once you go ahead and do that you don’t want to open up minecraft and then once everything opens up here you’re gonna want to click on play wait for everything to load up and while everything loads up I’m actually gonna show you how to find your IP address Under the search columbian wanna type in CMD that will give you the option to open up the command prompt now once you are in here there’s one thing to type in and that is to have an IP config just like that and what that will do is it Will open up a wide variety of the network settings it’s being a little slow right now because minecraft is loading but right here is where it’s important you’re going to want to go to the ipv4 address that is your local IP address for the computer that you’re Running on in order to connect if it doesn’t show up by default you don’t want to copy that and then when you actually log in well when you open up the a single-player world tool and that’s gonna give you a port so you can want to have your friend or whoever else is Opening it up to Lane you’re gonna want to connect to this IP address for now we’re gonna go ahead and close this out and wait for this to open up all right and once minecraft has fully loaded what we’re gonna want to do is go into the single-player now depending on what you Want to do you create in the world you can join an existing one whatever world you want your people that you’re connecting into the land to be able to join so I’m gonna go to this one for now and then once everything opens up we’re Just gonna want to hit escape to go to the game menu and right here you’re going to want to click open to land now here you can change a couple settings survival a lot of cheats do whatever you want to do there start land world and in Theory the person joining or the person on your local server should be able to connect with no problem now it is important to note that port number right there if it doesn’t show up automatically you’re gonna want to remember that I’ll show you where to Look at that I’m gonna save to quit to title go to multiplayer and it says scanning for games on your local network now it should show up there by default but if it does not what you want to do is go to direct connect type in your Local IP address or the IP to the computer that you’re trying to connect to and then type in that port for exists example is five five zero eight seven and then you should be able to hit join server and there should be no issue now it’s important make sure that you change That network profile to private if you ever get any pop-up dialog boxes from firewall you’re gonna want to make sure to allow access for both public and private networks and I should just about do it thank you for watching if you have any additional questions feel free to Leave them down below if this video helped you in any sort of way please throw it a like please subscribe for future videos have a great day and good bye Video Information
