How to PVP in Minecraft 1.16 | Minecraft 1.16 Melee Tutorial | Golfeh

So as many of you know um i like to use explosives and minecraft pvp um but no matter how many videos i post of crystal pvp um melee only pvp and 1.9 plus will forever be my favorite kind of pvp in this video game i grew up playing like playing this video game

With what i used to do and just play on gladius and i used to like the pvp that you’re seeing right now is what we did except it was with full prop 4 sharp 5 with gapples and pots and stuff this was what i played for like three to four years

On this game um and a lot of you are questioning how i’m so good at it even though i main crystal pvp and it’s because of that like i used to main sword only pvp because that’s like my favorite pvp of all time and 1.9 plus so

Um a lot of you have been wanting to see a mailing only tutorial so welcome to probably the only melee only tutorial on youtube for minecraft 1.9 plus pvp so uh in this video we’re going to go over four different really simple strafe tactics that you can use to get better with and

When you’re better with them you can combine them all into like big combos that you can do against people i’m going to go over my sensitivity and my dpi and um i’m going to go over how to fight laggers as well so let’s get straight into the video boys All right boys so um ferd for melee only there’s really no changes that you need to be that need to be made like at all in the general but depending on your sensitivity uh lower sensitivity for minecraft pvp in general is better uh then higher mainly because it’s easier to track

People in this game since you’re not going to be having to flick everywhere like you wouldn’t like csgo or fortnite or something um but for me i have raw and put on 27 in game sensitivity and then 1800 dpi and uh that is how i play the game all right boys so

This first strafe that we’re going to be learning today is called the stutter step um it is what i like to use a lot especially in um like op ffa and stuff um so to do this you’re going to see with my keystrokes that i usually just like repeatedly tap a w

A and d all going after my opponent this is very effective because it makes your opponent think that you’re gonna go into like a different direction when you’re not going to as you can see i’m like juking this guy out because i’m doing the the sutter step move according to my keystrokes

Um and i will go into like a better depth on how to properly do it and so let’s get right into that all right boys so with this um i did a little demo on the server that me and virtually run but um with this you can see that i am repeatedly tapping

W a and d while moving i don’t hit s at all because if i did that would be considered a desktop but that is not what this is but as you can see um my character is moving in like the same direction but vividly going back into

The opposite direction like you can see right now that i’m vividly going to the right but i keep on like moving to the left of my opponent whenever i do this the strafe is very useful because um it confuses your opponent a lot because um they’re gonna think that you’re going

Into a different direction when you’re not really going to but then when they get like a hang of what you’re actually doing with the strafe you can just switch it up and then go into like it like the opposite direction with it and do it like the opposite way that you’re doing

So um this strafe is probably my favorite strafe to do out of all four that will be demonstrated in this video boys so let’s get on to the next one all right boys we’re back and um this next strafe tactic that i like to use is called the s-tap

Uh me and virtually like to use this a lot in like apple pvp and 1.9 plus and basically what you do it’s extremely simple but i will still do like a little demonstration on how to do it after this fight shows but what you do is you hold w you usually straight line

Them but once you get better you can start going side to side with it but um while straight lining you want to completely let go of w and hold down s to stop moving your character completely or to move backwards either one works but what this does

Is it makes your opponent basically not be able to reach you i know that this was a thing in 1.7 pvp as well but 1.9 and above it’s a very dominant form of melee pvp um as you can see my opponent’s having a very hard time hitting me

But yeah that’s that’s literally all there is to it all you need to do is straight line or go side to side and release s when you’re uh when you’re done hitting your opponent and i will show a demonstration on screen right now all right boys are back with the live

Demo and as you can see with my keystrokes literally all this uh strafe takes is for you to let go of w after hitting your opponent and holding down s as you can see my character completely stops moving and moves back a little bit which is fine because this makes you

Uh this makes your opponent not be able to hit you as easily because you’re backing up out of their reach after you hit them because with the knockback uh plus you backing up it makes them makes them have a very hard time and hitting you so that is how the step

Works boys and we’re gonna move on to the w tab next all right boys we’re back with the w tab now uh the wtap is extremely simple i know for a fact that this was like one of the most common ways to pvp in 1.7 as well but it transferred over to 1.9

Plus as well but with the wtap as you can see all i’m doing every time i hit my opponent is letting go of w and then um whenever i can hit again with my sword i’m just hitting w again to go in like watch right here is a good example you can see

That no keys are hit and then when i can hit again i go in again with my sword every time i’m letting go w and it’s a very effective way to get combo on someone like right here as well this guy hit me once probably

As you can see just letting go of w every time he hit me once there and then i just moved to the side and then i just continued the wtab combo so as you can see the the wtap is like probably one of the most op ways to pvp and 1.9 plus

So again same with the s tab i will do a simple instruction all right boys so as you can see uh with this demonstration um it is a extremely easy way to pvp all you literally need to do is every time you hit let go of w completely and don’t hit any

Other button and wait for your sword to recharge then when it does recharge hold w again go in hit and repeat the process this is one of the most simple but most effective ways to pvp and 1.9 plus pvp so um we are going to move on to the

Fourth and final strafe which is the wide strafe and then um i’m going to tell you which one of these four different strafes will help you most against laggers all right boys uh these clips right here may look familiar because they were in my combo touch video but

Uh this is what the wide stripe is the live stream is literally where you just it’s like an advanced w-tap because every time you hit uh or every time you go in to hit sorry you want to hold the w and d or w and a

And then you want to let go of w completely but keep on holding the side button to make you move sideways so that your opponent can hit you as as like as well as you can see it’s a very effective way comboing um it’s probably the yeah

All of these combos i’m showing are like the easiest ways to get better but they’re still extremely good combos to learn so um yeah that’s how this combo works and now i will take it into a demonstration for you guys so let’s get right into that all right boys as you can see

All i’m doing in this demonstration is um as i said uh whenever you hit let go of w but hold your like the side moving button for like a little bit longer so that you get that extra so that you get that extra distance this is very effective because um your opponent will

Swing side to side expecting you to go there but in reality you will not be there so um yeah um that that basically wraps it up for all four combos and uh now i will be discussing which combo works best against laggers so let’s get straight into that boys

Also don’t mind the dream skin this is an alt account thank you very much for understanding all right boys so the strafe that does the best against laggers in this video is indeed the s-tap um this is so because [ __ ] off dude this is so because um you notice how the laggers take

Delayed knockback well due to that they can hit you even after you hit them expecting them to take knockback but they don’t because of their lag so because of the s-tap and you moving backwards uh you moving backwards will cause them not be able to hit you because the knockback will eventually

Kick in and plus you’re going to be moving backwards so you’re not going to be there anymore and with most laggers they like to do what’s called a knockback crit where after you hit them um they create you because of their lag so the s-tap basically negates that if you use it correctly

So a lot of you are asking how to deal with laggers you want to use the s-tap as well as crit spamming just be careful with the crit spamming because they could very well eight block you while your crit spamming and get you into a very deadly combo

So just be aware of that and uh yeah boys that basically wraps up the melee only video melee only in this recent version is extremely simple to learn like eddie came from 1.7 and within a week he was able to match people like me and melee like learning this version’s melee

Is not that hard you just need to have good aim and know what strafes and combos to use at the right time so thank you boys for watching and to wrap up this video um i am going to be putting in a fight that where i use
