Hey folks whip here and welcome back to hardcore minecraft i’ve built in the mountains and i’ve built in the caves i’ve done it 1.18 is complete we can all go home kidding it’s time to take this to the next level and keep the hype going by building the most important Thing ever our farming region today i want to create a farming paradise full of auto farms beautiful fields and happy place for animals to hop around if you’re excited please leave a like and please be sure to subscribe so you don’t miss out on an episode we’re also Nearing in on a million subscribers so that’s pretty cool but with that let’s get rocking now it’s been a little while since my last hardcore episode as i fell ill with the case of the man flu and was unable to record for quite a while but During that time i was able to get some background work done inside of this world trading with the villagers a ton and unlocking so many more villager trades especially through the librarians i was able to get full enchants on all of my gear finishing off a few pieces With protection 4 level enchantments all of our tools are up to efficiency 5 and also finally getting silk touch with the silk touch enchantment i am finally able to double my inventory size by gathering up some obsidian using some of our blaze powder and an enderman eye we were able To craft an ender chest and because i love silk touch so very much and i also love amethyst crystals i ran down into the geode and gathered up a bunch of those to use it to decorate with around our world from there i also moved all of The chests of resources i had in the cave village back up to our starter house storage system we’re all caught up now and it’s time to get farming the first thing i want to tackle today is getting a load of bees i do have a bee nest down next to the cows but Unfortunately no bees we’re off on a journey to explore the world as a 1.18 bug originally caused a mass exodus of bees it’s fixed in 1.18.1 thankfully so now we can work with bees whoa wait a second here this is where i spawn i didn’t realize i’m just on the other Side of the mountain what running through the forest i managed to find another beaneus somehow got lost and found myself under the castle so i gathered up a load of sugar cane before i ran off and spotted another bee nest on the far side of a Mountain three down and five b nests to go before we can build an auto honey farm the only problem i haven’t seen a single living bee but finally after traveling over 1 000 blocks we have a live b they’re not a myth and i must protect at all costs creating a dirt box Around the hive i wanted to wait until they all went inside to grab it no no no no no no no no no oh one got out i got on the box with the beast and waited for both of them to finally go inside the nest and there we go we’ve Got bees and five nests for ourselves going through this process two more times of creating the dirt box around some nest full of bees we now have seven hives for ourselves i then found a village and grabbed all of the hay bales from it and finally ran off to find the Eighth nest it is time to head back home and after a very long journey i threw the nest into a random barrel in the kitchen because it seemed like a great place for it got to work crafting up a bunch of stuff to build a home for our Bees and it’s time to get building well first it was time to trade with the villagers for a bunch of glass before running downstairs to trade with our stonemasons as well for me to get a bunch of bricks then off to gather up some glow lichen before coming up out of The cave to chop a bunch of dark oak trees down now it’s time to build finally creating a home for our bees themed off of the greenhouses i love to create every single time i’m working with bees i want to have three structures leaning into each other and adding into something absolutely amazing The middle being a large greenhouse and the sides being a little storage room as well as a spot for rb factory bringing in a bunch of spruce wood and deep slit in here i wanted to bring a very cool roof together for our greenhouse structure incorporating in a bunch of White stained glass over here so we can get that really cool greenhouse atmosphere that really stands out against everything else instead of just using basic default glass adding in a bunch of sprucy accents over here to make it more detailed than not we’re even incorporating some glass into the Ceiling itself instead of just along the walls then moving over to the secondary structure the smaller one of the side builds i wanted this to stand out and pop a little bit we’re working with bees after all so we can easily wax this copper down later and it kind of fits in With the vibe of why i wanted bees to begin with so an oak structure over here with a very cool little orange coppery roof i love so very much and finishing off the glass we’re moving over to the next build where we’re working with more bricks and granites over here to make This one really cool with a second layer of it being stripped dark oak logs which i think adds up very very well for the atmosphere around here before moving in finally and completing the entire roof on this guy equipped with some chimneys and some really cool stuff going on with The deepslide now as i detailed the building i had the unfortunate realization that the greenhouse section was one block too tall i wanted the factory to be the tallest building out of the three so i tore the entire roof down and moved it all down a block back To actually making some progress here i completed the inner walls of the factory with some more strippage happening before putting a large dark oak door on the build which came together very well here but things are really starting to come together across the entire build And i am super happy with this one so far and then of course because i couldn’t resist i decided to do a little bit of terraforming out front just to smooth out the landscape the final build elements going in for now of just turning the inside floor into some Rooted dirt and coarse dirt so it doesn’t look quite as terrible then in the factory i figured we’d go with some stone brick and some rooted dirt here we’ll put flowers on later for the flower farm or the bee farm and then just finishing off with a little bit of Stone and finally some lighting fixtures so it’s mod proof in here from here i wasn’t feeling all that great again so i kept busy and just kind of chilled out for a while by chopping down my entire forest of trees to clear the space for some later build projects before we can Really dive into creating that honey farm today running down to get a bit more glass for the build i got distracted and did a full round of emerald trades to stock up a bit more before running upstairs to craft a bunch of observers dispensers and hoppers we’ve got eight flowers right in there Then from here i’ll oh no no no no no go back in your hive please no oh no you want to go in there please come on buddy in your hive please well for now i can at least get these observers down the back he’s going use no you came out Okay he’s at least stuck in there for now there we go all of the bees are now in and they’re stuck and from here dispenser’s looking down and the last thing here is we just throw redstone dust along all of the top of it to get These guys started all we need to do is a sheer inside of every single one of these and lastly a hopper line poking out the side then a barrel right over here to collect it for now and a quick little harvest there with a button and We should be off to the races the last thing for now however is i need to breed these bees a bunch more so i’m just gonna get down in here we open this flip that behind us and i’ve got a bunch of rose bushes over here do you want to Bring your friends it’s a baby bee look at it oh you’re adorable normally i would be extremely nervous in this situation but we’re fine because i have a very important job creating a road to the bee farm removing the original sugar cane farm and using coarse dirt and Screw slabs to make a path before jumping down to remove all of the puzzle from the spruce trees that they had left behind i spent some more time hanging out with the bees as well to breed them up a little bit more so we could get Some more bees in the bee farm and finally finish replacing the puzzle with dirt out in the front before diving into a brand new terraforming project to add a small vineyard next to the bee farm i don’t know why but it turned out pretty cool over here bringing up the hill and Kind of smoothing everything out in this point i think it looks much better then using acacia leaves as well as spruce fences i was able to set up a small vineyard going across the entire rolling hills we had just created and i am really loving the look of this entire Place so far the sky is crying tears of happiness about an hour has went by at this point since we finished the bee farm itself i think i still need to breed up a few more of them but i want to check how much honey we have so far hey buddies How are we doing we’ve got ooh almost two stacks honestly that’s really good and we can wax this roof down before we spend too much time working in the area and at all ages actually let’s take that back to the front hey advancement now for the next Project we need to plant some more fields with one small change in this world i don’t want to have to manually harvest my fields anymore we’re going to need to enlist some villagers to help us out with this one the goal is to create villager powered carrot and potato Fields to supply our future field building endeavors so we need to build some really solid walls to keep the villagers inside and the monsters out creating flat areas and lining out some spots for houses to go for collecting everything and bringing the resources home two fields for villagers to work in And one field for decoration to balance everything out oh hi hello hi how are we doing no no no no no oh thanks that’s you guys are a great help wow boy do i hate pillagers regardless of that we’ve got three fields down here ready to go where we are gonna be Wanting a villager to be standing right inside this little box we can use villagers to auto harvest for us by throwing a mine cart down there with a hopper in it on top of another hopper and moving a block down right here and if you see me trying to toss some items Across they just end up right down here the cobblestone was a bit rough so i built up a nice little oak and spruce with a bit of deep slate on the roof for a nice farmhouse for them to live inside of now we are also going to be needing a Second one right in here so i got right back to work building up another one of those little farmhouses just as a place to safely store our villagers as they’re living and working in the farm and with the little lightning rods on top for some protection and i can’t resist so We’re gonna add some tiny little chimneys coming out of them just something like this farmhouses are done fields need to be planted and we’ve gotta move some villagers in here for this we’re gonna need a lot of powered rails come to think of it it might be Smart to make the fields first so they can at least grow a little bit with our infinite water source here ready to go it’s time to plant our carrot field and our potato field [Applause] With those in place it’s time to dig a massive tunnel from the dwarven cave all the way up to our new farming hamlet to deliver some villagers over 300 blocks long and way too many rails used in this project it’s finally time to move some villagers into their new home man let’s Hope this thing works one villagers go and two villagers please go all the way to the farm well they made it this far oh my gosh it actually worked amazing oh they’re both stuck in there though huh with some careful maneuvering here i think i can get that guy back Onto the track nope nope they’re both down come on mr farmer go into your field yes one is in nope he’s out into your field buddy yes now you’re stuck in there please villager please in the hole yes oh this worked look at them down there on their house oh they’re adorable Well you’re gonna go right in that little box behind you all the way back yep right in there thank you no no no no no no thank you thank you thank you thank you all right i think i could squeeze him around this way there now you stay in Here stay in here do the farming thing for now i’m simply going to throw a barrel underneath the hopper so we can get whatever comes into there these farms aren’t the quickest but they will get the job done for the final field of these three i wanted to do something Decorative with some peonies over here so we’re gonna need to bone meal these a lot and then we just gotta fill in some big diagonal lines there we have it all three fields are done and this one is purposely not cropped so that the villagers don’t try and run through the Wall to harvest it i am really happy with how this has turned out except i want to bring our coarser road connecting down into the village and add a few more houses in there so the villagers aren’t quite so lonely but first here i need some more gravel to Make some coarse dirt i’ve got a very broken down shovel over here a silk touch right here and with a little mending action we can make a very good shovel and repair it all up right here much better time to test this new tool out running around the caves i gathered Up every single gravel pocket i could find as we’re gonna be needing loads of coarse dirt for this project all right that should hopefully do it back above ground now i decided to lay out all of the oars i’d been collecting with the soaked touch pickaxe and chop them all Down because we are completely out of iron and gold at this point in time and i desperately need some more course dirt crafted away and filling in the spots we missed along with starting a new section of the road coming off this way and filling in everything inside our new Village square we’re building but check this out we already got our first potatoes but no carrots it’s a little tight in here but i think we could actually squeeze some more buildings along this back edge but first let’s build a well over here thinking we just Use a little bit of deep slate maybe some dark oak trap doors to help round this thing off and a very simple spruce top or we can add a little bit of extra bit around the edge here i kind of like it that’ll work from here i got started Straight away i’m building a bit of a storage room with a large spruce door on the front side using some tough stacking up some cobblestone on top of it trying to bring in the smell of our starter house then using some strip birch lug over here on the corners just to bring In a little bit more of a fun change over what we already have and then of course some cobble deep slate on the roof to bring it in line with the other style we have so far after that build i decided to add on a second build out of Again strip birchwood bringing up a little bit of retaining wall for our pathway and of course coming over here and adding in a final building being a bit of a granary and i love this area so far turning on some of the complementary shaders i had to do a little bit of a Walk through over here and wow this is just looking so fantastic don’t you run away from me give me those leads but we are not done yet the only animals currently in the kingdom are the cows and they are not happily hippity-hoppiden all over the place Before we can bring new animals in the environment we need some more fields so that we can actually breed everything the beetroot’s gonna be a little slow as i only have seven of it though but i’m thinking wheat field right over here beat root field right over here let’s do It round two starting off here with the beetroot field to get those growing i wanted to plant them down and then started working on tilling out a large chunk of land on the hillside this won’t be the easiest to harvest later on but it’ll look awesome so that’s what really Matters the most from there i ran over to get to work on the wheat field which turned into a terraforming project in itself as the land just disappeared into a cave at the tippity top so smoothing all of that stuff out with over 10 stacks of dirt i was able to finish off The wheat field and get back to planting all of the seeds down and also as well replanting the beetroot seed because all of those had grown at this point in time i broke one of the diamond hoes during all of this which was kind of a bummer But we have plenty of them after that i also went on to chop a bunch of dark oak trees down to kill some more time before finally finishing off the beetroot field as well as adding in a bunch of fences around the area our potato field is working overtime and the carrots are Kicking into gear too with all of that i’m thinking the perfect spot for our new animal friends to call home is right up here next to our starter house let’s get some materials together and get building first running down into the mines to gather up as much cobbled deep Slate as i could get my hands on as we’re gonna need a heck of a lot of the stuff unfortunately no diamonds found this time however but back up in the storage room now i crafted up an entire charcuterie board worth of different spruce and dark oak goodies for this Build from here i started lining out the shape for the barn using a lot of the build concepts from the starter house as i want to develop this upper area of on the hill into a city in the future so it all needs to look the part as a note i Want to say that i’ve been making a bunch of these builds from the series so far into tutorials and how to build them over on my second channel whip two so if you’re curious on how to build some of these things in this world i’d really Recommend you check that out i’d love to get that channel up to 100 000 subscribers so i really do appreciate it and if you want to see this barn or the bee house that we made today as a tutorial let me know down in the comments or even the little villager Houses but back to the build i wanted to add a bunch of different roof points combining together and coming together to using some awesome and really fun slopes here so there’s a lot of variety in this build especially on the top as we add contrast with three different Faces with large wooden windows made of oak trap doors to allow for airflow to happen also creating a hay loft on the second floor after that it’s not a foot build without a random tower so i stacked up one here on the back side to Help it not appear so flat serving as an access point to that secondary hay loft layer that i mentioned finally adding in a back door and then creating a few stalls for ourselves for the animals to live inside of this actual barn because that’s probably important that there’s Somewhere to hang out on the inside using a bunch of trapdoors for this to limit the amount of interior space that we’re filling up to allow for a bunch of animals to come in but after that it’s time to build a pasture for our cows to graze them that’s a bit larger than Their current wooden box and there we have it our brand new barn two animal stalls on the inside four piggies over here and probably some sheep back here and now we’ve gotta move all of our cows back here i’m sure this is gonna go so well Yeah all right buddies come on with me With our cows finally secure up here the herd looks much smaller but it’s time to move on and see how many sheepies we can wrangle up from the valley and i’m being smart this time bringing leads i’ve already taken the villagers i might as well take the pigs too and time to get Back home because it’s very dark out here oh come on piggies and now it’s raining even better oh no it’s thundering let’s see how good of a job i did lighting everything up not well Oh well i guess we just saved a villager that’s cool now everybody is happily inside hi sheepies the last animal we’re gonna need is chickens and i figured we could set up a tiny little chicken coop right over here so if we start up with some spruce post right down in here and Then the way we can actually make this an auto farm is by throwing a chest at the bottom with a hopper pointing into it we take some spruce slabs all the way around the edge upside down stairs on the front and the back a nice little Rail for the chickens to walk up from here i thought it’d be kind of cool to give the chickens access to some windows over here they’re really living it up i mean look at this view they’ve got it’s beautiful and then we should be able to Leave the front open if we put a door right there and one right up here and then to make this super simple i’m just gonna use some spruce slabs for the roof then at the top we’ll do some trap doors this way if we need to we can just Drop some chickens in here easily and if chickens do manage to get out somehow i’m gonna throw some trapdoors right along the edge i’ve got eight eggs currently can we get lucky with a chicken we did and he just walked right out okay um maybe i need to rethink that front Regardless i found another chicken so this should work great come on in buddy i spent a bit of time over here redoing the front of the barn to create a crane to move the hay up into the halo and i love it even more but now it’s time for The final project in today’s farming extravaganza a moss farm to give unlimited bone meal and all of the green goodies and i saved this spot right here in between all the fields for it so let’s get building crafting up a bunch of redstone stuff that i definitely know What it all does we’ve got pushy things we’ve got blinky things and we’ve got repeaty things so it should be totally fine and finally a few buckets of lava clearing out some space i created a large platform of stone with pistons on one end and furnaces on the other from There i got completely lost some blocks got placed down and redstone wires got connected and apparently i built a system that actually bone meals a moss block in the middle and turns the stone into moss as well and then compost all of that new stuff that comes in There somewhere and they somehow go back up to the original dispenser i supplied with bonemeal originally it’s complete magic i tell you magic you know that old saying about measure twice cut once i think that applies here measure twice build once um this thing is a lot bigger Than i thought oopsies but if we throw a bone meal inside of this dispenser and hope that i built it right flipping this lever i don’t think i built it right that that doesn’t that doesn’t look right all right take two nope that’s even worse and take three why are you Not working take i don’t even know at this point in time oh i think it’s working oh i think we did it i think we can flip stone this one and prove it a bit though that’s looking pretty good check that out next problem this dropper isn’t Working yet i can’t believe i’m the one to say this at this point but i found another solution for a simpler item elevator that i’ve used before when we built up the mines originally so i actually know how to build this one the item elevator’s in let’s see if this Works i think so this is why whip doesn’t redstone i think it’s working though and there’s bone meal it does work now that we have this thing here i just need to hide it okay yeah we can do that all right i went afk for a little while here And got a great idea for what we can use on this but that being said down here we’ve got a bit of a problem a zombie snuck in and killed the villager we gotta get a new one thankfully we do have some extras ready to go no why are you going that way Oh it’s sealed right out into the beat room field no no no no no no okay nope no stay special delivery nope nope nope nope special delivery please there he goes now before we can call this problem fixed we’ve gotta patch up the hole that The zombies are using to get in for this i’m hoping we can get silk touch yes perfect and i think a cleverly built custom tree will do the trick hey look at that he’s a farmer all right so i’ve checked the entire perimeter and the zombie got in right here very cleverly Walking forwards and just jumping in yeah i did a great job here so i think if we bring in a few oak fences as branches to really stop them from coming upwards and then we just start piling up some birch leaves around the end points i think we can get some pretty cool Custom trees over here and the only thing that can get through now is a baby zombie right on top of there see it’s always possible to make something look good in minecraft mob proofing with a tree i guess of anything they gave me a great idea on what to build over here so Let’s get to work for this build i want it to stand out as industrial in the same way that our bee farm stands out just a little bit we’re using bricks and granite blocks here for the main structure with them and aside and cobblestone for the other parts trying To create something that will contain the entire moss farm as it is pretty massive a lot bigger than i originally thought though this time we are using some dark oak details on the second floor before swapping the roof out originally with the deep slate tiles working in some stairs and slabs Together to create a really cool smooth curve to this entire thing before adding in some chimneys on top to show that this thing is actually in use and then digging out a massive area underground so that i can easily move around and turn things on and off and there we have It the bone meal moss powered farm is complete and very noisily working away our fields have been planted on the hillside and we’ve enlisted some farmers to help us gather everything up even helping some animals find their forever home inside of our brand new stables and The cow’s finally of space i hope you
