It’s been over seven months since my last Minecraft video and just about as long since I last played the game it goes without saying I needed a break but break time is over about a month ago I started getting excited about some new ideas I had from Minecraft and so I’m

Back if you’re new around here hi my name is blue jay thanks for hanging out today let’s play Bedrock We’ve been dropped in the middle of a jungle and it’s probably the largest jungle I’ve ever seen in my entire life like I said huge it’s in this jungle that I’m going to set up my first crop farm and we’re not making just any old day one crop Farm

I’m hungry this thing’s gonna be huge and we’re gonna put a jungle Twist on it but before we can do any of that we still have to do the day one stuff oh that just figures oh come on Minecraft you would spawn me right on top of a

Tree at least this is the easiest part of the uh the first step of what we need to do punch in trees okay okay okay okay okay let’s get smart about this for a minute before we do the rest of that let’s actually do this let’s get a

Crafting table let’s do that and let’s do that oh look at how smart we are oh it’s like we haven’t even skipped a beat you know what I didn’t forget how painfully slow wooden tools are it’s gonna take us until sun down to get through this one tree it’s the longest

See that right after getting organized I thought it would be a good idea to get some more resources I need coal and I need Cobblestone so I can upgrade to the next set of tools stone tools and it’s a good thing I upgraded because right when

Do what we did before and boom no need to panic let’s just go hide we’ll go hide in here we’ll sleep after a good night’s rest I decided that stone tools were not gonna cut it long term so we started our quest for iron I haven’t found any iron yet I’ve been mining for like 20 minutes and I’ve found no iron hopefully my luck will change here shortly and just as we speak it it it it it it appears oh one piece of Iron’s not gonna do us any good but you know what it’s a

Start let’s just be careful I imagine there might be some more iron somewhere in this direction I don’t like the look of that guy here we go oh that’s too close to too close for comfort maybe we craft a chest plate before we go any farther Oh that was too close let’s not go back over there yet Hey that’s more like it so I finished crafting my iron tools and armor and I ran into an ancient city and I know what you’re thinking we should go in nope that seems like a better option and while we’re fishing I want to put this challenge to you guys this is the very

Early game I feel pretty good we’ve got some iron tools some iron armor we’re pretty well set on that front we’ve also got a starter crop Farm set up here and I know I said I wasn’t gonna do a small crop Farm but we did a temporary small

Crop Farm just to get our crops built up we need a bit of a stockpile so that when we get around to building the actual crop Farm today which we’re gonna do very soon we’re gonna have more than enough to fill up the entire Farm I hope

I don’t know about you guys but after breaking and planting crops for about the hundredth time I need a break I’m getting close to having all the crops I need to fill the farm but I still need some additional resources to make that happen I’m going to build a jungle

Ruined themed farm and for that I need a variety of stone materials and we’re in luck because I’m digging out the entrances to our Branch mines that’s right multiple mines one at Diamond level and one at iron level so I’m gonna go mining for a while and we’ll gather

Up everything I need for these amazing jungle ruins ooh this is worthy of a quick progress update we’ve got the branch mine started uh this is gonna be our ladder up and right at the at the bottom of the ladder we found some diamond s on our first find I’m not mad I’ve now cleared out a bunch of space for our farm and we’re gonna go from this little 9×9 Square here uh to fill in this area over here and put a bunch of jungle ruins around it and what we’re gonna do to kick it off we’re actually

Gonna dig down we’re gonna go down one two here and do a little bit of a three by three square around the center point of where our farm is gonna be and then in each direction we’re gonna go nine this way and then nine this way nine

More this way and nine more this way and then we’re gonna dig the top layer off of these until we meet up with the outer edges of the perimeter that we had set up earlier and that I forgot because we’re gonna be replacing all of the

Blocks down here on the ground level we need to dig everything out one more down so we’re gonna do it all again once we have everything dug out in every direction we should have 18 blocks going in each Direction nine blocks on one layer nine blocks on

Another and then on these top sections here we’re actually gonna dig these out as well but it’s not going to be a square so we’re not going to meet up the points from edge to edge we’re actually going to round this off and the design style that we’re going for is a little

Bit like if you know what Stonehenge is in England it’s going to be kind of like that but just a jungle version and I think that could be pretty fun Foreign Before we continue on we have a guest and he’s destroying the place before we’ve even finished it so before we finish this we’re gonna we’re gonna dismiss him from our property oh no where’d he go and then before we fix that up we’re actually just gonna slab

All the way around the edges anywhere there’s a transition of a block higher than the Farmland so we don’t have that problem anymore I don’t want to have to come in here and fix this every five minutes hey there we go that’s much better Foreign What did I tell you what did I tell you this was not gonna be your ordinary day one crop farm and man did we meet that accomplishment look at the size of this thing it’s huge now we haven’t put any of the crops in the actual Farm yet

We’re gonna get to that but I did want to go ahead and start building the ruins and while we’re doing that I just want to tell you this story behind the jungle ruins begins with an ancient civilization of farmers who believe that they could unlock the doorway to another

Realm this realm was believed to hold a great power and the farmers wanted to harness this power so that they could control all of the agriculture in the entire world and so they built these doorways around the crop farms and little did they know the doors that they

Built would lead to something far beyond their ability to control and and that’s why that ancient civilization is an ancient civilization they’re not here anymore now one thing I want to say before we actually build more of these around the place we are going to build

Some big some small some crushed on the ground and we’re gonna start with just a flat palette like this so that we can go in here and kind of crack some out and be like hey let’s put some mossy cobblestone there and then maybe we’ll go in and have a transitionary block

Like this and a site it’s not quite cracked but it’s not quite Stone so it kind of provides a nice little transition maybe we’ll put some stairs or some slabs on top or bottom of some of these blocks just to kind of smooth it out a little bit we’re going to rough

Them up we’re going to make them look really cool and I hope you guys enjoy the outcome so let’s get cracking and after what seemed to be a couple hours of work we no longer need this crop Farm because we have that crop Farm this turned out way better than I

Expected I mean just look at this 360 view right here we can look around and see a jungle ruins everywhere these all are very reminiscent of nether portals and I love the vibe that’s going on here let’s actually get a bird’s eye view of this oh yes that’s so good oh my

Goodness all right so let’s not mess around anymore we’re gonna go ahead and start planting some crops in each of these quadrants and or not we have enough uh seeds and crops to plant here it’s looking like we’re gonna run out pretty fast and I know I

Know I know before any of you say anything in the comment section because I know there’s somebody you’re just gonna be that guy you’re not supposed crops right next to each other because they’ll grow slower we are going for fun over functionality here who cares if they grow at the fastest rates possible

This is just gonna look insanely cool when it’s done the only other thing that we haven’t made considerations for yet is when it gets dark I’m not sure that I want to light this up I don’t want to ruin the vibe but I’ll think about it if

Today and there you have it folks the episode one jungle ruins crop Farm is fully complete we’ve got some jungle trees that we bone milled into place and we actually ran out of bone meal so we didn’t get a chance to add very many trees but we’re gonna expand out this

Way anyway so we’ll get to that another time and then the other thing that I did is I took some barrels and I placed them around the perimeter of the farm so we can easily access our materials to use either for food for ourselves or food for some animals which we’re gonna need
