I Built the Largest Storage System in Minecraft

We have been building everything here without a storage system and if you’re a guy like me that is not a very good idea so today we are going to be building a super massive storage system that will sort every single item in the game you can have mass storage it’s going to have

Regular storage and it’s going to be hopefully lag friendly we’ll see about that First off before we get anything started we’re gonna have to find a place to build it and we have chosen to build it inside of the base we’ve been building for the past couple of episodes because it’s just it’s just the best place to

Put it i guess so the only way we can put it here is actually by digging a hole which we will be doing in a bit first we’ll have to talk about what i’m actually planning on doing for it i want to go with kind of like an underground

Kind of lab it’s gonna the outside of it’s gonna be overgrown it’s gonna be kind of futuristic and i i think it’s gonna turn out really cool my job will be to uh design and build the massive hull and everything in it and then once

I’m done with that i will need to help the storage system that that just will be doing that brings us to the next point materials how are we going to get all these materials so fast well we got a couple farms here that help hopefully

Going to help us out first off we got the shulker farm uh it’s kind of small but it gets the job done so we’re going to need a lot of shulkers for this to work now moving on to the next farm we actually have this iron farm here this

Creates little iron except it runs 24 7 so it actually creates quite a bit of iron for us okay the wood farm as usual we will also be using that is it broken finally the last farm of course is the uh pig and bartering farm we don’t need to

Talk much about that the storage system was designed by cubic meter i’ll leave his link down the description you can go check it out if you want to build it yourself i would get all the materials right now but we gotta dig this fat hole first so uh

We’re gonna go ahead and do that now so let’s let’s get right to it [Applause] So How much material do we need for this well a lot storage systems are very big and uh require a lot of materials especially if you want to make it super fast and like friendly like what we’re doing what cubic meter did so we’re going to be

Building with all that stuff in it which requires a lot of material so we’ve actually gone ahead and divided two jobs one will be designing and getting materials for the top and the other will be materials for the bottom i have actually taken the job for the top and designing because i’m

I’m kind of okay at it and then that just will be getting materials for the bottom all this here it’ll fill all these holes here’s a little representation of how much material we actually need for this so this is one slice we need 64 of these

For one wing which there’s four wings so that’s about if i do my math correctly you need about four stacks of every single item you’re seeing there which takes a very long time to get so yeah anyway that’s that’s kind of a little representation of just the bottom part

Now top part is a little bit more understandable we just got to decorate a hole yeah that that’s it so yeah let’s we’re just going to get started we’re going to go ahead and gather materials up now so let’s let’s do that now Oh [ __ ] you can’t see them materials are gathered second excuse me okay the these are the materials that we have gathered uh there’s a lot they’re all full yeah these are just it’s just for the bottom here the top part here we have these materials here too right there so these

Will just uh outline the inside and have a little like lab over it you know after this we still have a lot more work to do first of all we gotta build it once we’re done with that we actually need to gather every single material in the game

Which is gonna be fun very fun and then we’ll put it on the storage system and we’ll be done with the thing so uh first off uh before we do anything else i think we should build this because i mean isn’t this place looking a bit

Empty i mean sure to have something yeah we’re gonna fill it up so uh let’s let’s start building Foreign [Applause] So Well um looks like uh we’re done the whole base except for this part i don’t want to do this right now we’ll do it later uh yeah we’re done for the base for now it’s episode three that’s the last one we’ve actually gotten all these sorted all of our items are in here

That’s pretty cool i’m just gonna do a basic run through of how this thing works so uh let’s go ahead and do that oh yeah and also we do not have the uh bulk storage working right now so we’re just gonna stick to this okay let’s

Recam see what this does this is a shulker you put your loose items in here you put shulkers in here let’s just do quick okay and then it comes down here i’m gonna zoom all the way here to the storage on top it stores all the shulkers okay then it comes down here

All the way down to here it’ll get placed above and then broken uh immediately and then this minecart will pick up the very first item inside and then it will come down here all these chests has every item in the game so this is going to come all the way across

Here and it’s going to pick up whichever item that it has from that shulker out of these chests on top and then the and then the system will detect which chest it took it out of and then it will down here it will put the item back into the

Choker and then it will come back across here and it will place the item back into its corresponding area and then it will span it will send the choker to its uh right column where it will start emptying so then once it comes down here it will get placed here it will empty

All the dirt out the shulker box here and then it will go right back around to the start which is right here right back around and then it goes in the loop until there are no shulker boxes left okay and then it comes down here it will

Actually come out in uh bits of either 30 60 or 10 and then this is going to come over here this will actually uh bring it all out evenly so bring it like stacks out evenly okay and then also up here it will drop in certain areas so

These are all the box storage this is all the lower storage so then it will put it in a certain like place on this water path down below which will then come hit here and then it will separate it into two little sections so then it

Will either fall down here to the lower storage or stay up here and go to this storage which said it will come all the way through all the way around until it goes back to here which will be the output that was a lot that was a lot of

Talking okay so um what’s the deal with this well we actually have the double speed emptying and then we have uh yeah we have the shulker storage so this one this will fill up and then once these above it fill up right here and gets to this uh repeater nope

Comparator it will uh break the shulker and replace it and then it will just come store in these chests and then once all these chests are full it will pop out of here and then it will go to the bulk storage which is right over here

Which we actually haven’t set up yet but yeah this thing’s massive and actually that that that that just that’s just about it and that’s i think a good place to leave off this video if you did end up enjoying make sure to leave a like and subscribe
