I Survived 1,600 Days in HARDCORE Minecraft…

Today i finally drain an entire ocean monument and this allows me to build the fastest xp farm in my world i also tame a pillager so instead of upsetting villagers he’s now quite friendly and i managed to get the extremely rare brown panda although i’m i’m not actually sure it

Was worth all the hassle but first i’m gonna put a timer on the screen and see just how fast i can get two more notch apples and i’m gonna portal travel so i can go a further distance from home faster it seems like as good a place as

Any to build a portal and it has taken me over 40 000 blocks away and straight to a ruined portal which could have had a not chapel but it doesn’t the real best place me to look is going to be desert pyramids and there’s my first one and to be honest it

Doesn’t seem to really have anything abuse the second one has also been terrible so bad that i’m just gonna blow it up there’s the third one and there we go the third one had one okay the time is still going found the first one after just under 15 minutes now i’m gonna try

And find a tenth one i finally found another desert i’ve been searching for ages but you don’t want to get in diamonds but let’s see if we get anything actually useful here no not really okay let’s just take the diamonds anyway at least then i’ll have something

To burn later on oh my goodness more diamonds i don’t know why i’m taking them okay i know they’re for peasants and apparently when you don’t want something it becomes very easy to get still searching still having no success okay i do not know how this tnt did not just blow up then

One of these pandas and it’ll help me to sit don’t die you stupid panda but after a few attempts that will then let me see which panda carries the word gene i will be continuing this project later but for now i’m not going to spend ages and ages

Breeding ponders instead i have good news i’ve looked at the footage and have worked out where my treasure shulker box is it was at my bartering farm so yeah i’m very glad that i found that that means i can now replace these diamond blocks and these two beacons the next

Thing i’d like to do is capture a pillager because if you didn’t know pillagers are actually a mob that can be tamed although i should probably turn off the mob switch first and actually the best way to do that is just going to be to save an exit since that will then

Stop all of the trunk loaders from working is a pillager that’s taken a bit of interest in me he will be the one i choose i also have to be very good at dodging his arrows because if he hits me my thorns will hurt him actually to be

On the safe side i’m going to take off all my armor i’d like to welcome this guy to my house if we get in a boat together i’m pretty sure he can’t hit me and once he’s shot his crossbow 250 times it will break this could take some

I think today is going to be the day the day that i finally finished draining this monument i’m just going to drive this section here there we go completely drained and i can use my torches to remove all this gravel and then it’s back to placing a bit more gravel and

That’s another row complete and i’m going to do this last row with sand so that i don’t mix it up with the walls i’ve finished draining this layer which means i’ve only got this section left and this mammoth project will finally be over and now this section is also

This guy i’m gonna build this house right here kind of on the outskirts of town and one of the materials that i’d like for this build is dark oak logs i also think blackstone will be useful and stone bricks let’s start by placing some of these cracked polish black stone

Bricks that’s a bit of a mouthful isn’t it and on top of that normal black stone bricks then pillars of dark oak logs now i can use normal bricks as the walls we’re gonna need a few stairs along like this and then i’m gonna use red nether

Brick for the floor and i think it’d be better if the house was one block wider and i’d like glass to be placed in the center and the windows can be red let’s also add some beams like so and i think doing this could make a really good roof

Coming along nicely but i’ve run out of the red bricks and i need more netherwart to grow so instead i’m going to build the area underneath here so let’s start digging out all of this and add white concrete around the edge this white concrete is going to continue down

Here where i will then add an oak block floor and a few torches let’s also grab a couple of beds and place one there and one over here there can also be a nice little fireplace down here and if i had a carpet that means that i can walk out

But the thing that’s living here won’t be able to and that thing is going to be a villager now he’s in here and as you can see he he cannot leave and what’s better than one villager two villagers i’m gonna have to wait till tomorrow for

The other villager to come but in the meantime let’s put an iron door right here with a button right here and also one right there let’s also add a carpet border around here and using stairs i can do this and make a stone brick ceiling right there here comes the

Second villager and the downstairs is completely done now i just want to try and get this pillager over there the problem is that he now doesn’t care about me it won’t follow looks like we’re doing this the hard way now the only issue is i’ve got to get this guy

From down here up to there i’m going to do that using pistons and levers all we have to do is go like this and repeat it a few times and i need to dismantle the front of the house so that we can drive him in oh we got stuck again take two

This time okay we’ve got carpets to get over now we are officially in and welcome pillager oh my goodness there’s a hole right there as i was saying i’d like to welcome this pillager to his new home he’s kind of roommates with villagers it lives just above them now on these front

Parts i’d like to dig a little bit of a trench and add some lava along here let’s add this along the sides with trap doors going into it and then with the roses on top and the same thing on this side i have to say i’m quite impressed

With the finished result i just need to finish the roof although all of this is still not ready to be harvested but i’m gonna do it anyway i only got 13 extras so it definitely wasn’t worth it although it did allow me to make four more stairs i always say progress is

Progress completely used to pull the dark oak wood so i’m just going to get a load more two and a half stacks is definitely more than enough the next thing i need to do is create some more armor because when i’m dealing with hostile mobs that i want to keep alive

The thorns is very very annoying so i just need to make a spare set that doesn’t have any thorns on it and of course it has to be completely maxed out i managed to get everything to be protection before except for the chest plate but if i head down here i have a

Prop 4 book in this chest which can then be easily unveiled that’s also by mending four times an aqua affinity and unbreaking and then all of that can be unveiled together as well all these are maxed except for feather falling and soul speed 3. i can buy feather falling

From this guy and soul speed from the piglens and once we handle that together grab some nether eye ingots and turn it into netherright gear it is now completely maxed out just without thorns and be safely placed in this shulker box and i think it’s now time i tackled my

Next project which is to start draining the inside of this monument hopefully it’s not gonna be too difficult of a task i have to say doing this is much much easier than doing the outside turns out there’s loads of sponge in this monument that i’ve never found before

That’s always a nice thing to find i’ve definitely managed to drain most of it now i’ve just got to track down the bits that i haven’t drained generally speaking it’s just one-off rooms and now i’m pretty sure that that is completely done can’t believe that part of the

Project is finally over it’s taken so long the next thing i need to do is head back home craft lots of torches and then completely light this place up and i think i’ve now completely covered everywhere in torches the last thing i’d just like to do is light up all the

Areas underneath the monument look at this is the fish they’re safe from drowning i think it’s time we now began building the farm and i’m kind of excited because i think this is going to be the fastest farm that i’ve ever built even faster than my pigmen farm i’m kind

Of making this one up as i go along as well so it could definitely go wrong i’m going to be using bubble columns so i need to get a few more items i’m definitely going to need a lot of kelp for it and at some point i’m going to

Need a lot more powdered snow which is why i’ve gathered up over five stacks of cauldrons and i’m going to place them all down so that next time it starts snowing i’ll definitely get all the powdered snow i need there we go they’ve now all been placed and i won’t be doing

Any sleeping since that resets the weather cycle now to continue with the projects i’m going to be placing all this here and also dig out another layer i’m also going to add a haste to beacon down here just to try and speed things up and there we go and that has indeed

Made things way way faster now i’m adding a glass wall to the chamber there we go it’s completed at the bottom and now i just need to continue it upwards it’s getting there but i’ve run out of glass thankfully i’ve still got loads more left although to make sure i

Definitely don’t run out i’m going to grab these shulker boxes of sand turn on the minecart and place all of these up here now it’s back to placing glass now that we’re at the correct height i’m going to build some portals up here and i’m going to fill up the sides a little

Bit more and add a roof right here next i want to begin work on the water sources the easiest way to do that is just going to be to use kelp and now this tank has been completely filled we’re going to add a layer of glass along here then i’ll light both these

Portals and add a strip of water along here then i’ll add glass all along here i think there also needs to be a piece of water right here so yeah it’ll fully push the guardians into the portals time to repeat the same thing on the other side and the guardian chamber on this

Side is also coming along very well now that is complete i’m going to add the obsidian portals and start adding the water and the final bit to do is just add some water here so that we’re gonna get the flowing next i just need to correctly link these portals took quite

Some time but i’ve built a chamber that goes all the way down here we’re gonna put some slabs at the bottom and right here we’re gonna have two more portals at the bottom and some lava here that will take out any stray guardians that managed to get past this portal now i’ll

Just need to do the same thing on this side i’ve just come back and it is now raining so this is a perfect time for me to try and get powdered snow i’m gonna afk here for a bit and see how much i get so i waited here till it finished

Snowing unfortunately i haven’t got enough powdered snow that i need but there is at least a few here to get me started in fact four in total so far plus an extra one in here and i can grab more powdered snow from here it actually

Had a lot more than i expected i only need 10 more just realized i miscalculated and i actually need 88 powdered snow this is gonna take longer than i expected so in that case i’m going to take all the iron that i have and start turning it into cauldrons i’m

Pretty sure that i should have enough now i’m just going to get placing and the mission to place them all down has successfully been accomplished i look forward to the next time that it snows as well as waiting to get loads of powdered snow i did also build this room

Down here that connects to this portal as you can see from all the guardian remains something’s working as the guardians will fall down here the powder snow is good what’s going to stop them from all dying and they’ll come back through these portals i’ve also put

Glass panes all the way down and so now to build the chamber for the guardians the one item i would like some more of is some dark prismarine which can be crafted with ink sacs i’m starting to think that it might actually be useful

For me to build a squid farm so if i go like that and then put this in the middle there we go we’ve got dark prismarine i could probably just do that with with the roses rather than exactly though and that’s going to be placed along here and i’d also like to place

These bricks behind the bottle these pillars could be sea lanterns we’re going to need some stairs which are going to be right here and they’re going to be waterlogged i’m going to place water here and water here you’ll see it’ll just flow into there and right

Here is going to be where the collection system is i always have to mine up these diamonds even if they are for peasants they can go in this treasure box for later let’s also put some trap doors along like this and there’s going to be iron ones along here next i’m going to

Need some glass one stack should be enough whilst i’m here i might as well grab my wither roses so right here we’re going to place a load of glass with trapdoors above that and then weeping vines underneath these are going to stop the guardians from all entity cramming

If they did that they’d take damage i also want to head through here and see if there’s many shards to be obtained look at this guardians are falling and we’re collecting the loot not exactly how the farm’s supposed to work but it’ll do with these new items i can

Make more dark prismarine and surround this little chamber with it i can even make some stairs and put those right here like that although that is a little small so i’m going to change those to be slabs and instead the stairs can go in the corners next let’s make a few rails

Some hoppers come to a slight issue the bedrock’s in the way of where the hoppers need to be although i’m pretty sure i can still make this work we’re gonna place rails along here and the corners are gonna have to be powered rails so they stay in a straight line so

The best way to do this is to place one minecart like that then one like that that slightly moves and then the final one and that will kind of cover all of the blocks which means that even though there’s some bedrock underneath it it’s not going to affect them and already

Items are filtering into this chest let’s make this dark prismary now make some slabs place both of them right here then i’ve got a little area where i can stand to take out the guardians and that’s pretty much it i think the farm is ready well it will be ready once i

Get the powdered snow anyway whilst i wait for the snow i’m gonna make some more shulker boxes and get a load more buckets as well i think it’s about time i got rid of this portal now besides there’s no point having these cauldrons here instead they belong here my iron

Farm really has given me so so much so i’m going to make even more cauldrons i think i’m getting a little bit addicted just kind of look beautiful i think i’m going to harvest more another what which got me quite a bit more which could be

Crafted into quite a few more of these which can be used to complete more of this roof progress is slow but i suppose any progress is good progress something that’s gonna be useful for the guardian farm is splash damage to get those i’m gonna need a load of spider eyes so i’m

Going to make a spider farm as it happens somewhere down here i do actually have a spider spawner here it is right around this corner i believe somewhere down here it’s entirely possible that i broke the one that was right here oh no never mind it’s actually below me let’s light up this

Spawner and next i need to dig out a massive room around it i have to say chiseling everything out is very very fast when you’ve got haste now i just need to add water all the way along here this is going to flow onto magma underneath the magma is going to be a

Hopper minecart system which means i’m going to have to knit back home and get some rails four powered ones and a few normal ones too so we’re gonna do something like that and get a hopper there and those connecting pretty standard stuff if you ask me and under

Here i can create a little storage system let’s patch up this hole in the roof place blocks above the spawner and then remove all the torches place stairs like this set off my minecart hopper and place the magma and just watch the loot flowing i’ve come to the realization

That this system is extremely inefficient a better system is going to be to have water right there and water right here which will then push the spiders to here and here we have design version two so we’re gonna just place blocks all along here then i can remove

All of these torches when the spiders spawn they’ll come along here and flow down there then we’ll end up right here where i can take them out i just dug a chamber so now i just need some kelp then i can place water here and also

Water right here with torches next to it so it doesn’t become ice now let’s place redstone blocks on the sides like this and place iron trap doors on them now i’m going to add loads of kelp i have to say that does look kind of cool it looks

Like there’s no water here which is very strange if we do that it’ll come back then we’re going to add this and this and we’ve got ourselves a nice little water elevator so now that this farm is working extremely extremely well and it is now snowing okay i didn’t

Expect that i was about to say something completely different but since it is snowing i’m gonna chill here and hopefully get the powdered snow that i need all these buckets are ready just waiting to be filled they’re already starting to fill so i want to keep on

Top of this and once it’s finished snowing i’m gonna go and do some panda breeding that brown panda can’t escape me forever i did nice to get loads of powdered snow i’ll show you that later but i’ve done loads and loads more selective breeding and i have a load

More mutants and i think i can now release the pandas from the boats and start trying to get the brown panda and i’m also going to separate out all the weak pandas you know without killing them instead i’ll just lead them into here and i think that this is the final

Weak panda to come in here now all the pandas are released i’m going to try and mix them all up and randomly breed them all and hopefully we get some brown ones eventually by doing this because the way i’ve done this mostly fan is either have

The normal gene the brown gene or the weak gene and i do need to get rid of all the offspring that is not a brown panda so about one in four of these pandas are going to have the brown panda gene and they need to get lucky and

Breed two of those together and then one in four times if those two bring together you get a brown panda so you know it’s this is just such a difficult thing finally we have got one we have got the brown panda and we got two oh my goodness we got two

Okay fine i tell you what that is what are the chances again two in one thing so i guess that now means that the saga is over i can i can finally stop breeding pandas look we can put these two together there we go all these random pandas that i have hidden around

They can all be released from their cages and they can come outside and the same goes for all these pandas that were trapped up here they shall all be released into the jungle yep pandas are definitely not an endangered species anymore and i’ll be back for these two

Brown pandas later because right now i’ve got a guardian farm to finish so here’s all the powdered snow that i’ve managed to gather up i’ve got 49 so far i need 88 in total so i’m just gonna have to wait for more snow but there’s

Still things that i can do on this farm that is all the powdered snow that i need for one side i’m just going to replace all these bricks put back the glass and drift me way down i’d just say guys things are getting very very cold i

Am actually taking damage here yeah i didn’t think this okay maybe i did think it through and the next thing i want to do is light up the area as much as possible so that only guardians will spawn i think i’m gonna have to turn the mob switch off because otherwise it’s

Hard for me to know where the mobs are spawning and i just realized the easiest way to do that is just to save and quit the world and if i fly up really high and come back down you can see yeah there is there is guardians in this tank

They are uh going to get pushed along once he stops trying to swim against the current it gets pushed along into the portal and if i just drop down here i can see if it’s working or any guardians are coming through seems like a lot of guardians have fallen down that side but

I don’t see any on this side i’ve had one guardian come through so far in fact here’s another one i think the big issue here is that only one chamber is working but i’ve got a plan to sort that i’m going to place four blocks here so the

Guardians only have one way to go i’m going to add a little bit more powdered snow here just to slow them down that little bit more now it’s time to see if it works any better i’ve done a little bit of testing and i’ve realized quite a

Few things i thought i only needed 22 pieces of powdered snow but i’m actually going to need 30 forks as you can see they’re not going through the portal because they’re falling too quickly so that’s gonna make getting all the powdered snow even harder and guardians

Also only have a five percent chance of spawning underneath the sky so i need to change this glass to be solid blocks and put like slabs all the way around this as well to make it dark otherwise the spawn rates would just be too slow but i

Don’t really want to do any of that until i get more powdered snow otherwise i’d just be overrun with guardians first things first activate the mob switch and getting rid of this golem will activate the iron farm i might as well pick these up and take them to the cauldron area

Instead and i’ll be back for this later to get more iron and more cauldrons let’s place down these extra 24 and whilst the wait for the rain i’m going to focus on doing more spawn proofing which means grabbing a load of torches an entire shulker box of torches to be

Exact yeah that should definitely be enough before i go to the monument let’s just grab this iron you don’t need me to tell you what i’m doing with these and now let’s fly to the monument and place a ridiculous amount of torches on the ground everywhere i could probably do

This in a way more organized fashion i should probably do it in strips shouldn’t as well as that i’m also going to search all the little caves in the area and make sure they’re all well lit up it’s gonna take a while but i’m just gonna stick at it until it starts

Raining then i shall have more of my powdered snow whilst i was spawn proof in the area it did start raining so these are now filling with snow so i’m gonna keep myself in this hole until the snow stops it is still snowing but whilst it is i’m gonna start picking up

Powdered snow i do seem to have got quite a lot of it but whether it’s going to be enough i’m not sure so i’ve managed to fill up one two three shulker boxes and i’ve completely run out of buckets so i’m gonna quickly head back

Home grab a load more buckets and then i can fill even more of them up it has also now stopped snowing i’m pretty sure i’ve got enough powder snow it is now dark so i’m gonna go to sleep as much as placing all these cauldrons was a little

Overboard i think it was worth it also just before i finished the guardian farm i could do with grabbing some carrots and some gold and creating a load of golden carrots and all these carrots should be enough next i’m going to activate the mob switch since having

Loads of mobs everywhere would just be annoying next i’m going to move this portal to make the chamber higher so the portal is going to go right here now i’m going to grab the powdered snow and place columns of 33 on each side there we go that is one side complete i can

Place glass all around on this side and i’ve already placed most of the powder snow on this side but these two are a little bit low down and i need to bring these ones up higher and there we have it i even got loads of powdered snow to

Spare let’s light the portal add more glass and then get out of here next i want to go home and grab a few resources a few resources to make a chunk loader that’s all the items i’m gonna need i’m gonna build the truck loader right here and i’m hoping it doesn’t interfere with

Those portals there we go this truck loader is complete now i’m gonna place a load of scaffolding and i could climb up to the top but that’s going to take forever so i’m going to fly and now i’m going to build another chunk loader right here there we go that’s done i’ll

Quickly check that the portal is properly linked up and they do they work fine which means i can chuck an item in there and uh it’s it’s going to be working all the time is action loader i’m starting to get very very close to being complete but i do need to replace

All of this glass with stone bricks there we go now the same thing on this side perfect and now i’m going to add a big slab roof around it which is going to get me more guardians through pack spawning this side is done and this side is also done you’re probably wondering

What else could i possibly need to make this guardian farm work but one thing i’m gonna do is add some glass here then grabbing some water and placing it right here from this i can add some glass walls around it next i’m gonna fly back home and grab some magma and soul sand

And whilst i’m in the neighborhood i might as well harvest this and fly back to the monument place down signs for all the water place these down then take some kelp and add it going all the way up and then when it’s broken and i put

The magma back i can use this to go up and down i feel like you guys want to see this guardian farm in action let’s let’s see if it works first i’m going to drop the render distance to b4 and then i’m going to reload the world so that it

Turns off my mob switch and in theory now guardians should be spawning if you look at the m on the left you’ll see that number rapidly changing and here we go the guardians are now coming through and look at how many they are guys this is ridiculous this is why this farm

Setup is so good using portals and the powdered snow right now we have 300 400 400 wait we might even get to 500. yeah this is gonna break my game 523 monsters in this world so you know most of them are going to be guardians i

Can’t really take them out of my sword because of their thorns effect it does give me a bit of damage so you know like right now i can do that and and we’re taking them all out and it is working but i couldn’t afk here you know it

Would just it would just keep hurting me if i did that over and over again so instead there has to be a better way and that is where all these spider eyes are going to come in because using splash damage will let me take out all four 500

Of them at once so let’s get on with it i’ve managed to make 30 which should be enough for now now we go back to the monument and let’s see how well this works already we’ve got loads of guardians waiting for me well over 300

So now if we go like this and throw it like that as you can see it takes them all out pretty much all of there’s a few stragglers left and i’m just collecting up that beautiful xp and whilst i’m collecting the xp new guardians are spawning and going down the powdered

Snow and then they start appearing and it gets crazy i still haven’t finished collecting all the xp and there’s already another 400 right here so if i go like that and there we go suddenly we’ve got even more xp to collect and the reason this is faster than the pigment farm is

Because the type of bulbs that the guardian give you are worth more so you can process more xp faster from guardians so yeah this is technically the fastest xp farm in my world and the best way to make this af cable would be to add a machine that gives me a new

Potion every minute as you can see we have completely maxed out the storage system already i probably need to make a bigger one so yeah i’m just going to keep gathering up xp from this farm i think i’ve spent enough time at this farm now it is kind of cool getting so

Much fish but i’m not going to use it i could trade it for emeralds but i’ve got a rage farm so i don’t really need it i will make this fully afk at some point using a proper redstone system and everything but that’ll probably be in

The next episode i could have an auto brewing and everything it could be really really cool one thing i noticed from making all the instant damage is that i don’t have enough brown mushrooms oh my goodness there’s a creeper in me i’m gonna be more careful if this goes

Wrong he will take out my dogs don’t you dare blow them up oh my goodness okay we’re all safe as i was saying i need more mushrooms and what do i do when i need something well i just get a completely infinite amount of them by farming them although saying i’m gonna

Get an infinite amount is maybe being a little bit generous since mushrooms do take quite a long time to grow i have just about everything i need the only thing remaining is some mycelium and also podzol although i would like a stack of that thankfully i can grab some

From here pretty easily and just replace it with dirt first things first i think this is the kind of farm i want to build underground and doing it at the edge of this bamboo farm seems like a good idea it’s also annoying that i don’t get the

Haste effect whilst over here so i’m gonna grab a load more iron and with that i’ll make a new beacon there we go and before i forget i’m also going to grab a load of slime and then i can turn all these into sticky pistons now i can

Mine much faster and get building this right here is where i’m going to have the chests let’s add some hoppers running into them then i’m going to put some stairs over these chests and i’ll fill in the rest of this when i have the blocks this is going to be an extremely

Long chamber 64 blocks to be exact that’s the tunnel dug out um this is actually part of my house so i’ve got to be a little bit careful here i’m going to add in all the observers the pistons the mycelium and bring this farm together and the mushroom farm is now

Done there’s mushrooms all the way along here and also underneath this block all the way along there and then anytime one of these mushrooms spread it will activate the observer which will activate the piston for a split second and just move this block to break the mushroom and then the hopper minecarts

Will pick them up so let’s seal that up and leave it to it i have got a few mushrooms in here but they’re not from the farm i i just have extra mushrooms so that farm down there is kind of the afk method but i also found a really

Good way to get mushrooms fast by mining i just do something like this and bone meal the mushroom and you’ll see with this axe i mean look at the sheer speed that the act breaks everything and from bone meal in that one mushroom we got another 15 16 19. so yeah that’s a

Pretty cool option if i need loads of mushrooms fast i’m also going to grab some leather create an item frame and then right here i can place it with a mushroom in the middle i think it just makes sense and the rest of these brown mushrooms can go in there hopefully the
