I Turned the End Into a Mega-City…

My end island is pretty lame I mean yeah I have my concrete Factory and my tree Factory but on the main island itself it’s pretty Barren so in this episode we are going to turn it into a massive Mega City complete with everything one could need to live comfortably in the end so

Let’s go the first thing I want to do is build a big circle around the island because the shape is kind of weird right now and I want to have it be more like uniform I guess so I have a bunch of concrete here and we’re just gonna build

A circular border around the island okay Okay now that we have our Circle done I have a bunch of beacons here what we’ll do next is we’ll just cut away any of the island that’s on the outside of the circle and then fill in any of these gaps so that the island is more or less

A complete circle so let’s first set up a bunch of beacons All right now let’s get mining Foreign Completely circular now next what I’m gonna do is I’m gonna make kind of a black band that wraps around the island here so that it looks more uniform because we have these big chunk holes taken out from where there’s just no Terrain in the first place so let’s load

Up on Black concrete and get building okay the last thing we need to do is flatten out these edges and kind of fill in these gaps here good but there’s just one more thing of terraforming I want to do before we start building the city I want to dig

Out like a big cross that goes across each cardinal direction of the island and I want to have these big trenches so that we can put things in the walls like farms and housing and different types of things so that not only do we have a

City above ground but part of it is underground as well so first I’m gonna dig out two block wide trenches that go all the way around now I need to line these edges with water so that the walls remain smooth and also the bomber takes it down to a

Certain level so let’s first deal with the water Okay now we get the materials for the bomber okay now we build it up all right now we start it like this and then blow everything up let’s go all right the trench looks pretty good I just need a bunch of sponges to clean up all this water there should be a couple

Temples in this ocean here’s one That’s one sponge and here’s the rest of them 31 sponges should be enough I’m not clearing out that much water so all right now we make one more trench but this one goes this way instead of just going down a little bit this one will cut through the entire Island

Except for this middle part Now we put down the water now I rebuild the bomber again That was started up again and just let it run All right lastly we remove this water okay now that we’re done with the terraforming we can start working on the city itself and here’s what I want to do I want this place to be kind of like a safe house so imagine if the Overworld was completely destroyed through some

Crazy cataclysm or something and all of its inhabitants had to flee to the end to survive I want this place to have everything they could possibly need to survive so we’ll have a farm for everything that you can grow in the game as well as farms for every passive

Animal in the game so there’s four main crops you can grow in Minecraft and luckily we have four of these Corners here so what I want to do is take out slices in the middle of each one and then we’ll have a farm in each corner

And then we’ll build up the walls and make it look nice so first let’s slice open these walls Foreign Now that we got these four sections cut out we can start building the Farms themselves so I’m gonna need a bunch of dirt and a bunch of concrete first let’s see how much dirt I have I have none of course but I mean while we’re here we’ll

Get some lights no sea lanterns so I guess we’ll mine up some grass really quick now I should have some sea lanterns in here yes I do perfect all right so I think the way I’ll do this is I’ll just build like a kind of Stairway up to the

Corner here starting from the back of this room thank you All right that’s the first corner I put this little black band on the outside and if we want to go inside fly up here and I’m gonna put a building here eventually but for now we just have these holes and we come in through here and have access to the Farmland awesome

Now we’ll just repeat this design on each of the other three corners and then after that we’ll plant everything so let’s go Okay so we’re done with the Farms now now we just need to get the four crops and luckily way back in the day when I upgraded my starter base I built this neat little farm here that has pretty much every crop in the game I think we

Got carrots beets potatoes and wheat so I’ll just fill up a shulker box of each that should be enough to plant everything in our new Farms all right now we plant all these seeds and we should be good when I finished planting all the seeds I

Went ahead and covered up all that ugly and stone and some gray concrete Okay next up on the list is to decorate this path I’ll have like a little Road in the middle and then I’ll have something so we can reach the portal at the top without just flying to it and I’ll add some trees and some foliage to

Make it look nice so let’s get started foreign Okay so we’re done with the floor and yeah it looks a little gray and lifeless right now but I promise that’ll change next what we’re gonna do is our first building and what it’s gonna be is a massive Spire in the very center of the Island right here on top of the portal

And I’m calling this place the ark because this is gonna hold one or at least two of every single passive mob in the game so all our sheeps pigs cows horses cats dogs Etc and it will be kind of the centerpiece to the island so we

Are going to need all of these materials here minus the Bedrock and it’s really not too bad actually seven choker boxes of gray concrete red concrete this obviously we have because of our farm then sea lanterns I definitely already have this as well the hardest thing to

Get is probably going to be the red stained glass in the blocks of coal so we’ll do the glass first just because it’s closer Foreign Okay we got all our materials now so we don’t have the skyscraper just floating in the air here what I’m gonna do is I’m going to have it connect to these obsidian pillars with like big supporting arms that are kind of holding up the skyscraper I guess because I

Don’t want to just like put support beams into the ground here I think it’ll look kind of bad so I’ll just use different colors of concrete to build up these arms and I’ll try to make it look as good as possible well I couldn’t really get it to look good going into

The obsidian pillars themselves so I just kind of made it angle downwards over the edge of the pit okay that’s our little support beams done now we can build up the outer shell of the spire and then after that we’ll build up each floor and move in each

Animal so with light madica this shouldn’t take too long let’s go remember this is only the outside so yeah the inside looks a little wonky right now but we’re gonna add more detail to it and when I finish this I thought the island was looking amazing

But man does it hail in comparison to the entire build completed this is probably one of the coolest builds I’ve ever made in this game and also what does it say oh yeah it says sub which is something you guys should definitely do it’s probably the best way to support me

Floors in this Tower to house them and also I completely forgot to build a little thing here to be able to access the portal so I think I’ll build some staircases here that connect to maybe a bridge foreign Is done we have a neat little Lobby now we can start working on each floor that the mobs are going to go on so this is what the floor is roughly going to look like so this is one 30 more to go Thank you foreign so I guess I’m just kind of an idiot and that list I read earlier said like 31 mobs but realistically there’s only 15 that I can get which are the ones on screen here so I’ll have some extra empty floors but that’s okay I

Guess it doesn’t really matter so let’s start with the sheet all right bro follow me all right that’s one wait this guy won’t do spawn right shoot I’m not 100 sure but I think this guy’s just gonna despawn when I leave so I guess I’ll go get a name tag villager

Okay 40 should be enough okay we got our sheep now I don’t know where this guy came from I thought he’d spawn but we’ll just go ahead and name at least two of them all right next up is pigs now we need cows No horses no cats nobody dogs and wolves donkeys foxes frogs Turtles mushrooms chickens Snow Golems ocelots and lastly some fish to go into this Pond that you can barely see all right well we’re done with the arc essentially okay for the next phase of the project I was thinking

That since we’re bringing a bunch of the animals from the Overworld we might as well bring some of the Overworld itself so what I’m gonna do is similar to sandiction’s video I’m gonna build a ring of biomes that’s on sort of a floating Bridge connected to each of

These end gateways because would I really be a Minecraft Youtuber if I didn’t at least do one build that involved multiple biomes yeah I don’t I don’t think so so first we’ll get a bunch of black concrete and just build kind of a frame that will put the biomes inside Foreign For the biomes now on screen here are the biomes that I’m going to build I’m not going to build every single biome in the game just because a lot of them look similar to each other like the Birch Forest versus the Oak Forest so we’re just gonna build those ones first I need

To evenly section off those parts of the circle so that all of them are the same size so doing some easy geometry we find that the circumference of this entire border is 584.3 blocks so we’ll just round down and then divide it by 12 which is the

Amount of biomes we have and we find that each biome will be roughly 48 blocks long across the circle so just to know where I’m going to build this I’ll section off each biome with some blocks foreign we have everything sectioned out in the first biome I think I’m gonna do is the

Spruce Forest so I’ll run back to the Overworld really quick get some materials and we’ll build it up and make it look nice all right our Spruce biome’s done and it looks pretty good the next thing we’re gonna do is the deep dark And that’s our deep dark biome next up we have the Mesa foreign next up is the dark oak biome next up we’ve got the Tiger Biome Next we got the desert biome right here Next up we have a jungle biome and then an acacia biome right next to it then I also decided to put in a Crimson Forest from the nether just to shake up the colors a little bit and then I also added a normal Oak and Birch Forest just

Basic trees and then the Warped forest from the nether as well All right our ring biome is complete now you may have noticed I wasn’t gonna put the end biome as well but I think I could just leave one of these sections exposed and put in some coarse fruit after we cover up the rest of the island

With our next phase of the project so we have all of our animals in our Arc we have crops from the Overworld to feed the people here and we have a little bit of the Overworld itself now the last thing this place needs is a place for

The inhabitants to live so if we step into my creative world we can see that I’ve went ahead and designed a series of skyscrapers various apartment buildings that look kind of different but still relatively the same theme with the lighting and concrete okay so we’ll start the apartment buildings on this

Quadrant of the island what I’ll do is I’ll just kind of map out where I’m gonna put the buildings so I can have like a rough floor plan I guess okay well I have three of the buildings outlined but I’m actually gonna stop for a second because I realized that I need

An entrance to my farms and I thought it’d be kind of cool if I had the same tower on the entrance for each farm and that it looked a little bit different than the normal apartment ones so I jumped back into the creative world and designed a tower that I thought looked

Pretty good took me a couple tries but I settled on the design that I liked so since I know I’m gonna build four of them you can see this is the amount of materials I need once again not really too many seven choker boxes of concrete and then two shulker boxes of sea

Lanterns shouldn’t be too difficult for me to get foreign s we can just build up the towers and they’ll all rest right on top of these ladders so let’s go Okay so we’re done with all the towers but I noticed these tops there’s not really anything on them so I figured I could use some grass and some bone meal and Okay that looks pretty good also I think I’m gonna do the same thing up here because there’s kind of this big opening and um yeah nothing really to go on it all right I think this looks pretty good now the last thing I want to do before I

Build up the rest of the skyscrapers is add in some support beams to the biome ring because it looks a little bit weird float angle all right done with the supports now we can finish outlining the skyscrapers spot plotted out let’s get the materials for the first apartment building

Okay so here’s all of the materials for the first building now I’ll just get everything else for every other building and put it in its respective plot Okay now that we have all the materials for every skyscraper we can start building them up I’ll do this one first all right that’s our first apartment building done I even went ahead and decorated each of the floors on the inside just so it didn’t look like a

Weird empty shell when you went in so people could literally live here they could have beds their own storage everything all right now let’s get to work building the rest of the apartments in this quadrant Okay that’s one quadrant of the city done and it looks pretty good the heights of the buildings are spaced out pretty evenly and then we got the central tower of the quadrant sticking up above everything else now we just build up all these skyscrapers on the

Other three sides and our Mega City will be complete Thank you foreign Last thing we need to do really quickly is ADD entrances into each of the buildings and also put some roadways and Pathways in so it doesn’t look like the buildings are just you know sitting on the rock foreign I think that’s it the build looks fantastic and if you’re still watching
