I’m Building A Zoo In Minecraft! – New Mods And Dangerous Kitty! – EP03

Hey guys welcome back to another episode of building a zoo in Minecraft some things have changed since the last episode first and foremost I have added two new mods that’s right two new mods I’ll add them to the list in the description they are journey map as you can see BAM

Oh it did this again that’s weird that’s weird anyway yeah journey map is gonna be very very important for look at our shape of our four kangaroo exhibit here I kind of like that it’s like the shape of a adorable kidney bean um yeah the the journey Maps gonna add a lot of

Ability to add waypoints and stuff we’re gonna do a lot of traveling speaking of which are traveling today um I really like that shape oh you guys there’s a sneak peek at something I built off-camera as well and we’ve also added the travelers backpack as suggested by somebody in the very first

Episode I can make all kinds of these backpacks I’m just gonna make the standard one first and for most travelers backpacks standard oh I see you shears too to shear one of these special backpacks we need for leather backpack tanks a chest a sleeping bag

And a gold ingot so we’ve got a few of those things you don’t have all of them let me show you the main thing oh I think this tree just grew right before our eyes we check on the Kangaroos food actually okay the feeders still pretty decent

Shape how are you guys doing in terms of enrichment 18 of 20 so their enrichment was actually really really low just now I can’t really there we go 15 to 20 and I think the reason is the ball was gone I had no idea where the ball went so I

Crafted another two balls the only problem is they seem to de-spawn or a break or something because now I only see the one or I don’t even see any now but I think I saw one over here yeah there’s one over here maybe the turtles are doing it maybe the turtles are

Jealous but the Kangaroos have their own exhibit and are destroying their balls that would be horrible turtles I hope that is not the case I don’t see the other one anywhere it actually made two more because the the first one went missing and now it looks like there’s

Another one that went missing oh this is interesting maybe the tire swing is a better option tire swing here it is so you need a tire which is for wool and an iron ingot and then what some to string I might even have the supplies to build that I don’t

So let’s go ahead oh I thought you could dye these balls maybe not maybe not I thought for sure you could dye them maybe you got a like surrounded and died or something I don’t have well maybe I do have enough goldenrod I do have enough goldenrod to try that we can try

That in a second I will show you what you may have just seen as I was walking towards my truck over here I built a little bit of a nope that’s not it either I built a little bit of a storage kind of a food storage system so for the

Kibble and for feeding animals we’re gonna need a whole lot of this stuff wheat seeds carrots potatoes and bread so I figured I needed a bit of a storage place here umm I wanted to make it not a building but like sort of an outdoor sort of

Thing where I could just park the truck out in front and load up the back of the truck I mean obviously we’re not gonna be able to do that but I thought it would be cool if you could imagine we could be doing that so what I’m gonna do

Now is harvest all this wheat oh I need wool by the way for the tire swing so whereas my shears do I have them on me cuz I think I’ll just take my shear do I did I break my snow they’re right here good but empty on my inventory we’re

Going to bring some food we need this we definitely need that we need some food I cooked some potatoes maybe I’ll cook some more potatoes though yeah we’re gonna need we’re gonna need a bunch of food this is gonna be a possibly a long during the journey possibly not but yeah

I’m gonna collect all this farming stuff right here I’m gonna put it in a chest and I’m putting I’m putting the hay in actual hay bales cuz it looks kind of cool when it’s stored like that and then we’ll take off and have our adventure just chopping down some more trees I

Mean I can plant these again any time right that’s what I keep telling myself I feel terrible every time I chop down a tree cuz they’re so nice I really like the branches and stuff on them anyway so I’m trying to make some barrels because

I want to store a lot of the food in different ways just because it looks cooler that’s stored in a different way so I’m gonna store some in chests summoned barrels okay and some in hay bales can you guess which ones I’m storing in hay bales

There’s two of them right there I also have two I mean there’s a lot of vegetation required or crops I should probably say crops and not vegetation because you have to make kibble and then you gotta make specific kibble for each animal that you want to tame yeah

There’s a lot of stuff that goes into making this so it’s gonna take me a while to even get prepared for a trip but I’m gonna do it I’m gonna do it luckily I had some bones from all the skeletons I killed plus the skeleton spawner downstairs that’s gonna be key

To getting more bones and making a bunch more wheat and other crops crappenin yeah so we’re gonna get ready I went up I guess continue to do this continue to do what I’m doing then I’ll store a bunch of stuff over there got to make some barrels and to make Berezina make

Kibble in the meantime hope you guys enjoy this quick cut got a couple barrels let’s leave this corner for the hay we will put a check I was gonna say a chair but probably a table would be best oh you know what let me do the

Table here I think or here actually yeah let’s do it here trying to trying to decide what’s best so that ones on the outside block we could actually do it no I think that’s probably best outside block yes and then outside block perfect then we’ll do the thing right

There AHA then we’ll do this put this on top right loop put this on top right here that can open because that’s a half slab well use this for rotten flesh for now because that is also one of the recipes requires rotten flesh so a zombie spawner would be great too and

Then we’ll put a couple of barrels here just looking kind of kind of placed well put seeds in there the kangaroos are gonna love that oh I don’t really like the way it looks though we have to be more organized let’s put it oh no no no no over here

Little thing before we go I kind of just want to make a temporary holding pen for our friends of the turtles or the tortoises because they’re over here I mean come on tortoises you guys you guys don’t have to be in here you guys are gonna get your own exhibit okay I have

To write I have to left-click to catch them caught a box turtle and right-click the place and they can’t escape their candidate I hope not they’re gonna be ok guys they’re gonna be ok they can get into their shell for some shade speaking of shade a lot of you mention or some of

You mentioned but I should create like a little structure that’s why this space is empty I’m actually gonna create a little structure for the Kangaroos but I don’t want it to look like that and the only thing I have available right now is oak so we’re gonna travel a little bit

And get different types of wood just to make it a little bit different I kinda want to use like a reddish wood because you know red kangaroos and stuff where’s my other guy there’s one there this is where the journey map comes in handy they’re both in there still they’re both

There’s also a red thing in here which i think is probably just like a mob underground yeah it sounds like I yeah it sounds like a zombie underground so I don’t know if these balls are still alive either balls break so fast I need that tire swing so lots to do we need

Wool for a tire swing we need iron to make the travelers backpack I’m not ready with that yet I did make seven kibble and I’m bringing a bunch of kibble supplies with me this is for the travelers backpack so is this um yeah we’ll probably leave in the morning in

The meantime let’s catch the rest of these Turtles I know they’re around here somewhere and just like that my net is actually broken so a net can catch and release for animals I have tested it and these are the four that I caught the good thing is they were the only box turtles

In the exhibit so now these guys are gonna get a home eventually in the meantime we got to go do some exploring so now I have no net so we got to keep an eye out for some spiders spiders would be very very handy for us all so let me think

I wonder which would be the best oh not L not L J I wonder what would be the best way it looks like this might what if we made this entire island our zoo that would be pretty awesome I mean it looks like it’s surrounded let’s go over

Here to the edge if it’s surrounded by water I mean that’d be uh that’d be amazing we could extend the island when we wanted with like little bridges and stuff oh oh oh it’s stretching out a little it is an island that would be the coolest thing ever this whole thing

Could be our zoo and if each exhibit is roughly this big I mean it’s not gonna all be exactly the same I think I want something a little bigger for like the elephants and the giraffes and stuff maybe the elephants could be like right here giraffes somewhere around I don’t

Know it doesn’t matter it doesn’t matter the important thing is that this is all one island I like that idea a lot in the meantime we’ve got to get across the water here and it doesn’t look like this way is a good way to go so we’re gonna

Use the bridge that I used last time I hope it’s still there I kind of not a big fan of a glitching while I’m driving it just it just drives me nuts and it probably drives you drives me nuts get it we’re gonna go back this way and explore some new land

What the heck look at this so I was driving back because I want to take gold with me in case I find a trader what are you I mean you’re obviously a sea turtle but the hawksbill sea turtle adamant nature mail variant five bred with the tortoise file he’s a swimmer you feed

Him with all sorts of fruits panelio leaves that’s that’s convenient actually and then enriched with those two toys that is so cool where’d you go buddy aren’t you gonna aren’t you gonna want to get back in the water okay so for our water exhibits we can now have I know

There’s dolphins I know there’s killer whales and now I know there’s sea turtles so that’s awesome and then there’s little fish as well we’re gonna have a big aquarium I think what’ll happen is I’ll put the fish in with the sea turtles and then I’ll have the dolphin separate and the

Whales separate anyway I’m actually going back home because I want to take some gold with me in case I find a trader I hope I don’t run this sea turtle over a sentence I never thought I would say spider I need your string pal what couple of

Them remember I don’t have any armor there’s a string good I need I think three or four of them to make a net oh that’s good we have wool we have five because I had two on me sweet okay so we can make a

Trees and stuff I should I believe there was one pretty close source at redwood I’m not sure look at how cool the birch forest looks oh look there’s another there’s a couple more squirrels oh and overnight I managed to get nine string that’s it I think that’s enough for what two nets

I’ve seen it in my test world but I and I don’t think I’ve seen I don’t know if I’ve seen a red panda in this world everything gets all mixed up um I don’t know what I should do 25 they’re all 25 coins this is the animal trader that’s

Kind of cool I wonder if I can like trap this guy and make him like a permanent fixture in my zoo that would be a cool thing to have right have like dudes that actually look like like they work at the zoo just hanging around I don’t think

I’m gonna buy anything from him only because I have three Nets I can collect three animals I don’t have a whole lot of gold on me and I still want to buy some like vials some breeding vials and stuff from the other trader that spawns although I haven’t seen him in a while

But we might be able to see him we might be able to find him that’s this birch forest I love this birch forest if you’ve ever been in a real I’ve got some birch trees in my yard and I love them there they’re beautiful in real life and the texture on these birch

Trees is way better than like the thick log the the shape I should say probably not the texture the thick log minecraft texture because in real life they’re very slender trees this is really cool oh I would love a hippo exhibit all look at the toucan so many possibilities I

Would love a hippo exhibit these are all elephants I don’t have any oh there’s the the Gauri yell I think I think that’s what that is right I think so um I don’t have anything to sleep on I should have brought my bed with me but I’m an idiot

I want to make a sleeping bag but I need one more a little bit of wool what’s really really dark okay all right I think I’ll just I think I’ll just hang around here the elephants I don’t know if they’re aggressive I mean I could catch the elephants but I know I

The hippos I’m pumped about the hippos I still want to keep exploring though so we’re gonna kick we’re gonna put the hippos in our nets and put them in our inventory then we’re gonna keep exploring we’re kind of in a weird spot where we’re very much waterlogged I got

Learn more about you okay so this is a jolly nature male variant to bread with frog well I guess it’s got like traits so it digs and it’s fed with sugar Wow you guys you guys a little bit of a sweet tooth okay there’s some purple

Lavender biome lavender fields yeah look at that oh look at all the different variants of parrots macaws right macaws yeah docile female variant too hyacinth I love that they have names for them too like their actual variant names oh there’s a bird perch or something what’s it called perch

The best part is I’ve got this these rosebud things right here so let’s get this show on the road boom we got to do two of these I think I think it matters we had I’ve got to have one of these we got to do this and this boom now we got

A sleeping bag which is convenient in and of itself now can I actually travelers backpack back oh I’m missing the chest Oh in the backpack tanks which I can make which I could totally make two of them got it okay so let’s get you out of there now I’m missing the chest

So I gotta just be careful here I gotta chop down a tree there’s not a whole I might go ahead and take a corner of those trees actually let’s hold this in there and let’s chop you down with my axe that I for a second thought I didn’t recover from the cheetah attack

Water tank reservoir is half filled with water here let’s do this okay the green is tools I believe and you can pull out the tool while it’s in your backpack so if I put the pick in and the axe in I can pull it out somehow I’ll have to

Read the controls on that so I haven’t gotten that far just yet this is too exciting for me to even contain let’s put all the fruit well let’s put everything in here really all the fruit did I say fruit I don’t have any fruit other than the Apple let’s put all this

Stuff in there cuz we don’t need it right now the brown slots are like a crafting grid so um for instance boom look at that oh I love this I love this I love the birch yeah I can’t wait to plant those this is beautiful this is

Beautiful this is beautiful so as this so as that I am so pumped I need to find out how let’s put them in our inventory for now because until I find out how to pull this out then and this just puts it on the floor right oh it puts it in my

Inventory and then I can put it on the floor and then shift right-click puts it on my back oh my gosh this is gonna be a game-changer look at how much space I have in my inventory all of a sudden I wonder what happens to it when you die

Though does it drop with all your items in it probably probably anyway we did it guys we got the travelers backpack we’ve got some hip bones we’re ready to start our exhibit we’re gonna finish start and finish the exhibit in the next episode I think maybe that’s how I’ll do it no

Every other episode is a exhibit build and then every other episode is like an adventure go out looking for animals bill or bill episode maybe we’ll do it that way maybe we won’t but for now I feel like that’s a good I knew it that’s the sound they make when they’re dying
