This video is just a showcase of my newest version of floating islands. In it, I will check out many structures, biomes, and just cool terrain and cave generation. Here we can see our first village, simple but nice. A nice snowy dripstone cave with the new aquifers, one is covered with ice. Here is an ancient city, they generate at the bottom of the world. Wondering if I can change that… Still very cool to see. A nice underground aquifer, and some beautiful lush caves! A mansion! This was cool to find because this first seed is randomly generated. A nice mineshaft and lava aquifer here. And another village A good bit of time passes, but I eventually see this outpost with the new allay. Here you can see an ocean, which explains the strange shipwreck. lol. A nice swamp, with the new frogs! They are so cute. Another outpost Atmospheric night-time village. Another one, very nice. This is the end of the first seed, now onto the set seed, which will be in the desc. We start off with some nice ice aquifers and ice spikes. Another advantage of the changed world height is that regular taigas do not have snow on them to differentiate them from the snowy taigas. Giant tree taigas are always neat. Nice blue water from this meadow. And bee tree Here’s another ocean. In the older version it would not be sand, but I think this is a nice fix for lukewarm oceans. Ooh badlands. Very nice. These dripstone caves can get nutty. Very nice bamboo jungle here. There’s an even bigger one later. And this lush cave is equally as nutty. Always so beautiful, especially with this world gen. I MEAN LOOK AT THIS, STUNNING! I hit a leaf and now I’m falling, this scared me a bit lol. I was looking for this jungle temple Cool stone formation with the stony peaks here. And surface lush caves. Hello axolotl family ( ´ ▽ `)ノ Some deep dark blotches This is a very cool part.. just wait for it. Hello ocean monument Very nice location for it in my opinion. Some tidepools here. These are how you will be able to get fish and kelp and sea grass and coral… There are two issues though, fish only spawn between y=50-63 and coral only spawn rarely with sky exposure in warm oceans. If I can find a way to change fish spawning, or boost coral rates/let the coral spawn without sky access I will Here’s a mushroom island. Not really an island anymore and it’s kind of small, but that’s normal for 1.18+. They can also generate reallllly big though too. Pretty nice tidepool here. Here at some tropical fish that spawned in the ocean. Hello geode. A desert village, one of my favorites. And this cool mangrove. I wanted to find a desert temple and this took forever for some reason. Maybe I’ll increase their generation rates if I can… Speaking of increase generation rates, look at all this sugarcane. Nice to have. This was the bamboo jungle I was talking about. It is amazing. Look at this deep dark biome, it’s the biggest I’ve ever seen! Mansion pt 2: buried edition I really like this meadow village on the lakes here, but that’s it, cya! Video Information

Version 1.2 of my datapack that creates floating islands. I added aquifers and lowered some of the terrain and it just looks really cool, and also fixes the problem of lack of water in my first version.
