Hey guys jwis pier and today we have a really exciting minecon 2021 update video so if you don’t know mojing yesterday released a video talking about the new mob vote for the upcoming minecon yet again we will get to vote for a new mob added to minecraft and

Today we have some fantastic news because they actually revealed the first new mob which is the glare so today we’re going to talk about the glare we’re going to discuss what the mob is what it does what it means for minecraft but also some weird and a little bit creepy

Theories going on about the new minecraft video that shows some interesting things that uh we don’t really know much about so there’s lots to talk about in this video let’s get into it so the glare is what looks to be a new tameable pet within minecraft similar to wolves cats foxes and

Axolotls you can tame it and it’ll be your little buddy and help you alongside in caves now in minecraft 1.18 there’s a brand new mechanic we need to talk about that’s important for the glare and that new mechanic is that mobs monsters you know bad mobs things like zombies

Skeletons hostile mobs only spawn at light level zero previously if there was a little bit of light these hostile mobs could still spawn but now they won’t spawn unless the light level is zero and what the glare will do is help you locate areas where the light level is

Zero and where dangerous mobs could potentially spawn now if we look at the glare’s design you know it looks like moss it looks like it would fit in with the new lush caves biome which means that we’re going to be using this mob while caving a lot and this mob will

Help keep us protected because it will tell us areas that potentially hostile mobs could spawn now why this is pretty cool is because if you have a cave or a house or a build or an area and you can’t exactly tell if the light level is

Zero you can use the glare to sort of scout out where potential mobs can spawn now it seems like the way the glare is going to work is the glare is a cutesy mob very nice very silly and it will get grumpy when it is near an area that

Hostile mobs can spawn so when the glare gets grumpy you know that he’s in an area that some hostile and bad mobs can spawn so this mob is really gonna help protect us now the glare itself is a pretty interesting mob but what might be potentially more interesting is what we

See in the actual glare announcement video released on the official minecraft youtube channel so here we are on the official minecraft live 2021 reveal for the new mob the glare and we have some pretty interesting things to go over so this video the entire scene takes place with this background obviously

Underground but there’s some interesting things we need to talk about other people have been talking about this on twitter on instagram on reddit no one really knows what’s going on or if this even means anything but it could everything mojing puts into every one of their videos every one of their updates

This giant top secret box right in the middle staring at your face they obviously want us to notice this now what’s inside of this top secret box what it is what’s inside of here honestly who knows but it’s still just pretty interesting to talk about there’s obviously a secret they’re hiding from

Us and they want us to know that there’s a secret now besides that there’s also something interesting so if we look to the left here there’s an armor stand and next to it you can tell by the base there’s actually another armor stand and at first i thought this was a normal

Minecraft b and then i thought wait what is a minecraft b doing inside of a cave and if you look closer it’s actually not a minecraft b it’s the head of a minecraft b and that’s a little terrifying and creepy on its own but you notice back here we have wings and a

Suit so this is actually a b costume this isn’t a b this is a b costume that can be put on an armor stand that’s meant for a player now mojing has always added you know whenever they have scenes for videos like this they only use blocks that

Exist in minecraft currently we don’t have a b costume within minecraft so this is very interesting we’re going to get a b costume inside of minecraft are we going to get mob costumes inside of minecraft are we going to get maybe sort of like halloween costumes are we going

To be able to wear this bee costume to harvest honey i don’t know looks like there’s definitely more to come with bees bees were added in 1.15 and there wasn’t really too many uses for them you could make honey and honey had a couple of uses nothing too crazy so just kind

Of interesting to see that there’s another potential that bees have in the future so yeah definitely some pretty interesting stuff what is inside of this top secret box what is it what does it mean why’d they put it there you know they had to design this video so they

Put that there for a reason and also what’s this bee costume i’m not sure hopefully our questions are answered once the other two mob vote videos are released in the next couple of days here uh or if not hopefully they’re at least answered in minecon it’s pretty

Be able to harvest honey without having to worry about bees attacking us i don’t know there’s so many questions left unanswered and i’m really just curious to see what mojing has in store with this upcoming update and with minecon live 2021 and besides that that’s pretty

Concept for a mob it’s gonna be a new pet that we can have follow around us and you know it’s pretty cute too so i don’t know what do you guys think about the glare i won’t judge it yet because i don’t know about the other two mobs but

So far the glare has my vote i mean it’s the only mob that could physically have my vote because we don’t know the other two but it looks really interesting i think it could be pretty fun and i think it’s pretty dang cute let me know your
