KILRtv – Minecraft Exploration || Large Biomes || Ep. 33 – “The Town of Birchwood” || Chroma Hills

Okay i am our taylor games Do Hello gamers and minecrafters i am the killer gamer welcome back to the minecraft exploration series featuring large biomes so What are we going to do today well we’re going to prepare our home for our custom town that we’re going to be building here and i have a name for the place i’ll show that to you here and show us a moment right I guess you can’t have too many signs all right so i’m going to head out so this is uh music by c418 one of his other albums now this does not replace the actual music this is in addition uh to the music Okay so i’m looking at making this a dock So put this here welcome to birchwood explanation point so that is going to be the name of our town uh yeah i’m gonna make it a town it’s gonna be called birchwood because most everything is gonna be birchwood except for maybe this tree which is gonna grow

Now that we got that established i’m going to be making one of our very first hey group one of our very first buildings for our village we’re going to be making a tannery and i’m just going to see where we can actually put that I suppose like right maybe right here alongside the beach might be it might be decent because it’s it’s close to oh well you know what the cows are over here maybe we should uh one thing i want to do is get some more cows so come here cows that should be enough Sun is going down but i’m looking to see where we can put that tannery how about over here there’s a room over here let’s take a look Yeah i might be able to put a tannery over here um i’m looking at the blueprints at the moment let’s see i don’t have any dirt the blueprints are saying let’s see one two three four five six possibly seven so if we do it i guess right here one two three four five

Six seven so it would be that big it would come out here we can have a walkway go that will work actually i think that would work all right so i’m getting the official blueprints from the wiki site because i want to i want to build um the same buildings

That were in that village And give our survivors of the zombie apocalypse a new home there’s a lot of bad memories with that place to well i guess i shouldn’t have left that trap door open do i need some chicken i think i need some chicken yeah i need to restock my supplies sorry hi derp derp Put my stone sword away Still don’t have a bow yet Nope we should be getting yep sleep here finally okay so one thing that we need is oak oak planks but we’re not going to use oak since this is a birch wood forest we’re going to be using birch wood let’s see here i’m gonna put the signs right there for the moment

And we do have some birch um fences and stuff so that’ll be useful Get the stark oak log put that over there oak planks yeah we’ll put that in there i’m gonna have to reorganize all this stuff let’s put our wheat in there a couple places we can put wheat Another thing of chicken we’ll go ahead cook these up hey we’ve got some more gold that was the gold that i think we brought from the other village town whatever okay so according to the wiki we’re going to need a total of 23 planks so let’s go and get

23 well we have 24. we’re gonna need slabs we’re gonna need about nine of those so i think a couple more of those should probably do it let’s see that gives us enough good And what else here let’s put that over here we need some oak logs which actually we’re gonna be using the birch birch ones And the oak logs there’s 20 of them okay 20. cobblestone we need 68. okay we’re going to be busy getting cobblestone that’s for sure do i have any more cobblestone after did we use it on i think we might have used it Let’s see you know what and something that might be useful is creating It’s a 20 o’clock didn’t i i got eight sitting there i’m working on folks okay we need um probably have enough but oh no i don’t know i’m going to make a chest and we’re going to put it over there and it’s going to have all the items that we need

Another thing we need is a cauldron i’m only going to make one cauldron because it acts as a it acts like a job site thing so if there’s a cauldron uh a villager will claim it and become a a tanner a leather worker now if i’ve got now usually they have three

And when we bring the villagers over i don’t want them all becoming tanners although it might make it easier to trade with but yeah i want to make sure they all get a different variety of stuff all right oh cobblestone walls they need two well we’ve got we’ve got that plenty of those

Let’s go ahead and put these in there what else do we need we need a chest oh perfect well we got a chest a smooth stone oak door which we can make that a birch door do i have any more birch doors left or did i use them all

I think i use them all okay put this door in here um oakwood stairs i believe i have i got stairs somewhere i think i left them i think the stairs were left at one of the other um one of the locations that we left okay stairs

Oh we need 68 of those things okay then we’re gonna need to bring this we’re going to need to bring all those um the oak fence we got we got the fences right here cobblestone okay i think we’re set other than not having the cobblestone which that’s an easy solution let’s just go

Down here we’ll go down to the basement and get ourselves some cobblestone okay yeah i didn’t think there was any there but there is going to be some over here we’re going to go ahead and open this up and i don’t know um how about we put a torch right

There and then we’ll dig around it you know something else that i’m thinking about doing too is turning creating an underground city as well where the villagers will be underground and we’re going to make this a bustling little little town it’s going to be bustling with energy and when we leave on explorations

It’s going to be exciting when we come back now um there is a video on my youtube channel where i created a stark star trek transporter complete with sound effects using uh using command blocks now it was made for 1.10 and i think i did manage to get it updated for

1.11 but not since then but i’d like to rebuild that transporter here because i had it set to where it would randomly teleport you like there were three different settings like a small radius a bigger radius and a large radius and i also had it um it was

The command blocks were in the uh the spawn chunk so that way it was always running so not only did i have that but i also had a little thing that i created which would detect if you had a communicator which was just basically a wooden button

And the minute you slap that onto a um a block it would make it disappear so that way it doesn’t stay in the world and then it would beam you back back to that transporter so kind of cool uh and i even had it set up to where there were six

Uh six transport pads that you could stand on and it would randomly take you back to one of those pads and you can also do a youtube search on star trek transporter and you’ll see it it’ll come up uh let’s see we got some iron let’s go

Ahead and get the iron so yeah i would love to put that in this world because then exploration is gonna it’s it’s it’s gonna be awesome because we’ll get randomly teleported somewhere now where i had created it was basically a test world so i have other things sitting there so

Um that’s why i’m not using that world for exploration and i don’t think i it wasn’t set for large biomes anyway finding some goodies in here i wasn’t expecting to find which will need all this anyway eventually because we’re going to need to make a rail system

So we can get those little buggers away from their old home and to their new home and we got a lot of iron here okay i’m gonna go ahead and knock these out here too there we go well since i knocked all that out i’m gonna go ahead and knock these out

Too because we’re gonna need granite yeah so just think uh when we get this thing built up you guys are going to be able to go back to these early episodes and see where it all started and i think that’s one of the cool things about minecraft um

You get to see people build stuff and considering the way television is nowadays um i think this is better entertainment than what you find on tv i mean tv is is nothing but political garbage you know with uh woke messaging you know the phrase get whoop get whoa go broke yeah there’s

A whole bunch of garbages going on and in the entertainment industry anymore you know to the point he’s like you know what i don’t care because they’re you know they’re wanting to do these gender swaps and race swaps on stuff because it’s force diversity you know what and

No one’s asking for this you know hey diversity is great make new characters stop taking established characters and changing them that’s not what people want to see but people are interested in new characters you know new original characters that haven’t been done before oh i am filled up here We don’t need the egg we can toss the egg let’s take this okay okay i think that’ll do it all righty let’s see we’ll go ahead and polish up this granite and i’ll just put this granite in there a diorite in there we got ourselves i think plenty of

Cobblestone so i think we’ll be good we got that much iron already wow i didn’t think we got that much we’re gonna need to make some more stone uh pickaxes see and we got our clock so we don’t have to go up top anymore to find out what time it is

I don’t think we’re gonna have to worry about phantoms for a while no no no Put those right there and what do we need here we can fill that up take those and i guess for right now we’ll put a coal right there all right let’s get uh let’s get to some building here before i bring those villagers in here i’ll be creating a wall

To keep them protected alrighty so we need some birch let’s put the chest some of that we need to get a few more uh planks 23 of them up that’ll do it all right let’s go ahead and get started here so let’s see one two three four five so one two three

Four five in case you’re wondering there is something else that goes right here uh it’s a cobblestone wall that’s what it is okay so let’s put that right there and we will get our cobblestone wall out and put that right there okay so our little lamp

Thing’s going to be on the way but that’s okay uh let’s go ahead and put in some more planks one’s going to go here and one’s going to go there now you see you didn’t think this is going to be a a build series did ya

Like you’re gonna go through and do some blueprints yeah but this is not in creative mode how about that so we need to go over one two three four five from here so one two three four five and we’ll just go ahead and layer these in there like that

We’ve got that one and there’s going to be another one right here this is the full length of it right here and then we’ve got let’s see i believe it’s going to be right here i think that’s where it’s going to be at and we’ll be moving that

Okay so now we’re going to go ahead and put in some cobblestone where’s our shovel don’t do it no i don’t have a shovel do i let’s go and we’re going to fill this up here so this is layer number one okay and then we’ve got two one two oh my

So we’re a little off here yeah it sure looks like two all right so there’s that this is actually going to be oh wait a minute are those the those are the uh oak slabs that’s what that i’m sorry not oak slabs we got to move things around here

Ax there you are so this is not going there what we do need though is this so yeah those are actually going to be going it’s hard to see the um make out exactly what it is but and the blueprint that is okay okay so i got that right

As far as the number c and or did i yeah this comes out one more than that okay so those are right i just need to change these so when we get the first level done i’ll show you and then that way it’s like okay this is what i need to do

Now keep in mind you can look this up on on the wiki site also this is the tannery so what we’re making is the tannery okay so we’re gonna fill this all the way there with uh blocks there should be one two three in between we got more than three

Which means we’re off on our numbers again just kind of weird but it does seem like we’re we’re definitely off so these are supposed to be here whoops that didn’t work there yeah okay yep i’m getting i’m right i’m right this is it okay this is survival building folks this is not creative

Let’s grab that cobblestone wall here there’s another one that’s going to go right here and we got a cobblestone stair as well that cobblestone stair is going to go right here okay let’s take this out cobblestone is going to go right there okay what the heck this is like

Oh oh oh okay it’s so easy to get thrown off on some stuff but no this is right okay so we got that now we’ll go ahead and put out this grass we need a cauldron which is right there and we’re gonna put that cauldron there is a middle one

There’s like one two three we’re going to put the middle one down right there okay one other thing that we need is a cobblestone stair which i don’t have right there uh we are going to put this chest we’re going to put it right there right next to the cauldron and we’ll throw

That in there we’ll throw the birch stairs that’s you don’t need to put the fence in there slabs i think we need in there whoops not what i wanted to do there okay so let’s go ahead and go back get some rest we’ll pick up our sugar cane on the way back

Because we’re going to want to make books and all kinds of fun stuff and the bed is down here so we’ll go and i’m gonna oh not yet not yet i was gonna call it a call in an episode but not yet Okay i want to make the stairs did i get them all oh wow yes i did cool you know i am going to get rid of these two things of gravel so that way we can what do we do what do we do let’s replace it with grass instead of gravel

There we go now i can do that yep let’s get rid of this gravel too sorry guy you’re in the way you’re preventing us from doing what we want to do okay let’s put another one right there yeah i think that works okay cobblestone stairs i’m gonna go right here

Something tells me that’s not right that it’s supposed to be inside so this is oh ooh ooh i just realized something these are supposed to be sitting on top not down like that but anyway what we’re going to be doing is we’re going to be repeating the same exact

Uh shape but it’s going to be sitting so this should should have been one block above ground not underground like like what i did that’s okay um it’s not a big deal if anything this allowed us to uh space everything out but so level one is actually the level i’m working on

Right now oh we got plenty of cobblestone yeah it’s fine so if anything you think of this down here as the uh drawing our out part see now that we have it we can just do this we’ll move those let’s go ahead and get this with pickaxe

And let’s see we should have room and we’ll go ahead and take this down there we go and now where is that there it is now we can go ahead and start putting some things in here let’s put that right there and that will go right there i’m pretty sure that’s correct

I think it’s it’s oh wait wait wait wait no it does not go there hold on but i’m close it goes right here yes we got it all right folks this is level one this is what it should look like all right so you got two here

Cobblestone you got stairs you got two pillars there you’ve got one uh here in between you’ve got one two three cobblestone blocks uh in between here and here you’ve got one two three four five six okay so six cobblestone blocks in between here uh one two there so there you go

Um except we didn’t do this inside part let’s go ahead and do that need some more that should do it there we go and see and and since we’re making the actual uh little village houses we can customize them but it will still look kind of natural

So like with this instead of oak we’re using birch and we can go a step further and we could use you know something different besides cobblestone so but right for right now i want to make this a little a little homey for for our little villagers that you know
