Everybody and welcome to the legacy SMP server got a brand new server here we got have a bunch of lovely people bunch you guys are all my friends so I’ve known for many many years now and I’m finally gonna play Minecraft with all of you I’m so very excited for it and we

Have the one and only our Kahless here with us too Arg we need him for the yeah come on all right well welcome on in everybody let’s go do the survival thing come on try run so what the geeks and nerds out there welcome to legacy SMP that’s right run a

Server we are playing with friends and yeah after we met up at the beginning there we headed north on the lookout for a nice area to set up base and set up shop and yeah along the way a few things happened and congrats on the achieve we

Continued no but of course it’s only a matter of time before this happens don’t do it don’t be the first death and the first to achievement okay eventually we found a village with a nice cave system underneath we began to explore and then you know it didn’t go so well I ain’t

Going over there you guys are crazy after a couple of hours of caving and gathering resources I was feeling pretty good I had a bunch of stuff ready and ready for my starter base as well but then disaster struck you can come to my holy honey chapel It’s now the next day and I have somewhat recovered have a little bit more mining and stuff so let me show you what I’ve got so far we’ve got not very much so for someone that’s been any single player world for a couple of years and managed to gets like pretty

Much infinite resources of everything I need this is all I have my possession so we’ve got a long way to go and this is my place but look fruits been here get out my place let me treat is allowed but yeah so we’re on a server we also do

Some amazing people so I’ll go talk a bit more about that in a bit but yeah I think what we’ll do now is want to get to get more a little bit more get some more resources and I’ve got an idea for my starter base what I want to do is I

Want to get to a bunch of dirt and make a dirt heart because that’s what most people do right get some dirt make it hot make a nice holy whole Heidi hopefully so you’re safe remember from the Ghoulies at night so that’s what we

Need to do but I’d like to get a few resources along the way if we can so as I’ll do that I can talk about the the server this series the people on it and how it’s all going to work and look at this having gone too far and we found

Diamonds our very first diamonds this is gonna be good yes we got it yes so I can hear lots of lava around so I kind of dug around the diamonds making sure none of them get into the hot stuff but yeah let’s go yes yes we’ve got a bunch of

People online as you can see and I’ve got one next to my name that’s the one Beth so far they track in deaths but yeah so this is good it’s tough so I need to I’m not gonna use these diamonds for I wonder well I need to I need a bit

Of dirt and anyone that knows the kind of stuff I get up to I don’t do things by halves when I say a bit of dirt I mean a lot of dirt so I might invest in an enchantment table and then if I have any trauma to or I needs a diamond pick

So I can get the diamond pick with that to get the obsidian so I’m going to need a bit more diamonds I think so yeah I think I’m good I keep going and try and get some more resources especially the bling blings I’m collecting at the

Underneath the ground so as I as I do the dinner branch mining if ever I come across some dirt I’m actually digging it all up because I need about a double chest of dirt for the build I’ve got in mind and yet I need to up my game on the building front

And this is a bit of a joke I suppose but yeah it’d be cool once it comes up because this server is filled filled to the brim with some amazing people so amazing builders in particular man my a bit worried but stuffs gonna stick out like a sore thumb

But hopefully hopefully we can make up for it with some interest in their contraptions and farms and things like that as well along the way so yeah just they’re trying to gear up as much of this dirt as i can along the way now expected to flip he’s got a bit

Of dirt spare so i’m gonna go up there and maybe do a little dip live with it deal with him for some dough so much how much he’s got hopefully he’s got a load and that would save me all this work digging all this stuff out so yeah let’s

Go up to the surface see flip and see what he’s got a flip Hey go really well it’s going really well and I had had a bit of a mishap early on had an early death and I lost some stuff oh but yeah I’m starting to recover it’s been all

Two diamonds or you already got some redstone yeah I know you need more than that I know you I know I’ve tried making them before I know how much redstone that it’s like we got 16 diamond blocks I can do that for two diamonds

Each or we can do 32 for 392 53 oh I don’t have to meet those at the moment so maybe what I put you if you need to sit on that deal for a few and come back and I think don’t don’t let gem hear those cheeses not here you know if

Diamonds and yeah as I do that I thought I’d talk about the server a little bit and yeah so plans and that kind of stuff so let me take a map on the screen this is the map of the immediate vicinity and you can see it is divided up into

Different zones and these are themed and we’re currently in the medieval zone so that’s where we’ve started up and you can see it’s what was the bottom the south-southeast that’s where we spawned in on the on the on the snowy the snow biome that’s down there yeah so

We sought travel with North sort of Northwest and we’re a village in the medieval district so that’s what we were doing so we’ve got to a bunch of themed areas that we’re gonna be working in and yeah I’m not sure what I’m gonna do just yet so um obviously my single-player is

All sort of focused around sci-fi we’ve got we’ve got a sci-fi area a sci-fi and that kind of stuff so I may well end up there but I might do it ain’t different so if you are some suggestions or the kind of thing you’d like to see me do

There’s also one from the Bourne Legacy so lots of legacy screenshots and an image is there to kind of tease tease out what it was all about and as I’ve recorded this some people got close but they haven’t sort of nailed it just yet and I’ve also been tweeting about the

Release date of episode 1 which is it’s supposed to be as I’m as I’m recording this Friday the 13th now I’m hopeful the home connect get everything done I wanted that get done so hopefully my episode will come out on time but yeah I need the dirt but this

Is the other good thing about collecting the dirt is underneath as I mine because first of all and I’m not destroying the the terrain above by they’re taking down all the dirt but also as I do this I might reveal some some cool resources so you know whenever you dig one of these

I’m always hopeful there’s gonna be like a moment behind it but yes not many diamonds so far I’ve just got those that those original four so far but yeah not too bad so I need to get this stuff dumped back in my chest I’ve got a chest just down there with all the

Collected so far so I need to have a little stock take and see how much we’ve got we need about double chests there’s slightly over and once we’ve got that we can start the construction I think it’s time to go outside and have a look around and see what else has been going

On I’ve been stuck down underground for quite some time but look at this place look at this I need to have a look around to see what’s going on people were already like all these animals on margie’s people are already building cool stuff I need to get on I need to

Top of this hill could be good I need to have a look around yeah there’d be too far away but also I don’t know sort of build next to somebody and then you know encroach on their space so there’s like someone’s laying some star stuff out

Over here so I don’t I kind of get away but that it might be a clearing over there so let’s go investigate have a look around and see what’s what I think I found a spot and it’s right behind Nash crafters start intent which is right there which is looking epic and

Yet my my little starter house is gonna be right here I think so I need to do a little bit of terraforming I think and also the process I can take down this dirt and use it for the build so I need to yeah yeah just create a bit of space

So it’s going to be quite big it’s gonna be from this this couple stone over to that one right there and then there’s another one right there and over in that direction over there that’s this is gonna be my starter house it’s gonna be quite cool I think but

Also a little bit of a trial let’s see how it goes hopefully hopefully I’ll get kicked off the server so I think yeah it’s a bit painful with this this shovel though I might have to take flip up on his offer and yeah make myself a diamond a diamond

Shovel and go an inch on to it get some efficiency on it so I could rip through all of this dirt as quick as possible I don’t know nope broke look at this place so this is flips house and I’m looking for the enchantment set up over there is what whoa oh oh

That dirt so that is what we’re up to now let me show you I’ve done a bit of a bit of progress but of planning and laying out so this is this is where the height is going to be on top of this this cobblestone so you’re kind of laid

It out and I’ve also flattened out a whole bunch of land here but because we’re going to see it but because I needed some extra dirt and I’ve got just about enough now and I didn’t make a slight mistake with my enchanting of my my shovel so I’ve got efficiency three

On it which is good good for dirt you into the mud dirt with that but you don’t into the mine grass so most of the stuff I cleared that was actually grass so that was a bit painful but what I have done is I’ve kind of cheated a

Little bit and I’ve gone underneath so down here you can see it is a there’s a big hole here so I’ve got another here and I’ll be digging out there all around here and it goes because it’s dirty it comes to comes up pretty pretty quick so

Yeah I’ve had this a bit of time that way so we’re here and I’ve got the day I think I need and I’ve started laying out this cob which is gonna be the floor that’s gonna be built on and then I’m going to kind of bring this down an

Angle so asked our house he’s kind of sitting on on a platform of cobble so to start with it’s just just been spamming down cobble in this kind of kind of yeah I could taper in it down but obviously we’re going to come back into here we

Can replace some of these blocks get some different variation in gets the different blocks in get some stairs and walls or things like that trauma these a bit more interesting and then on top of it it’s going to be our dirt Hut just a dirt heart nothing special just the dirt

Huh verticals we’re in the medieval area the medieval zone so we need to theme it in the medieval style so yeah that’s that is the plan so here’s here’s what I got his word that we’ve got a bit of coke left over and a few other bits and

Pieces are brought all the stuff up from the mine which which was down there all of our stuff is now in here ready – yeah ready to be in our I start a house so I think what I’m going to do now is gonna just make a big progress spewed and

Stuff up but as I do a few things ought to talk about some aims for the series some aims for the server things I want to get to and stuff like that so yeah let’s get cracking and as you watch me build up our the hut

We talk about a few things about the series so first of all my goal for the series mas my goal well of course there is having fun and playing with all the other members but the key goal is to become the king of the server that’s

Right we need to be the richest we need to earn as many times as possible yeah and basically just own the whole entire server there’s a lofty goal I know but I think we could do it and that is what I’m going for and for that of course I’m

Going to need to build lots of contraptions and farms and all sorts of interesting things open up a bunch of shops and sell our sell our goods to all the other members of course on top of that I’m gonna try and do some sweet deals with some people and that brings

Me on to doing as many collaborations as possible we’ve already seen flip today and yeah there may be some more later on but yeah we’re gonna try and try to interact and play with as many as many people on the server as we can now one

Thing I’ve decided to do is I want to avoid any Opie farms now by that I mean things that I did I deem to be Opie in the game so that is things like afk fish farms also zero tick farms that kind of thing I’m not gonna do those kind of

Things just because I want to try to do it without that kind of stuff but for this sir for this series and also I’m not gonna kind of rush things as well and I’ve been playing my single-player world for a long time and I’ve been in

The end game for a long time and so yeah I’m gonna Detroit you know I’m gonna take it easy a little bit I’m gonna be riding horses and you know looking the the ID armor for a bit yeah not gonna rush to too much yeah I’m gonna sort of

Fight the dragon if they won and feel like that but yeah that is that’s what we’re doing and then of course we need to build a mega base not quite sure what we’re gonna build just yet my previous place with the dev stars I’ve got so high eight oh yeah

High expectations of what we can do and I’ve got to I’ve got to try and follow that but that’s going to be cool and yet in terms of the pace of the series I’m gonna try and lock out two episodes a week I’m not sure that’s going to be

Possible and I think one one a week is was alright of my single player but now I’m playing with other people on a server I wanna try and do get a few more things and I think that would be good a good all-around but yeah the key thing

Is to do lots of collaborations with people try and do some deals got so we’ve got some ideas coming along already so that’s going to be super cool and make sure you check out in the description for the links to all the other peeps on the server

Talented people and yeah I cut weight but it’s to get going and there it is Oh Castle because obviously we’re in the medieval district and of course our first house in Minecraft made of dirt is gonna be a castle so that means we are the king of the server as I said yes

Because we have the only castle so that is good news so one goal has been achieved already so I’m going to do a bit more work on essentially so I’ve continued putting down some cobblestone so I’ve done some more along this side so this is all in

Progress and yeah as you can see this is where I’ve got to so a bit of a bigger drop here so just kind of add the cobblestone round here need to do all of that and obviously will do around the side so I’ve kind of laid out rough

Roughly where how that’s going to go so they fit over in then we’re gonna go around add some block variation you know some walls and some andesite that kind of stuff and I’ve got some got some coolster so I think I’m going to go into the dirt and yeah randomly put in some

Coolster to randomize that and just see if we couldn’t just pretty this place up a little bit I mean obviously well see dirt is the perfect material to build anything so you know it doesn’t we don’t to do too much but yeah but I’ve heard I’ve heard rumor that there may actually

Be another castle on the server which is not good so let’s go over to town and let’s check it out all right so I finished my castle looking by but look at what is this thing here oh no it’s sausage hello you haven’t built a castle

Problem is we got to build the jealousy internally so as long it’s not made out of dirt I think we’re gonna be alright okay no worries okay see you later goodbye craftsmanship just a few more days here and there the old slab just to give us a bit of variation there we go

So I’ve done a bit of work as you can see so here we have on the cobblestone of mixed enzyme andesite and I’ve added in some some walls and some stairs and slabs where I kind of stuff is to give us a bit more interest got you know a

Little path here just to get us going and yeah I’ve added some leaves as you can see for a kind of vines have also added in some coarse dirt to try and get some variation in the dirt and also even put down some grass look at that oh yeah

Got yourself some shears and now we’ve got a bit of greenery as well so here we go and of course the only important sign so you know whose house is what there we go logic starter house there is also this is pretty cool so you can see the walls

On the outside and then we’ve got this kind of the keep inside so if you go in here kind of sort of lil bit earlier with when we were visited by sausage but so you can see little entranceway here keep inside and in here we have

Obviously masses of space – yeah to fill up as we want so this is going to be our starter base for the time being until I work out what my actual base is going to be and where it’s going to be and stuff like that we need to work out

What districts put it in and what stones go for but this yeah this is looking it’s looking pretty cool I think yeah we can definitely say that we are king of the server and I think that should pretty much do it for episode 1 of legacy SMP this is pretty cool having a
